Fell in love with this headset, made working from home so much easier. Unfortunately, the right side audio went out. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting suggested by the manufacturer and now I’m having issues getting a warranty exchange, just 5 months after purchase.
My biggest problem is that they are so light! They just feel a tad cheap, would be nice to have a bit more of a premium feel to them for the price
We’ve bought about 20+ of these now, very happy with these 4220 UC Headsets.
We recently moved to new IT-platform at work. That meant that we also had to use a softphone on the computer. I decided on these after reading a few reviews.
Sound quality is what you would expect from this pricepoint. The noise cancellation on the microphone is good when using it with the included USB-A dongle. When being used with bluetooth it seems to pass thru more background noise, audio quality also drops quite a bit.
So if you are able, use it with the included dongle.
This headset also came with a charging stand, was all that clear in the description.
Works great when connected to both PC and phone and switches between them if a call is incomming on the phone etc. Tested the dongle with both Windows 10 and Linux (Ubuntu 20.10 based distro), both works. Also tested BT with Android and Linux – both worked fine.
All in all i would recommend it to anyone working in an office wanting a good headset for VoIP.
