I have left it a few weeks to try it out before reviewing. I have a 7 month old Patterdale terrier who pulls really bad. Walks were not a pleasure and I was repeatedly saying FFS every few minutes. The harness arrived (small) and I nearly returned it as the straps are so thin I thought they’d be useless. (I won’t bother with the lead though as not strong enough). However, it really has made a surprisingly big improvement and walks are pleasant again. He still tries to pull but it just turns him sidewards so he stops trying after a while. After each walk, I do check his ‘underarm’ area as straps are so thin I’m worried they’d cut him – it’s a shame it’s not a bit thicker material which the larger sizes are. Definitely recommend and will replace when this wears out. Don’t forget the contrasting colour goes under the chest area when putting it on.

I stay my reduced pulling! Won’t look back now
The harness is strong and sturdy but comfortable for my doggo. The lead itself is a little cheap feeling in the hand it the clasp is solid.

Brilliantly designed Harness, does the job perfectly without putting stress on the neck and stops excessive pulling.

I never normally leave reviews because I carent be bothered but after being at my wits end, paying out on dog training to get my cocker spaniel to walk nicely on the lead and failing massively. I found this and ordered it as soon as it came I took my dog out and literally couldn’t believe the difference went from being took for a walk and constant pulling to having a dog who walks at the side of me absolutely amazing if you see any negative comments don’t believe it just buy it. It’s actually nice talking my dog for a walk now especially with a toddler in tow.

What a fantastic item the best harness for my dalmatian he walks beside me and not pulled me, was a bit unsure at first due to flimsy staps but it works and easy to put on great harness and would recommend

I now enjoy walks with my 21kilogram staff. He is not able to pull me over as previously due to a week leg of mine. I wished my vet had informed me of this product years ago. Well worth the price.

This lead saved our walks. Our 7 month old puppy was very difficult to take on walks as she would just pull or stop. Using this lead was instrumental in us getting our puppy to walk on a leash. We managed a 1 hour walk on Saturday with minimal pulling, which made the walk enjoyable for us both.

My wife bought this for our rather excitable flatcoat. She has found that she has much better control over him. The harness is lightweight and doesn’t seem as sturdy/strong as others on the market, however, it is a good deal cheaper than some of the market leaders.

    Brilliant product !
Had another brand of no pull harness but it had to be put on over my puppies head which he didn’t like, whereas this one he can just step into..
Doesn’t look excessive (I think too much harness can make a dog look intimidating)
Does what it says on the tin – no pulling – allowing you to focus on other aspects of your training during walks. Would highly reccomend to any dog owner wishing to correct pulling on the lead & for those who say it makes your dog walk funny – I agree some do but not this one,
Also this one sits high enough so it’s not interfering with his legs like the other which I kept having to pull out from under his front leg

    Life save

This is my second purchase of this item I have a border collie with issues around traffic this is the only harness I can walk him with he seems really comfortable with it on and it’s easy to use fastens securely and I will be buying another one when this one gets shabby

This harness was recommended to me by a friend. I have a young collie whose only pace is extra fast! This checks her enthusiasm and keeps her by my side when on her lead without any pulling. It doesn’t seem to bother her either so I am very pleased.

Never normally review items but this is absolutely amazing. My Labrador is seven months and the pulling had left my hands callused – training was helping but the minute he got excited/distracted he would pull and pull. Ordered this not expecting much but it’s completely changed our walks (he does now nibble his lead more but that’s easier to change!). Take the time to fit it properly and it works a like dream.

This product is comfortable and so reliable. I don’t understand why some people put the harness of the dogs on their back it should always be on the chest area I had one of these before for nine years on a very big dog and it lasted the whole time they are perfect and I can highly recommend them

This harness is a game changer! Seriously wow! Our puppy pulled like a tractor but this leash solved it instantly. Can’t recommend it enough. Our dog trainer recommended it and said that it’s still best to train with a collar but use the harness when you haven’t got time or simply just want a nice non pulling walk with your pup. We have a 5 month old spaniel (10kg) and bought the small – which was too small! We bought the medium which is perfect.

This really does stop my dog pulling. All though after a 5 mile walk. It rubbed on my dogs right armpit and caused a blister. So I bought some baby car seat pads to put under her arm. Once it’s healed. That should do the job. But I tried other pull harness’s and this is the only one that actually worked.

    It stops pulling instantly

I’ve a 7 month old Border Terrier who is the worst pulling dog I’ve ever had. I’ve tried every harness/halty going – still pulled. Was recommended this by someone on Twitter and ordered it hoping it would work. It’s a dream – I now have a no pulling puppy – it was like walking a different dog. He looked more comfortable too and there is no bulk to it either. It came with a lead which was an added bonus I wasn’t expecting. Can’t recommend enough

It’s very unlike me to write a review but this product has changed the game completely and I’m buzzing! I was forced into a long Google search after my 6 month old puppy nearly had me over on the ice a few days in a row. This had become very serious and none of the training was working. I was getting really frustrated.
When I came upon this product I prayed the good reviews were true…
I have now used the harness on two walks and it worked from the second he tried to pull out of the front door! Little did I realise how much he actually pulled. I now feel safe that he won’t pull into the road (which he tries to do), the blood is flowing to my hand as I can hold the lead loosely, he’s not jumping up at people. I’m now looking forward to walks.
He’s not trotting at my side all the time, he likes to set the pace, but when he tries to go too far or hard he just stops for a split second.
I’m so happy that I’d give it ten starts if I could!

I think this is the best product on the market for walking strong dog or a dog that pulls, make sure you put it on right ( white strap under belly) I used it on my inherited dog who was not used to lead at all he wasn’t happy but first but got used to it and I can now take him occasionally without it with lead on he’s collar.

Quality, strong and easy to use. Bought medium to fit a 3 month old bulldog,. It has some adjustability but could do with some more growing room. Only fit the puppy for a few weeks. Wish Id bought large size instead.
I imagine this is just a normal issue with a growing dog. If your dog is full grown and you want this type of harness it is a good item and worth the money.

Fantastic at stopping q dog from pulling!! We have two pugs, one of which has pulled since being a puppy (now six) despite rigorous training… he has even pulled my mother to her knees because of his forecourts! turns out that harnesses are designed for dogs to pull in reality. This contraption is incredible! Colour is fab too. I would however say that measure extremely carefully as he was spot on inbetween two sizes due to his thick neck and the bigger size of the two was a slight mistake as it is not quite tight enough!

The harness and lead are excellent. Admittedly I have put a stitch in the section which fits across his chest as it kept pulling loose. Problem easily solved. From our first walk a difference was noticed. Although still trying to pull it was impossible. I stood still waited for him to come back to my side and off we go again. The nicest walks we have ever had. We have tried a lot of different harnesses figure 8 leads with limited success. Hopefully this is the one for our lively spaniel and us.

We have been using a Julius harness for last 9 months with a 9.5 kg Patterjack and was constantly pulling. Today is day 3 of using the harness and it’s like he’s a different dog. There’s absolutely no pulling and he seems almost calmer when walking. It’s a comfortable harness that is easy to put on and take off. Excellent purchase and more control than the Julius.

Fantastic! My dog was always pulling and my shoulder was starting to feel the affect of that. I needed to find something to stop him but not with discomfort to the dog. I have used a figure of eight lead, which does the job but my dog absolutely hated it. I read a review about the easy walk harness so thought I would, give it a go. As soon as I put it on for our walk and set off I thought it was magic. No pulling and my dog was comfortable to walk at my side. My walks, where he has to be on a lead are so much more enjoyable for me and my dog is not distressed or hindered by a lead. I would certainly recommend this product and will certainly buy another when this one is done.

This has really helped my pup with any pulling issues, so much that my children can now walk him safely. It doesn’t look the comfiest but I think thats just because it sits across their chest. Its easy to put on and has a lot of adjustability and the lead is a great addition.

I bought this for my pup on the recommendation of our puppy training instructor. The pup managed to chew the lead, which was very long, pretty much decimating it. I saved the harness then tried it a few months later. What a dream! No pulling, just a nice calm dog walking to heel. I’d been trying to get her to do that for ages!!

Brought for my two female huskies after one decided she no longer wanted to be walked on a head halti. Ordered the size medium came up large on both my dog but after adjustment it fits fine an definitely kept both dogs from pulling. Only used once but seen meany reviews saying it rubs on dogs skin, I’ll be keeping a close eye and will update if I have same problem. Metial doesn’t seem the strongest but with your dog not pulling it should last, can’t complain for the price.

After a year of struggling against an enthusiastic and energetic young dog, I bought this on the recommendation of some friends. I was absolutely flabbergasted. Yes, my boy is still energetic and enthusiastic but on the lead, he is near perfect. He still pulls but learned very quickly that he will not get very far. For the most part, I am able to walk him calmly without having my arm and shoulder yanked uncomfortably and he can save his running for the park and fields. Highly recommended!

Used this for a couple times to walk our 48kg Dogue de Bordeaux (French mastiff). On her previous harness she pulled like a freight train, constantly at the end of the lead and always about to dislocate my shoulder. This new harness / lead has totally transformed her walking. She now has a slack lead and she doesn’t pull excessively, even a child could walk her now, which is saying something. I took some convincing from my other half that we needed a new harness, I’m so glad we now have it. If you’re sat on the fence, I’d say buy it, totally transformed how our dog walks!

Bought for my female labrador who pulls real bad on her harness. My dogs measurement fell within the Large size but it was too big at the front. Nevertheless I kept it as it was a bargain at 15. My dog doesn’t mind having this harness on. It doesn’t cut or dig into her. The straps of the harness are very durable. I knocked one Star off because we lost her forest harness on a walk. To keep the harness on when she is running free I have a clip to clip it to her collar and she hasn’t managed to lose this one. I recommend this harness. I was very sceptical because my dog has always been a nightmare to walk on the road but the front clip attachment makes a huge difference. I actually forgot to put her harness on a week ago and realised just how much of a difference it makes in getting her to stop pulling.

our two dalmatians pull when walked together. This harness works by pulling their head around to face you if they try to pull away – it’s not fierce but reminds them to pay attention to you and we have found it works for our dogs.
Was very easy to put on as there is a different coloured section for the bit that fits underneath to ensure you put it on correctly – we bought two different colours for our dogs so they are adjusted perfectly for each one.
Loses one star as I found the supplied lead too long for us, if they are on the lead I prefer a shorter one suitable for walking through town – this one is more suitable for walking in open countryside (where our dogs are often off the lead anyway). Would have liked the option of a shorter lead or one which could be clipped back to make it shorter. Otherwise I feel good value and good quality

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersPure Magic
I mentioned to an 80 years old lady, out walking her newly acquired 12 years old rescue dog, that her dogs’ harness looked as though it had been put on wrong. Although her dog didn’t pull too much, she told me that her vet had recommended it to make walking easier, and she explained how it works. I was intrigued. I have back and hip problems, and two strong dogs, so even the slightest pull causes me a lot of pain.

I ordered two of these harnesses as soon as I got home, after carefully measuring both dogs as advised. Although my 12 months old Frenchie looks smaller than my 7 years old Staffy, they virtually measure the same in girth and length. So I ordered Medium for each of them on the basis that the immature Frenchie will fill out quite a bit in the next year.

The minute they arrived, I fitted each harness (I was impressed that the clasps are slightly curved for the dogs’ comfort), and out we went (each dog always walks on their own side of me). I could hardly believe it. From the second we got out of the door, there wasn’t a hint of pulling from either dog – both of them walked beside me with slack leads. I was over the moon. However, since then, each of them has ‘tested’ their harness, just once – suddenly lunging forward without warning. The Frenchie did it first, pulling with such force that she turned into my leg, and flipped (unhurt) onto her back. She hasn’t done it since! A few days later the Staffy did almost the same, and surprised herself so much that she also hasn’t done it since.

I truly never believed that such a simple harness could give such brilliant results. Correct measuring of the dog, and fitting the harness as per the instructions, is vital for success. Fitted correctly, these harnesses do not harm the dogs in any way. My Staffy has alopecia and is virtually bald, yet it has not rubbed her skin sore under her arms. Unfortunately the Frenchie disappeared into dense brambles a week or so ago, and emerged minus her harness. Unable to find it, I have bought her another one but, this time, I ordered a Small/Medium which is a much better fit on her. I love these Easy Walk harnesses so much that I have recommended them to numerous people on our walks because, true to name, they certainly make our walks easy.

Note: The ‘underneath’ contrast strap is designed to make putting the harness on the dog much easier, and to make sure it is on correctly. My only negative comment is that I do not like the burgundy contrast strap on my red harness as it is not a ‘different’ enough colour. It should have been black, or grey like most of the other harnesses. Had I known this I would have chosen a different colour harness.

    These harnesses are Pure Magic

I am writing this review having used the lead for a few weeks. It is excellent. We have a very excitable cockerpoo puppy but with this lead she is much easier to walk. It is quick to click on and the harness doesn’t restrict her when she’s racing round the fields.

This harness is a brilliant shortcut to no-pulling. Rambo my Vizsla can’t walk on a lead without tensing every single joint in your arm and hand. This has made an absolute change since the first time he wore it, you can hold the lead with two fingers and will be more than enough, if he pulls he ends up facing you. The only thing I found a bit difficult was to get the right fit/position but pet safe has an installation video on YouTube and if you follow that you’re set!

I honest love this lead! For general walking my dog is completely different, all he wants to do is stand near me now. The lead was easy to set up and seems to be made of sturdy material. We are ordering the size up as the harness sometimes rides forward but this is me trying to find something wrong. Well worth purchasing if you have a dog who likes to pull!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis time yesterday I was pouring through reviews of this and other anti-pull harnesses. Decided on this one, ordered, they were here by 11am. We’ve just been for our first stress-free, undragged, happiest walk in months.

I’ve got two gorgeous girls, a Golden Retriever and a Lab/Retriever cross. Both walk beautifully on their own but the Lab turns into a head-down, must be in front, powerhouse of a carthouse dragging me along like she’s pulling a dray, when I walk them together. Which means the GR wants to keep up and I’m being hauled along by over 60kg of girlie beasts.

Like others, I’ve been through many so-called anti-pull devices … Halti head collars, GenCon head collars, Halti body harness, and more. Once I understood the concept of the Easy Walk harness, ie, the dog can’t pull against you because you’re leading her from the chest ring, it all made sense and all that remained was for me to choose between this harness, and the Rabbitgoo. This won, based on Amazon reviews, and price.

The head collars worked for a while, but then backfired because the carthorse kept stopping every five yards to try and paw the thing off her face, she REALLY didn’t want to wear it, and I’m talking about over a good few weeks, she never got used to it and to be honest I found it quite distressing watching her. The latest harness just gave them both extra pulling power and did absolutely nothing to stop them dragging me. It had got to the point where I was driving them to the beach so they could run without me having to walk them, I had to will myself to take them out every day.

The harness comes with a well written and precise fitting guide. It took about five minutes to get them fitted properly first time on, which I did as soon as they arrived, let them wear the harnesses around the house for a bit, neither seemed at all bothered by them. So this afternoon they wore them for a short walk to the car and into the beauty parlour for a nail trim, I was actually laughing out loud at how well they behaved. I was so impressed that when I got them home we didn’t even go inside, we went for a long walk round the busy noisy streets and they behaved beautifully. There wasn’t even an attempt at a pull, and the Lab’s head-down, charging-forward tug became a head-up jaunty skip, a completely different dog. I actually walked 62kg of beast with one hand and a smile on my face.

    Be convinced! This works!

This is the only harness that has stopped my dogs pulling. Previously the only thing that stopped the dogs pulling was a halter which they didn’t like wearing. They love going for a walk with this harness. It works because if they start to pull they end up being turned in towards you. Simple idea that actually works.

This is an absolute game changer.. I saw some of the reviews on here and the price was cheap enough to go out on a limb and try this harness.. Worked instantly as soon as I walked outside it felt like I was walking an entirely different dog! Have recommended to several other people struggling with their pups already!

The material it self is soft and it seems to be sturdy, I have not seen any signs of discomfort on my pup and have checked for chaffing etc. which I was nervous about following other people’s reviews.

    Absolutely amazing!

We have a soon to be 18 mth old retriever who can walk to heel really well until he sees another dog or human then, he becomes an excitable bunny! He tugs, he lunges and if I get agitated he will start to jump up and try to play tug with the lead! Not a great experience at all and then I saw a lady on a walk who said she had the same problem and suggested I get a PetSafe easy walk harness and one week later I can’t believe the improvement we are walking together in sync, we even pass dogs I give bring the lead in slightly and he walks to heal he is a little star and I don’t get agitated and he doesn’t either.

We did have a few problems in the beginning one was down to the front chest strap dropping down as it was too loose meaning, pressure put on the belly strap at the top of his legs the other problem was I found the lead a little too long so we’ve used another lead and all seems well now (fingers crossed this continues). I’m sure we will have the odd moment of naughtiness after all he is a retriever and still relatively young too.

I love these harnesses. I am a dog behaviourist trainer and very often recommebd these to my clients. In over 10years of work I’m still to see a dog this has not worked for. Personally I use them on my very hyper cocker spaniel (not so much these days, althpugh she can still pull on the lead if only using the collar) – I have just had to replace hers as the buckle broke after 12 years in use – in and out of water, mud, I.e with very heavy use! I also use it for my large crossbreed and it works really well too. This particular one is a great value for money as it includes the lead although I don’t really use it as I prefer the ones with clips at both ends which you can adjust the size. Oh, and it is super easy to put on the dog which really helps with dogs that dislike of are not accustomed to harnesses.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersExtremely happy with this product and great value for money. I have two huskies and one pulls almost uncontrollably a lot of the time making walks not enjoyable. I bought this harness and she has instantly stopped pulling walking alongside her brother now instead of ahead. She is usually much more uncontrollable when squirrels or rabbits are near however even with one less than a metre away she didn’t pull at all and I had full control. I have tried the Halti harness for the face which did work but she didn’t seem to enjoy her walk with it on and it left a mark on her face. She’s seems to enjoy her walk just as much with this harness as it essentially straps around the same way as her Julius K9 harness it is just thinner and and the lead clips on at her chest not her back.

Highly recommend - stops pulling instantly

I am glad I ordered 2 more small to medium as I thought the med to large was too big for the girls but I now use one of each size for the girls. No more pulling or walking sideways. However the leads are a bit too long as I am forever untangling them, also the chain at the front looks like it’s knocking their front legs. But defiantly a good buy. Thank you.

I have been using Easywalks for years and they don’t ever let me down – they help to keep even the most boisterous of puppies/dogs (aren’t they all puppies forever?) from getting to a point of being unmanageable.
Now that our girl is just about fully grown (flat coated retriever) we have moved her up into the M/L which fits great.

We have a very strong and lively 32kg Labrador, who can be prone to pulling. This is our third harness, wouldn’t use another type. The anti-pulling design really works, the only irritant is people who think they know better telling us that she’s wearing it the wrong way around as so many dog harnesses attach behind the shoulders. Lead not a fantastic quality, we prefer a Halti lead, but it’s good as a spare. As an interesting point, our dog is a registered assistance dog, and our trainer recommended this to us.

Great for year old springer spaniel. 4 weeks on. Walks still transformed to more pleasant experiences.

I have tried numerous ‘no pull leads’ & they all stunningly failed. However I didn’t give up hope of finding one that works….& this is the one! Although doesn’t stop pulling altogether it certainly significantly helps & it was incredibly cheap!

Great harness. My dog couldn’t stand haltis or anything near her face and this keeps her under control and is more comfortable for her.

Excellent my dog very difficult to walk, has really bad pulling on the lead as a puppy, this has really done a brilliant job, from how he was walking originally to how he is walking now is 90% difference, in a better and good way

So we have a 7month old Springer Spaniel who despite our best efforts pulled on her lead to the point I had a permanent muscle pain in my arm, we have tried a few harnesses and collars but never with any results. Our dog trainer recommended this product and we thought for the price it was worth a try. From the very first try our puppy immediately stopped pulling and walked nicely on a loose lead. Tiny adjustments has her waiting nicely or heading in the direction we want. At first we thought it was a fluke but 3 weeks on She is still walking beautifully to the point we have met other puppy owners who ask how we have managed to get her to walk so nicely. I rarely write reviews but this has really worked for us and the pain in my arm has gone. I am also waiting to bump into the person I passed while being dragged along by my 4 month springer who laughed and said I had another 12 – 14 years to look forward to of pulling!
