Oven bulb that was easy to fit and gives good light.
Too early to evaluate longevity.
It is an oven lamp. For the entire duration I have observed it, it never ceased to look like an oven lamp. It illuminates my dinner while it roasts. 11/10 would recommend!
How on earth do you do a review about a blub? This was my Neff slide n hide oven. Works well and a quarter of the price from an identical one from Neff.
These bulbs are a bit fiddly to install but that is a problem with the design not unique to this bulb. Seems to be working fine
Still working as of Feb 22. I’m still burning pizzas despite the bulb clearly showing them blackening.
Simple to fit and an ideal replacement lamp for my AEG Oven.
I bought a spare, so that next time, I’m ready.

Just purchased so can’t comment on longevity very easy to insert into back of oven and now I have light whilst things are in the oven.. yeh!
Bought this for our AEG pyrolytic over as the other bulb had blown after 5 years. Removed the protective glass cover in the over and slotted the new bulb in place and replaced the cover. Worked instantly and has been fine ever since. Can’t comment on longevity as it’s only been in a couple of weeks but it should be fine.
Nice and bright, works as it should, can’t comment on longevity as I’ve not had it long.

Bought this to replace bulb in Neff hide and slide oven,which had failed after 5 years.Arrived in a couple of days and fits perfectly..Osram are a well known brand and the price was 70% cheaper than some of the so called official parts stores.Can’t say how long it will last but if I get anywhere near the original bulb I will be happy.
Very easy to remove and install light bulb, works well at oven temperatures, bright enough to see your roast and stopping it from burning!!!…..

Easy to install: not too easy but is due to the design of the Smeg oven, as the socket faces the inside of the oven not the outside so cannot see where the pins of the bulb are going

Bought this instead of one costing about three times as much on the Neff spares website. Seems to be exactly what we required, but can’t comment on the longevity yet. The original bulb lasted for about four years, so anything close to that would be a bonus.
Good value for money,I found some elsewhere for 8 and more. I only put the bulb in this week so will have to see how long they last. Bright light so you can see what’s cooking.

Perfect replacement for original, blown bulb. Can’t speak for longevity – that remains to be seen.
Wasn’t too sure what I was going to get for the price but it arrived in an Osram box and seemed a genuine replacement. has been fitted for six weeks, ok so far.
Had this replacement halogen lamp in the oven for several months now. No issues work as it should. Like to have light in the oven to keep an eye on what’s cooking. Pleased with my purchase can highly recommend.
Fitted in nicely. Works perfectly, 2 months, so far, so good.
Only issue is the package being quite soft, could do with thicker rigid cardboard .
Other than that all good.

It’s a lamp does what it’s designed to do well. Re longevity I cannot comment, but it’s fro Osram so I expect it to be good.

Can’t really comment on longevity until it breaks. Was worried when it arrived in squashed flimsy packaging but it was intact and has worked for a week so far with no issue.
Arrived on time, identical to the old one in my Neff oven and has been working for around 4 months to date and bearing in mind the oven is on and off several times a day I think it’s been good value for money so far.
Very good product, replaced some frosted bulbs I had in a standard lamp. And are much brighter.
So pleased that I found a lamp that fitted my oven, and that it works.

make certain that the lamp is pushed FIRMLY into the slot OTHERWISE it wont work !!!

Oven manufacturer recommended 25watt bulb for replacement, ordered this 40watts one after taking measurements to see it fitted. Glad I bought it. I can see clearly what’s happening in the oven.
Arrived as advised. Bulb box a bit squashed but the bubble wrap protected them. Fitted okay in the oven and still working.
My oven bulb needed replacing and this looked like a good replacement, turns out I was right. Not sure how long it’s going to last so that’s why I can’t comment on it’s longevity.
Perfect and it can take geat up to 400c as my oven clean itself at the temperature. So I can verify it is perfect for ovens.
I am no stranger to DIY and it was straight forward selecting the right lamp as a replacement for our oven. It was a bit awkward to fit and the lamp legs being soft are prone to bending when pushing home in the fitting. But I managed it and it works, so all is good until the next time, as in my experience these types of lamp don’t last long in use as oven lamps, not the fault of the lamp maker but the selection by the oven manufacturer.
Bulb come today and is in and working when opening package the box it was in was squashed nearly flat but luckily bulb okay Royal Mail useless even thou package had fragile o
Genuine item from a trusted brand however lamp failed after 5 weeks. I contacted the supplier and they were most pleasant and shipped a replacement immediately.

If you own a Hotpoint Model: SA2840PIX Oven then you will note that the official Bulb they sell (20.99) is outrageously priced as is of no better quality than any other oven bulb.
This bulb is an OSRAM branded bulb which is considered the best bulb supplier world wide, it fitted perfectly and i think it is slightly brighter than the original bulb at a fraction of the price.
Delivery was very quick although the packaging wasn’t great to secure a bulb from breaking the inner bulb box was very squashed but the bulb was intact.
I can’t comment on the longevity yet but it’s the perfect fit and brightness, so far so good. To be fair, for the price, if it lasts 12 months I’ll be very happy.
OK. Packaging left the box squashed but the bulb seems OK. Delivery was 2 days late but with the current situation this was reasonable. Easy to change.
Exactly the same bulb as the one provided by Neff but at a fraction of the cost, 2 bulbs for less than half the price of one from Neff
Not sure how long this will last as only just replaced the blown bulb. Arrived in small envelope, which for amazon is unusual. Everything normally arrives in oversized boxes. Initially thought it might be damaged but works fine
The dark ages were over. The renaissance had began. A new band of heros emerged the pasta bake, chicken chargrill , pepperoni pizza and their leader, dine in for 2 indian curry. But that’s a tale for another day when …. OSRAM returns.
It’s an oven lamp, it lights the oven, how I can rate it for its longevity after a few weeks I don’t know.

I can’t comment on the longevity, but after a couple of weeks’ usage it seems fine. Easy to fit into my Zanussi oven. It functions at all temperatures, including over 200C.
Edit: 8 months on, it is still alight.
Not been in that long so can’t comment on longevity. LED would be better but it seems they can’t handle the heat (so should get out of the kitchen). Great price
Good light and easy to fit in my Hotpoint oven. Should last 2 years, but the last one only lasted for 6 months, so you’d better buy a few at a time – unless you only use your oven about once or twice a month.
Fast delivery , well packaged. Would have preferred a clear bright white bulb, but it appears most bulbs these day’s are ” Warm White “. Does what it is meant to do (light the oven) we will have to wait and see if the 2000 hrs average life span is indeed correct.
Problem is the fitting chosen but Neff is difficult to fit the bulb, why don’t they use LEDs through a window??
It it arrived in a bubble wrap envelope, though the boxes were squashed. The lightbulbs (25W and 40W) are in perfect working condition. I only installed the 40W one for now and it is very bright.
I would definitely recommend these products. In case the burn prematurely I will come back and edit the review.
Bought for use in an aeg competence cooker. Half the price of other suppliers. Works perfectly. Note all these bulbs are rated to 300 deg c and this cooker has a heat cleaning option. I will take out the bulb when I next do this as I believe this cooker gears to about 500 deg c. I believe this is why the original bulb blew so quickly after purchase.
First time I’ve ever had to replace an oven bulb, so I was a bit unsure when looking at all the options. This didn’t match the model number I had exactly (for a Smeg SC436X-8) but it seemed like exactly the right one so I went for it. Glad I did – it is clearly marked FOR OVEN USE on the box, I fitted it in seconds, and it’s lighting up my oven better than ever.
