Bought this battery after reviews for others suggested that paying a bit more was on the cards to preserve the battery life. It arrived on time and was well packed. Also came with the screwdrivers necessary to get it into the MacBook Air.
Some background first. I’ve had the MacBook Air as a custom spec for a long time but over the last few years, the battery hasn’t lasted long off the power cable. A friend in work who owned these machines advised me to DIY but I was v reluctant due to the cost of the machine. After a trip to the Genius Bar at Apple was a complete failure as they wouldn’t change it (too old), my husband volunteered to do it for me. I found this battery, ordered it, ordered an anti static mat and he got it done. The screwdrivers worked as they should and the battery went in with ease. The only casualty was a small screw on the case which was easily replaced.
It was calibrated on a week away from it and seems to be holding a good charge right now.

Had this fitted now for about 3 months came charged to 90% and has behaved as the original did from new. De momento, he comprobado que dura un poco menos que la original (aprox el 90%), no obstante, el precio que tiene compensa este pequeo defecto.
Aunque la instalacin es compleja, los destornilladores que incluye ayudan bastante. Puedes encontrar algn tutorial en YouTube que oriente, eso s, mucho cuidado con los minitornillos del Macbook.
En resumen, la volvera a comprar.

Easy to install and comes with two screwdrivers. This has transformed my Mac as before it would completely cut out after short use. Excellent and would recommend.
Reassuringly matched exactly the MacAir battery I was removing. Very easy to switch with the magnetised screwdrivers provided. Checking in ‘system information’ I can see the battery is recognised and functioning 100%. Took 10 minutes to replace, most that fiddling with the preposterously small screws. Make sure you do this on a clean, flat service so you don’t lose them. Official Apple repair centre quoted 129 but they needed to keep the laptop overnight which was inconvenient. Tip: check the model number on the back of the casing – it corresponds to the battery description.
Works great! Macbook Air happy as a clam. I’ve been replacing batteries on my on laptops since my first one back in the 90s. This last one was the easiest ever. I did, however, continue my streak of losing at least one screw during the process. Always an exterior one. sheesh. Gotta order replacements. Oh, do have a dust brush or canned air handy during the swap out.

A destacar, es que esta batera tiene una vida til de 500 ciclos de carga. La original es de 1000 ciclos, aproximadamente (la ma muri un poco antes, sobre los 950). Solo lo digo por si queris valorar la opcin de llevar vuestro mac al servicio tcnico.
The battery works fine, very easy to replace it but compared with the original one it heats up….
In the first 3 to 5 charges the battery will drain faster but after you will have around 75-85 of your original Apple battery!
My MacBook Air battery “died” after 9 years of life. This new battery has provided a welcome boost and enabled the computer to soldier on for more years to come

Funzionava perfettamente, poi il 15 febbraio praticamente morta, non da pi segni di vita, ho rimesso la vecchia batteria ed il pc si accende….scriver al fornitore per sapere se pu venire sostituita.

I use my MacBook for work and almost always have the charger plugged in, so I don’t know what the battery life is like if unplugged for a long period of time – I have only done this once when I had to work from home and didn’t have my charger and the battery lasted all day for spreadsheets, emails and general internet browsing.
The battery was extremely easy to change, 10 minutes.
At 30% the cost of the Apple store for a replacement, this is excellent value of money and it the need ever arises I would definitely buy again.
It is easy to install and battery life is not much as the original one, but it is sufficient. It can easily give 5 hours of battery time, that is enough for one day use for me. Good value for money, I recommend it.

Fitted to a 2013 13″ MB Air. Like most of the other reviewers I used the fixit guide online, additionally got myself a tray (catch any dropped screws), cleaning cloths and 4 yoghurt pots (to hold the 4 types of screws). Fitted and booted to log in screen in 19 minutes, including cleaning the inner shell, cooling fans and answering a question from SWMBO. As noted from other reviewers, included screwdrivers mediocre quality (one up from Christmas Cracker freebies), however they fitted well and I did not have any problems with them and keeping them for future projects. No instructions, its a moot point, by purchasing this kit, I have already researched what I need and how to complete the task so no point in reinventing the wheel.
Once fitted and battery calibrated it shows 7600mAH capacity, useful life varies, 6hrs constant video streaming at 40% screen brightness and all day web surfing (about 8hrs with 25% in the tank).
Likes; exact fit, well packaged, screw drivers included, 1year warranty
Dislikes; no instructions (moot point), could be cheaper.
Overall; I got what I needed and at a fair/premium price. No problems with installation or the supplied tools and so far (three weeks in) no issues with holding charge or charging (no overheating or hot spots) its rejuvenated a tired MBA ready for more service running macOS Big Sur. Looks like I got a good one and would buy again for other MBPs in the household.

Arrived quickly, well packaged. Simple instructions and very quick to change over. Followed the charge and discharge routine for the first few days and so far i am very pleased with the results.

I ordered this item last night, and it arrived on my doorstep at 11 am this morning.
It took 20 minutes to fit the battery with instructions from iFixit.
It had 88% charge when first switched on.
The included screwdrivers are basic, but they worked well. It helped that they are magnetised.
I am impressed with the service.
Hopefully the battery will last well. Time will tell.
The original battery in my Macbook Air had lasted for 8 years, but had begun to run down quickly. Eventually a warning symbol appeared, which prompted me to research how to change the battery. It is really simple, using the screwdriver provided, but I would recommend looking at one of the videos on Youtube, and to follow the instructions step by step. Try not to drop the screws, which are tiny.
So far I am pleased with the extra battery life, and hope the laptop lasts at least another 8 years.

Fast Delivery, easy to install and much cheaper than going to an Apple store for one. Battery arrived with 91% charge and is holding its life well after a couple of days.
Arrived quickly and was well packaged. Seemed to be good quality. Not sure how long it will last but fingers crossed.
I followed the ifixit guide and used a set of precision tools (rather than the supplied ones) and fitting it was very easy. Battery had about 80-90% charge already and the battery care instructions that came with it were very useful.

Amazingly quick delivery, ordered about 24 hours ago and it’s already installed. Install took about 15 – 20 minutes and was a prety fun job to do. Expect dust! good idea to plan a little clean while the back is off. Some of the screws are fiddly and difficult to refit if the battery isn’t set perfectly.
Pour l’instant tout va bien, franchement j’en suis ravie, voir sur la dure de vie, mais bon je saurai comment procder si je dois remplacer ma nouvelle batterie et je reviendrai vers vous !
