Man, it’s been a long time since I’ve truly enjoyed a Pokemon game – and this is what I’d always dreamed of for the franchise… being able to run around the wilderness, catching Pokemon. What’s not to love?!

Sure, the graphics / art style could be improved, and a voice track added, but they’ll sadly never bother with that.

It’s just Pokmon game but a different style of playing. Rather than catching one Pokmon to fill your Pokdex you have to do other things or catch more. A lot of running back and forth to finish quests but still a fun game.

Having grown up during the explosion of the Pokmon craze, I felt it was important for my kids to experience Pokmon. Having done a bit of research I decided this was the right one for him to start with.

He absolutely loves it. He’s gone from being uninterested in Pokmon to completely obsessed with it. Easy enough to play, and he’s managed to learn and catch Pokmon qiickly. Happy he’s discovered something other than dinosaurs to love.

Easy for him to play, he’s completed the Lego Jurassic World game so this is a good extra step up challenge wise for him. Happy with my purchase, will start me own character on it soon enough.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAs someone who has been playing Pokmon since I was a child. I’m always looking for a Pokmon game that keeps me interested and on my toes! This is unlike any game before it, would 10/10 recommend to anyone who enjoys an open playing structure. Such a fun game and I recommend doing all the quests!

I’ve watched my son play shield and it didn’t look very entertaining or challenging. This feels like a step up in both. Still not perfect but a move away from the overly simple gameplay of previous titles. I can see this one lasting alot longer.

I have been a huge fan of the pokemon games since the first one was released. I enjoyed all games and I was intrigued by the idea of an open-world pokemon experience. Great choice. A lot has been said about the graphic of this game not being the best, but the possibilities that this game offers in terms of gameplay are absolutely worth buying it. A must-have for all pokemon fans.

The cover and inside art is beautiful, I spent so long staring at the inside art just because of how mesmerising it was! The graphics aren’t that bad, I’ve seen worse. I have yet to finish the main story so I can’t write how good the storyline is but so far it’s very interesting. I don’t know why I was so hesitant on to buy this, best 40 I spent and I would definitely recommend this to other Pokmon lovers.

Had wanted to try this game from the day it was announced. I absolutely love this game, even though it’s very time consuming but you can easily loose yourself in this game. I found there is no set way to play this game, which for a Pokmon game is amazing. You can take the time to do whatever you feel like needs to be done.

I’ve always wondered about the lack of improvement in the Railtrack adventures of Pokmon games.

I’ve played since blue and red and always loved the franchise but expected a Zelda open world theme long LONG ago.

Well finally this game fullfills that wish… Almost…It’s open world to the area you select which is still a MASSIVE improvement and definitely a welcomed one.

The monsters themselves seem very static and ununique but you still get a sense of discovery and adventure with this title.

I still hope they eventually bring out a fully open world game but this is not quite it yet.

My eldest wanted this and he loves it. The open world setting and freedom make for a new and fun challenge.

Pokmon Arceus is a game exploring an open-world full of wild pokemon that you can battle and capture. There is 242 that you can capture so it doesn’t cover the whole Pokdex but like any game it is still really fun to play. If you like Legend of Zelda or Monster Hunter I’m sure you’d like this too. It is different to the normal game series but not so different that it is not enjoyable, just expect a slightly different game play style.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersAs a fan of the mainline series, this was an interesting step for the Pokemon Company to take.

For myself, I like the step that it took, however after playing the game to completion, I cannot see much in regards to replayablilty.
The goal of the game is to complete the Pokedex to meet Arceus for the ultimate showdown.
This is done by catching several pokemon, defeating some pokemon using certain moves or even watching pokemon use certain moves.

However this becomes tedious to do after a while and with the story doing nothing more that complete the story quest in each section of the region, the pokedex seems to be a secondary task rather than the main.
There are several side quests to do, but none truely stand out and some become more tedious than doing the pokedex itself, running around on a bear should be cool and fun but not when I’m focusing more trying to locate the area the blue echolocation radar appears to complete a fetch quest.

The inclusion of new regional forms are unique and once again breath life into old mons, but the battle system hinders any chance for them to stand out from the basic pokemon. Alpha pokemon are meant to be challenging but after working out that the get stunned just like every other pokemon, they easily get caught like any other with a back throw.

This plays more like a demo of what will come in future games, whilst also trying to keep its on identity.
It was fun whilst it lasted, but no need for me to revisit.

Never played a Pokmon game before in my life. Being a 40+ male, didn’t think much of the whole Pokmon hype, dating all the way back to the late 90s. With its countless games on multiple platforms, cards which can be worth a small fortune and plush toys to collect, amongst other merchandise. But I thought stuff it I’ll give a Pokmon game a try. Pretty sure I was gonna play it for 10 mins then forget about it…. How wrong I was. I have lost days to playing this game, and absolutely love it. Who would if thunk it eh ?. I’ve just recently discovered Pokmon Snap aswell. God help me

We got my 6YO son this game after he finished Let’s Go Pikachu. Its very different to LGP, but he’s also previously loved and completed Zelda BOTW and Arceus is like a beautiful blend of the 2. He loves this game and has managed to somehow cmplete the entire game (even Arceus!). I’ve loved all of the conversations I’ve had with him about the game where he’s bursting with enthusiasm and wants to share his latest catches and evolutions. I think I’ve enjoyed it almost as much as he has!
