The packaging didn’t not say ‘fragile’ but once opened I could see it was well packaged in bubble wrap/ box

Wasn’t sure to order online, but was pleasantly surprised. Works perfect. Will definitely be ordering again.
I realise that it’s not the bulb’s fault, but I doubt there could be a more difficult and dangerous contraption, to fit. First I had to climb steps to try and remove 3 screws. Second twist and remove the shade – this required 2 hands, meaning I had to let go of the support. Third, push the bulb into the fitting, whilst being unable to see the holes it was supposed to fit into. Fourth, reverse second and first. Doesn’t sound too difficult, but I am 76 years old.
As for the bulb, it gives reasonable light and comes with an 8 year guarantee. I do hope it lasts that long – I wouldn’t want to have change it again!!

Item arrived through the letterbox in a bubble wrapped envelope, secure in its original packing. All good.

The package arrived quickly which was great as the bathroom at night with out light was rather grim. Installation was very easy, in my case needing a screw driver to remove the light cover (other lights and situations may not require tools) . Removed the old, now faulty unit and inserted the newly arrived unit and there was ‘light’. Note to self always check you have the unit switched off before tampering with it. Nocturnal visits to the bathroom are now bathed in glorious light.

Bulb is as described, it’s hard to find two pin bulbs , all I could find in stores were the four pin, except Screwfix or Toolstation, but still had to order in ,Price was the same and could collect from locker.

There’s no problem with product, company purchased from or being delivered earlier than expected. But the delivery person posted through letter box. Luckily the lamp did not break. Thing is if they had knocked we were in. But still 5 star as product was as advertised.
After reading all the reviews I had no choice but to order this bulb could not get one anywhere else. Was a bit worried as it was smaller then my original one but fitted okay.
Just make sure you have something soft on the floor by your letter box so the bulb has a soft landing.
This light bulb for my kitchen was just under 7 at time of purchase and has a supposed shelf life of over eight thousand hours or eight years, I am still buying them even though my last one was bought just after moving into my flat less than seven years ago and died with nowhere near eight thousand hours use.
However the fit is perfect and it is the right level of light for the kitchen being bright but not overpowering and allowing full visibility which not all fluorescent lights can manage.
Not a definite recommendation but certainly better than most of its rivals, and the price is at least very good and allows me some degree of forgiveness for not lasting the full eight years.
It was delivered very quickly and was packed very carefully to avoid any damage. Obviously it was used to replace bulbs that had blown. Nice and bright and easy to install. The description was spot on as to which type I actually needed.

It worked right away. Could have done with a brighter one but this was the only I could find from Phillips on Amazon. Delivery prompt and in an undamaged box as well.
I have not used the toucan bulb once I will I will give a review.
I recognised that product missed some sort of clicking point on sitting position. So you might basically feel it’s loose.
But if you tighten it’s pins firmly, it eorks as well as original one.
I recommend you to buy it.
This particular bulb I found to be cheap in price and was delivered very quickly. Very easy to install (I’d not actually done this particular lights before). Had it in and working in minutes. Very bright and high quality. Will order again!

OK so I have one of these bulbs as a bathroom light apart from my bulb from before was bigger. This is compact. But it still fits and works. I saw how small it was compared to the old bulb and worried it wouldn’t fit. But oh my days I fi ally have a bathroom ligh

Before buying this bulb, my bathroom was pitch black, which made it very difficult to navigate. So I bought this bulb and inserted it into my bathroom light. Now, all I need to do is switch on the bathroom light, and I can see inside the bathroom, and navigate with ease.
What can you say about a bulb, was easy to fit swapping out with the old one so knew what I would be getting. Gives off the ‘warm’ yellow type of light, would have prefered a much crisper white but was in a rush so had to purchase this one which does the job just as well as the old one which lasted for five years.
Great items, I have 3 or 4 of these lights that are always going down, it’s an old building and I’m sure there are power surges. Anyway came on time and all in good solid packaging so brilliant all round.
Brought 2 from same seller first one lasted a year and 2nd lasted 8 months (doesn’t stay on just flickers) not used often as its fitted in the bathroom definitely doesn’t last anywhere near how long stated will try another seller and see for the money you can’t moan but maybe if i spend slightly more i will save in a long ru
