Makita 40V Max Li-ion XGT
Introducing XGT, a new 40V standalone system; with a new charging adapter to allow the new 40V XGT platform to use the DC40RA charger to charge both LXT slide type battery and the new XGT battery, in as little as 28 minutes. The XGT range of tools and batteries have a built-in program that provides digital communication between the battery and the tool, allowing for the battery not only to talk with the tool but also for the tool to talk to the battery.

The GA038GZ07 features active feedback sensing technology (AFT) to shut down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down, auto-start wireless system (AWS) to connect the tool to a compatible dust extraction system with Bluetooth; chip 198900-7 required, sold separately. The dust extraction system automatically runs whilst the switch is on and battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over-discharge and overload current.
The GA038GZ07’s side grip can be installed on either side of the tool for operator convenience.

The GA038GZ07 is a cordless 230mm Angle Grinder, powered by 40V Max Li-ion XGT battery (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups, to deliver up to 6,600 rpm for faster grinding.
The GA038GZ07 is equipped with a large paddle type switch lever with lock-off function to minimise accidental start-up, anti-restart function to minimise motor starting up when the battery is inserted with the switch locked on, tool-less wheel cover and spindle lock for easy wheel changes, electronic current limiter and battery guard to protect the battery from damages.
