If your reading this then you you have knowledge of flow ropes and why the rrp is what it is.
Plenty of videos on you tube on how to use these ropes but as a extra the manufacturer of these flow ropes have included video tutorials from easy/medium/hard.
Do watch the videos 1st before using your rope so you get the best experience of this.
Excellent quality, as a 1st time flow roper i found the videos easy to follow and was very impressed with the not only the quaity of the materials used in this rope but the beenfits of usinf a flow rope.
You can feel the quality just by taking these straight out the box, I like the fact you have 3 levels of weight distinguished by the different colours so do read the product info in the box where it shows the weight of each rope and what category they fall into.
I have the green rope which is medium weight which is perfect for me and it really does give my upper body a great workout.

It’s really hard to describe a flow rope to someone who doesn’t already know about them, probably also because I’m not quite sure myself. Perhaps it could be described as some beautiful blend of skipping, battle ropes, and maybe even a little Tai-Chi.

Being extremely uncoordinated I’m still really struggling to nail even the simplest of moves, but I can’t argue that it is a relaxing and deceptively intense exercise.

The rope itself is exquisitely crafted, durable, easy to grip and with immaculate finishing. While I can’t argue that the price is high, it feels like a solid piece of gym-quality kit and is a fantastic low-impact exercise to have a go at.

If you’re already a flow roper then you won’t be disappointed on any level with this, if on the other hand you’re a flow noper check out some of the many tutorials on YT and give it a go.

This is a very high quality rope that will last a long while.

Rope exercise is great fun and this provides a really great workout that you can customise, make interesting and adapt to your needs.

If you are interested in this, my suggestion is that you look at their website where they have a quiz which would recommend which rope may be useful for you depending on your requirements e.g. if you are new to this, if you are looking for strength building exercise or just getting more in the flow and being mindful. This will help determine the rope e.g. some ropes are lighter.

You can see great care has been put to make the rope and in addition they have a website which is provided in the box where you can get the basic training to use the rope. So for the price this is great that you also get video training on how to use this.

If you want to try something different for your workouts then rope exercise is great to try. It does take some getting used to and initially whilst learner the moves you can get the rope hitting you but it is great fun and it makes for a very versatile exercise protocol. Highly recommend this.

I got the red ropes. It is weighted, and feels really good in the hands. I like that it comes with access to basic tutorials. You can however just you tube it and there are tons of videos.
The tutorials were easy to follow, and its a really great addition to other work out like your hiit /weigh training etc. This will allow you to open up your shoulders and helps with any aches and pain you have.
You can also practise mindfulness with this too. I have really enjoyed using these ropes.

The rope itself is made to a very high standard. No fraying, super strong and sturdy. It will last a very long time. I also love the colour.
I would highly recommend this fun exercise with these high quality ropes. It is a tad expensive at 65 and would be good if its cheaper.

I never heard of rope flow before, after trying for a few weeks I think it’s really hard but rewarding.
Getting moves perfect is not that easy, but after practising and getting them right, it feels very nice.
It’s definitely a fun way to spend some time moving around! Basically doing exercise without realising it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWasn’t sure about this, but decided to try it out. It’s a lot of money for a bit of rope, but it’s very good quality, and nicely finished. Also doesn’t seem to tangle up, so much better than using some random piece of rope.
Lots of free tutorials on YouTube to get going.
Surpringly tiring using the heavier rope – about 5 minutes and I’m feeling the effort.
The skills can be challenging, but it’s an addictive experience.
Overall, I can see this being an exercise routine I’ll stick with, and it’s easy to take with you if you’re away.

I’ve been using this flow rope for a few weeks now and it is absolute quality. It’s heavier than I expected but that’s a good thing in this case, as it ensures I get the full benefit from working out with it.

It is relatively expensive at the current price of 60 but I think this is worth it as it is a quality fitness aid. Highly recommended.

It’s definitely well made with quality of material. The rope is heavy and very solid. And at the both ends of the rope, they are capped with quality metal. The detail just so brilliant. Highly recommend.

You can feel it’s very good quality and extremely nicely finished. It comes with a lovely fabric carrier bag that feels like rich cotton.
On their website you get quite a bit of useful information, like how to shorten the rope and few tutorials which is an added bonus.
In terms of price I think it’s a bit expensive but I can see how this particular rope has the right flexibility and weight to work for these kind of excercise, it does take quite a lot of skill and practice, so I’d recommend to try this kind of training before buying the rope. It doesn’t require much strength but good coordination and a fair amount of space.
I’m happy I’ve tried it, I think it’s a good entertaining training for the summer months.

    Very good quality

I never heard of a flow rope exercises before and was a bit sceptical. But I found it super fun outdoors workout. As it improves mobility, joint health, improves cardio and enhance the athletism I think this type of workout is not only great and fun for younger peeps but it is perfect for 50+ or for people to recover after injuries and certain surgeries. Some of more complicated exercises definitely trains your brains and definitely reduce stress and anxiety. I would love to see a some sort of introductionary leaflet about the rope once opened the box.

I Think this is by the far the most expensive skipping rope i have ever see.

Its very well made and feels very nice in the hand.

No handles just he rope in your hands.

It moves very smoothly when skipping. Appears to be very strong and braided.

I can see how this is more like a dance than the traditional skipping.

Given the 60 price tag at time of writing I’d have expected quite detailed instructions in the branded box this arrived in. But you can only access a 3 stage module through the Octomoves website – and any further modules need to be purchased.

I’d not previously used a flow rope like this Flowzilla. I must say it looks and feels very well made with the ends finished off to prevent fraying and a decent weight to it. The weight is important because it means that when exercising you naturally tend to use the rope slowly and with flowing movements.

I’m enjoying using the Flowzilla. In some ways it brings to mind the kind of exercise you’d get from Pilates – not strenuous but slow and rhythmic movement. I like too that rope swinging seems to take me to another place which I guess is down to it being repetitive and very different from the rest of my life.

I have cervical spondylosis and feel it is benefitting my neck and shoulder region. Flow roping is suitable for a wide range of people with physical issues and worth investigating if intensive cardio workouts are not for you.

I thought that when you pay 60 it comes with free course as part of the cost. But this beginner course is for everyone and you can watch it on the site for free. It contains 3 levels and after that if you want to continue improving your skills you have to buy another course for 30-50. So you pay 60 only for a rope. Yes, the quality is amazing but anyway it’s extremely expensive for a rope!! The price for this shouldn’t be more than 25 in my opinion.

Also i didn’t like most of videos in the course. I understand that people who made this are professionals but for beginners like me it was too fast, too difficult to repeat exercises. For me there is not enough slow motions and videos from the back.
Yes, this is very good for mobility and for reducing back pain but obviously not for this price.

    Overpriced

Partner is super happy with this as one of his friends has on of the other ropes from Octo and is great for working out areas very effectively that you don;t work out in the same way using weights or equipment at the gym, Really great quality, very tightly woven and nice movement that makes all the different workouts you can do with this very easy to manouvre.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFlow roping isn’t exclusive to OCTOMOVES, they’ve merely made a quality rope that is weighted just right, this means it’s not too light that you’re not going to feel anything and not overly heavy that movements burn you out too quickly. There are many positive testimonials online about flow roping in general, with claims that it can help improve your cardiorespiratory fitness, flexibility, strength and more.

As previously mentioned, the quality of the rope is very good, with the rope itself feeling durable and features metal end caps to prevent fraying.

Whilst I get these ropes are hand made, a price tag of 60 (at the time of review) is a lot of money to spend on a rope, so you would expect a full premium exercise module included. You don’t quite get that, instead you get is a 3 staged training module (viewable through their website) before being offered further modules at an additional cost.

Anyone thinking about getting one of these ropes, make sure you are fully committed in learning, otherwise you’re essentially buying a glorified rope. Some of the flow rope movements can be hard to master (even the basics); mastering is important as the continuous flow and increasing of speed is what essentially makes it into a workout.

Personally, I’m struggling with the movements as I learn better being shown in person, but I’m not giving up yet; my lack of ability to learn is not due to the rope, however, I feel their instructional videos could potentially be improved a bit further.

So to wrap things up; do your own researched on flow roping and see if whether it’s something for your before making a commitment.

If you feel your shoulders are very tired after a long day at work, you can try to relax your shoulders with this Training Modules. Although you will find it a little difficult to operate in the early stage, and you will feel that the swinging posture is not very coordinated, but keep exercising, you will feel that your shoulder muscles have been well relaxed. And there are no jumping, bouncing, or shaking joints in its workouts.
The ropes are made of heavy duty nautical double braided ropes for optimum performance and air resistance and are very strong.
An excellent low-impact exercise tool that tones your body and relieves sore muscles and stiff joints.

    Challenging

The rope is strong, well woven. The ends of the rope are securely fastened. Good development of arm muscles. My arms get tired from training and i have a hard time training. But learning captivates with its ease and simplicity. My advise!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have been going to the gym on and off for decades, and since the Covid-19 pandemic I discovered the benefits (in some ways) of exercising from home. I have had many types of exercise equipment, but swinging a rope about is a first for me.

The quality of the rope is very good, it is soft to the touch and is tactile, but it does feel a little alien from a point of view of exercising, and I am not sure what the long term health benefits will be, or whether I will keep it up; only time will tell with both.

The rope comes with some free introduction videos across three levels. This takes some getting used to, and, unless you are naturally well coordinated, it will take quite a bit of practice.

The flow rope as it is called will be a good exercise for people wanting a low impact cardiovascular workout and there are four choices of rope, although I suspect the crossover in benefits is quite close as there is not a huge difference in rope weights.

All in all, this seems a pretty good idea, and it makes a nice change, it is however an exercise plan for outdoors really, unless you have a lot of space indoors with high ceilings, so this may make it unappealing to some, and will possibly discount winter workouts for many.

Whilst the quality of the rope (and the storage bag) is good, I think that 60.00 is quite overpriced and may put a lot of people off.

Unlike any Exercise I Have Done Before

New piece of equipment to play around with. Very good quality the different colors ropes are weighted differently. The exercise with the ropes got me out of breath the first time i tried it so must be getting me to work. I feel that it is working my upper and core muscle not so much my legs. so this could potentially be used seated (shorted the rope to a suitable length) for anyone with leg or lower limb issues.

This is a great rope – strong, slick and a good weight.

It’s well made, with secure knots and caps on the ends.

It comes with a handy cloth bag to keep it in.

You also get information online about how to make good use of the rope in exercises, though of course you can look up videos online for free anyway.

A rope like this is worth investing in, but I wouldn’t pay more than 20 for it and at the time of writing this review it costs 60 which would be poort value for money.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI was intrigued by this and after a quick look at rope flow online decided to give it a try. It’s hard to explain, as it’s essentially swinging a rope rhythmically around your body, but it is one of the most enjoyable workouts I’ve ever done. I regularly do yoga and running, but rope flow has quickly become a daily habit. Learning a few basic moves took perhaps ten minutes, but looking at some pro videos it’s clear that there are some real complexities here for those willing to invest time into practice.

I tend to do twenty minute sessions, and it really opens up the shoulders and back, while also giving a ‘toning’ feel on the arms (rather than a weights/building feel.) I have suffered from a lower back ache for some time now, which has certainly slowed my yoga practice, but rope flow feels very low impact and hasn’t been an issue. Once you get into a rhythm with a move that you’re comfortable with there is a very real sense of flow state if you allow it. Alternatively it can be practiced mindfully, with every movement and experienced consciously. Whichever way you do it, it is very fun once it clicks.

In terms of the rope itself (I use “Phoenix”, the heavier red one), it feels great in the hand and has a pleasant weight to it. The material quality is good, and the ends have a branded metal tip. Weighing in at 500g it does offer some resistance in the air (as well as a pleasing swooping sound on certain moves) and you can feel it working muscles. After just one session it was clear that the quality of the rope is important, and I can imagine it would feel a lot different with a lighter or thinner alternative rope. So yes it’s a rope, but it’s also perfectly developed for this exercise.

So glad I found this. I can feel the benefits already.

Fantastic quality and very light. Perfect for those that are getting into skipping with wanting to do lots of tricks. Would suit someone from any level but great for those that want to do it on a more serious or committed level such as wanting to learn or do jump rope dance. Rope is definitely not cheap, but seeing how easily it flows I would definitely say it’s justified. Seen far more expensive ones. Love the choices of colour and the names given to the ropes. Definitely sets the mood for the workout. Love it!

I’ll level with you – before ordering this item I had honestly never heard of a Flow Rope. The product came beautifully boxed with washing and care instructions in the base plus a QR link to some branded YouTube video demonstrations. It’s certainly something you’ll need to do outdoors – in a garden or an empty(ish) open space as the rope can whip round a fair amount.

I have used it two or three times now and I must admit that my technique hasn’t hugely improved – I am still whacking myself on the head with it, but as with anything, time and practice will reap due reward. I like its portability, plus it’s an exercise which really seems to limber me up.

A good piece of kit – beautifully made and nicely packaged – the fabric carrying bag is a nice touch.

felt awkward just swinging rope round but after a few videos got used to a few different exercises you kind of get into the rhythm of it and it doesn’t look or feel as bad, pricey but well made
