I’ve been taking drum lessons via Zoom and while the sound quality was okay with the laptop mic, I wanted something better. A quick Google search of top-rated USB Mics listed the Marantz right up there and at a reasonable price. The first one worked fine for 30 minutes then died. Returning it was super easy at a Kohls drop-off kiosk. Amazon shipped out a replacement mic before I returned the defective one!

War eigentlich nur ein Test, da ich bei Videokonferenzen immer ein Thema mit dem Ton hatte. Also ein “richtiges” Mikrofon gekauft. Seither ist das kein Thema mehr… Umgebungsgerusche gebe ich so gut wie nicht wieder. Offene Fenster, die fr mich laut sind, stren nicht in der bertragung.
Nebenbei machen die Kinder jetzt Ihre eigenen CDs.
Je ne lui ai pas trouv de dfaut: solide, excellente qualit du micro et de la sortie mini-jack, ce qui me suffit amplement pour mon usage personnel (enregistrements, calls (MS Teams/webex/Slack) etc). a fait office d’une carte son en USB en quelque sorte ;-). Mme le trpied m’a l’air trs solide aussi. Je le recommande sans hsitation!

Never liked my recorded voice until my German technian recomended that I try this for conference broadcasting and recording. Even though it is a bit chunking, quality is sturdy. The mute/cough botton is so important!
Anche se “solo” a 48KHz questo microfono mi ha stupito.
L’ho comprato principalmente per praticit.
Difatti si collega e in pochi secondi pronto ad essere utilizzato.Ha anche l’ingresso cuffie davvero molto comodo.Ma pi di tutto mi ha stupito quanto sia pulito l’audio.Non si sente il Fruscio.Anche a compararlo con microfoni pi costosi la differenza minima.
Soprattutto se si pensa che la capsula di 14 mm.
Davvero un ottimo prodotto.
Non un microfono da studio.Potete registrare/trasmettere a 48KHz 16 bit.
Se volete avere una qualit pi professionale sicuramente dovrete guardare altri microfoni con una buona scheda audio annessa.

J’ai achet ce micro pour amliorer le son de mes formations en ligne. Je n’ai pas tellement d’lments de comparaison car c’est mon premier micro. Je m’attendais un meilleur son encore mais c’tait gourmand de ma part car aprs tout il vaut trs bien son prix. Le son est propre, il est abordable et facile utiliser. Il remplit les critres les plus important pour moi

I’m been using this with an acoustic drum kit for recording submissions for graded drum exams, and the audio quality captured is excellent. It’s very easy to balance the mic for the dynamics of a full drum kit.

This mike was bought to cover my online classes. It basically works in a tandem with Boss GT-1000 Core, both plugged into my computer through the usb. There are no issues and the sound quality is good enough to be heard by my students. It’s also easy to set up and doesn’t require any special drivers for working on Zoom in Windows environment.
This is my second Marantz microphone and it doesn’t disappoint. Sound quality is well-rounded and clients have been impressed with the results. Excellent piece of kit for home recording.

I produce a podcast every week and need a good microphone. This one does the job well with good sound quality. For the price it’s excellent value for money.
Nada que ver con micrfonos baratos chinos ni de los que incluyen algunos auriculares… Calidad sobresaliente ms que de sobras para un uso semi-profesional: voz clara y cristalina, recoge bien todos los tonos de la msica sin distorsiones, etc. Adems se puede poner el “mute” y subir o bajar el volumen a nuestra conveniencia, tambin incorpora entrada de micro para conectarlo directamente.
Ya he realizado varias grabaciones, he estado jugando un rato con l y sinceramente es muy buena compra, he trabajado con otras marcas y con precios muy superiores y me costara diferenciar cual es la grabacin de cada uno, as que de 10!. Todos los artculos de esta marca son sobresalientes…

Die Qualitt des Mirkfons ist fr den Preis meiner Meinung nach unschlagbar. Mit dem Rode NT-USB konkurriert es jedoch nicht.
Fr einfache Sprachaufnahmen, zur Verstndigung in Discord, TeamSpeak oder Teams jedoch perfekt solange man einen geringen Abstand zum Mikrofon hat.
Das Grundrauschen ist in den meistens sehr gering.
Auch Gesang lsst sich mit dem Mirkrofon gut aufnehmen.
Ich hatte Marantz als Marke nie auf dem Schirm, erst durch Videos auf YouTube als ich versucht habe mich in das Thema Mikrofon zum guten Preis zu erkundigen hrte ich davon. – Sie konnte mich sofort berzeugen. Meine Erwartungen wurden deutlich bertroffen.
So the mic itself is great. My only concern now is that if Marantz can’t get their own site working properly, what if something happens and I need support? I can code and I can fix the heck out of a computer, but I don’t know squat about audio equipment, I’m a beginner. The mic seems quality, so hopefully I never have to find out.
TLDR – The mic seems awesome, I’d recommend it any day. Marantz though seems like they’d been a pain to deal with if I ever had to.
This is a great quality USB mic with plenty of volume, glad I went for this than the cheaper Behringer which can be a bit quiet according to the reviews. It doesn’t come with a stand, just a clip to attach to a mic stand, and it’s quite thick heavy, so you’ll need a fairly sturdy stand. Tip: it comes with 2 adaptors to adjust the thread to fit different mic stands. I thought mine wasn’t going to fit, then I realised that I needed to unscrew the silver thread adaptor from the main mic for it to screw on to my mic stand. I already had the stand so didn’t miss having it in the box, but if the non-USB version comes with a stand, I don’t see why this one shouldn’t too.

Ich bin leidenschaftlicher streamet geworden und zum streamen geht ein gutes Mikrofon. Lang hab ich mir Gedanken gemacht welches ich wohl nehmen soll. Ein usb Mikrofon musste es fr mich sein und dann kam mir das Marantz MPM 2000U ber den Weg. Ich hab es seit 2 Monaten im Gebrauch und es hrt sich einfach klasse an wie ein richtiges Studio Mikrofon. Es ist Plug and Play, meines Erachtens nach gibt es kaum ein besseres Mikrofon in dieser Preisklasse.
Habe das Mikrofon als Geschenk besorgt aber zuvor selbst angeschlossen und getestet. Ich bin kein Fachmann, habe allerdings schon viele Headsets und USB-Mikrofone genutzt.
Der Klang ist Klasse und Hintergrundgerusche (und vor allem Gerusche die hinter dem Mikrofon passieren) sind kaum bis gar nicht zu hren.
Das Mikrofon wird fr Video-Konferenzen, Voice-Over/ -Recording und Discord/ Skype genutzt. Der aufgenommene Ton klingt sehr natrlich und voll.
Wrde es wieder holen, sollte ich selbst ein neues USB-Mikrofon bentigen.

The mic is quite small for one of this type but the build quality is wonderful, all metal body construction and the sound is great at just 44:00 it is super value.
This is the first USB mic I’ve used and I’m using it to replace my Rode NT1A that I was using with a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 as it takes less space in my laptop case.

So easy to use just plug into USB port and away you go. Very good sound quality with no preamp noise. The supplied usb lead is long and of good quality. ok it doesn’t have headphone monitoring gain etc on the amp, but that means it is more simple with less to go wrong. I spent weeks ( I’m a bit sad) deciding what to get and I am glad I got this. I use it to record my acoustic guitar and my vocals. I record without any modification I feel this is what I have to do as this is exactly what an audience will hear when I perform… Bad or good!
For the 49 I paid for the basic no-accessories supplied version, I really can’t fault this. It is a very nicely made, sturdy microphone with excellent sensitivity and being USB it is plug and play with laptops and desktop computers. I did buy a small 9-99 tripod and spent a similar amount on a cheap pop shield because I use this to record voice overs and online lectures. Still the total outlay came to less money than the equivalent Rode microphone. I have found the microphone to be great for my intended use – YouTube videos, audio voice overs and recording lectures. Crystal clear. I’ve knocked off just one star because I have found the recordings to be just a little bit bass-heavy and it does not come with any kind of audio mixer/recording app so if I wanted to adjust the frequency response and am using Win 10 I would have to buy an audio recording mixer app. I can compare this to the Rode NT USB, as I have one of those at work. I would say the Rode is better in terms of what it is supplied with, and the recordings are a little better in terms of sensitivity and neutrality/frequency response. The Rode recordings are a bit ‘colder’ whereas the Marantz records voice with a bit more warmth – not necessarily a bad thing. Overall, super value and I was really pleasantly surprised by both build quality and performance. Just remember, if, like me, you go for the cheapest 49 package without accessories, go for a tripod and pop shield if you intend to use this on a table/desk for voice work.
Seriously good microphone. It’s slightly quieter than other microphones but it’s super easy to fix by turning up the gain. I bought this to replace my Hyperx Quadcast and that one is super bassy compared to this mic, the Marantz is much clearer and more accurate to real life. Very happy with my purchase.
This is a great mike for the price. It gives me the flexibility to broadcast music straight onto Zoom without having to go through an audio interface. Sound quality is very similar to the Yeti, but doesn’t have the options of gain control and recording modes. If you just want a simple cardoid mode with good sound quality, this will do nicely.
Dopo aver tentato la fortuna con altri microfoni usb, con miseri risultati, sono finalmente approdato al Marantz MPM-2000U e devo dire che sono finalmente soddisfatto.
La prima cosa da sottolineare la qualit del pre-amplificatore integrato nel microfono. Non si avverte alcun rumore/fruscio di fondo, di alcun tipo! Veramente eccellente, soprattutto considerata la fascia di prezzo per un microfono USB. Inoltre il microfono ha un impronta estremamente piacevole, calda ma non “colorata”. Ed essendo un microfono di tipo cardioide decisamente sensibile e capace di catturare il suono con nuance. A questo proposito mi sento di consigliare l’acquisto di una retina (pop filter) senza la quale molto probabile che registriate dei picchi se siete troppo vicini al microfono, proprio perch molto sensibile.
Nonostante la sua sensibilit, grazie al tipo di polarit cardioide il microfono si distingue inoltre anche per la capacit di rigettare i rumori ambientali circostanti.
Inoltre trovate nella scatole lo shock mount, discretamente solido e con una vite a farfalla che permette di fissare efficacemente il microfono nella posizione che pi preferite, e una valigetta che, sebbene non sia niente di fenomenale, senza dubbio funzionale e pratica.
Secondo me per il prezzo (89 al momento) veramente un ottimo affare. Un microfono entry level di tutto rispetto non c’ che dire, da acquistare senza troppi pensieri.
I purchased this as an upgrade to an old headset. The feedback I keep hearing over and over is the sound is “studio quality”. That’s good enough for my use. I appreciate the quality feel. It is not a plastic body. The case is a nice touch. Overall I am quite happy.
A great microphone, it has hugely improved the quality of vocal recordings compared to the passive dynamic unidirectional mic in use previously. Worth the purchase price.
We are using it with a desk mounted boom stand so the mic can be hung upside down at about eye level.
Not all the reviews were unanimously great when I researched this microphone before I bought it, but I have to say I am impressed. It was plug and play and it sounds great. I have it hanging overhead from a boom arm and I don’t like to too near my mouth but despite that, the sound was perfect and nice and deep. The case it comes in is sturdy. I will never use it again, but if you had to travel with this mic, the case will be more than up to it.
My only wish would be for the USB cable to be a little bit longer, but it really isn’t a deal breaker. I’m very pleased with this mic.

Der Frequenzbereich ist sehr gro und die Ergebnisse sind im Vergleich zu gnstigeren (tw. NoName) Mikrofonen wirklich besser. Ich kann das 2000U-er Mikrofon uneingeschrnkt empfehlen.

To start with, you have to differentiate that there is also an xlr cable version of this and being a usb connection does not affect audio quality but limits the amount of modification that can be done outside the equalizer in the PC. Sound is crisp, honest and clean, more sensitive in the high end and does not particularly register much in the low end but can be remedied with a third party equalizers.
Build is good and solid, has a certain reassuring heft to it.
Does not come with stand or a shock-absorbing cradle so definitely will pick up table taps and keystrokes and mouse clicks.
It does the job and is a decent alternative to the Yeti and Elgato options especially if you don’t feel like investing too much on equipment at the moment; however, with enough tinkering, this can also become your endgame mic.

I got this to use for Discord gaming. I am very happy with it; as it replaced my old Corsair headset which was terrible. The sound quality is good and it was quite affordable. I’m glad I bought it.
Was the first mic I bought when I started casting, and despite buying a bunch of XLR mics and mixers, I keep returning to it because of the crispness of the sound, and – depending on where it’s situated – the lack of noise. Whilst it’s frustrating not to have the same mixing options for USB mics as XLR’s without insane money on a USB mic mixer, it’s a powerful mic with excellent pickup (I have a nursery behind my house and when the kids are out, the people I’m talking to think I have a kids party in my back garden). The USB cable is long and flexible (it’s the same as a printer USB cable) which is of massive benefit as one of the few issues is if space is limited, the microphone can pick up residual buzz from proximity to a PC itself, so try to keep it away from that as best you can.
I don’t recommend any desk stand being a foot stand, they are prone to toppling because, unlike XLR’s, it’s a heavy bit of kit, so you’ll spend some time working on the positioning. It may be worth investing in a desk stand with a ring base. or a floor or g-clamp stand.
None of this is a criticism of the mic itself which is excellent value for money and a great quality mic for new casters/streamers.
So, for those wondering about sound quality. It sounds great for the price. I haven’t really used anything over a budget of 50 but this definitely is better than the likes of the snowball. Anyways, over all, good build quality, good sound and it works best with a mic arm.

This microphone could not have been made a few years back. The combination of being a condenser model coupled with some obviously advanced electronics all provides a smooth, wide, low distortion sound with no background hum. The audio output is also just about at the right level.
Unconditionally recommended for all amateurs and quite a few professionals, too.

A nivel de sensibilidad, a 4-5 metros sin tener que ponerme a gritar capta la voz y se entiende perfectamente lo que digo, por lo que a mi ver tiene mucha sensibilidad. Es lo que buscaba.
Pesa, el cuerpo del micrfono se le nota solido, metalico, la rejilla del diafragma, dura, buena calidad.
I have not used this mic for gaming so I can’t comment on that. I normally don’t bother with feedback but because it has taken me a while to find the right mic at a reasonable price, I thought I might help others in making a decision. I do youtube maths tutorials and have always had problem with hissing and other background noises, with this mic…I just opened it, plugged, and booom……clear sound no noise whatsoever..I am now looking forward to hearing my clear voice, thank you Marantz for this nice little gadget 🙂

As I’m using this microphone for online music lessons it’s difficult to assess the sound quality myself although my pupils tell me it’s an improvement on the laptop mic – which it should be!
Maeantz is a well-established comany and that’s why I purchased this mike. Very satisfied.
I watched a lot of review videos for this before I purchased it and ultimately I am very happy with it, quality in terms of build and sound is excellent.
I would probably class this price range as mid in terms of cost but I definitely think you get some high end quality with this which makes it exceptional value for money in my opinion.
Obviously it’s missing some features of other high end mic’s such as manual gain control on the mic and direct monitoring, but I think if your somebody that needs that sort of stuff then your going to be happy paying the extra to have those features.
Included shock mount is nice and overall very easy to setup and use.
LOVE this microphone!! Bought this for recording radio shows at home and was genuinely surprised at the quality. I knew it would be good – I used Marantz equipment at Uni – but I’m blown away.
Strong build quality, good weight to it and sounds lovely on playback. My voice is quite high and it brings a lovely low end to it. My bedroom is no studio but there’s very little in the way of background noise or reverb. Love it!!

Il microfono installa i suoi driver automaticamente, basta collegarlo, aspettare due minuti e siete apposto. Se avete problemi assicuratevi essere connessi a internet con il pc.

The Marantz is fantastic. I’ve just this minute set it up, it’s not as sensitive as the Rode but the tone is warm and smooth, it’s hiding room reverb – in fact I had the window open and with the mic inside my isoball, i hadn’t realised.
For me it is a bargain – the best value audiobook mic I’ve found.

I have used this a few times to record my Alto Saxophone practice and is fine,the only thing I would have liked would have been a desk stand and I know it did not show it on the advertising photos. I think a stand is supplied on the larger model it would have been nice to have supplied one on MPM-1000U. I would still recommend this Microphone

Most of the reviewers only sung it praise, and from listening to the audio recordings it captured, I decided to jump in and give it a try.
The audio quality is amazing. It seems very good at picking up sound directly ahead of it and cancelling out noise further away (If you want it to do that).
At the same time, it can pick up absolutely everything if you want it to.
The quality of the product is great also.
Don’t let the price fool you. This thing easily stands up next to the more well known brands, and in most cases is better.

Nachdem wir mit einer 8’er Gewindestange ( 10 ist zu gro, 8 zu klein ) , etwas Isolierband ( um das Gewinde auszugleichen ) und einem Holzbrett, erstmal einen provisorischen Stnder gebastelt haben, konnte es dann direkt losgehen.
Der Win10-PC hat das Mikro sofort erkannt, und die anfngliche Enttuschung wechselte zu echter Begeisterung.
Was meinen Sohn an seinem alten Mikro immer gestrt hat – ein leichtes Hintergrundrauschen – war nicht mehr wahrzunehmen. Die Aufnahmequalitt ist super und tonecht.
Richtig guten Aufnahmen fr den Youtube-Profi steht nun nichts mehr im Wege 😉
Fr den Preis kann man nur eine klare Kaufempfehlung geben !

Easy to use plug and play via usb
Purchased this mic a few months ago, and I love it. It sounds super crisp and everyone who talks to me over Discord mentions that it legitimately sounds like I’m directly in front of them.
Even if I’m across the room, they can tell where I’m standing due to the mic picking up the proper direction.
It does pick around quite a bit of background noise (mechanical keyboard, mouse clicks) if I hang it up above my head, but if I have it rightside up, it does a good job of drowning out the keyboard and mouse clicks
Also whilst dynamic mics will most certainly provide a better audio quality for voice, I also need the mic for other types of recording and for my PC I needed a simple setup rather than a more convoluted non-usb cable driven system with pre-amp.
The reviewers of this mic are correct that it is slightly more ‘tinny’ for voice due to it being a compressor mic with higher frequency pickup, but it’s still infinitely better for voice than a standard 3.5mm jack.
The build quality is fantastic, with a pop filter it’s sublime and the installation is instantaneous. Plug it in, 5 seconds later…. done. That’s it.
It comes with an appropriate holder for any mic stand you might want to use.
It is not a dynamic mic so isn’t a totally robust unit. You’ll want to use it from a fixed location so won’t really be suitable for taking around the room to switch between computers etc. Equally you’re not going to need a mortgage to replace it if you drop it.
It will pick up EVERYTHING in the room, but the volume is relative so don’t think the mice in the walls are going to drown you out on Discord. If you like your privacy though on voice chat, you can use push to talk.
For the price they are selling at they are some of the best USB mics currently out on the market, with great reporduction on the mid and high tones and slightly (but not too much) less production on the lower bass tones compared to other mics which are double the cost of this.
It is a cardiod mic as well and does a fairly decent job of getting rid of the noises coming from the back or extreme sides of the mic. Everything looked great, shock mount, hard carrying case, directional pick-up, USB hook-up, so i bought it (MPM-2000U)
I was NOT disappointed, the sound is crisp ,loud & most of all very clear,i use it mostly on my Discord Channel & eveyone loves the sound of it.
I also bought the Boom arm, & the Pop shield. what a GREAT purchase, the price was the best i have seen 4 a mic of this caliber.

I mainly use these as a headset mic replacement for gaming, and everyone mentions the quality they hear me at.
I used to have a basic SteeleSeries headset mic that sounded like a old radio in a can.
I highly recommend this mic, I also make a bit of music and I cannot even imagine using my headset again.
The design is also great and has a bit of weight to it, definitely adds to the quality.
This is a studio-grade microphone. Mostly noticed feature of it is its low noise level. Easy to install and simple to use. Highly recommended to those who are keen on doing voiceover at home.
Blocks out all background noise perfectly. Only seems to pick up slight keyboard tapping.
This Marantz audio pro mic is the dope! I would recommend avoiding lesser known brands and sticking with this reliable brand. Audio quality is excellent. To avoid clicks, smacks and other undesired sounds follow the advice you can easily find online (stay hydrated, keep your distance from the mic, get a pop screen, and post process to optimize). NOTE that your best bet is to *avoid* the undesired sounds at the time of recording (don’t assume you can post-process your way out of a crappy recording, hence recommendation to this mic and get a pop filter).
I grew up with Marantz hi-fi stereo equipment (yes! that generation) …. 30 years later my dad still uses that same Marantz equipment on his home multi-deck stereo because it’s first class and indestructible equipment. (My dad is a gifted musician and passionate consumer of music). I did some *serious* comparative analysis of audio recording equipment and am SO glad I purchased this!
So glad to see that Marantz continues to put out first-rate equipment; I can’t recommend this mic more strongly. Construction is impeccable, 16-bit converter, and priced for pro’s and beginners alike ($53 for the 2000U at time of this review – I paid twice that and still considered it a great deal). Note I would recommend the 2000U version for anyone even vaguely serious about (a) generating a high-quality audio recording and (b) reducing post-processing time and effort.

Very delighted with this microphone (though I returned it after learning about XLR stuff). Despite the fact you’re paying for both a microphone and an embedded preamp (to boost the signal to audible levels), both are really good for the price and there’s not a lot of noise to be found.
I would say you get the same frequency response as an MXL 770, they both feel warm).
That said, there are a number of features I feel would benefit this mic. A gain control knob, along with a mute button, a direct monitor headphone jack would go a long way.
In addition, it’s a USB mic, and any USB mic will have the actual mic itself, along with a preamp built in. This means you’re only partially paying for the mic unit, and the rest is going to the preamp. While it’s not bad in this case, it’s advisable to get a dedicated preamp/audio interface and get an XLR microphone (Marantz makes an XLR mic known as the MPM-1000 [without the ‘U’] that you should look at) as it is far more modular and serviceable than a rigid USB mic.
tl;dr: Microphone itself is good, but lacks features and its USB limits its future-proofing
Le packaging est plutt simple, mais ca marche trs bien, on a l’essentiel : le micro, un cable, un pas de vis pour la compatibilit selon les perches de micro, et une petite housse de protection pour l’emmener partout.
Ct utilisation, j’aime beaucoup, le son est trs claire est trs audible. La retranscription est bonne, autant pour les voix que pour les instruments. Des basses prsentent mais qui ne dborde pas sur le reste et un spectre assez large.
Esthtiquement, il est sobre, entirement en mtal mate c’est trs plaisant.
Ct connectique c’est du USB, trs pratique pour l’utiliser sur n’importe quel ordinateur.
En bref, il convient parfaitement la gamme laquelle il appartient. Foncez !
Sounds and works amazing! You definitely can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a budget friendly and/or just a solid mic. I was only disappointed to have received it in the original packaging without a protective box and order confirmation paper.
Amasing totally worth the money, the sound quality is clear and crisp and no backgroud noise, perfect for its purpose
Using it with Windows 10 and had no problems; all apps recognise it . As many people say, USB microphone levels in Windows 10 are very low, that is an issue. I have this set at 95% to get a decent level, but the sound is still clean.
It does not have any controls or indicators like volume, etc. For me this is an advantage – fewer things to go wrong: If it is plugged in, it is on, that’s it.
Jetzt auch ich (zumindest was dieses Mikro betrifft), mit zwei kleinen Einschrnkungen:
1.) Das Mikro hat keinen An-/Aus-Schalter. Das nervt unglaublich, da es den Schall sehr sensibel und weitreichend aufnimmt und man es nicht einfach stumm schalten kann. Das mu man dann ber die Lautsprecher-Steuerung des PCs machen; eine wahre Mausklick-Orgie jedesmal
2.) Es arbeitet leider nicht mit meinem Behringer USB-Audio-Interface zusammen. Ich benutze Cubase Elements 9.0. Immer wenn ich das Programm starte und habe beide Devices aktiv, geht das USB-Mikro aus und ist parallel zum USB-Interface in Cubase nicht betreibbar. Es geht nur entweder – oder. Das sind wirklich zwei echte Wermutstropfen.
Es ndert aber nichts an dem sehr guten und, wie ich finde, sehr natrlich klingenden Sound von diesem Teil. Das entschdigt dann doch wieder.

I have purchased an extra desk clamp stand and shock mount, as well as a mic mounted pop filter, which not only looks professional and good, but also sounds the part too, which is the most important thing!

After spending the best part of 2 weeks deciding between XLR or USB, I decide to go USB due to my love for minimal cables and not wanting the added peripherals. Then, it took another 3 weeks to decide on the mic.
I watched reviews on near enough every one of the main go to USB mics, and then I stumbled across this little beauty. It lacks the functions of the yeti. It doesn’t have 0 latency monitoring. In fact it doesn’t do much. It’s literally just a mic. No mute buttons, not even an LED. But it does being a mic oh so well. It’s warm, rich and full bodied in sound. It has probably the most quiet pre amp of USB mics I’ve heard. It doesn’t pick up too much background noise due to a beautiful polar pattern and it does a great job of staying fairly neutral in sound. Now, the downside is the mic shock mount feels very part of 3 pound. The case is meh at best with nothing seeming to fit properly and inless you sit 2 foot away from the mic you’re going to need a pop filter.
For the price, it’s grea however, be warned it is currently selling for 27 pounds on the Amazon US site. There’s more expensive, worst sounding mics out there. The shock mount could be better. The case is an added bonus. But once you start recording with it you won’t care. It just let’s you sound like yourself, and that’s all I ask for out of a mic.
You could also use this mic as a studio mic in a room for vocals and any other musical intrument, I beatbox into it, without the windshield it does pick up a lot of air, but with the Windshield which only costs a Couple Pounds it sounds amazing, it picks up virtually no breath. Considering my last mic was a Samson Go Mic i have had for 5 years and that picked up quite a lot of background but it was still good, this makes my mic game go on another level.

Meine Wahl viel hier auf auf das Marantz Professional MPM-2000U Mikrofon. Nach etwas Recherche und ausgiebigen Vergleichen habe ich mich gegen die anderen Mikrofone unter hundert Euro entschieden. Es sollte etwas besser sein als Auna, aber nicht so teuer wie die Rode Mikrofone.
Erster Eindruck:
Der erste Eindruck ist sehr positiv. Es wird ein kleiner Plastik-Koffer mit dem Mikrofon, der Mikrofonspinne und einem langen USB-Kabel geliefert. Das Mikrofon selbst ist sehr robust und hochwertig verarbeitet. Mich hat das Gewicht etwas berrascht, da es deutlich schwerer ist als erwartet. Das Mikrofongehuse ist aus Metall gefertigt und im schlichtem schwarz gehalten. Die Inbetriebnahme war ein Kinderspiel. Einfach anschlieen und fertig. Es wurde berall erkannt. Nicht nur unter Windows, selbst unter Linux luft es problemlos. Es wurde sofort erkannt, ohne Treiberinstallation und konnte umgehend verwendet werden.
Die Aufnahme ist der Hammer! Der Klang ist absolut rein, sehr klar und besonders voll. Ich musste die Aufnahme wegen Hintergrundrauschen nicht nachbearbeiten, da die Qualitt absolut spitze ist. Die Aufnahme hrt sich wie bei einem Radiomoderator an. Ziel erreicht!
Vorteile:
+ Hochwertig verarbeitetes Mikrofon. Es in einem Metallgehuse und daher sehr robust gefertigt.
+ Inklusive gut verarbeiteter Mikrofonspinne
+ Der Klang ist klar und voll.

Das Marantz Professional MPM-2000 U ist ein extrem gutes Mikrofon. Es ist ein bisschen teuerer als die Auna Mikrofone, aber deutlich gnstiger als die Rode Mikrofone. Es ist jeden einzelnen Euro wert. Der Klang ist klar, rein und absolut voll. Eine Nachbearbeitung des Hintergrund-Rauschens war nicht notwendig. Die Aufnahmen hren sich an, als wrden sie aus einem professionellem Tonstudio kommen. Ich kann das Marantz- Mikrofon jedem weiterempfehlen.
