I bought this as my teenagers love Monopoly and I thought this would be something they would enjoy but was a different take on the main game.
The aim of the game is very similar to the normal Monopoly but you have cheat cards and everyone playing at some point tries to get away with cheating. If you succeed you are rewarded, get caught and you have to put the handcuffs on – beware one of the cheat cards is to get out of the handcuffs without others seeing so make sure the player with the on keeps their hands on the table.
Talking about the handcuffs, by the third time we played we were fed up of putting them on and removed the cheat card for them and left them in the box.
The game is okay but I don’t know where it was because we are all super vigilant, there were only four of us playing or what but no-one got away with cheating, plus with five cheats at anyone time to remember, everyone kept on forgetting what was written on the cards and spend a lot of time going over them again.
The lads have now gone back to playing the normal version and this one has been sat in the cupboard for the last few months untouched.
A novelty in my house but it didn’t last and the original is preferred.
Absolutely fantastic especially if no one likes to follow the rules and like to cheat honestly my kids played this for hours we we’re roaring with laughter it’s definitely one to ow
The old game redesigned for primary age children. Great game to play with the grandchildren- makes them read a little, count a little, learn rules, take turns… eventually they can graduate to the original game!
A little must have. My 4 year old son play daily. Great first kids monopoly game
A really interesting take on the original monopoly, really cool that there are no rules and that the objective is to cheat and get away with it. Had great fun with it when the original gets boring now and the
Great for kids, 5yr and 8yr old love this game and ask for it repeatedly
I love playing this game, it’s really fun and it’s different from any other monopoly games out there. It makes monopoly more exciting! I would recommend this version!
Paid a really good price & 5 year old loves the game – simple enough to keep her engaged but interesting enough for the adults too.
Not my choice of game but the kids love it. Keeps you going
he games’ tools are in good quality. with multiple tools and instructions.
My family loves playing different variations of the monopoly and this game was no different. Provides a new way to play with the jail feature and the mischievous challenges. Was a lot of fun.
Lovely little game in introduce to younger children. There isn’t much scope for it to be made harder as the kiddies grow so will have to buy the adult version earlier than I wanted too. And it’s a bit big for taking camping or anything like that. But is a lot of fun and a good and simple concept for little kids.
Great classic game made more simple for kids. The money is thin black and white paper which I’m not sure will stand the test of time in a kids board game. My 6 year old loves playing this
Great little game. Our 5 year old plays it happily. The basic instructions are for a good fun completely luck-based (roll of the dice) game, however there are further rule suggestions included in the manual that you can add to build on the basic rules as your child gains confidence and for variation. A basic game lasts only 15-30 minutes and our kids stayed engaged from start to finish.
We absolutely love this game, my kids love it! They love to buy loads and bankrupt me! It’s fantastic. Would highly recommend
Great, fast version of the game. My son loves it. Would be a good idea if Hasbro included a way of storing the cards/money/discs as they are a pain to organise each time you play. Asides that, a great produc
Good for my 4 year old but my 8 year old gets bored.
The item was brought as a gift so it is all sealed. It looks good and I hear it’s great to play.
Perfect for a competitive family who will always try to pull a fast one if possible. The cheats are endless and as ever with true Monopoly fans you can add your own rules and idiosyncrasies.
Attempt at getting my almost 5 year old to sit still and play games… It worked!! She wants to play it every day. Working on her maths with the 1 bills, counting with the pieces and dice… Need to work on her not winning however as daddy doesn’t like to loose either
Simplified game, easy to play and can be played quickly – no more 3hr games ending in divorce!
Bought for my 7 year old son for Christmas. He loves it, the rules are different to adult monopoly but are easy to understand. Each game lasts around 30 minutes so doesn’t take too long to play. Bargain price of 5 in black Friday sale
It is a good first monopoly set. The only thing that could be a bit better is the currency noted which are too thin and sticking to each other hence and not too easy for a toddler to handle.
Takes some getting used to learning all the new tasks while trying to play. We play in a large group and it takes plenty of time to figure it out.
Good choice as the little ones found monopoly a bit complicated. This was well received. Mum and dad enjoy it too. Great for family time.
Great version of the game. Much quicker to complete than the adult version, which is ideal. Great fun!
This game has help my son to count things better than before. Good game to play but also good for development (simple maths). I would highly recommend it.
I bought this as a gift for 5 year old after my son had it for Christmas (he’s also 5).
We’ve played it together a couple of times and they’ve done a fantastic job of simplifying an old classic for a younger audience.
There are only 1 notes and the rent for each property is the same as the price to buy printed on the board, so no property cards. There are also no houses/hotels, if a player owns a full set the rent is doubled.
These adjustments not only make it easy to play, but much quicker too! We average around 25 mins a game, and that’s with my son’s inability to keep still, so could probably be finished much faster, especially if you add more players.
Fun game which will bring all the family around the table to play
Lovely take on and original game and loved that this came with metal pieces like the original and little red and green houses. Love the handcuff feature makes the game alot more interesting
bought this to play with our 6 year old granddaughter. although she can play the original monopoly this junior version was easy to play and lasted approx. 30-40 mins, so kept her interes
Bought this as a gift. And I have to say game nights now seem to end in arguments alot less than it used too.
It’s fun, well presented and bring it on.
NB not for the honest players out there
Excellent, my 4 and 6 year old love if and we play as a family and they play the two of them. I’d say it’s perfect for there are group. Simple for them to understand but enough to make them think
Purchased as an add on for a bargain 5, Greta value. Great game for little ones that doesn’t drag on forever like the original game. Highly recommend
Absolutely love it. Any Monopoly lover is gonna woop when they see this because it means now they will have people to play with again. Shorter, more interesting and funnier than standard monopoly when you’re not in it for the long haul.
Brought for grandchildren as normal monopoly a favourite, very different but grandchildren love it which is all that matters.
Fantastic game for the family. We laughed so much and spent quality time together. Only downside is you end up concentrating so much on cheating you forget to play the game properly!
Great game. We have played this lots over Christmas as a family and with friends children who have visited. It is simple and quick to play.
Bought whilst on deal as an add on to existing board games for new year. Turned out to be hilarious. We played as 7 adults and were in hysterics. The game itself takes a bit of getting used to as it is different to original monopoly- there are no houses, train stations aren’t for sale etc. However the cheating element is hilarious. In our case it wasn’t only the usual suspects that we expected would try cheating but also some of the quieter ones no one would suspect. I think the more people playing the better, as the cheating aspect is easier to achieve. Yet to play with only a couple of people.
Didn’t expect this version of children’s monopoly to be so much fun.
Good quality packaging, item arrived on time.
We spent hours playing it with 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 8.
Was the first time introducing them to this, as felt the original monopoly wouldn’t appeal to them.
This is a good introduction to the original monopoly.
Really fun and easy to play.
Can’t believe how good a game this is for little ones! My children are 6 and 4 and they really understood how to play it. We’ve played it loads together and now they know how to play it just them two.
It’s perfect for children. It’s their favourite board game.
Christmas present for a 13 year old (and family!) Played several times already and has been well praised, some people find it hard to cheat and others not so. Good game.
Played for first time in years, brought a gift for my boyfriend. Its controlled cheating not just a free for all. Had good fun and its quick, not just endless like old style monopoly. The handcuff thing in jail made it a bit of fun too.
Bought for grandsons 8th birthday, he loves it. He likes games, but this
We have played this so many times, stopped and gone back to it. A real fun game.
Purchased for a Christmas gift for my 5 year old niece.
I got it on Black Friday deals for five pounds!
What a bargain, she loves it , we all love playing monopoly with her.
Bargain all round!
Cheers Amazo
Bought as a family Christmas gift. We discovered very quickly that this game is designed for older children/ adults, my 12 year old found it difficult to grasp the concept of following the cheat cards.
Good for younger children, 2 and 5 year old. But a bit baby ish for older kids.
Interesting a bit more plays and we will get use to it but play with at least more than 4 players. It’s not like most games were two players are ok.
Fab game! Really simple to understand but with the essence of the original. My 5 year old loves it. Doesn’t drag on forever- a brilliant family game
Just played this for the first time, it’s so much fun trying to cheat from the cheat cards and it makes everyone very jumpy and distrustful but in a very fun way! I love the handcuff as well
This will be a present so not sure how good the game is. But from the box it looks fantastic. We enjoy these spin off monopoly games as they are generally quicker and a bit more fun! No more dreaded 4hours of back and forth!
We purchased this to do something as a family on the wet days when stuck indoors. We enjoy playing this and it helps children learn with counting. Classic board game which I played when I was a child.
Purchased for my sons birthday who is ten. A nice spin on a classic monopoly game.
Having been a fan of the original and always having at least 1 person cheat thought this game would be ideal. Has cards that add a new element and a fun way of trying to cheat your way to win.
The rules were easy to follow and it was a Good laugh for all the family.
I mean… as you can imagine, this caused A LOT of anger and tension between us. Definitely more than an ordinary game of monopoly. But other than that it was very enjoyable.
Wow this game is so fun but beware playing with your spouse or friends…you will see a new side of people!!!!
This version is completely set up for cheating, the chance and community chest cards give you bonuses and each player is in charge of the bank on their turn! You have 5 cheat quests open on the board which get replaced when someone either manages to cheat or get caught!
The board handcuffs are a nice touch, as are the playing pieces!
It’s been a lot of fun and we will be bringing it out at game nights in the furture!
As always, an excellent quality product from Hasbro but not for the feint-hearted. This game takes being competetive to a whole new level and if you are a sore loser be aware that tempers will fray! We all love a game and we all like to win fair and square. We get annoyed if somebody cheats, right? In this game cheating is what it’s all about and it’s allowed! Our (very competetive) family fell out with each other within the first five minutes – kids and adults alike. It took a couple of days to make up. Hilarious!
Avoid at family Christmas gatherings etc., unless you truly want a divorce
This is a great product, it was better value to buy online and have it delivered than to pay a slightly higher price in stores. The game is what it says on the box, all the parts are in great condition and the handcuff jail element is a great addition. Highly recommend.
This is really good for young ones to join in with. My little boy got this as a Christmas present. He loves it. The box isn’t too big which means it’s easy to transport and to store. The counters are lovely and my little boy insists on sometimes just playing with them only. Recommended!
Lovely graphics and pawns. Good classic game. Not too hard. My 6yo will play it. My 3yo’s attention span is too short for it, though. The bills are made of plain, thin paper sheets. I recommend you laminate them. I did, along with the chance cards, because I want the kids to be able to play this game for many years to come.
Our family love board games and this was the one we chose to purchase last Christmas. Simple rules as with normal monopoly. 9 year old son found it just as easy to follow, however wasn’t as good at cheating as the grown ups! Pretty good game that we’ve played a fair few times, wouldn’t pay more than 15 though.
Great addition to Monopoly. You have five cards on the board with a cheat and if you carry out the cheat successfully you get rewarded. My daughter is the biggest cheat going so she loves this game
I purchased this game for my little brother for his 5th birthday. He absolutely loves playing it and he was able to understand the rules easily.
It’s truly great fun for the whole family and much easier for children to play in comparison to the full size monopoly board.
It’s well made and was purchased at a great price!
A very fun game but it gets boring very quickly. There are not many cheats you can do, once you know all the cheats the game can get boring. It’s great if you want to kill an hour or so
**at time of this review, I had asked family members their views and points as well.
Now is the time to tell you about Monopoly Cheaters Edition. I havent been too excited about this game in comparison to others of the Monopoly family. It was my 18yr old son that mentioned it as a Christmas present. So we saw the adverts, looked at the reviews and bought it.
So, its Monopoly with permissions. You can steal from the bank, each other etc. There are handcuffs that will either fit or not fit your wrist. Its nice that the chance cards and community chest cards have different “missions” now and the gameboard layout is good. It has a modernised feel to it.
We struggled to have 4 people sitting around it with their properties and money laid out in a manner that allows people to steal them as well as having to move the box around to each person for their turn. Just not the room and that really made it awkward if you had a mission to steal something from someone.
The other disappointing factor is that once all the properties are bought the game ends. So to make money to buy hotels is hard.
The best aspect of the game was watching people trying to and not trying to cheat. we had more fun accusing each other of cheating and paying the consequences if they hadnt of cheated.
For a laugh, its a good game. for serious Monopoly players, I feel they would be quite disappointed with this Editio
Bought this for my 8 year old grandson but it was far too young for him. I ended up giving my friends 5 year old daughter it for Christmas who loved it.
I have bought it for my son’s age 5 and 8 and they love playing this. It may be a bit too competitive for them and they get annoyed easily if loose but otherwise it’s a really nice enjoyable game with instructions not difficult to understand, even for children.
Brought as a gift for a 6 and 9 year old however they preferred to play the original ‘adult’ monopoly. However we still had fun.
Great game, we played this together one New Years Day. Caused a bit of an argument with the younger two who are 8 and 11 but then again they always argue in board games ! It was good fun for us adults though !!
Bought as part of christmas presents for my daughter. We enjoyed playing but couldn’t really get used to the new rules, going to have another go this weekend. Probably just us, worth a buy 🙂
If you love monopoly, you should add this version to the collection. It brings out your inner sneak, with rewards and consequences for being rule breakers. It’s really unique, especially with the handcuff you have to wear when in jail. It was a little confusing at first but once you understand the rules it’s just like any other monopoly game.
Brilliant game for little ones despite my 4 y old already being bored of it. It is pretty basic but helps with math for kids by counting the money and making simple calculations. I have now had to buy the adult version to get interest from family.
It’s ok, thought it was a novel idea, as my daughter generally cheats at monopoly, but you have to actually do the cheats on the cards. With her cheating as well, this became quite a tiresome game!!!
What I like most about this version is that it keeps everybody in the game at all times. With the original, you’re bored until it’s your turn again. But with this version, you’re having to keep an eye on everyone and make sure they’re not cheating! It adds a great extra layer of fun to the game which is a breath of fresh air. I would play this version before the original any day.
It’s a really good game a little hard to play with just two as you are both constantly on guard watching each other’s every move. With a few more of you it’s got potential to be really good big plus for us was it didn’t last hours like original monopoly the hand cuff definitely adds a fun factor. Me and my husband would recommend it.
A brilliant update to a game that has caused years of friction within families. The cheats can be totally game-changing. I was winning and then had over a million monopoly money stolen through a cheat. Hilarious! No-one needs to be bankrupt, you count all your most at the end. A much more positive method as there are no losers. Completely unpredictable. Good liars will do very well, and nice guys will finish last.
I brought this for my 7year old and l think the idea was good but it’s alittlw too junior as the money is 1 only with properties ranging from 1-5. The rent on the properties is also the same as the cost to buy them.
The game last slightly less time than the standard board game around 1hour for 3 of us,
My 3year old was a better age . I would say it’s more suitable for preschool/year one than older junior children.
Great family game, another item bought on a great Black Friday offer. Hours of fun playing with this game and great to play on teams etc with the whole family. Great item for family games night and I know I’ll get lots of use out of it.
Bought this on offer for my son’s Christmas Eve box and it’s been an absolute hit! It’s so nice to play something together rather than be isolated from him by his iPad!
The game is well thought out too. It’s much quicker paced than the adult version and much easier to follow.
As a family we are big monopoly fans but think this has to be the best by far! You need to be really sneaking and not take the game too seriously (as this could cause arguments) really fun to play I highly recommend this game.
Brilliant for kids but the old set we have is much better quality.
The property cards are very small. All the cards are made of very thin paper which will not last long. The game is more confusing than it should be as sometimes you are juggling trying to complete the challenge on a chance/community chest and cheat card all at the same time.
Things I did like – The game pieces are all metal and it includes wacky figures like a T-Rex and penguin. The handcuffs were great fun for the kids, even our dog ended up handcuffed at one point lol. Kids will love trying to pull off the cheats like sneaking out of jail or pinching money from the bank. Things they’d probably do anyway but wouldn’t get rewarded for.
One thing I hated was that the train stations are not for sale. They just act as fast tracks to the next station. My favourite part of Monopoly was trying to buy up the stations.
Great version of the adult game, much quicker, fun for all but still retains all the principles, the only difference is that you don’t buy houses. Some of the property names have also been updated for children. Really recommend, we have this ourselves and have given several as presents. Ideal from 4+
We are going to play this on christmas eve and are very excited to try it out. I’m a great lover of the trational monopoly y so hoping this is just as good and my 6 year old will have great fun. The box looks inviting and the product arrived in good time
Brilliant game with a heck of a twist. It’s quick fire, it’s rapid, you have to be on the ball to plan your chests, watch the cheaters. Makes you think outside the box love it.
Only wish they have a proper tray to store the cards and money when game finished
Bought in the Black Friday deal at a great price. Monopoly is one of the great board games and I remember as a child it was also quite complicated, especially when you play with different groups of people as everyone had their own rules!
Ths is a good starting point for kids to understand this great game and eventually to play the full size game.
I brought this for my 4 year old who loves board games, and we play it as a family. It is simple, easy and quick to set up and play. If anything it finishes too quickly and I seem to keep losing! If someone becomes bankrupt (usually me) the remaining players count up their money and see who is the winner – it doesn’t take into account the properties they may own which seems the only odd thing about it. I would have thought they would count too. They do if there is a draw regarding who has the most money, but it seems odd not to include them in the rule. It is colourful and a good way to get your children counting, what with the dice and money transactions. It is a quick game and quite small too.
Our family loves monopoly for family games nights, and we’re proud owners of various editions, and this has fast become one of our favourites, the aims are different, so it seems like less of a themed version of the usual game and more of a new game! Be warned, things can get loud in this game!
The aim is to cheat and get away with it without being caught, and several rule changes have occurred in this edition. It’s much shorter than the original game as the aim is for all the properties on the board to be owned and the game finishes there with the winner being the player with the most money/assets. If you don’t have all night to play, this is probably the better option for you. The chance cards and community chests have a number of twists now and there’s fewer properties to be owned on the board with the stations no longer being able to be owned and the obvious absence of the waterworks and electric. All in all though it’s a fun filled version where the players need to be more on the ball than ever!
Fantastic game that even cheaters struggle at. It was hilarious watching everyone squirm as it was so obvious they were cheating and then got caught and went to jail. But hard to explain the game in a review but you won’t be disappointed. The funny thing is the people who cheat in the original game struggle in this one so became sore losers
purchased as a present for a friends boys birthday him and his brothers love it a 7 year and an 8 year old , they didn’t find to hard to understand at all , may be they will be kind towards me when they grow up to be rich businessmen – I Hope
This “Cheaters Edition” Monopoly is a big hit with my wife, mainly because “It’s the only time I’ve ever beaten you at Monopoly”. I approached the game with some healthy skepticism, but soon found myself thoroughly enjoying it.
The game has a few variations on the standard Monopoly rules, making things a little simpler and faster.
Firstly, whilst most of the usual properties are present and correct, the stations are now warp points instead of properties, and you move to the next station when you land on them. A nice touch. Additionally there are some pricing changes: There’s a free property, another that comes with a free hotel, and yet another pitched at half price.
The “Community Chest” and “Chance” cards have seen some changes too, so as well as the classic “Go to Jail” and “Get Out of Jail Free” cards, there’s a “Celebrity” card to reverse the rent paid, when landing on a property. So if you land on someone else’s property while holding the card, they have to pay you to stay there. There are cards to halve the rent paid until the landlord pays to renovate the property, as well as a good selection of other, well chosen cards. Hasbro have done a good job freshening up the game, without losing the core of Monopoly in the process.
Additionally, when a player is sent to jail, they must wear a handcuff, which is a great idea.
There’s a neat twist to the cheater’s edition, in that you are rewarded for cheating, according to one of five cheat cards set out on the board. Payers are encouraged to steal property, move other players pieces, take extra money from the bank, remove the handcuff or one of a variety of other little cheats. If caught cheating by another player, the cheater must pay a forfeit fine. If the cheater gets away with the cheat, they get a reward. If falsely accused of cheating, the false accuser takes a forfeit. I thought this aspect of the game would spoil Monoply, but I have to admit it actually adds to the fun, and actually incorporates a lot of the informal dodgy behaviour I’ve seen playing regular Monopoly at home, into the game rules. Put simply, it all gels together beautifully!
Play time is a little shorter than usual Monopoly, with a two player game being able to be over in as little as half an hour, if luck is not on your side. (Much to my wife’s delight.) I think that’s actually a core part of the fun of this Cheaters Edition version of Monopoly, it’s weighted a little more to be affected by luck than regular Monopoly, and benefits from it.
The property cards are smaller than usual as they are arrayed around the edge of the board, and the notes have a unique “Shhh!” Cheaters Edition design for Rich Uncle Pennybags featured on each note. The character pieces are nicely detailed and well finished, and the dice are weighty and satisfying to use. The board is sturdy and nicely printed and the only gripe I’ve got about the game is that the storage options for all the bits could be a little better. Even the price is right, at a whisker under 20.
All in all, this is an excellent evolution of a classic game, and arguably more fun than the original Monopoly. The shorter playing time makes it more of a game to pick up and have a go, rather than the commitment of time regular Monopoly can be, and the cheating adds to the fun. Highly recommended!
Bought for a 3.5 year old as a step up from Orchard Toys games which have taught using and recognising dice and turn-taking, decided to try now and put away if it transpired to be too complex.
They love it! Quickly grasped the concept of buying property and enjoyed having their own money and taking the role of banker. Lots of exciting properties to buy like the zoo and ice cream parlour. Game is engaging enough that adults don’t get bored and as it’s over when the first player runs out of money the games aren’t too long.
Four chunky player pieces and easy cardboard tabs to denote property ownership. Rent doubles if you own two properties of the same colour. No building houses as in the classic version which keeps it simple.
Only criticism would be the money – it is grey, only printed on one side and is only one denomination. It’s a shame it is not more colourful and varied like the classic game – if children can recognise numbers to play they can deal with higher denominations. Also likely it will wear and become damaged quite quickly.
Highly recommended.
Excellent game. There’s no way to keep all the cards and money nearly in the box though which annoys me. Still brilliant to play. Who’d have thought my youngest was such a sly one!
My 5 year old son has enjoyed this game a lot. It’s a much simpler version of the adult game, and really it’s luck of the dice who wins which is great as everyone eventually gets a turn!
Nice game, my 5 year old loves to play.
I didn’t give all the stars because we wanted to introduce the kid to money and even if it fills the purpose it only comes with one type of banknotes so no much adding and subtracting to give change back or showing difference between banknotes.
My boys (4 and 7yrs) love playing board games but felt they needed something more than Snakes and Ladders. I’d never considered buying this before as I assumed even a simplified junior version would have them easily frustrated and unable to stay focussed. But having read the reviews and received a recommendation from a friend I went for it and introduced them to it on a recent wet Sunday afternoon. And they instantly loved it! They picked up the rules within the first game and remarkably, given that they are quite energetic by nature, it held their attention for most of the afternoon! The game does not go on too long and you can always make your own ways of prolonging the game if you want to. Such a great buy and a brilliant introduction to the game of Monopoly.
I probably prefer this over real Monopoly. My 6yo daughter loves it. Game play is very familiar but simplified to allow kids to understand it. Games generally take only 10-20 minutes meaning that you can have a quick game or play many games without feeling too drained.
I highly recommend this for younger kids. My daughter can play normal monopoly but she needs constant reminding about things. With this she just gets it and it helps with basic maths too. The game is also not simplified so much that we cannot have fun with it as well. We play as a family and we can be competitive but fair with each other.
We spent a lot of yesterday playing this with our 4 and 7 year old grandchildren. They love it. It is similar to the classic game, but made much simpler without losing the fun. Games are usually fairly short lived and the money ( one monopoly pound notes) means that the youngest can cope. There is still some strategy needed. There are chance cards and you can still be put in jail, although it’s easier to get out. All in all a real hit on a cold wet day.
What a fantastic game. This game really captures the essence of Monopoly whilst keeping it simple (and quick) enough for young children to enjoy. My 6 year old couldn’t play enough Christmas (or since).
The good: Game play is fast with a couple of variations for more patient players. The numbers are easy (purchase price and rents are the same, no buildings) and rent is doubled for a pair. The chance cards are generous at the beginning (lots of free properties) but become more dangerous as the game goes on.
The bad: Not much. My only niggle is the quality of the paper money. It is both very thin, and very sticky. This was brought into focus by playing an old game of Totopoly which is at least 35 years old. The money from that has aged well, and still has a good feel to it.
Verdict: Buy it! I nearly bought the young version of Game of Life but changed to this after reading various reviews. This game is my best Amazon purchase in a long time and we enjoyed some fantastic quality time together.
Bought this to replace older Junior version. Nice character pieces. No holders in box so all pieces and cards get mixed up so I used sandwich bags to keep separate. Flat tokens instead of houses. Down side is all money in 1 so less maths needed which I liked about older version – working out change and representation of money. Upside is that it takes nowhere near the time of the original family version.
5yo loves this game and picked up on the rules very quickly. Only 1 notes, easy to keep track of your properties as a marker is used. Cute characters. Games have always been quite quick so far so kept his attention.
Great monopoly for young ones. Doesn’t drag on like adult one and holds their attention. My only criticism is that the deed cards are small and are easily knocked out of place on the board, especially by the dice. Knocked a star off for this.
To rectify this i used some sticky velcro tape and put a small piece on each card and resting place on the board. Now they stay fixed for the duration of the game
Our 4 and 7 year old are in love with Monopoly now and cannot get enough of it. They played it for 4 hours the other day (not all in one go). The game usually goes on for about an hour for us and it keeps their attention for that time. I love the adult version myself and think it has been brilliantly adapted to kids in this version.
