This is the second one I have bought (I lost the first one!) and I couldn’t manage without it. It’s a miracle worker if your dog pulls. It’s hard to believe but it’s like magic. My large dog is very strong and pulls on a normal lead and even on a harness which attaches to the lead on her back. This was recommended to me and I haven’t looked back. We take our dog on holidays with us and when mooching around towns it is a Godsend! Don’t know how it works – but it does!

Bought for a leash-reactive dog who tends to lunge at unfamiliar dogs. This harness gives me more control while I work on her behavior training, with the added bonus that she now walks beautifully on her lead under normal circumstances.
The harness is well-made and was easy to fit and adjust. Would definitely recommend.

I have a female mastiff, (M/L) and this lead has worked amazingly! She walks so much better, no longer pulls or tries to pull. Made walking so much easier as I have complete control and she doesn’t seem to be bothered by it either.

15 years of being pulled along by my Irish Red Setters are finally at an end. This harness is a wonder! I just wished I’d bought it before. But, after being pulled over I finally bought it and it’s one of the best things I’ve purchased in a long time. I watched the video’s on the Petsafe website and thought it was worth a try. It really does work. It is important to measure your dog correctly as the fit is all important. It needs to fit snugly so it won’t move. You are in control!

Brought to correct pulling on the leash for my GSD
    Easy to fit and adjust
Easy to put on just one clip when it’s time for walkies
    Corrected my dogs pulling behaviour
Really like how it clips on at the fro

I was recommended this by a friend who also had a dog that pulled, I received it yesterday and OMG it is such a clever piece of equipment. I brought the small/medium for my 10 kg cockerpoo and it fits perfectly and on first ever walk made such a difference, he seems a bit put out by it but none the less happier and I’m sure he will get used to the fact that he cant be dragging me along on his walk. The ultimate test was the walk to the park today where he is normally powering along trying to get there asap half chocking himself in the meantime. This time he was trotting along at my side but not quite making out why he couldn’t do what he normally does…hahah I’m sure he will get used to it.

I never find the time to write product reviews, know I should to help others but always forget despite my good intentions. This harness has changed my life! I have wasted hundreds on Halti/other more expensive harnesses trying to stop my 9 month old Sheepadoodle (Old English/Poodle cross) from pulling my arm out my socket. This harness gently pulls at his front and re establishes the communication between excited pooch and owner. It even worked when a squirrel scurried in front of us, normally I would have been horizontal with an event like this. Don’t waste your time with others, can’t believe it took me so long to find it!

This is a great harness and it certainly prevents pulling like magic. I bought a medium and it could do with being a bit smaller. It’s not as snug a fit as I think it should be but the sizing on the ‘small’ suggested it wouldn’t fit at all. I’dine To have been able to try it first.

This is a gift from the gods! My 2-year old collie used to relentlessly pull, making it almost impossibly to walk her at the same time as being out with my young children. With this harness she stopped pulling almost instantly! 10/10 would recommend

I bought this harness for my 3yr old spaniel. Walks on a lead with her have always been less than pleasant for the both of us (or whoever walks her) due to her incessant pulling. We had tried everything to get her to stop but nothing had worked, so we would just take her somewhere we could let her off lead. This harness is incredible! On our first time out she had almost completely stopped pulling, she was wagging her tail and a big smile on my face the whole way round. I am in absolute disbelief that one product could help so much after just one walk! Would recommend to anyone!!

Best harness I’ve ever used for my Airedales. Helps with the pulling, and they have never pulled out of them. Front leading, great value for money. Highly recommend
UPDATE: just after I wrote this I took my girl out and she pulled out of the harness. This is the first time in 3 + years this has happened, she’s pulled out of every other harness I’ve had (and that’s a lot)

This is amazing. My girl is very stocky and extremely strong. I had no control of her and this harness has now changed this! It makes walking my dogs pleasurable again. My only negative comment is, I measured her and got a large but I think I should have gone for a medium, but maybe I measured her wrong. It’s still great and makes my life a lot easier. Thank you

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersBought this after our gundog trainer recommended it. Our 9 month old Lab was struggling to heel, this does not stop him pulling but it stops his neck being strangled by his traditional lead! Now he walks well at my side with a few bits to iron out before he heels nicely and can go back on a normal lead. If you are dubious about buying a harness like I was, thinking that they promote lazy dog training then don’t worry, as was explained by our trainer, it is about getting the pup used to being at your side not strangling him until he obeys! Once he walks at my heel nicely he will transition onto a normal lead. As I said, this does not stop him pulling but it gives you more control of the pull and allows you to bring him back to where he needs to be rather than yanking him this way and that confusing the process. The lead included also has a decent length on i

Best thing I have ever bought. Long story short our big lab became uncontrollable on the lead. (Spooks easy) I feel so much more in control and so does he. We are now getting to the point that he stays with me and he watches me. I believe the lead and harness has made him aware of this due to when he pulls the harness pulls him to the side stopping him. So much better for his neck and my arms.

Got the medium for a lab / springer cross. Only just fit. Tried a large and shrunk it and it fit perfectly.
Able to walk the dog with one hand and very little pulling, still a long way to go but making walks a bit more enjoyable and dog is finally getting the idea not to pull as much as she did.

Worked well for my Beagle who pulls a lot. He is much better at walking and when he does try to pull, I feel as though I have more control and I don’t have to pull him back as hard to stop him. Kinder than a face harness and worked better for us. Bought a medium but had to adjust the harness myself as even on the smallest adjustment it was slightly too big for my dog but the smaller one would have been too small.

I have a havanese who is very low to the ground and pulls. Having tried many front attaching harnesses this is the only one which has worked well. It’s not perfect, you have to be careful the lead doesn’t go under her leg, but the lead and clasp are small and light so not as to interfere with her walking.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWe have used the Easy Walk harness on our Wolfhounds for years. Prior to finding these, we tried the “head halti” types & they were not satisfactory. I hated the way they rode up & irritated the mouth & eyes & yanked their necks when they pulled. These harness’ work really well as there is no chance of a neck injury & they don’t irritate the face.
Although our breed grow so very quickly, we have bought a medium sized one for our puppy & no doubt it will only last a couple of months before we buy him an XL one.

    Overall, a brilliant produc

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this for a friends dog who is terrible on the leash. My friend broke his ribs and his wrist walking this dog. The dog is year old, slim border collie mix. I bought the medium which fitted him really. I wanted them to have a way to control him whilst they work on his training to stop him pulling. So far this has worked great. He can still pull but because its at the front he gets a bit confused and cant work out why the pressure is coming from the front. Walks have been much more enjoyable.

This harness was recommended to me by a dog trainer for my large male Dalmatian who pulled badly on the lead. I had tried lots of others before this (halti, shoulder harness etc) but the beauty of this harness is that it connects at the chest. This stops my dog being able to pull from his shoulders and literally worked within minutes. We have been using it for over a year (twice daily for a minimum of hour) and he has never had any issues with chaffing although I measured and fitted it carefully from the outset. I would definitely recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe had tried a number of harnesses and things to get our dog to stop pulling. He is about 25kgs in weight and has a fair bit of strength when he wants to pull so had become a real issue. Once we had a kid we needed to find a solution. Luckily when we got a new dog walker they said they wouldn’t be able to take him unless we bought one of these. So we did so thinking it wouldn’t work but we would be showing willingness to try to fix it. But amazingly this did the job perfectly. He doesn’t fight to have it taken off and walks nicely beside you now. Couldn’t walk him without it.

Recommended by my puppy class leader, and has adjusted to grow with him, he walks nicely on this though it’s awkward to get used to a front chest position for the walker for a while. Leaves the dog free to move easily and fully. He seems happy enough in it..

    Worth a try.

One of many types of harnesses to help stop dogs pulling at the lead. I found it pretty effective, but my dog is a strong puppy and wants to explore and walk faster than me, so does still pull a bit with it on, but not so much as he does without it. It is simple to adjust to the size of our dogs and with one quick release fastening, simple to put on and take off the dog. I like the longer lead that came with it.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersI never wrote reviews – even if something is completely satisfactory – or great even.
But this is brilliant!!!! Life changing!
My springer spaniel has always been impossible on the lead and no amount of stppping, turning away, figure of 8 models, canny collars, Halties have helped. I tried everything going.
I am getting another springer pup next week and the thought of two dragging me down the road filled me with dread. Yes, I could drive to a nearby field or beach but there’s nothing quite the relaxed trot along a cycle path – or quick nip to the shop which I could never do with my 8 year old spaniel.
I was recommended this product from a Facebook friend. The science seemed believeable, and not a too hefty price tag so took a chance.
I thought I would try it for the worst possible situation. Just got in from work and the pooch was excitable. I needed to pick up milk – I know a 5 minute walk would not be enough but wanted to see if it worked at the worst time. BOY it did.
No arm being yanked from socket, no blisters where he has Yanked the lead from my grasp, no being pulled over (yes it’s happened) when stopping to pick up a poo! And no horrible sound of choking and gasping from my dog!
I even got to see what this loose leash walking was about!!!!
Highly recommend this and thank you – walking will now be much more pleasureable and will be buying another for the new dog!!!

I love it! Hearing Dogs for Deaf People recommended it for my miniature poodle Hearing Dog who pulls and this is an issue with me using a wheelchair. Canine Partners dogs all use this. It has been fantastic – no training needed, the dog adapted immediately. If I accidentally put his lead on his collar, he pulls and then I realise I have not clipped it to the Easy Walk harness. I recommend it to EVERYONE. I am going to buy one for a friend’s dog. This is GREAT!

Very helpful item and nice material.

Our walks got longer since we got it because it is not as tiring anymore. Of course it is not a magical item and our dog is trying to pull as much as she used to do but she cannot put much pressure. (We got it couple of days ago and working on it, we are yet to see improvement in the behavior).

Much easier to tie and untie compare to our previous harness, which was a traditional body fitted type.

Finally, we did not observe any sign of discomfort on the dog’s side, she seems to like it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought two of these harnesses for my Bearded Collies and gave the four stars as it does exactly what it promises to do, stop your dog from pulling. I would have given the product five stars but unfortunately as others have found they cause sores under the armpits of my dogs. I am going to try some lagging to put over the harness in that area and hope it will rectify the problem……

Arrived promptly, love the new colour, medium/large fits a Golden-doodle perfectly. Fantastic quality, strong and durable harness & lead for an amazing price, washes up as new, no seams or sharp edges on inside of harness & does what it says on the tin…..dog walks beautifully beside me, with little or no pulling at all.
Have read many negative reviews on these harnesses, saying they rub & cause sores, but if you make sure it fits correctly, and inspect areas where it is in contact with your dog regularly & use common sense all will be good! Happy pup, happy huma

My dog is so much calmer on our walks. As a young retriever she can be very excitable. She was almost always walking with a loose lead when we bought this harness but only when there wasn’t any distractions! Now I have much more confidence walking past other dogs/people without her pulling towards them. She did learn quickly however that if she stops and pulls sideways the harness isn’t that effective!

We have used the easy walk for our collie puppy, who is bouncy and used to pull a lot. The harness works very well to discourage pulling with the loop worn in the front. We have found it keeps out pup’s attention focussed more on us — whenever he lunges ahead his weight is pulled back to our legs. You can also rotate the harness so the loop is on the dog’s back, if you prefer to walk that way.
It’s constructed from good quality straps, I think it is sturdier than it looks in the amazon photo.
The harness comes with a small lead (nice bonus!) which we found a bit too thin for every-day use, but is a great back-up to have on hand.

Does the trick (new it would as I had a similar one which the dog chewed on so was replacement). Just recently have been told that have to be careful in situations where the dog does still start pulling hard on the leash (rarely, when it sees a rabbit or wants to play with another dog) as was told it can hurt his shoulder. Thinking of getting a normal collar additionally so I canm changeover the leash in those cases.

I bought this for my little jack Russell, we have tried all sorts over the years to try and stop her pulling on the lead, and his is the only harness that works! Overall we are very pleased with the harness but have only given it 4 stars due to the fact that despite measuring according to pet safes website it still isn’t the best fit, maybe we have an odd size dog but she frequently gets one of her front legs the wrong side of the chest strap, which doesn’t seem to stay tight.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBought for my Staffordshire Bull Terrier who loves to pull on the leash. He was very confused the first time we went for a walk with this because as soon as he pulled ahead, the harness redirected him back towards me and I’ve never seen him look more confused! This happened a few more times and he always ended up getting turned back towards me. He soon learned and now He walks nicely beside me (most of the time) and my arms no longer hurt after a long walk! A bit more training though!

This is a great invention and it does work it stops pulling dramatically and makes walks so much more enjoyable, one thing I would say is remember to take the harness off the dog as soon as you get home as I’ve been caught out twice now and my puppy has chewed through the breast part of the harness in a minute, it would be so much better if they could design it in leather, I did get a full refund from Amazon the first time waiting to hear about the second. But it’s so good I’ve ordered a third one and I’m not going to make the same mistake again.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am so pleased with this harness. My wilful cocker spaniel doesn’t walk well on a back-fastening harness as he pulls against it – I think he is trying out to be one of santa’s reindeer pulling a sleigh or something!!! With this front fastening harness he doesn’t really pull at all – it’s unbelievable really. Something about how it is worn just makes him either not want to pull or not able to. It’s still comfortable for him to wear, I can see he is not in any discomfort from it. If he does try and pull or dash forward it is very easy to turn him to face you, and most importantly for me does not pull or strain my arm/shoulder – when wearing the other harness he used to really jolt & hurt my arm/shoulder, whereas now he’s a pleasure to walk. Amazing.

This is the 3rd Easy Walk harness I’ve bought for my miniature poodle who pulls like hell with an ordinary collar or harness. I bought the first one on the recommendation of the dog behaviourist I consulted and it was excellent advice. Another customer said it chafed her dog – yes it does but to avoid that I made a fleece tube to encase the under strap and no more rubbing. I’d recommend having 2 or 3 as with this wet winter it’s not good to put a wet harness on your dog.

Have a strong GSD-X who LOVES nothing more than pulling against a back harness like her life depended on it… this stops her doing so.
It also makes her think twice about chasing cats and squirrels, as when she hits the limit of her extender lead she gets flipped round like a hand-break turn.
Best of all, the dog sees to like it (she’s always keen and excited with it comes out) so it must be comfortable enough for her too.

This worked immediately for my 33kg Labradoodle. And he really seems to like it. Was excited to see it after the first walk!!!! The Halti head collar worked excellently too…but he obviously hated it ’cause hid every time I went to put it on. And the Lupi harness was okay, but didn’t stop pulling, just made it more difficult for him to do so….I must admit (embarrassed face) that I put the harness on upside down the first time I used it, with the grey bit on his back….I thought it was a bit baggy, and that I’d ordered the wrong size….but it still worked fantastically. Now that I have readjusted it and have it on the right way round it’s even better!…So much so that I have now ordered a second one for my other doodle, only joined us a few days ago, as I think she will love it too.
No discomfort or rubbing, but I will keep an eye on it due to reading other reviews.
I have only given it 4 stars as I agree that it would give peace of mind if it had some fleece or padding under the armpits and I think that though the free lead is a nice touch, it seems unnecessary to include it and the cost of that could go on padding instead!

This harness is just fantastic. We have a German Shepherd cross Husky puppy, who is very big and likes to think he leads the walks. He used to pull on a normal lead and would somehow manage to bite through other harnessess, or even point blank refuse to wear one. This one does the job, he no longer pulls and he is happy to wear it. Would recommend it everytime.

A bit fiddly to adjust and fit on the dogs correctly but well worth it. Harnesses with the ring on the back give dogs far too much control and pulling power. These harnesses give control back to the owner without damaging the necks of small breed dogs.

Bought these for my 2 as I have damaged back and cannot take them pulling. I had tried previous ‘no pull’ harnesses to no effect. This one looked lightweight and insubstantial but worked straight away and is easy to fit and put on. No rubbing as mentioned in some posts (though my dogs are hairy). Great product for the money.

I bought it after numerous harness that only last a few moths with my Springer Spaniel. It definitely helps in the pulling but as all harness it’s not 100% effective. It seems so far more solid than the others. My only concern is the fact that it rubs under his legs which I am hoping won’t get worse. My conclusion is we need to spend time on a proper training for him to stop pulling and to heel. The non-pull harness are just a temporary solution.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought one of these on recommendation from a friend-it has totally changed our daily walk! I have a lively 2 year old staffie who will pull on her lead all day and has nearly had me in the road a few times. The very first time I used the harness I was able to walk her normally at my speed without all my ribs aching after the walk! Definitely get one of these if like us the daily walk is becoming a chore rather than fun! The only thing that I would say against the product is that it did initially rub Rosie’s armpits a bit but as it’s being used it’s softening up a bit and doesn’t seem to be bothering her now.

Made a huge difference to my dog pulling but rubbed him under the armpits – would be great if it was padded

Bought this for my Brittany who was pulling badly with his last harness. Was worried it didn’t look very comfy but he seems unfased by it. Easy to fit, quick delivery and most importantly completely stopped his ability to pull!! Would recommend!!

It’s pretty great, seems to have stopped my 6m/o lab puppy from pulling, they’re not a magic bullet, but they’re pretty damn impressive.

Sizing seems odd – i measured my pup behind the legs but ended up needing a size up from the one i ordered, not only that, but it only seems to fit when i put it on upside down, which is odd.

    Overall though, yeah – fantastic!

Takes a while to figure out how to adjust and fit but works pretty well when on.
This is not going to make your dog walk perfectly to heel but it is a good way to prevent your dog pulling you everywhere.
Training alongside is necessary but would probably render the harness ineffectual!

I’ve not tried this particular one on my dog as it’s to replace his first Easy Fit Harness. My dog chewed through the harness in the car
(a new habit), where I didn’t tighten it up across the chest. Back to harness, I have a disability, and found that I could walk my dog in comfort, without him taking me for a walk. For me the “Easy Walk Harness” wins 100%.

It really works I have a large akita who use to pull but after trying the harness a few times he now walks at the side of me most of the time .Just a word of warning you get a lead with this harness I would advice any one with a big dog to spend a little extra and buy a better lead as mine snapped . But the harness seems strong enough and at end of day that’s what I wanted aharness the lead was not expected so over all very good

Once initial adjustments have been made it’s easy to put on. Walking on lead is much improved. I don’t think the description mentions it but It also comes with a lead.

The harness is working ok for me, but it certainly hasn’t been the “miraculous cure” to stop my dog from pulling that some previous previous comments have suggested.

Does what it says on the tin. Great value, probably not as sturdy as the original Halti, but more than capable of controlling an ordinary dog. My dog is very pulley and this harness works well.

I have bought this for our 9 month old Springer that pulls us around from post to post..In the past I have tried different harnesses but didn’t work at all. This one didn’t stop the pulling completely but stopped him pulling our arms out!! It gave us more control over his pulling. Our walks are more enjoyable now. I don’t think there is any harness that stops dogs pulling unless you have the time and energy and money to train your dog!! For us the harness made a big change but didn’t stop him pulling tho..

We have a very large Labrador/Staffie cross.. He is a gentle dog but very strong.. and he used to take me for walk rather than me taking him.. So i bought the Easy Walk Harness and would thoroughly recommend it as he is now much much better.. Hardly any pulling now at all, which makes our walks much more enjoyable.. 🙂

This is the best Harness I have tried , and I have tried them all !!! I truly have !!

Just waiting for another to be delivered for pup number 2 !!

To be fair it dosnt stop pulling , but helps reduce pulling and I have found it helps you gain the dogs attention , which is really needed for them to engage with a guided walk, otherwise my pups will lead the way ..in their way …… you still need to be training whilst using this as a helpful tool
    Definitely impressed

Thankyou …better walking days ahead .

Walking with my cockapoo puppy was getting impossible, he just wanted to get everywhere at top speed. The ordinary collar and lead was causing him to choke and I was stopping every few strides to get him to listen and then he was off again pulling for England. The Petsafe easy walk harness has changed all that, he still pulls but I have more control. The ring that you attach the lead to is situated at the front and sits flat on his chest so that when you pull back it brings the dog around gently to face you. I highly recommend this harness, just take a little time to fit it properly which is really easy. I still use the collar and lead in short bursts for training but when I want a nice relaxing walk I use the pet harness.
I also think that using the pet harness has helped with training as we are not in a permanent fight and the puppy is able to concentrate on my commands.

Easy to use and keep clean. Excellent to help train my dog to walk to heel. My dog walks obediently by my side all the time with with no problem when in the harness. The harness prevents my dog from trying to rush forward but it seems very kind because there is never any straining on the neck as with a collar. I would recommend this product to everyone.

I purchased this for a Toy Poodle x King Charles Cavalier, who had previously been walked in a back-leading harness, which had taught him to pull and lead plunge (despite clicker training a LLW). He’s a small dog, but he can generate a lot of pulling force in a back-leading harness. Initially I ordered the “small” size, which proved to be too big (because I was silly and chose not to measure my dog), but I thought it looked well made so I exchanged it for the next size down (extra small), which does fit. The size of the buckles, webbing and sliders does vary according to what size harness your dog requires.

This harness does not perform miracles; it will not result in a dog which instantly heels (that’s what training is for), but for me it did result in a dog I could walk (well, this might be a minor miracle!). Now if he tries to pull the amount of force he generates is a lot more manageable, and he’s also more likely to re-orientate to me than he was whilst on a back-leading harness.

However there are downsides to this harness; the sliders used to adjust the length of the straps do loosen, especially the ones on the chest piece, since they are under the most tension. I think this problem might just be confined to the “extra small” size, since this is the only one which uses metal sliders – the other sizes use plastic and are less slippery. My dog is quite near the biggest size for this harness anyway, but if you need to significantly shorten the straps from their biggest setting there is a risk your dog could step out of the harness. (If your dog is fully grown you could just stitch the straps at the length you want, which would completely negate this problem).

Secondly the buckles are quite tight and fiddly compared to his previous harness (a Ferplast one ) – it requires a decent amount of pressing force to open them, which isn’t great if you have small fingers and a wriggly dog.

I’m not sure this is wearing as well as his previous harness; after a couple of months the webbing around the martingale part has begun to fray.

his harness is great for my strong pulling dog a great harness to use in crowds as you can steer your dog out of the way you might needed to use a double ended lead with this harness as some dogs can get out of them just as a safety measure but its worth giving this harness a try if you cant walk your dog because it pulls you my dog’s a springer and the medium fits ok with adjustments i use this harness on every walk now my hands dont hurt or my shoulders

Bought this for my sister who had rescued a Staffie and was have trouble taking it for a walk as it pulled all the time. It took a few attempts to get the correct fit with adjustments to the harness needed before it was in the correct position but when in place is was like a miracle – no pulling and walking the dog is no longer a nightmare. She has had a few comments from people thinking the harness is on the wrong way as the hook to attach the lead is on the fron of the dogs chest but she has recommended it to all he dog walking friends.

I have two border collie’s that are nine months old. When we go for walks with just a collar and lead the both pull like mad. From the first time we put these on they walk great. I did find them quite difficult to adjust especially on one of the dog’s who would not keep still for long, and after a couple of walks the front part goes a bit loose, but you just need to adjust which is easy, once adjusted they work great.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersBought a medium sized harness for my 4 month old puppy who can’t help herself when she’s walking past a person or dog… and it works perfectly! With just her collar, my puppy couldn’t care less if she’s pulling infront of me and choking herself. After sticking the harness on her, and taking it out for a test spin, it didn’t take long before my puppy decided to get up to her usual tricks. She pulled ahead when she seen the park – nope! – she was turned around and looking at me, all confused. After trying a couple more times, she figured out that she only ends up facing me.

After walking for a couple of days, puppy walks perfectly by my side and not in front of me anymore. She also doesn’t pull to get to other dogs, walking past them with just a look, sometimes a little pull so she’s facing towards you again.

    Definitely recommend this!

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our Userswe bought this style of harness to try & rehabilitate our recently adopted, serially rehomed rescue dog’s serious leash pulling. she accepted the harness with just a little positive reinforcement & has adjusted to it well. it has been a useful aid in curtailing her pulling sufficiently to begin doing some recall work with her, using a retractable leash. as with any training regime – particularly with a mature dog & many ingrained undesirable, antisocial behaviours needing rehabilitated – the harness is an aid, rather than an instant cure. trainee co-operation + a calm, patient & consistent trainer boost its effectiveness.
