The instructions were easy. And the comfort it provides is much better than a standard office chair. Assembly would have been quicker if I didn’t have back pain, but it’s done. Only issue was the missing screws for to arm covers. I would very much recommend.
I have been using regular office chairs at my work desk for my whole life. They are a little cheaper than this, but the quality of this chair (so far) is soooo worth it. Incredibly easy to assemble, so comfortable! I’m around 250 and the chair holds me very well. I put it together in less than 20 minutes using the included tools and instructions. At this point, I’d highly recommend!
I bought a gaming chair because I wanted to invest in a comfortable work chair to work from home. It did come it dirty with marks but thankfully it was at the bottom of chair, so I didn’t mind. The chair does tip over to the front since all the weight is at the back of the chair. I actually fell forward a couple of times. Other than that I do love how soft and comfortable it is. I haven’t tested out massage part but so far it’s great. Doesn’t come with arm cushion, I bought that separately.
I’m an enthusiastic artist , gamer and streamer. Meaning that I use my chair a lot in my room.
Yesterday I received the chair and it was quite easy to build up and enough YouTube videos to follow if needed. It has a wide and broad sitting area meaning that the chair won’t make you feel like you are “squished in”. I weight 128 KG so to feel relieved by this sitting option means a lot to me. The lower back pillow has an usb than can activate a massage option which is quite comfortable and nice to have. The cussions are very soft and hold it’s form well even when you have sat for awhile and stand up again. The chair is super comfortable and the arm rests are just the right hight for me. The little leg rest can hold my legs pretty sturdy aswell.
If you are looking for a chair that is:
– comfortable
– Holds a lot of weight
– Has multiply sitting positions
– Sturdy arm rests
– Good for the back
Than I can for sure recommend this chair.
The chair is amazing, my boyfriend loves it and it’s super comfortable. The only suggestion I have is making armrests that are also adjustable forwards and backwards. (:
Devuelto por cambio de necesidades pero se ve buen producto.
The chair is very nice when assembled. It’s comfortable and it is good quality. You must assemble the chair, and I found the video on YouTube to be better then the instructions included with the package. Their packing is impeccable — a lot of thought went into how they lay each part into the box. We purchased two chairs and discovered that we were missing one small bag of important small screws and parts. We were concerned how much back-and-forth we would need to do with Customer Service. But I emailed their C.S. before bed and woke the next morning to an email response from Daniel (that is the customer service person who I assume takes all emails) written back about 45 mins after my initial email. We emailed back and forth several times, and then he had the bag of parts sent from China. I received about 10 days later. Totally surprised how prompt they were, since it feels unusual these days to receive prompt responses that actually solve my issue. But this company is VERY GOOD! Highly recommend.
If you see another review that is exactly the same—it’s not a BOT. It’s just the fact that I purchased two chairs for my kids — one blue and one red. Both look and work great!!!
I’m definitely happy with my purchase I think it has good support and comfy, the vibration is a bit loud but it’s good the footrest is stable my only complaint is it already squeaks when I sit or move in it, and also the plastic cover for the spring falls off a lot since there was no screw hole for it overall I do like i
Je recommande vivement ce produit. Superbe qualit. Facile a monter. Design super sympa. J adore la texture du sige. Gnial
First off the gaming chair works better than I thought. Very easy to assemble and there were no missing parts. The 2 items that were not necessary were the USB lumbar massager using a USB to plug in did not even make sense as you have to be extremely careful that you remember to unplug when you get out of the chair, for that reason alone I gave it 1 star. The other problem was the footrest. It does not work like you would think and when you tighten the bolts you cannot untighten them as they are locked. Other than those two small Items I would definitely recommend this chai
All’interno i pezzi erano comunque tutti ben imballati e protetti.
My son really likes it. He was impressed when I got it for his birthday, he really thought I knew my stuff
I’m 6ft and 20 stone and it’s great for my size. Sit in in for 8hrs a day as I work from home and after 4 months it’s still looks and feels new. Yes the seat is firm but still comfortable. If your worried about size it’s worth spreading a bit more for this chair. Really can’t fault it. Will update if that changes but all good 4 months in.
This chair is so amazing for gaming and chilling watching movies and YouTube when chilling
Brilliant, well worth the money. I am hard to trust and was looking for ages but I am very happy with this chair! 100% recommended
Like it very much easy to assamble basic massage but its good enough for long sittings so yea 🙂 love it.
After 3 months of use, the piston starteed leaking air and losing elevation over extended period of usage. Contacted customer services for instructions. They responded and resolved the problem withing the same day and despached the replacement piston the next day. Excellent customer service!
Chair itself is quite sturdy and comfortable. I use mine in conjucntion with a cushion and a foot stool as my desk is slightly higher. The chair is also very comfortable; especially when reclined. Too easy to fall asleep on.
One minor gripe is; when reclined you don’t have any support for your arms. Thus, you either have to dangle them from the sides or keep them on your chest like Dracula in his coffin =) Although it is not a sleeping chair, so this gripe is not so relevant.
well made, feels like it’s built to last. easy to assemble.
vibrating back pillow provides pleasant massage
This is a well made. Comfortable and easy to assemble chair. Easy to adjust to get into a comfortable seating position. The only negative is when the weather is hot it makes your back quite sweaty.
This chair is easy to assemble, the material is silky smooth, and it is super comfortable. I absolutely love it.
The chair is very nice and comfortable, not had any issues there and all the mechanisms work okay and move smoothly.
The assembly was also completely okay, I’ve done this twice now after moving home and on the 2nd occasions I had no instructions but was still able to put it together again in about 15 minutes.
The only issue I seem to have is that the chair can be a bit noisy when sitting down or moving the chair around, just creaking and squeaking noises so I think it’s just some plastic parts rubbing together. It’s not a problem really though and is the only negative I can come up with for it.
Overall though it’s a very nice chair and I have no real complaints.
Got this chair for my fiance for his birthday he loves it no chair reclines as much as this one, very comfortable especially with the massage pillow. We are both very impressed with everything about it.
It was expensive but when I was looking at the start I looked at reviews. This chair had the most positive reviews and so I decided to buy it. it was easy to assemble and of good quality. The only thing I would fault is the armrests. The case that it is in, is a bit loose but nothing massive. When you are in the chair you don’t think of it and it’s lovely and comfortable. Looks amazing and will keep it for years to come.
Not really much to fault the chair with. It does what it says on the can. It is quite comfortable and has a good range from upright to completely lying down. Colour schemes are good and very happy with the overall finish. The massage function is just a nice quirky bonus. If I had one qualm it would be that the arm rests could be a little more ergonomic, maybe a little longer / chubbier. Instructions to build were found online and wasn’t too challenging to do.
With all this said, very happy with the chair and would definitely recommend it.
very comfortable and the adjustability means you can find the right comfort position for you. My only issues and they are minimal are that after a few weeks it’s already started to creak and wobble on the centre pin, massage pillow could do with longer lead as if your not right next to the plug it won’t reach.
Such a comfy chair! I’ve been using it for the past couple of months when I’ve been gaming and its been amazing! Other than comfort I don’t know how else to describe it apart from extremely comfy!
Easy to put together and the absolute best for gaming and streaming at my pc.
For my son who is an avid gamer, he is Autistic so can be hard to please but he is over the moon with this product. The vibration pad is very relaxing and the overall posture is grea
Product was very easy to assemble very good quality and comfortable very happy with the purchase
Foot rest is quite short, but doable. Using it for work and reading.
Its very comfortable, Cushion is very large so its nice and soft. Last chair I had lost any softness and was about half the size of this one. This one is just so comfortable.
Chair was easy to build. One person could do it but two was obviously better. Cant fault the chair. I was worried about the arm rests, They seemed small but once I got the chair I was happy with them.
Had this chair a while now its my first gaming chair came very well packed and was easy to fix together.
Its super comfy as I play for hours it’s been great
The downside is after about 4 days it got very squeaky when u sit down on it and if u move about alot if it wasn’t for that it would be 5 stars
I bought this chair to replace a bog standard office chair that has gradually become more uncomfortable to use for me. This Nokaxus chair is helping with my posture and is very comfortable. I found it extremely easy to assemble. I would estimate it took no more that about 40 minutes and that was taking my time and reading the instructions carefully.
Every thing was perfect apart from the foot rest bar that flips it out was bent. So is very stiff to pull out otherwise absolutely perfect.
Pretty easy to assemble, for a while i thought no bolts had been provided until i realised they were all screwed in and needed to be removed first to assemble. Chair is quite wide and comfortable with options to adjust tilt, height and back angle. Biggest gripe for me is the head pillow does not sit high enough and the foot rest is useless as it is not long enough to accomodate me. Some creaking and squeaking but this is not much of an issue.
This chair is really comfortable and I’m really looking forward to testing out the backassaging cushion!
It fits really nicely with my gaming aesthetic and I love the affordability of it!
To me the foot rest is irreplaceable purely because I sit like a gremlin/stone golem when gaming and it gives me exactly the height I need for my gaming set up!
Only point of improvement for me would be the ar rests, but you can buy cushioning covered for them so even then I’m not mad especially when I consider the price.
And if you’re like me and don’t like reading instructions, you’ll be fine. This was super easy for me to put together. However it is heavy, that’s the only warning I have to give.
I bought this chair as I was working from home and I wanted to invest in a stylish but comfy chair, I saw this chair on sale and it was definitely a great purchase!
I’ve had this chair for 8 months and it’s still as sturdy as the day I bought it, I have previously my working days in this chair and it’s been nice to sit in, the back support cushion is a really good feature of the chair as I haven’t experienced any back ache as I would have from other chairs. I was worried that over time the seat would become flatter, but it hasn’t done that.
I did have an issue with a faulty wheel, but the seller was happy to send a new part, meaning I can enjoy this chair for a lot longer.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this chair if you are looking for a nice chair to either work or game on. I would especially recommend it if you are a larger person as it’s a large chair and it’s held up incredibly well so far.
This is my first gaming chair and have just moved house and needed it not just for gaming and it is really comfortable for sitting out for 30 minutes to 6 hours. I had to make it on my own bit wasn’t to bad as all the bolts are in the base of the chair.
I would recommend this chair to anyone thinking of getting one.
Very impressed with this chair, I have issues with my spine and find it very comfy and sturdy and the massager helps my pain.
would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a comfy gaming chair with some added bonuses. Very sturdy the only very minor setback to such an awesome chair is the armrests dont move from side to side only go up and down.
It’s easy to assemble, very well made and very sturdy
Overall a great large chair, very comfortable and well padded. Can spend a good amount of time on the chair without becoming uncomfortable or feeling you must get up for a stretch, it feels strong and sturdy with nice pillow support at the neck.
If I was to nit-pick and say anything a bit negative, it would be the massage function feels a bit of a gimmick, and that the chair is a bit front heavy… meaning if you lean forward quite a bit it feels like its possible to topple forward. But these are minor concerns.
(I just built this chair yesterday, but I will update this review periodically if any problems arise!)
Ok so I NEVER write reviews unless something is amazing or absolutely horrendous that I feel like others need to be warned about. This chair is AMAZING!!! I built it all by myself. It’s super heavy, but that’s also because I’m 5’4 and 140 lbs with no upper body strength lol. Also, the massaging pillow is pretty loud but it feels great. It’s USB, so I can just plug it right into my gaming PC whenever I want to use it. The chair was easy to put together – I only messed up one part. I just switched the covers where the seat attached to the back part. It was difficult to take those off, but I just used my pocket knife to pry out the screw cover. Make sure to follow directions and analyze every piece carefully to make sure you put them on the right side. There is an extra screw, screw cap/cover, and a silicone band (this is what stops the footrest from falling out.) I can also sit crisscross on it because it’s a little bit wide! The arm rests are also adjustable 🙂
Pros:
Super comfortable, and the adjustable pillows are really nice too. I have levoscoliosis and this chair helps tremendously when I play video games for hours on end.
The way this reclines back is SO GOOD. It’s smooth, easy, etc. So comfortable.
The pink color is sooo pretty! It matches my Razer headset perfectly .
Cons:
Honestly, the only thing I noticed is that the leather is kind of loud when u adjust your position. But, it doesn’t bother me too much, because the chair is so comfy.
The footrest is a little finicky. The bars to connect the footrest are kind of short, and my legs are pretty long, so it’s not the most comfortable. I usually just rest my feet on it, because my legs extend past the footrest.
The screws can only be tightened by hand. They are all Allen wrench screws (idk how to spell it). That’s the only downside – I couldn’t use an electric screwdriver, so I’m hoping the chair doesn’t fall apart because I have no strength lol. Will update if it does.
Overall, this chair is soooo worth the money. It came well packaged, not damaged at all. All pieces were there, and the directions were clear. Not anything like IKEA instructions. The pink is so vibrant and it was super easy to put together. So comfy too! Well padded and good quality. Hope this helps others!
Best in line! price/quality is way up there!
Chair was easy to assemble, very comfortable and extremely stable.
If you really want a negative (every review should include one); the arm rests are slightly (1/2 inch or 1cm) to far apart for a non obese person, but still in perfect reach though too far from your body in order to use both as a support when working (I’m either leaning left or right )
As a bigger guy I was happy to find the width was good and the chair piston doesn’t drop when sat in.
Only slight issue is I find it a little bit low at max height as backs of knees, and just above, ache after a while especially after a 24 shift, but was easily sorted by placing a cushion on seat to adjust angle of my legs slightly, and of course making sure I get up for a little walk now and then, lol. Would def buy again.
I bought it for my son who is on the larger size so it’s assuring it will take the weigh
A really comfortable desk/gaming chair, perfect for working from home. Assembly was challenging for one person but was straightforward enough (took about an hour) Be careful when leaning forward (eg. to pick something up off the floor) as the chair can tip forward. Very pleased overall though, worth the money.
Followed the instructions which were fairly straight and took me around 20/30 minutes to build. The massage cushion is so comfortable and the chair is definitely worth it!
awesome chair. so much more comfort. love this chair but massager is a bit to loud, so i dont use it at all
It is the best gaming chair I have ever had and is super comfortable and easy to assemble. Defiantly 5 stars .
Took me about an hour to put together because I thought I’d try it on my own (I recommend 2 people to assemble) apart from that the chair is perfect! Sturdy, comfortable, spacious and the foot rest is a definite bonus!
Easy enough to assemble (took me maybe 10-15 minutes max).
Extremely comfy! I have legitimately fallen asleep in this chair every day since I bought it, I’m not even lying, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I do tend to have a bad habit for falling asleep on chairs though. It’s super wide which is nice too.
I don’t use the massage feature too much because it does tend to be quite loud and I have downstairs neighbors and I’m worried they might be able to hear it through the wooden floor but when I do it’s amazing. It’s not ridiculously loud but you know how vibrations travel.
My only gripe is that it’s a bit creaky sometimes when I lean forward/backwards if I don’t have the “rocking feature” fully tightened. The rocking feature “lock” on the handle you use to lower the chair seems to do nothing but since I don’t want to use it, it’s no problem for me. (Having tested it just now, it creaks even when the locking feature is fully tightened, it’s not that bad though I wouldn’t let it deter you from buying the chair unless you can’t stand ANY creaks)
Overall I’m happy with my purchase and i’d buy it again for sure and suggest you do the same. Good price, good product.
Excellent, good quality, good design, nice colors and metrical is being used. Its worth the price.
Amazing chair. Bought for my fianc and he absolutely loves it. Very sturdy, nice and wide and tall. Very comfortable also
The chair is awesome, could not be happier with it. If I was to nitpick at something it would be the arm rests, they are not sturdy. The arm rests rotate slightly but it does not bother me as the chair is comfortable and a big upgrade to my previous chair.
Easy to assemble, took just 20mins.
Love the color.
Comfortable to sit and good features and add ons.
Looks and feels premium.
Con:
Massager does not have a start stop button or variable speed options.
Headrest strap is not tigtt so it is little below the neck and needs to be adjusted everytime.
The chair was no problem to assemble with very easy to follow instructions. It has a high build quality and is sturdy and comfortable.
I had a slight problem with one of the parts. If you have any issues with the chair, their customer service is efficient and helpful. too.
When Covid hit in early 202 I spent a lot of time researching and looking for a good chair. Writing this now in August 2021 after having it for nearly a year, I love it. Very sturdy yet very comfortable. The vibrating cushion is a good add on, the pull out foot rest does take a bit of force to get out but works well too. For this price point, this is a great purchase.
Very sturdy chair, comfortable to sit in and the recline angles are great.
As with any self assemble chair, make sure that you read the instructions carefully so that you don’t need to repeat any steps.
Firm, great support, great delivery, great accessories, my daughters bottom is no longer numb from working and playing at her desk – perfect would recommend.
Bought for my nine year old daughter and she loves it. Didn’t realise the back lumber support vibrates. A month on and it’s still going strong.
Surprisingly comfortable chair. And while lumbar pillow is not that impressive, what really surprised me was the feet rest. Im 172 cm tall and having feet rest and ability to change back angle i can make a super comfortable “setup” for watching something. While being a game enthusiast first thing i was looking for is comfortable chair for long gaming sessions, and all my chairs before that also were selected for that, i felt not too much of a difference, which is actually good, it does it job as all my previous chairs did. But that i can also have a super comfortable “layout” for just browsing/watching/chilling is something that came as very pleasant surprise.
Only one slight minus is that i would like to be able to have it’s rocking function less tight, i adjusted the tightness of it, but even on lowest setting it’s quite tight.
Hey this char is really comfortable had issue with the tilt but contacted the seller and sort me out.
Definitely recommend it.
I got this chair 1 1/2 weeks ago, and almost immediately started putting it together. It’s fairly simple, and doesn’t require any tools other than the two allen wrenches included in the box. From start to finish, it too me maybe 30 minutes, but bear in mind I was also watching TV at the time. It was pretty easy to do alone, but I could see how installing the seat onto the lower portion may need two people, since the seat is relatively large, and can be difficult to maneuver into place if you’re a smaller person.
Once I got it all together, I moved it into my office, sat down, and got comfy. One of the first things I noticed is that even though it’s rated for people up to 300 lbs, the seat itself kind of indicates maybe not so much. The edges of the seat are tilted up, so if you have large thighs, it can be a little uncomfortable unless if you’re sitting perfectly straight in the chair.
Another point of consideration is the footrest. If you’re getting this chair hoping to use the footrest, I hope you’re not too tall. I’m 6′ 1″, and the end of the footrest comes to about my knees. Unfortunately, it’s completely useless to me.
The lumbar and neck pillows are DEFINITELY a nice touch. I realize a lot of gaming chairs seem to have those included now, but my old chair was nearly 20 years old, so it didn’t.
The only other thing is the “Gaming Assistant” pad, which is included for free. When you look at it, it looks like a mousepad, but it’s 27 inches wide by 13 inches high. Which is FAR too wide to be used as a mousepad, and far too narrow to be used as a mouse and keyboard pad. Which unfortunately means it’s just junk. I honestly don’t get the point of this thing…even if it’s just meant to be a mousepad, who needs one that’s 27″ wide? And I’m not exaggerating, I actually measured the thing, and it’s actually 27″x13″.
tl:dr If you don’t plan on using the footrest, and don’t have large thighs, it’s a very comfortable, easy to assemble chair.
Came within a day. Nicely packaged and fairly easy to assemble. Mostly sturdy, some plastic parts so time will tell. Very comfortable and looks good. Using as an office chair. Very comfortable
The chair is good quality within the given pricing. I took my time to look for this chair and I wasn’t disappointed.
I got this chair for my son to study and play games.
Exactly like the picture. Very comfortable and premium gaming chair. The lumbar pillow is adjustable and vibrates, which makes the experience even better. The customer service is also very efficient.
I was dreading making this but when it came it was very easy to assemble. Loved the fact the screws were already in place and I didn’t have to spend ages looking at what goes where. My son loves it and says it’s very comfortable. The only thing is the message isn’t a proper message as I was expecting just this small cushion that vibrates but my son is happy with it.
After sitting in an low back office chair for over 20 years, the Nokaxus Gaming Chair. is 200% more epic in comfort. Composing is more of a joy and less painkillers, and gaming is beautiful vibrating, and with a footrest and hours spent in other worlds, I have arrived finally. love it.
I bought this for my husband, great quality, comfortable, instructions to build really easy to Follow.
Since lockdown had me home all day with my wifes great baking I have scaled to 22 stone and this chair is handling my chunky behind fine.
I had one issue recently with the gas cannister and a little bit of a squeak that the chair had that I figured may have been normal as this is my first chair of this kind however a quick message to the seller and they straight away agreed to send a new cannister and tilt mechanism for me. This is about 5 months after purchase (the listing says any issues solved free up to 2 years). I have just installed the new parts and the chair seems as good as new (better as the squeak seems to be eliminated also).
The chair was easy to assemble though is pretty heavy due to its sturdy frame so some parts were a little awkward to hold and fix together solo but I have had much worse times during assembly of stuff in the past so no real issue and would be easier with 2 people probably.
I use this chair as an office chair as well as for down time playing on my PC so am in it at least 8 hours every weekday while working and it has been a vast improvement on the previous dining table chair I was using. I haven’t had any real back ache during the time using it which I have been prone to previously so the support offered is clearly good and because you can adjust the cushion and backrest to suit its pretty easy to get it comfy and supportive.
I havent used the massage feature of the cushion much as the vibration is fairly loud and I find that distracting as I work however the feel of it isnt bad on the back, its not to strong.
I find the arm rests sit a little low for me and the ability to put them up higher would be nice in a chair designed for bigger people however I am also 6 foot 3 tall so this is a pretty standard issue for me and not something I expect more averaged height folks would suffer from.
Overall great all day chair in my opinion so far that has greatly improved my working from home experience during the ongoing pandemic
Easy to assembled if you have built one before.
No alignment issues…
Very comfortable…
Excellent chai
Had to have a friend help me put this chair together but when I did it is so comfortable I could go to sleep in it but it is not very easy to assemble and comes in are lot of bits
Good chair I am only small in height so was worried about leg length on the seat part but it’s perfect, I am also a wide person but the fit is good and I like that you can size the arms to fit tight or give you more room. Only downside is missing mounts for the foot rest – debating whether I go through the hassle to return for this reason or no
I’ve had this chair for about a month and half now, sat in it every day all day, i was quite pleased with the quality of the materials when it arrived took about 10/15 minutes to set up, i was reserved on buying a chair like this as all of the reviews for similar products all mentioned things like it fell apart within a month the quality wasnt very good and that materials had ripped, however I’m glad i opted for this one ive had no issues with it at all, hope this helps someone who was in the same position as me!
Update: using it for 4 months now and when i to lay on the back on the chair and also when i get back to initial position its gets a cracking loud noise. Tried to oil , saw every single video on internet with same prb … nothing worked . Bothers me as the sound is loud . while gaming with microphone on the other can hear the crack sound .
I am very pleased with this chair .
After using and having it for more than one month it started to be squeaky .This happens when i go on my back and came back to normal position. Anyone having this issue ? i was looking to put a bit of oil but not sure where should i . Thank you
I’m not a gamer.. I work as an online teacher. This chair is so comfortable. Easy to put together (I did follow a YouTube video ).
I specifically wanted this chair because it had a max weight of 350lbs. I’m not that big, but I tend to sit in my chairs… oddly, and this seems to destroy chairs pretty fast. Typically I get cheapo desk chairs, so I guess instead of changing my ways, I just decided to get a better chair.
The leather-esque material on the chair is really nice and put together so well. I have seen other chairs that have terrible stitching that starts to tear into the fabric, until it finally gives.
The arms go up and down and are slightly squishy/spongy.
The chair can recline to totally flat, AND it can still lean back. I’m honestly terrified to try them together. My girl keeps insisting it will be fine because of how far back the piston is, but I’m afraid to go flying backwards in this thing, lol. It reclines with a lever like the passenger seat in a car, with the lever to the right of the pivot point.
The footrest could go out a bit further and be a bit more sturdy (with my legs fully extended on it, it flexes downward a bit), but for a footrest built into a gaming chair, I’m very happy with it. It’s just a bonus feature really.
Really nice wheels that turn and pivot very easily.
The lumbar messaging pillow is pretty awesome. It’s kinda loud, but it’s surprisingly strong.
The head pillow is also a nice touch. Another thing I would consider a bonus feature.
The seat itself is extremely rigid and comfortable. Assembly was really easy, mainly thanks to the fact that all bolts arrive in their threaded holes. No bag of bolts, no comparing and contrasting bolts to figure out what ones are “BOLT A” and so on. Grab the seat, grab a part, take bolts out to put them right back. Another reason I appreciate this is I’ve bought products before where bolts are the wrong size, or the threaded hole is at an unusable angle, or other random quality defects that would have been noticed had someone just tried to screw a bolt in.
My ONLY problem with this chair, and maybe this isn’t even something that can be fixed or changed, but the piston. The way these pistons pop into their spots, just like cheap desk chairs, they’re crap. They creak and squeak and pop. I also hate the typical desk chair lift/lower lever. Just like most desk chairs, you push it in and the chair can’t lean back, pull it out and it can. What’s annoying is when it’s in and you lean back, once you hit the limit, the chair starts to go back and to the right. When the lever is out and you lean back, once you hit the limit, the chair starts to go back and to the left. Both of these “problems” are minor, and I KNOW I’m nitpicking, but that’s also kinda my point. You have to nitpick to find anything wrong with these chairs.
Very happy with my purchase.
The comfort and thickness are adequate, good even. The sturdiness however is not fantastic, the chair feels quite unbalanced unless you have the back rest tilted down a little and you’re leaning backwards. If it’s upright which is what I prefer as I have a bad back then often the chair tries to tip forward. I think it doesn’t help that the stem is too far towards the back of the chair.
I got this chair as it said it was for taller people, I’m 6’5″ and with the chair fully up it feels like I still need a good 2 or 3 inches to make it comfy so I have an extra cushion to sit on which raises me up to the right height.
To finish on a positive note the quality of the chair covering is great and it smells nice too, well unless I’ve spent 24 hours sitting in it gaming. Then, not so much.
Would I buy this chair again? For me, probably not as it’s not tall enough for me. For anyone slightly less tall, absolutely.
Lets start from the beginning.
It came in a fairly secure package and arrived with no visible damage. so great so far. assembly was super easy and came with the tools needed to assemble it. after everything was put together, it looked pretty clean but anything more than a glance and you start to notice some pieces dont seem to fit very snug. there are gaps here n there, but nothing too glaring.
as for comfort….its about as good as any other chair. the included lumbar and headrest is a great inclusion and im glad they had the foresight to include it with the purchase. the armrest doesnt go as high or low as i would have preferred and theres no way to adjust how close together the armrest sits. the maximum height of the chair is also too low for my desk. the fake leather is nice and ill have to get back to this point later, but leather doesnt really breathe and it does get uncomfortable for prolonged sessions.
i bought an office chair years ago at the same price point that i was hoping to replace with this after i moved, but after a couple months, i really wanted my old office chair back. in fact, i went back to the old apartment to see if it was still around, and im glad it wasnt toss out, so i brought it back that day. it had all the options i mentioned that didnt exist on the gaming chair minus the reclining angle.
now back to the fake leather i mentioned earlier. ive had this chair for about 9 months now, and used it for about 5 since i got my old office chair back. i recently noticed the the fake leather was “chipping” off. its primarily around the ‘seams’, but it runs throughout the edge of the chair. i dont know if this is normal for the fake leather or whatever its made of, but at around $200 i was hoping it would show such obvious signs of wear THAT quick. Also the chair from time to time, would lower by itself and i would have to get off, pull the lever to have it rise, sit down, and again it would lower by itself.
All in all, the 180 degree recline isnt enough of a selling point to pay $200. office chairs at the same price point offer much more customizability and adjustments to allow you to sit much more comfortably.
Edit: 02-13-22
The chair no longer raises or lowers, the piston is completely shot. apparently im much heavier than i would have guessed. 2 years….2 years with plenty of minor issues along the way. for reference, i bought a $180 chair that lasted 8 years.
Edit: 03-04-22
I emailed customer support with my piston issue, and they were extremely accommodating. They were willing to fix my piston issue and more. Just this service alone is worth it’s weight in gold. so i will be readjusting my rating for this chair from a 2, to a 4.
I wanted to wait until I used the chair for a bit before giving this review.
Overall, I think the chair is really good value. I’ve had it for about a month now and it’s still very comfortable. It was easy to put together (minus the foot rest but that was my bad), and the quality of the materials is pretty impressive for the price. I’m going to write an in depth review below. TL;DR: Good chair, minor issues, worth the money!
Pros:
– It looks super cute! I really wanted a pink gaming chair for my pink setup, but many others I were looking at were too white, and I knew they would get dirty. The pink colour is kind more of a salmon, but it looks great regardless. If you want that gamer girl aesthetic, this will get you there!
– Adjustability is great, and I can recline all the way without feeling like the chair is going to topple over. I also like that the arm rests are adjustable as my desk is a little low and other chairs wouldn’t fit under it.
-It’s actually really comfortable, I have spine issue and I find the chair to be nice and supportive. I am noticing I am in less pain after long sessions at the computer. The seat cushion is really long which is great for me at I am 5’9″ (it goes pretty much to my knees if I am sitting all the way back in the chair. The tall back means my head can actually rest on the back of the chair, and the head pillow is nice and cushy.
-The built in massager is going to get a pro AND con, Pro is that.. its there!
Cons:
– My chair is pretty creaky when I use the tilt. I’m not sure if it just needs to be worked in, or what. But otherwise it’s quiet!
– The footrest doesn’t seem very stable, keep in mind I’m pretty tall, so the rest actually extends to my calves, not my feet. But I do use it, and it hasn’t failed me yet! I’m just careful to be delicate….
– The arms are a little wiggly, but that is not a deal breaker.
-The lumbar back massager is more of a big vibrating pillow, there are no settings and it connects via USB which turns it on immediately. The cord is long enough for me as I use a laptop, but if you had a tower that was farther away you might need an extender.
Overall, I like this chair! I would recommend 🙂
I bought this for my son as a bday present. He just loves it. The chair is realy good, sturdy and comfortable.
Item arrived on time and as described – no parts were missing. Assembly, for the most part, was ok, but I did get stuck at some points and had to refer to the YouTube video.
Positives:
– Comfortable
– Stylish
– Large
– Sturdy
Negatives
– Footrest doesn’t extend far enough – not comfortable for long periods if you’re quite a tall person so I found myself not using that feature.
– The covers that go on the side of the chair do not align with the holes, therefore I can’t clip it into place as you’ll see in the photo. I have taken apart the chair and had someone else take a look but it never aligns on mine. Although it doesn’t affect the use of the chair, it is not appealing cosmetically to have the cover sticking out.
Overall I would recommend this chair as it is very comfy and stylish, but it loses a star for me due to a flaw/defect where the cover does not align and the footrest is not very useful for me.
Being over 6ft, I was worried about whether I would be to tall for the chair, but it actually fits me really well. It’s also VERY comfortable. Considering the price, I was pleasantly surprised. The foot rest is a bit cumbersome to get in and out, but that’s my only gripe. Definitely worth the money.
Was missing a few bits for the footrest, but after emailing the seller it was posted out and with me a week later. Good chair, comfortable and easy to setup.
Only downside is after a few days the chair does squeak, but apart from that it’s a chair.
The chair assembly was straightforward enough. Following the supplied instructions and taking my time it was completed in about an hour.
I find it very comfortable and it feels sturdy and the materials used appear to be of good quality.
I use it for gaming and for working at my desk on the pc. The chair is easily adjusted to provide the right support whatever task is at hand. I’m very pleased with this chair.
Pretty good chair if I’m honest. Used it for a few weeks now. Bit fiddly putting it all together but once up rather comfy. The lumbar pillow is adjustable and also vibrates if plugged into a power source. Seems pretty sturdy and the quality is pretty high. Overall totally impressed. Wasn’t the chair I was looking at originally but to be fair I’m so glad I got it.
So impressed with this chair. Does everything I need it too. Goes together really well, great quality fixings and instructions (even though a bit Pigeon English). Just a great chair, brilliantly adjustable and great for watching TV in the office with the recline and foot stall. Worth every penny.
Love this chair, strong, comfortable and great for sitting long hours. Assembled myself which took a bit longer than stated but still pretty easy. Highly recommended
Easy to set up and does everything it says on the product description. The chair is very comfortable, although I have taken off the massager, which just vibrates anyway, rather than massaging so to speak. Overall, the chair is brilliant and worth the money! No more back pains from my old chair.
Very comfortable and premium feeling gaming chair. Looks fantastic. Comfortable for long periods, massage pillow quite basic but a nice feature not expected at this price point. Lower back pillow comfortable and moveable.
Leg rest for me is unuseable as I am 6 foot 3 tall so it does not sit comfortably on my legs. Not enough movement in the upper cushion so it sits in not the most comfortable place, again if your a bit shorter I don’t think this will be an issue.
Easy to put together and fast delivery. I have a happy 11 year old who loves his new gaming chair.
I have been in the market for a gaming chair from quite some time and after a lot of research, I’d say this chair is undoubtedly the best for the features it provides at the price at which this is offered. There are a handful of chairs a bit inexpensive than this but that premium this chair is charging is worth the features.
The Good
1.) The assembly process was not very cumbersome. It might feel overwhelming seeing so many parts and screws but once you get going there won’t be much in your way. Just make sure to follow along the video the manufacturer has uploaded on their channel which you can either find by searching on YouTube or scanning the QR code provided with the manual.
2.) Chair is comfortable, feels sturdy, one can easily have long sessions sitting on the chair without feeling uneasy or feeling any discomfort. The material used is faux leather (synthetic leather) and has a good feel to it. It’s too early to say how long is thag feel gonna last but given the quality of the material doesn’t feels cheap, I’d say this is not something to worry about.
3.) The footrest is the best thing about this chair. I was reluctant to use it for long durations because it felt like the bars which supports the footrest would snap off if I put too much pressure on it or keep my legs on it for a prolonged duration but suffice to say that it’s not coming off anytime soon or ever for that matter unless you try to crush it with the force of a thousand suns.
4.) The massager, it just works. I thought this was a gimmick but they actually pulled through and included a decent motor which does a damn good job of making your lower back feel good or whatever part of your body you’re using it on. After a long day, I just like to pull back and just leave it on for a good 30 minutes.
Some minor gripes.
1.) I think this is not exclusive to this certain chair but to all gaming chairs in general. The upper pillow which is supposed to support your neck is just too damn uncomfortable. You’d be much better off removing it while sitting because there’s no way you can get used to the way it feels although you might wanna put it back on in case you want to recline it at an angle of 110 or more.
2.) The lower back lumbar support pillow takes some time to get used to. You have to go through a series of trial and error to find the right fit. I wouldn’t say that it’s a bad thing, but I was expecting the pillow to fit in like a glove and to my dismay it sort of felt awkward initially until I adjusted it to a couple of different positions. Also I wish if the pillow was a bit bigger in size, but I’m happy with what we have right now as well.
Overall, I’d say I made the right choice by going with this chair. There’s a lot of commotion about how gaming chairs are just a gimmick and not worth your hard earned money, but I found this to be untrue. A chair needs to be comfortable be it an offoce chair or a racecar chair and this chair does the job damn well.
PROS:
– Reclining feature, adjustable tension for leaning, adjustable seat height, adjustable arm rests.
– Pretty pink color
– Back height
– Thicc chick approved (large seat, solid stability)
CONS:
– Headrest is not adjustable
– Footrest is awkward
– Wheels are too small
– Feels cheap in some areas
DETAILS: This is the first gaming chair I’ve ever bought, and I really like it! It’s definitely an upgrade from my uncomfortable wooden desk chair. I love that it is fully customizable to your comfort level. It has a recliner, tension adjustment to how much it will lean when sitting, adjustable height, and adjustable arm rest height too. I’m 6’0″ and 275 lbs., so it was important for me to find a chair that was tall AND had a large seat for my thick thighs. I find myself still having plenty of room, and it doesn’t squish my thighs at all! The back is perfectly tall for me, even with my extra seat cushion for my LCS and back problems. I love the color, I feel like Toadette! The little racing wheels are so cute, but not super functional on carpet. My wooden chair could roll easily, but because these wheels are so small it wants to tip when scooting up to the desk. If you have different flooring, this probably won’t be a problem for you.
As great as this chair is, I do have a few problems with it. My biggest issue is the headrest. It’s not pulled taught like in the product photo, it hits below my neck in between my shoulders. You can see how much it droops in my photo. It’s annoying to have to reach back and move it to my neck anytime I sit down or move. The strap on the headrest really should have been adjustable, like a bra strap.
My second issue is that it feels cheap in some areas. I could definitely tell the quality was off when putting this together, as I had to rip some of the leather because the screw hole wasn’t aligned with the hole in the leather (it’s not in a visible area fortunately). As you can see in the video, the arm rests wobble and feel like cheap plastic. Another thing I don’t like is the footrest. If you are short you might not have this problem, but for me the footrest hits at my calves. This leaves my lower legs feeling unsupported and the reclining experience is just awkward. I was mostly looking for a good desk chair, so that doesn’t bother me too much, but it is a bummer to have paid for a feature I won’t even use. I hope in the future they make the footrest longer, and the headrest adjustable. I also haven’t really used the massager very much. It just kind of buzzes. It’s a decent feature to have but I wouldn’t pay extra for it.
All in all, if you are specifically looking for a super high end reclining desk chair with a footrest this might not be for you. But, if you are looking for a good looking, large, customizable and comfortable desk chair, this is a solid choice.
I bought this to replace an aging office chair that had developed a lean towards the right. For the money I didn’t expect much but was intrigued by the neck and lumbar pillows. I didn’t even pay attention to the fact that it could recline since I’m a big guy, 6’3″ and 235 lbs and most of this kind of chair, when reclined, doesn’t center the weight over the wheels making them tipsy. This chair does a proper job of keeping your weight centered over the wheels such that I can completely recline it and actually take a nap on it. That also helps as I scoot back and forth between desks in my office area. This chair is well-balanced and ergonomic. I didn’t even realize that the lumbar support pillow has a built-in massager powered from a USB port.
I love how the lumbar support pillow and neck pillow can be moved up and down to match your posture. They adjust by sliding belts that only require you to move the cushion to the position you want and it will stay there.
The only cons I’ve encountered in a couple of weeks of use are the arm rests being almost too wide apart even when set to their minimum spacing. Thin people might find that odd but at my size I found it interesting that I could sit in a chair that was almost too wide for me.
The assembly instructions are all pictorial and in a few cases the steps could have been more clear on some things. One item being that the parts lists shows a number of screws separately that are actually delivered in their installed positions rather than as separate items in bags. Another item is the positioning of the arm rests. The bolt holes for each side are identical but the the armrests themselves are slightly thicker in front than on the back side (I think) and the pictures do not make that clear. There is a card in the info packet inside the box that contains the instruction manual and this card which points you to a website and video to watch regarding assembly. I didn’t notice the card when I started assembly, working straight from the assembly manual. And those pictures worked OK in figuring out how to put it together but for the armrests. After building it I thought the armrests might be wrong so I switched them – but determined I had it right the first time and switched them back. Then I watched the video after discovering the card in the info packet – and the video instructions were no clearer on which is front and back on the armrests. A trivial point in all though, because it really comes down to your own comfort and the fact that the armrests are interchangeable just gives people a chance to try it both ways and see what they like better.
I have a mild concern about the long term wear on the single pivot pin the chair uses to attach the seat bottom to the height adjustment cylinder. But whatever that turns out to be, it is no different than almost all the other chairs in this price range. So not really a con. And I’ve replaced those pins with shoulder bolts in other chairs before when they’ve worn excessively.
Considering all the features like adjustable armrest height, chair height, lumbar support, neck support, reclinability, high back, and the footrest built-in this is quite a good value and, so far is holding up well and is easy to manuever. I may buy another!
