Easy to follow instructions, it’s not over sensitive as some will trip when the plug next to them is switched. Does the job it’s suppose to very well and safely.

Item seems to work well but haven’t tripped it yet other than test button, only problem is thought I was getting two because of the misleading main product image and only got one.

I have recently bought some plug in heaters…. but I feel safer that they have this circuit breaker to plug into, incase anything goes wrong! So far all is going well.

This is a very good quality safety device, which will protect your power supply, it also has a light which indicates that power is on, and a test button.

I bought this protect me using a hedge trimmer in my garden as it will cut off power in the event of me accidently shearing through the cable. I check it before use, the “test” function is a good way of knowing beforehand if it actaully works. It also cut out when I was using my grass strimmer, and although I can’t see any obvious tears on the power cable, this is telling me that the strimmer has some sort or power issue, so for safety’s sake I will replace it.
Overall this RCD adaptor is very good value for money.

Arrived on time. Seller lost a star by not including an invoice hence no record of purchase date to cover 2-year guarantee.. Very good product.

Have several RCD’s, including those integral to power leads. The OANAN works well, and fits in well with surrounding fixtures.

Still working over a year later, which is more than can be said for my previous RCD purchased from the big DIY shed on the edge of town, you know the one indicators are nice and clear, instructions also on the device itself, though in very small print, so when you haven’t used it over the winter you can remind yourself of the set up sequence come the first grass cutting of the spring!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExactly what I was looking for. In the description is missing the fact that the RCD is a “PASSIVE” type, which is good for indoor equipment. It simply means that the RCD will not trip in case of lack of Mains, but will remain closed and ready for when the Mains comes back. The “ACTIVE” RCD’s are tripping in case of lack of Mains, which is great when you feed outdoor electrical equipment, i.e., nobody whats to see a saw or a driller going off on their own just because the power cameback, is it? Good value for money, then.

The instructions written on the actual plug itself really help.

The product looks and feels very good product. Came very well packaged as well. Would buy again if the need arose.

Bought this after I cut the wire using hedge trimmers. A safety option when using my garden tools and battery charger.

All outside electrical equipment run from an extension lead should be plugged into one of these. It cuts current off almost instantaneously if there is a short. It has a simple test mechanism to show that all is working properly.

Good value as well as being essential.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this as additional protection for my pond pump circuit. It tests ok, and breaks the circuit when manually tripped. It seems ok, I just get the feeling as an electrical engineer, that the build quality could be a little better, as it seems a little plasticky…. but then you get what you pay for, hopefully.
Some people say they see a `flash` when manually tripped/tested, its just the current being interrupted. All circuit breakers generate `flashes`, you should see the 11/33kv circiut breakers I worked on…..
Having said that, its passed its EU tests, so its probably just me being picky…just hope it never has to work in anger…

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis RCD Outlet works well. My only criticism is that a standard 13 amp plug does not seem to go all the way in. I do not see this as a safety issue as the line and neutral pins of the plug are insulated part of the way down.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA great safety product. I had an accident over a year ago when the lawnmower cable got caught underneath the mower and got a bit cut up. Lucky for me no great damage was caused but made me realise about safety and the need to cut out the power if such a thing happened again.
    Easy to use and inexpensive.

My home already has RCD electrical for human safety. I got this in order to plug outside extensions into it.
I believe it is slightly more sensitive than my home electric consumer unit and thus in the event it trips, it will trip before my consumer units RCD’s Thus saving me the effort of having to go all the way to my consumer unit to reset the RCD’s in the event my extension/appliance gets wet or faulty
