Introducing XGT, a new 40V standalone system; with a new charging adapter to allow the new 40V XGT platform to use the DC40RA charger to charge both LXT slide type battery and the new XGT battery, in as little as 28 minutes.
The XGT range of tools and batteries have a built-in program that provides digital communication between the battery and the tool, allowing for the battery not only to talk with the tool but also for the tool to talk to the battery.

The RS002GZ is a cordless 260mm Circular Saw, powered by 40V Max Li-ion XGT battery (not included) to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups, to deliver up to 4,000 rpm for powerful, fast cutting and ripping.
The RS002GZ is equipped with lock-off 2 stage safety trigger and electric brake for increased operator safety, magnesium die cast base with a rear handle and TCT saw blade for fast cutting.
The RS002GZ has a large bevel and cutting capacity with a positive stop at 22.5 degrees and 45 degrees and 95mm maximum cutting depth to enable single-pass cutting of a 4x lumber.
