As soon as I received it. I charged the joypad. It charged very quick. So I gave it my grandson as he needed it. Great value and very sturdy.
After trying many different charging stations over the years, this by far is the most robust yet. Lead’s are a nice feature and the slim look sits well next to the gaming machine

Fits both controllers perfectly, charges them while PS4 is off so both of them always have full battery! Much better and safer than cables!
charges up 2 controllers at once in no time at all , frees up room as you can just leave your spare controllers in it and not have them plugged in so keeps place a little bit tidie
Using the bottom ports will mean the controller lasts longer as the mini charger port is know to go wobbly and fail in time. Build quality good
I’ve had issues charging 2 of my sons ps4 chargers , I stumbled across this method using the lower post instead of the normal mini usb charge point. They now charge perfectly and are neat and tidy.

USB charger just needs an adapter or plug it into a USB port. Controller charged in about two hours.

Easy to use, charging around 2hours something like that , so what i can to say, enjoy and that’s it.
Bang on for value for money. Easy to use, cheap and well made. It works with a USB connection to PS4 itself so doesn’t need connecting to a mains plug, although it could perhaps be charged by a cell phone charger, too.
Charges two controllers. Nice and neat. No issues at all but you do need the playstation to be on for the charging to happen. Good purchase for any game
Takes away all the cables lying about. Keeps everything tidy.
Charges from the headphone port. Saved us buying new controllers as the micro usb charger ports on our controllers have been used so much they do not function properly.
