This monitor does exactly what I need it to! I work from home with a nice setup at my desk, but when I want to take advantage of remote work and move to a coffee shop or travel, it’s great to have a portable second screen to work on. It’s thin and light which makes it perfectly packable, and the built in stand makes for less additional accessories needed. Definitely recommend as a portable monitor!

Took monitor to Hawaii for a vacation that was followed by two week’s of work. Home didn’t have a printer so 2nd screen came in real handy. Packed in my carryon, very light, traveled well, and used as my main screen while working as it is bigger than my laptop screen. Would recommend if you need to work while out of town.
I don’t have a photo yet to upload but I have to say this portable monitor is fantastic. It’s very well designed and very sleek looking I’ve used it for about a day and I’m very pleased with the quality. One of the greatest things I like is the richness in color depth so you can enjoy music probably games too but also write code and use it as an extension to browse the web.
Totally amazed, as i am setting here working i am convinced that the quality image on this portable monitor is better than my Surface Pro 7. It didn’t sink in until I realized I was moving every thing over to it to work on it. I am beyond satisfied.

I bought this screen to bring with my work setup to a few different vacations I have planned out for the rest of the year and am very happy with my tests so far. The screen has excellent responsiveness, is very clear, and does not flicker or have any dead pixels. It is extremely thin and lightweight, which is perfect for bringing in a backpack in the carrying case that was included with the purchase on plane flights.
Got the Travel Monitor and set it up. Very clear set of instructions and multiple connector cords for various uses. Even the box it came in was high-end and laid out in a sensible manner. But was best was the picture quality. Once I got things hooked up, I was quite surprised at how good everything looked. I have a 4k laptop and I swear the monitor looked just as good, though it’s not 4k. Exceedingly happy with the purchase. I conduct training and bought the monitor for in-person sessions, so I can use the Presenter Mode in PowerPoint and show only my slides and videos on the monitor. This will more than get the job done.

I can’t believe I didn’t find out about this product sooner in life. I primarily use it for work since I’m always on the road visiting my job sites; however, I have used it on my home security cameras and with my iPhone. It is extremely useful and I highly recommend it. Thanks.
I bought this compact screen for use with my CNC router which is connected to a micro PC, I’m a bit restricted for space so both are velcro’d to the wall so as not to use up workbench area. The screen is lightweight and industrial strength Velcro easily holds it securely in place, yet it can still be removed if I want to use it for something else. I have it connect via HDMI because the micro PC does not offer USB-C output. The built-in speakers are a bit weak in terms of volume so I added a small sound bar above it, it’s in a noisy environment so I need the extra volume otherwise it would have been OK I think. I didn’t receive the screen protectors that were listed as part of the package but after contacting the vendors they were sent to me. I do think this thin screen is a rather fragile item (much more so than your usual mobile phone) so if your going to carry it around you need to take care not to knock it. While a protective sleave is supplied I wouldn’t be relying on that to provide 100% protection. Controls are easily accessable on the side even with the screen held flat against a wall. I think this screen is probably OTT for my needs and a less expensive model would have sufficed but investing in decent quality products has never been a bad decision in my experience.
Fantastic portable monitor. During Covid and working from home I’ve spent most of my time in a tiny office because of multiple monitors. Now I can work outside or near the window because I can easily set this up next to my laptop, even on a tiny table.

I am very pleased with the quality of the monitor and the service I received. I needed a monitor to extend my laptop view on a business trip and the monitor was shipped in to my work location in short notice.
A few weeks later, in reviewing the manual, I found that I was able to receive a free gift, and one of the items available was the Lightning Digital AV Adapter which I had just found I needed for an international work trip, to enable me to extend my iPhone. The adaptor was requested and shipped. I received it 2 days earlier than promised.
I love this monitor. My brother has one and he completely changed my life with it. I just had to get one myself. I no longer have to go from screen to screen. It’s super bright and works well with my Dell! Definitely a 10/10. Also I’ve never experienced a customer service this great for a product! worth it.

I purchased a monitor, and it quit working within the warranty period. I emailed Cocopar, and they responded immediately. Initially, they sent me a new mini-HDMI (less than two days) cable, thinking that might be the problem, and when I informed them that this did not correct the problem, they sent me another one immediately. I am not used to this type of 5-star service by any technology company. Not only do I recommend the company, but the monitor itself also is fantastic and works great. My coworkers and friends always ask me about it when they see me at the airport or work. I highly recommend this monitor and company.

The monitor’s color, clarity, and brightness are good, and it works well in portrait or landscape mode. Setup was as simple as plugging in the included USB-C cord. The monitor’s protective case is nicer than I expected, so that’s a bonus.
Monitor looks nice, is very slim/sleek, and came with numerous cord options, including for a wall power plug in. I’ve only had the monitor for a few days, and hope it holds up.
I purchased this to use with my laptop when not at my desk. It works great for a second monitor.. or the main monitor since it’s bigger than my laptop screen. I’ve used it both ways. It’s packaged nicely and relatively simple to use. I did have to use the mini HDMI -> HDMI plus the power cord. I was hoping I wouldn’t need to use the separate power cord, as finding a plug with the laptop alone can be difficult sometimes. Either way, it makes doing work easy when you really need two screens.

I did some major combing through amazon pages to find a perfect portable monitor to compliment my laptop. There were many good monitors but 3 things made me decide on this monitor – Thin bezel, kick stand and the connect with one cable to monitor.

It’s nice to be able to just use one usb c cable to connect the monitor so I don’t have to worry about finding an outlet to power the monitor.
As advertised, great quality, compact and comes with everything you need. I would highly recommend for business travelers that like to work on 2 screens.
My first drop. The reason to buy this is to use it for development work while traveling. It’s lightweight, has a good screen resolution, and intuitive menu navigation for screen settings.. Tested with single cable (USB-C to USB-C – Power and Data and double cable (USB to USB-C – Power and HDMI to Mini HDMI cable – video). No problems.
My intention for this monitor is to work and not play games, so no comment there.
I got the 15.6″ monitor to be able to work while travelling and it is great. Very thin and portable, I was able to carry it in my backpack with my laptops easily on the plane. It is lightweight and comes with all the cables, accessories and everything you need.

After much online searching and review reading the Cocopar Portable Monitor seemed the most “friendly” when used with a MacBook Pro. In addition, I decided to purchase an Apple Thunderbolt 3.0 USB-C to Thunderbolt 3.0 USB-C to ensure compatibility and to keep all of the cable connections white. After several days of use the new system works great with my 2018 MacBook Pro and I suspect that it will continue to do so.
Helpful note: At first use I had difficulty keeping track of the standard size (small) mouse pointer when going from screen-to-screen. I suggest enlarging the size of the mouse pointer in the Accessibility -> Display settings to a size that works for you to track of the moving mouse.
I bought this to use as a second monitor to use for when we travel and I’m very happy with it. It’s slim, light weight, picture quality is good. I haven’t had any issues using with my 2021 MacBook Pro with the Apple M1 chip.
Amazed by this product. Bought 2 other external monitors for traveling and those did not work out. They were too bulky and/or were blurry. This monitor is beautiful and does exactly what we need. Buying at least 2 more for work!
This review is for the Cocopar Portable Monitor (2022 upgraded) 15.6inch [Model #Y156FH7R]. Please note; while this is a general purpose monitor, the following review is a ‘first impressions’ for the monitor as a portable solution for gaming on an Xbox Series S, and therefore may not entirely fit your intent for use. True, there are also other ‘gaming’ monitors out there but spec-wise for a Series S, they are overkill and the prices are often exorbitant.
If you’ve made it to this review, you’ve no doubt likewise suffered severe burnout looking and researching through countless uninspiring portable monitors on offer at Amazon for your best choice. Most of the options available from dubious brands you’ve never heard of, with reviews of screen burn-in, a short life span and poor build quality. I had almost given up on the notion of owning a portable monitor for travel when I found this one from a brand called ‘Cocopar’.
I have been using it for about a week now and so far I am pleasantly satisfied. The delivery was quite quick. I paid 199.
The first thing that immediately sets this monitor apart from its ‘competitors’ on the Amazon market is the the kickstand. While you’ll find with most of the other portable monitors that there are reports of using very flimsy magnetic kickstands, the Cocopar by comparison is very sturdy with its improved “Triangular kickstand design” which also houses the ports. The hinge feels strong and the rubberised bits at the bottom of the kickstand ensure your screen is not moving an inch.
The material used for the build of the screen itself is also a nice metal finish, no cheap plastic to be seen. It’s very light.
The contents were packaged nicely and included a USB-C to USB-C, a USB-A to USB-C, and a HDMI to Mini-HDMI which worked perfectly for setting up the Xbox Series S. The ports when I go to plug in do feel a little stiff at the moment, but at least once they’re in I know they’re secure! The package also comes with a really nice quality grey zip-sleeve-case, with a front pouch handy to keep the manual and required cables.
I so far have only used the USB-C charger that came with the screen as I’m a little unsure if just ‘any’ standard 5V/2A (10W) USB-C charger works. I will reach out to Cocopar about that and ask. The charger plug I will admit here initially did look a little cheap. However, after running the screen for long sessions, I did not feel like the plug was overheating or any such fire hazard issue that some of the other portable monitors on the Amazon marketplace have reportedly endured. Nice peace of mind there, good job Cocopar.
The screen is nice and bright. The main game I had tested was Destiny 2. The out-of-the-box default picture settings are perfectly usable, though a tad washed out. A small tweak to rebalance the colour and contrast however and Destiny 2’s palette looked great, similar enough to what I’ve been familiar with on my home TV.
The only thing I would say that could do with improvement is the button for navigating the menu. The monitor has 2 buttons, a power button and a scroll-wheel. The scroll-wheel has the ability to be clicked-in which brings up the display’s menu settings. This works ‘fine’ but it’s just a little bit awkward and pressing the scroll-wheel in feels spongy. Also once you enter a menu setting, there is no dedicated button for backing out to another setting so you have to wait a few seconds for the menu to time-out before you may proceed to tweaking or enabling/disabling something else. This is only a minor gripe though as the monitor seems to remember any settings you confirm once you turn it off and on again. This is great as many other portable monitor options don’t do that and it means once you adjust the settings how you like, you’ll seldom have to use the scroll-wheel to select anything again.
The same scroll-wheel just for sliding volume control suits perfectly fine though. The volume output itself is passable, maybe a slight bit ‘tinny’ but it does the job. If you’re fussy with audio, there’s a 3.5mm Audio Jack to hook it up to w/e audio output you’d pefer. I’ll personally use a portable speaker or DolbyAtmos through the Xbox Wireless Headset for any long sessions.
Please note, the HDR option is availabe for this monitor but unfortunately it was something I could not test. At the time of this review, the HDR output appears to be locked to 4K resolutions on Xbox, so a no go on a 1080p monitor. Microsoft could hopefully update that however so watch this space.
With the FreeSync option enabled, the Series S then recognised and sent a prompt to enable the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). I tested some Destiny 2 and Halo Infinite gameplay at the monitor’s 60fps with this feature off and on and honestly, I didn’t notice any screen-tear either way. Might as well keep it enabled though. Screen-tear is another common complaint of other portable monitors so it’s been so far, so good from this Cocopar screen!
As an aside, I did briefly test Samsung Dex from my TabS7+ for a dual monitor setup and it worked quite well.
Cocopar also said they stand by a 2 year warranty for free if you email them your Amazon Order # to ‘service@cocopar.net’. I did so and they confirmed to me within a day that the warranty had been registered. Hopefully, I’ll never have reason to rely on a warranty but the offer being there does provide a little more reassurance over how other brands seemingly handle their portable monitor product support.
I also reached out to them over email as their packaging mentioned a free “upgraded accessory” for the product such as another sleeve, or cables, etc. I requested the free ‘Monitor Stand’ which they show in product photos for using with portrait mode. They said they’d send one immediately if I screenshot a review, which is honestly fair enough as I do beleive this monitor deserves to stand out from the other Amazon options in the crowd at the same spec.
I’ll be relying on this monitor for a long while for my travelling gaming solution. I’ll update the review when I recieve the free accessory, and I’ll update again if I ever encounter any problems.
Update #1: Free laptop stand arrived today – quick delivery again! Good sturdy hinges on it to adjust the angle and rest the monitor in portrait or landscape. The rubber feet keep the stand well held in place. The monitor can’t ‘lock on’ to the stand so just be mindful you don’t knock into it but it feels pretty safe up on a desk. I can tuck my Xbox Series S underneath the stand too which is nice so it takes up less space. Nice addition to the product, I’m very pleased.
In a vast Amazon sea of bad portable monitor solutions however, I must say so far this Cocopar monitor bodes very very well and I am impressed.
I work from home and wanted a monitor when traveling. This is perfect and easy to transport with my laptop. Easy to use, just plug it in and it immediately works. I’ve used this with Desktop gaming PC, laptop and PS5.
Out of the box, everything is working perfectly. So I have no complaints about this product. This secondary monitor is very bright and the image quality is very crisp. I do appreciate its slim design and quite lightweight as well. The carrying case provided for travelling is very good, so I don’t have to worry about damaging or scratching this monitor during travels.
Even thought it is not 4K, the images on this portable screen are very good for my usage (playing video games on a console). Easy to set up. Nicely portable. The case assure a good protection. Works well on power directly from the console (XBox series S). For the price, excellent product for my needs.

I have been looking for a second screen to use for PowerPoint presentations on Zoom. I never thought of looking for a portable one till I came across this and I’m happy I did. I’m impressed with the quality and brightness of the screen, as much or more than I hoped for. Being portable is an extra plus as I will be traveling before long and this will be easy to take along and use in our 5th wheel. Very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it.

I got this for an upcoming business trip and needed something that would travel well and not take up much space while still being a quality monitor. I read A LOT of reviews and this one stood out. They were spot on.
This is an outstanding monitor. Immediately out of the box, I plugged it into my laptop with no issues. Great picture and ok sound from the speakers. Everything you need is included with easy instructions and tips. I then checked it with my phone and the performance was great as well. It is slim yet solid. I love the carrying case! Overall, I would highly recommend it!

I’m currently using it with a slightly older MacBook Pro that does not have USB-C. So I’m using the “dual cable” approach: a USB-A-to-USB-C cable to power the monitor and an HDMI cable to provide video signal to it.
For the most part I like the matte screen since it has less glare than glossy ones. That said, the sharpness of the screen is a little soft compared to some screens, so don’t expect a MacBook Pro-level sharpness. That’s in-part because it’s not a retina screen and I think the matte finish probably also diminishes sharpness a little.
As I said, the matte finish has less glare overall. But due to how it handles glare by “spreading it out” over a larger and softer area, sometimes the larger glare area (albeit softer) can be not as desired.
The kickstand for landscape mode is good. I do wish it had some kind of built-in kickstand for portrait mode though.

It fits in my Belkin computer back pack with a hard drive keyboard trackball mouse and cables. Seems durable. Highly recommend. Great responsive customer service. Look, people seem to think they are buying a name-brand $1500 monitor. No, really, you aren’t. This is a cheaply made monitor. It’s not met for your kid to play with. Don’t throw it across the room, drop it, or abuse it. It won’t last. Don’t think you are going to be doing beautiful gaming on this. It was cheap and that’s why I bought it. It makes a great way to compliment a 49″ screen. My primary use will be for working remote-remote (away from home, remotely). It’s a decent monitor. I’m sure it has issues. Know that you aren’t buying a high-end monitor, but rather a cheap one that does what it is designed for.
Between needing an extra monitor for my work laptop and my smaller PC setup this was exactly what I was looking for. Needed a little tinkering with the brightness and HDR settings to get it where I needed it, and the little wheel on the side for menu navigation is much easier to use than I was expecting.

I’ve used this monitor now for over a month and believe it is worth every dollar! The picture quality for movies and tv shows are great, no lag at all. The matte finish is also helpful. I’ve connected it and used it to both my Dell work laptop and my Macbook Air and it works seamlessly either way. Additionally, the screen case is a nice touch, and finding a quality portable monitor with a kickstand at this price range is hard but Cocopar has made it possible! I highly recommend.

Why didn’t I think of getting one of these at the start of the pandemic? I am a teacher and this has been super useful for creating lecture content and taking notes during meetings. I’ve also tried using it as a bigger screen for my phone watching Netflix, and it has nice display with rich colors, but the speaker is rather quiet. I really appreciate all the extra accessories included – the case, screen protector, cords. Seems pretty rare to get appropriate accessories with electronic purchases.

I generally work with dual monitors and needed to start traveling again. Ordered this monitor to supplement my laptop screen while on the road. Very thin and light, fits right in my backpack next to the laptop in it’s padded case. Support from Cocopar has been great, I needed the mini DP to HDMI adapter and they sent it out immediately. Display works flawlessly and is easy to set up. Highly recommend !

I have to say, I love this monitor! It made working while traveling so easy when I didn’t have access to usual dual monitor set up at home. My biggest concerns when searching for the ideal monitor was readability since I spend a lot of time working through excel spreadsheets and reviewing incredibly granular details of documents (a huge pain to due in my small thinkpads screen by itself) and a FHD (1080p) or better resolution to ensure text is crisp enough. This monitor honestly hit all my criteria PLUS it comes with a well padded travel case that wasn’t bulky at all! It fit perfectly in my backpack with my other items and I had no issues with the display being damaged. Of course, be mindful that it is a thin display and you’ll need to handle with care wherever you take it but for the most part I highly doubt you’ll need to worry about damaging it as long as nothing heavy is laying on the display while in the case. It’s definitely a go for me and the price point was very ideal! Since this monitor is pretty high quality I’m considering making the jump for their touchscreen 4K model since that’ll be even better for my set up.

It has almost infinite flexibility, options and the screen quality beats some of the most expensive portable screens. It’s quick, easy to install and mount, and also usable with either HDMI or USB-C cable. It has all the required cables along with of its cute handy case. OMG! All for less than $300 is a steal!

Easily connects with C type cable from laptop to monitor. Did not need an additional power source for monitor, so makes set-up clean and easy.
Like the screen adjustments for brightness, etc. Overall image quality is very good. For me I could use a little more brightness. This monitor has more connectivity options than some of the other ones I considered.

This is the best monitor i’ve found and I like the fact it uses a kickstand vs an ipad screen cover type stand. The case that comes with it is also a nice touch. Worth noting if you want to get full brightness you need to plug in the usb power cable. But it does work just usb c-c to the computer. Just wont be 100% brightness due to power limitations.

Great portable monitor. I travel a lot as part of my work and needed a monitor I could analyze markets on while on the road. This has been perfect for that. It’s small enough to easily carry along in my travel bag but big enough for all my needs for actual viewing. Also comes with a nice case and a pocket outside to carry all the necessary cables that come along with it. Would recommend 5/5.
This is a great portable monitor. The screen colours are really vibrant and even better than my laptop screen. The set up is quick and easy.
I love the box and packaging it comes in which is similar to apple products and the fact it comes with a padded case and cables is a plus.
The only criticism is the scroll button is not easy to use due to it being so small.
I absolutely love this thing. When covid hit I became a permanent work from home employee. And that’s great and all but im in the process of moving so more often then not I have to be on the road. With my job it is essential that I have at least two screens due to the many applications I have to use during my work day. So it was close to impossible to travel with my laptop and my heavy HP monitor. With this, there is no stress or worries! I’m able to pack it up in the provided case and it’s so slim and portable. It’s about the same size as my iPad. The picture is clear and bright. I haven’t had one issue and now working on the go has been an absolute breeze!
I received my new portable monitor and I was really surprised by the weight and quality. The package looks really professional in a white simple design box and everything is included inside ready to go. You do not need to install any drivers to start and this monitor is all plug and play. The screen is big enough for me to do work but I’m not sure if is my lighting in the room or not, I found the monitor has reflections of the light which caused me a little burry in certain angles. They do offer a free gift if you register with them. I had turned the monitor over 24 hrs and the screen looks great; no flicking and nothing is wrong. I like the extension stand behind where some products had a flat extension in front. The soft travel protector case is also included unless you want something personalized. Like I said, this upgraded version is a great product.

**UPDATE: If you need to use this in portrait mode, you’ll need the right stand. Measure carefully where you need to plug in your cables. I ended up ordering one from VIJIM (here on Amazon). The Seller was going to send me a stand as my free gift but gave me a credit instead for the same value (Turns out they couldn’t ship their stand to Canada — only to USA). Excellent customer service!!!
This 15.6″ *portable* monitor is great if you don’t have a separate office or desk and need to use your couch, dining table, counter or any small space for work. I didn’t know such a thing existed so I’ve always gone without — until now

**If you only have 2 thunderbolt ports, you’ll likely need a splitter/hub to connect all your devices even if they’re wireless (ie, mouse, webcam, monitor )
**I connect my power cord directly into my laptop and to the wall. No concerns this way.

I was looking for a compact monitor that I can safely and easily store as sometimes I have to move accomodations or send my belongings to a storage unit over the summer and storing a regular monitor or a small tv would be too much of a hassle. However, I still wanted to play my ps4, so I decided to give this little (if you can call it that 🙂 ) device a try.
I was initially hesitant about any input lag/latency to be present, but to my surprise, it runs great and I don’t experience any delays when playing games
Additionally, the monitor itself is quite thin and with the included sleeve case and a screen protector, storing it is not a problem at all.
It certainly satisfied all of my needs, so if you’re in a similar situation to me – be assured, this is a great choice 🙂
P.S. On the screenshot you can see it’s simultaneously plugged into my console and a laptop. It’s got a mini hdmi input and 2 usb c inputs, so you can use both usb c and hdmi inputs at the same time and switch between them on the monitor itself, so there’s no need for the wire hassle every time you want to switch between two input sources, which was something I also was fearing
This screen is exactly as expected. Sharp images, lightweight, nice protection pouch and at a very good price. Fast & easy to set up and sturdy. Perfect while working anywhere. I like that fact that there is 2 USB-C port. Work perfectly with my MacBook Pro.
I hadn’t been able to get the product to actually work but after a lot of work in trying to pair the monitor it is working well now and I am very pleased with the quality of the picture. I would suggest adding extra instructions to help pair the product as that was not easy and required more than the usual process.
I searched for a portable montior because I didn’t want to get a large traditional option for the space I’m working with, while also looking for a high definition screen that can be taken on the road with me for use with my gaming devices. A slim design with low weight and a good sized screen became essential. Finding this monitor checked all of the boxes. All of the wiring was included in the package, and the specs were right on point. It’s clean and really beautiful, while maintaining both an office look and maximum versatility for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend if you are looking to meet similar needs, or if having a portable monitor is useful to you in addition to more traditional options.
All in all, I’m very pleased with this purchase. Just a couple issues:
1) Although not the seller’s fault, the unit spent over 2 weeks in transit due to Amazon issues (staffing/weather/Covid).
2) I’m amazed that the screen (which has no batteries of it’s own) can work off just a USB connection to my attached Galaxy S21… But: (My opinion) this is really just for novelty/emergencies since it runs dim when on such low power, and the phone’s battery drains in no time! Plugging it in while using it solves both those problems.
3) The button/switch for the device menu is pretty flimsy. I find this forgivable because it is almost never used, but there is definitely room for improvement in future versions.

Das Gert ist sehr flach und gut portabel. Das Zubehr passt in die mitgelieferte Tasche sehr gut rein. Das USB Ladegert habe ich in eine andere Tasche eingepackt, da ich ein wenig Bedenken habe, dass es eventuell beim Transport auf den Bildschirm drckt. Ich mchte gerne das Risiko vermeiden, dass dieser Druck den Bildschirm eindrckt und ggf. das Display bricht. Die Tasche ist innen sehr weich gepolstert, das gefllt mir sehr gut.
Der Anschluss an Windows und Mac klappte einwandfrei. Der Bildschirm wurde direkt mit seiner hchsten Auflsung von 1920 x 1080 Pixeln erkannt. Die Helligkeit ist in der Standardeinstellung gleichwertig mit den eingesetzten Laptops. Die Lautsprecher haben wir nicht getestet, wie sind fr uns irrelevant. Den Anschluss an ein Smartphone/Tablet haben wir auch nicht getestet (auch irrelevant fr uns).
FAZIT: als sehr mobiler und portabler Bildschirm zum Arbeiten eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

I use this as a second monitor for work. Can be easily moved around and takes a single USB C cable which reduces clutter. Quality is not quite as good as my main monitor, but very good for the price. You can also stand the thing on its end to get a useful portrait mode when required.
Have not tried using a travel second monitor, but I see it being used when I stay overnight somewhere.

Connecting was easy and all accessories needed to do so were provided; including really nice carrying case that also fits in my computer bag. I had heard of travel monitors from major companies, but when started to research, numerous reviewers suggested this one. It proved to be one of the best purchases I’ve made. In fact, so good, I bought a second one after trying out the first. The quality is excellent and it is super light. After purchase, I reached out to their customer service with a question and got an immediate response. I’m not a power user, as I use with MS Office & video conferencing, but after using I’m wondering why I still use standard monitors in my house, as these are perfect and easy to pack for travel.
After looking through many portable monitors, I finally ordered this 15.6″ Cocopar and I feel I’ve made a good decision. Some things I liked are:
– Narrow bezel
– The kick stand is a great-to-have. It is built sturdily and comes with built-in rubber under pads to avoid slippage.
– Both the screen protectors are of good quality. You have to be very careful when applying or bubbles will remain due to specks of dust. One way to avoid this is to apply the protectors in a room free of dust particles – like a bathroom soon after showering. I know this has helped me in the past and with this screen too.
– Cables that come out of the box are probably all you will ever need. In my case, I ordered a HDMI-mini to HDMI female convertor to connect my Raspberry Pi Zero. Apple users will need a lightning to digital AV adapter if an iPhone needs to be connected.
– The padded carrying case is of very good quality. It has a big pocket to carry all your cables as well.
– The display is matte finished so there is almost no reflection or glare.
Some things I wish were better:
– Color profile is good but not great
– Sound output is average
Overall it is an affordable, high quality portable monitor. Highly recommended!
I have been looking into getting a travel monitor for a little while because I am used to having two and work trips don’t make it easy to have a second monitor. I put this item on my wish list a while back and eventually found myself wanting it over and over. It is an amazing product. I got it just before a work trip and got the chance to test it out at my hotel for both work and on the Switch. The power comes from the laptop or a direct plug in (USB C) and the monitor has a great picture so it is perfect for the Switch. The inserts give you some help and guidance to make sure the monitor is set up right and it makes it super simple and easy. If I need another travel monitor, this is the one I am choosing in a heartbeat! It is definitely worth the price and I look forward to using it anywhere I can!
The screen is very flat so it is highly portable. It even comes with a nice padded carrying bag. The quality of the screen is great, and it has no delays or troubles keeping up. I do keep mine plugged into the wall because the outlet can provide more reliable power than my computer. The USB-C and HDMI ports both work for display; I keep coords plugged into both ports and have them plugged into separate devices and just unplug the one that I am not using from the device. The monitor also comes with all the cables you need, though I did have to purchase an extendor because I needed mine to reach further. Screen also has an adjustable kickstand so it can stay up on its own and the angle can be adjusted. Monitor does come with a really nice guide on different ways to power and use the monitor so you don’t have to worry about not understanding setup. The instructions are super easy to follow. There is a power button in the monitor so make sure you press that if the screen is blank. There are also volume controls and the audio quality isn’t bad by any means either. Overall I would highly reccommend.
This is an excellent monitor that has exceeded my expectations. It was delivered in its original box without an Amazon box. Inside, the monitor comes with a padded zipper case, several different cables, outlet plug, and 2 screen protectors. Honestly, I’m not a fan of the screen protector. It was difficult to remove the bubbles so I’ll go without it, but I’m not too worried about that. The monitor also has a built in stand which is where the cable plugs into. It also has menu options and an internal speaker. Finally, there is no branding on the monitor which I am very happy about. I’d much rather tell someone about the product in person instead of them noticing a logo and doing research on their own. A+++++++++ product!
This monitor is everything I wanted in a travel screen and more! The ergonomics are very impressive, with a built-in, adjustable kickstand that houses the various connectors. The connectors and adapters are great… there is virtually no video signal that you can’t feed into this monitor. If you have a computer that is capable of sending power and video over USB-C, then you will only need one cable to connect the screen. The picture itself is awesome… crisp, clear, and full HD resolution, and can handle any application or function. And as a nice bonus, the screen has built in speakers. I’ve had other travel monitors, but nothing comes close to this for quality, performance, and ease of use. Thank you, Cocopar for an absolutely amazing product!

* brightness could be better. Obviously, this is an industry-wide limitation as it’s only being powered by the provided cord but still. I’d like to see that if you have it plugged into a wall socket that you can get more brightness that way
I already have two Cocopar 13.3″ portable monitors that I use with my Dell XPS 13 laptop. They have worked out so great that I purchased a 15.6″ Cocopar portable monitor for my Dell XPS 15 laptop. Cocopar portable monitors are quick and easy to set up as they provide everything you need out of the box. And just as you would hope to expect, they are very portable. Cocopar even includes a soft case sleeve to house the monitor when not in use. I’m not a gamer and use the monitor for traditional work type activities, but I do think the color and brightness is great. You can’t go wrong with Cocopar!
I cant say enough about the amazing customer service i received when i purchased this monitor. First i had an issue that i needed a different cord to use with my surface pro. No problem – came in the mail free in 2 days. Then i had trouble getting the portable monitor work with a certain application I use. They took a day, researched the problem (which had more to do with the application than the monitor) and sent me a video that they made to demostrate how to make it work! Above and beyond in every way.
The monitor itself is lightweight, comes with a nice carry case with an external pocket for cords, and a screen protector.
I definitely made the right choice with this purchase!
Very solid product. Completely functional and looks great with both the USB-C cable alone, as well as the combination of a USB-A to C cable + HDMI (all three cables included along with a sleeve, 2 screen protectors and wall plug). I was at first wondering whether the USB-A to C cable needed the wall plug to function, but I can confirm that the cable can be plugged into your computer’s USB port instead without any issues.
Previous reviews/questions had concerns about the screen turning off above 40-50% brightness, and I can confirm that this is not the case with my product. I can turn the brightness to 100% without any additional power from an electrical outlet, suggesting that they fixed the issue (photo attached for proof).
Customer service has also been fantastic so far. I had a question about the product and they satisfactorily answered within 24 hours. At the time of this review they also offer to send 1 of 4 accessories for free once the monitor is received (card included in attached photo). I went with the monitor stand and as of this review I am waiting to receive it – will update if I have issues receiving it or with the accessory itself.
I can’t comment on the longevity of the device but I can update this review if I run into any issues within months of receiving the product. If I don’t update this review I am likely still happy with the product. 🙂
Overall, would certainly buy from them again! Once portable monitor technology advances enough to support 1440p+ resolutions with 120hz+ refresh rates, Cocopar would essentially be the first company I’d look towards for purchasing such a thing.

I did some major combing through amazon pages to find a perfect portable monitor to compliment my laptop. There were many good monitors but 3 things made me decide on this monitor – Thin bezel, kick stand, and no branding anywhere on the monitor.
I opted for a built-in kick stand instead of a folio cover. I could not, for the life of me, find one with both kick-stand and a folio cover for the $200 budget I set. Why can’t anyone make one with both??
I’ve used this monitor for few days now and I don’t know how I managed without one so far!
It’s nice to be able to just use one usb c cable to connect the monitor so I don’t have to worry about finding an outlet to power the monitor.
I wouldn’t use this monitor as a primary monitor for photo or video editing software due to its subpar color accuracy but I find it really practical when using Divinci Resolve with a dual screen mode on.
All in all, it’s a great monitor and I will hold on to it until I find an affordable wireless touch screen portable monitor.
**Note 1: My video review states it has a in/out combo audio jack. I’ve tested it on my laptop and wasn’t able to get the mic working through that audio jack so I’m not 100% sure if it is a combo jack or not.**
**Note 2: Cocopar customer service is, by far, one of the best I’ve experienced on Amazon. They are extremely prompt and will go above and beyond to resolve any product related issues. I had an issue with the short usb cable and it took less than a week for them to resolve it! Adding 1 extra star just for their awesome support!
**Note 3: If your monitor turns off or flickers when you increase the brightness, contact the Cocopar support and they will send you a firmware update which fixes this issue. I’ve tested it with a new firmware and my monitor stays on even on 100% brightness connected to my laptop with only a usb c cable for power/display.

I think it’s best to just leave it as NATIVE and enable HDR on both the monitor and on Windows since the colors looks washed out a bit, but it’s up to your choice on how you want it. I started using portable monitors since 2014 for work — starting with AOC, then ASUS, and now Cocopar. But I like Cocopar the best so far because I can connect using an HDMI or a USB C cable, plus it’s very light and comes with its own stand!
Big pluses for me are:
1) Connect to either HDMI or USB C – comes with two USB C cables + HDMI cable.
2) Audio jack and mini-speaker.
3) Very light and comes with a carrying bag.
4) Kickstand is built in.
5) Good high quality monitor – does not feel cheap.
6) Connect to my smartphone if I wanted to.
Some things to consider before buying:
1) The Included cables may be short for you. I have longer ones which I prefer.
2) Depending on your laptop, you may need two cables–one for power, one for video–instead of one cable. My work laptop only needed one cable for power and video. But my personal laptop requires two cables.
Other than these, I think this a great monitor! I’m definitely recommending Cocopar to my colleagues at work!
I purchased a larger (17.3″) portable monitor from Cocopar and thought it was an exceptional value. It works great and is light but its 17.3″ and barely fits in my work bag. I decided to get a smaller mobile monitor that I can use for work and as a daily “carry”. It has a great design and the picture is wonderful and you can see in the pictures. I think it has a better picture than my laptop. For testing purposes only, I ran a game or two on it and it looked great! Easy to see and kill the bad guys. Of course, this is for my business and I already had two compliments from clients asking about it. It’s light, well-designed and look good. Icing on the cake are the accessories. It came with two screen protectors, three different types of cables to hook it to various devices and a very nice case. The case looks good and has a soft interior. You can see it in the video. The downside to this mobile monitor is all the included accessories means you don’t get to buy more stuff to take care of the mobile electronic monitor you have now purchased! Seriously, no need to buy anything else! They even offer to provide a lightning cable if you contact them. I will make the request and update this review if it is successful. This monitor does exactly what I need it to! I work from home with a nice setup at my desk, but when I want to take advantage of remote work and move to a coffee shop or travel, it’s great to have a portable second screen to work on. It’s thin and light which makes it perfectly packable, and the built in stand makes for less additional accessories needed. Definitely recommend as a portable monitor!

Took monitor to Hawaii for a vacation that was followed by two week’s of work. Home didn’t have a printer so 2nd screen came in real handy. Packed in my carryon, very light, traveled well, and used as my main screen while working as it is bigger than my laptop screen. Would recommend if you need to work while out of town.
It is very lightweight, brightest for my needs. The fonts are easy readable on this screen. All needed cables are included. Good choice!
I don’t have a photo yet to upload but I have to say this portable monitor is fantastic. It’s very well designed and very sleek looking I’ve used it for about a day and I’m very pleased with the quality. One of the greatest things I like is the richness in color depth so you can enjoy music probably games too but also write code and use it as an extension to browse the web.
Totally amazed, as i am setting here working i am convinced that the quality image on this portable monitor is better than my Surface Pro 7. It didn’t sink in until I realized I was moving every thing over to it to work on it. I am beyond satisfied.
Bought my Travel Monitor – 2021 Upgraded 15.6 Inch 1080P FHD HDR in July last year. I absolutely love it. I even recommended it to my sister who bought one as well. The screen quality is excellent, the picture is amazing. The customer service offered by these guys is also incredible. They return calls, follow up with emails and do what they promised. I have no problems recommending them again.
I was actually looking at another company that was double the cost, but came across this monitor and based on the review and cost gave it shot. I routinely work with multiple monitors doing software and cloud development. Overall I believe this is a great travel monitor, especially for folks that want to maintain some level of productivity when they are traveling and away from their home or work office. Additionally, this monitor has seamless integration with MacBook Pro leveraging USB-C. I have incorporated this monitor within my home office setup a side monitor for checking my iMessages and stocks tickers. At the price point, I highly recommend the this travel monitor.
If your looking for a great monitor that comes with everything you need, this is it. It has built in speakers, all the cables you need and the sleeve to protect it. It feels very well built. I would definitely recommend it.
I bought this screen to bring with my work setup to a few different vacations I have planned out for the rest of the year and am very happy with my tests so far. The screen has excellent responsiveness, is very clear, and does not flicker or have any dead pixels. It is extremely thin and lightweight, which is perfect for bringing in a backpack in the carrying case that was included with the purchase on plane flights.
Got the Travel Monitor and set it up. Very clear set of instructions and multiple connector cords for various uses. Even the box it came in was high-end and laid out in a sensible manner. But was best was the picture quality. Once I got things hooked up, I was quite surprised at how good everything looked. I have a 4k laptop and I swear the monitor looked just as good, though it’s not 4k. Exceedingly happy with the purchase. I conduct training and bought the monitor for in-person sessions, so I can use the Presenter Mode in PowerPoint and show only my slides and videos on the monitor. This will more than get the job done.
Lightweight, super easy to set up. No need for a power cord! The monitors are slim and sleek with several options to optimize color accuracy. Works well with both Windows and macOS. Would recommend.
I can’t believe I didn’t find out about this product sooner in life. I primarily use it for work since I’m always on the road visiting my job sites; however, I have used it on my home security cameras and with my iPhone. It is extremely useful and I highly recommend it. Thanks.
I bought this compact screen for use with my CNC router which is connected to a micro PC, I’m a bit restricted for space so both are velcro’d to the wall so as not to use up workbench area. The screen is lightweight and industrial strength Velcro easily holds it securely in place, yet it can still be removed if I want to use it for something else. I have it connect via HDMI because the micro PC does not offer USB-C output. The built-in speakers are a bit weak in terms of volume so I added a small sound bar above it, it’s in a noisy environment so I need the extra volume otherwise it would have been OK I think. I didn’t receive the screen protectors that were listed as part of the package but after contacting the vendors they were sent to me. I do think this thin screen is a rather fragile item (much more so than your usual mobile phone) so if your going to carry it around you need to take care not to knock it. While a protective sleave is supplied I wouldn’t be relying on that to provide 100% protection. Controls are easily accessable on the side even with the screen held flat against a wall. I think this screen is probably OTT for my needs and a less expensive model would have sufficed but investing in decent quality products has never been a bad decision in my experience.
Fantastic portable monitor. During Covid and working from home I’ve spent most of my time in a tiny office because of multiple monitors. Now I can work outside or near the window because I can easily set this up next to my laptop, even on a tiny table.
I don’t know how I went this long without a portable monitor! Great screen quality, light, fits perfectly in my laptop backpack, has a sturdy built in kick stand, and comes with a protective sleeve. 5/5 recommend.
I am very pleased with the quality of the monitor and the service I received. I needed a monitor to extend my laptop view on a business trip and the monitor was shipped in to my work location in short notice.
A few weeks later, in reviewing the manual, I found that I was able to receive a free gift, and one of the items available was the Lightning Digital AV Adapter which I had just found I needed for an international work trip, to enable me to extend my iPhone. The adaptor was requested and shipped. I received it 2 days earlier than promised.

I love this monitor. My brother has one and he completely changed my life with it. I just had to get one myself. I no longer have to go from screen to screen. It’s super bright and works well with my Dell! Definitely a 10/10. Also I’ve never experienced a customer service this great for a product! worth it.
I purchased a monitor, and it quit working within the warranty period. I emailed Cocopar, and they responded immediately. Initially, they sent me a new mini-HDMI (less than two days) cable, thinking that might be the problem, and when I informed them that this did not correct the problem, they sent me another one immediately. I am not used to this type of 5-star service by any technology company. Not only do I recommend the company, but the monitor itself also is fantastic and works great. My coworkers and friends always ask me about it when they see me at the airport or work. I highly recommend this monitor and company.
I plan to use this portable monitor as a desktop monitor replacement so I can easily work outside my home.
The monitor’s color, clarity, and brightness are good, and it works well in portrait or landscape mode. Setup was as simple as plugging in the included USB-C cord. The monitor’s protective case is nicer than I expected, so that’s a bonus.
Monitor looks nice, is very slim/sleek, and came with numerous cord options, including for a wall power plug in. I’ve only had the monitor for a few days, and hope it holds up.
I purchased this to use with my laptop when not at my desk. It works great for a second monitor.. or the main monitor since it’s bigger than my laptop screen. I’ve used it both ways. It’s packaged nicely and relatively simple to use. I did have to use the mini HDMI -> HDMI plus the power cord. I was hoping I wouldn’t need to use the separate power cord, as finding a plug with the laptop alone can be difficult sometimes. Either way, it makes doing work easy when you really need two screens.

I did some major combing through amazon pages to find a perfect portable monitor to compliment my laptop. There were many good monitors but 3 things made me decide on this monitor – Thin bezel, kick stand and the connect with one cable to monitor.

It’s nice to be able to just use one usb c cable to connect the monitor so I don’t have to worry about finding an outlet to power the monitor.
As advertised, great quality, compact and comes with everything you need. I would highly recommend for business travelers that like to work on 2 screens.
My first drop. The reason to buy this is to use it for development work while traveling. It’s lightweight, has a good screen resolution, and intuitive menu navigation for screen settings.. Tested with single cable (USB-C to USB-C – Power and Data and double cable (USB to USB-C – Power and HDMI to Mini HDMI cable – video). No problems.
My intention for this monitor is to work and not play games, so no comment there.

I got the 15.6″ monitor to be able to work while travelling and it is great. Very thin and portable, I was able to carry it in my backpack with my laptops easily on the plane. It is lightweight and comes with all the cables, accessories and everything you need.

After much online searching and review reading the Cocopar Portable Monitor seemed the most “friendly” when used with a MacBook Pro. In addition, I decided to purchase an Apple Thunderbolt 3.0 USB-C to Thunderbolt 3.0 USB-C to ensure compatibility and to keep all of the cable connections white. After several days of use the new system works great with my 2018 MacBook Pro and I suspect that it will continue to do so.
Helpful note: At first use I had difficulty keeping track of the standard size (small) mouse pointer when going from screen-to-screen. I suggest enlarging the size of the mouse pointer in the Accessibility -> Display settings to a size that works for you to track of the moving mouse.
I bought this to use as a second monitor to use for when we travel and I’m very happy with it. It’s slim, light weight, picture quality is good. I haven’t had any issues using with my 2021 MacBook Pro with the Apple M1 chip.
Amazed by this product. Bought 2 other external monitors for traveling and those did not work out. They were too bulky and/or were blurry. This monitor is beautiful and does exactly what we need. Buying at least 2 more for work!
This review is for the Cocopar Portable Monitor (2022 upgraded) 15.6inch [Model #Y156FH7R]. Please note; while this is a general purpose monitor, the following review is a ‘first impressions’ for the monitor as a portable solution for gaming on an Xbox Series S, and therefore may not entirely fit your intent for use. True, there are also other ‘gaming’ monitors out there but spec-wise for a Series S, they are overkill and the prices are often exorbitant.
If you’ve made it to this review, you’ve no doubt likewise suffered severe burnout looking and researching through countless uninspiring portable monitors on offer at Amazon for your best choice. Most of the options available from dubious brands you’ve never heard of, with reviews of screen burn-in, a short life span and poor build quality. I had almost given up on the notion of owning a portable monitor for travel when I found this one from a brand called ‘Cocopar’.
I have been using it for about a week now and so far I am pleasantly satisfied. The delivery was quite quick. I paid 199.
The first thing that immediately sets this monitor apart from its ‘competitors’ on the Amazon market is the the kickstand. While you’ll find with most of the other portable monitors that there are reports of using very flimsy magnetic kickstands, the Cocopar by comparison is very sturdy with its improved “Triangular kickstand design” which also houses the ports. The hinge feels strong and the rubberised bits at the bottom of the kickstand ensure your screen is not moving an inch.
The material used for the build of the screen itself is also a nice metal finish, no cheap plastic to be seen. It’s very light.
The contents were packaged nicely and included a USB-C to USB-C, a USB-A to USB-C, and a HDMI to Mini-HDMI which worked perfectly for setting up the Xbox Series S. The ports when I go to plug in do feel a little stiff at the moment, but at least once they’re in I know they’re secure! The package also comes with a really nice quality grey zip-sleeve-case, with a front pouch handy to keep the manual and required cables.
I so far have only used the USB-C charger that came with the screen as I’m a little unsure if just ‘any’ standard 5V/2A (10W) USB-C charger works. I will reach out to Cocopar about that and ask. The charger plug I will admit here initially did look a little cheap. However, after running the screen for long sessions, I did not feel like the plug was overheating or any such fire hazard issue that some of the other portable monitors on the Amazon marketplace have reportedly endured. Nice peace of mind there, good job Cocopar.
The screen is nice and bright. The main game I had tested was Destiny 2. The out-of-the-box default picture settings are perfectly usable, though a tad washed out. A small tweak to rebalance the colour and contrast however and Destiny 2’s palette looked great, similar enough to what I’ve been familiar with on my home TV.
The only thing I would say that could do with improvement is the button for navigating the menu. The monitor has 2 buttons, a power button and a scroll-wheel. The scroll-wheel has the ability to be clicked-in which brings up the display’s menu settings. This works ‘fine’ but it’s just a little bit awkward and pressing the scroll-wheel in feels spongy. Also once you enter a menu setting, there is no dedicated button for backing out to another setting so you have to wait a few seconds for the menu to time-out before you may proceed to tweaking or enabling/disabling something else. This is only a minor gripe though as the monitor seems to remember any settings you confirm once you turn it off and on again. This is great as many other portable monitor options don’t do that and it means once you adjust the settings how you like, you’ll seldom have to use the scroll-wheel to select anything again.
The same scroll-wheel just for sliding volume control suits perfectly fine though. The volume output itself is passable, maybe a slight bit ‘tinny’ but it does the job. If you’re fussy with audio, there’s a 3.5mm Audio Jack to hook it up to w/e audio output you’d pefer. I’ll personally use a portable speaker or DolbyAtmos through the Xbox Wireless Headset for any long sessions.
Please note, the HDR option is availabe for this monitor but unfortunately it was something I could not test. At the time of this review, the HDR output appears to be locked to 4K resolutions on Xbox, so a no go on a 1080p monitor. Microsoft could hopefully update that however so watch this space.
With the FreeSync option enabled, the Series S then recognised and sent a prompt to enable the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). I tested some Destiny 2 and Halo Infinite gameplay at the monitor’s 60fps with this feature off and on and honestly, I didn’t notice any screen-tear either way. Might as well keep it enabled though. Screen-tear is another common complaint of other portable monitors so it’s been so far, so good from this Cocopar screen!
As an aside, I did briefly test Samsung Dex from my TabS7+ for a dual monitor setup and it worked quite well.
Cocopar also said they stand by a 2 year warranty for free if you email them your Amazon Order # to ‘service@cocopar.net’. I did so and they confirmed to me within a day that the warranty had been registered. Hopefully, I’ll never have reason to rely on a warranty but the offer being there does provide a little more reassurance over how other brands seemingly handle their portable monitor product support.
I also reached out to them over email as their packaging mentioned a free “upgraded accessory” for the product such as another sleeve, or cables, etc. I requested the free ‘Monitor Stand’ which they show in product photos for using with portrait mode. They said they’d send one immediately if I screenshot a review, which is honestly fair enough as I do beleive this monitor deserves to stand out from the other Amazon options in the crowd at the same spec.
I’ll be relying on this monitor for a long while for my travelling gaming solution. I’ll update the review when I recieve the free accessory, and I’ll update again if I ever encounter any problems.
Update #1: Free laptop stand arrived today – quick delivery again! Good sturdy hinges on it to adjust the angle and rest the monitor in portrait or landscape. The rubber feet keep the stand well held in place. The monitor can’t ‘lock on’ to the stand so just be mindful you don’t knock into it but it feels pretty safe up on a desk. I can tuck my Xbox Series S underneath the stand too which is nice so it takes up less space. Nice addition to the product, I’m very pleased.
In a vast Amazon sea of bad portable monitor solutions however, I must say so far this Cocopar monitor bodes very very well and I am impressed.
I work from home and wanted a monitor when traveling. This is perfect and easy to transport with my laptop. Easy to use, just plug it in and it immediately works. I’ve used this with Desktop gaming PC, laptop and PS5.
Out of the box, everything is working perfectly. So I have no complaints about this product. This secondary monitor is very bright and the image quality is very crisp. I do appreciate its slim design and quite lightweight as well. The carrying case provided for travelling is very good, so I don’t have to worry about damaging or scratching this monitor during travels.

When searching for a replacement external monitor, I looked at several brands/models and settled on this monitor based on features, price and reviews. After three months with the monitor, I could not be happier with my selection. The ultra slim design and built-in kick stand were exactly what I was looking for. I have been looking for a second screen to use for PowerPoint presentations on Zoom. I never thought of looking for a portable one till I came across this and I’m happy I did. I’m impressed with the quality and brightness of the screen, as much or more than I hoped for. Being portable is an extra plus as I will be traveling before long and this will be easy to take along and use in our 5th wheel. Very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it.

I got this for an upcoming business trip and needed something that would travel well and not take up much space while still being a quality monitor. I read A LOT of reviews and this one stood out. They were spot on.
This is an outstanding monitor. Immediately out of the box, I plugged it into my laptop with no issues. Great picture and ok sound from the speakers. Everything you need is included with easy instructions and tips. I then checked it with my phone and the performance was great as well. It is slim yet solid. I love the carrying case! Overall, I would highly recommend it!
It seems to be a nice blend of quality, value, and portability (although I’ve only had it for a week so I can’t vouch for longevity).
I’m currently using it with a slightly older MacBook Pro that does not have USB-C. So I’m using the “dual cable” approach: a USB-A-to-USB-C cable to power the monitor and an HDMI cable to provide video signal to it.
For the most part I like the matte screen since it has less glare than glossy ones. That said, the sharpness of the screen is a little soft compared to some screens, so don’t expect a MacBook Pro-level sharpness. That’s in-part because it’s not a retina screen and I think the matte finish probably also diminishes sharpness a little.
As I said, the matte finish has less glare overall. But due to how it handles glare by “spreading it out” over a larger and softer area, sometimes the larger glare area (albeit softer) can be not as desired.
The kickstand for landscape mode is good. I do wish it had some kind of built-in kickstand for portrait mode though.
Super good travel monitor. Plug in play usb or self powered. It comes with a nice protective travel sleeve. All the cable options. I’m a sound editor and travel. It fits in my Belkin computer back pack with a hard drive keyboard trackball mouse and cables. Seems durable. Highly recommend. Great responsive customer service. A little pricer than others travel monitors but worth the quality.
Look, people seem to think they are buying a name-brand $1500 monitor. No, really, you aren’t. This is a cheaply made monitor. It’s not met for your kid to play with. Don’t throw it across the room, drop it, or abuse it. It won’t last. Don’t think you are going to be doing beautiful gaming on this. It was cheap and that’s why I bought it. It makes a great way to compliment a 49″ screen. My primary use will be for working remote-remote (away from home, remotely). It’s a decent monitor. I’m sure it has issues. Know that you aren’t buying a high-end monitor, but rather a cheap one that does what it is designed for.
Between needing an extra monitor for my work laptop and my smaller PC setup this was exactly what I was looking for. Needed a little tinkering with the brightness and HDR settings to get it where I needed it, and the little wheel on the side for menu navigation is much easier to use than I was expecting.
I’ve used this monitor now for over a month and believe it is worth every dollar! The picture quality for movies and tv shows are great, no lag at all. The matte finish is also helpful. I’ve connected it and used it to both my Dell work laptop and my Macbook Air and it works seamlessly either way. Additionally, the screen case is a nice touch, and finding a quality portable monitor with a kickstand at this price range is hard but Cocopar has made it possible! I highly recommend.

Bought this on Amazon yesterday when I got stuck away from home unexpectedly. Delivered the next day, cables included in the box. Plugged it into the laptop and works perfectly! Comes with a carry case for everything and will fit in my bag with my laptop. Best purchase ever! I did not even know they made a portable monitor!
Why didn’t I think of getting one of these at the start of the pandemic? I am a teacher and this has been super useful for creating lecture content and taking notes during meetings. I’ve also tried using it as a bigger screen for my phone watching Netflix, and it has nice display with rich colors, but the speaker is rather quiet. I really appreciate all the extra accessories included – the case, screen protector, cords. Seems pretty rare to get appropriate accessories with electronic purchases.
Really versatile portable Monitor with ajustable volume, brightness, sharpness, etc. Was concerned about the hinge, but its pretty sturdy and has a good range of adjustability. Using it for gaming (switch), as well as for work. Comes with carry case to keep all required cables tidy. Love the matte finish of the screen (without the included screen protector), and the clean design with no branding looks great!
I generally work with dual monitors and needed to start traveling again. Ordered this monitor to supplement my laptop screen while on the road. Very thin and light, fits right in my backpack next to the laptop in it’s padded case. Support from Cocopar has been great, I needed the mini DP to HDMI adapter and they sent it out immediately. Display works flawlessly and is easy to set up. Highly recommend !
So far i have not found anything to dislike about this product, I have been using for travel and it easily fits into my laptop bag. The only possible improvment would be to integrate a battery into the monitor, but no complaints easy enough to set up and with a portable power its mobile. The monitor is well made and very durable, I use the monitor as a second monitor for work and the resolution is great. I would purchase another if I needed one or wanted to give someone a gift.
I have to say, I love this monitor! It made working while traveling so easy when I didn’t have access to usual dual monitor set up at home. My biggest concerns when searching for the ideal monitor was readability since I spend a lot of time working through excel spreadsheets and reviewing incredibly granular details of documents (a huge pain to due in my small thinkpads screen by itself) and a FHD (1080p) or better resolution to ensure text is crisp enough. This monitor honestly hit all my criteria PLUS it comes with a well padded travel case that wasn’t bulky at all! It fit perfectly in my backpack with my other items and I had no issues with the display being damaged. Of course, be mindful that it is a thin display and you’ll need to handle with care wherever you take it but for the most part I highly doubt you’ll need to worry about damaging it as long as nothing heavy is laying on the display while in the case. It’s definitely a go for me and the price point was very ideal! Since this monitor is pretty high quality I’m considering making the jump for their touchscreen 4K model since that’ll be even better for my set up.

Something similar to this monitor is gonna cost you more than $500-$600. This monitor beats them all. It has almost infinite flexibility, options and the screen quality beats some of the most expensive portable screens. It’s quick, easy to install and mount, and also usable with either HDMI or USB-C cable. It has all the required cables along with of its cute handy case. OMG! All for less than $300 is a steal!

Easily connects with C type cable from laptop to monitor. Did not need an additional power source for monitor, so makes set-up clean and easy.
Like the screen adjustments for brightness, etc. Overall image quality is very good. For me I could use a little more brightness. This monitor has more connectivity options than some of the other ones I considered.
This is a fantastic portable monitor; the build quality is top-notch and is super easy to use. In fact, this monitor is way better than my actual laptop monitor! If you are like me and regularly work remotely, you need to get this portable monitor. You will not be disappointed.

This is the best monitor i’ve found and I like the fact it uses a kickstand vs an ipad screen cover type stand. The case that comes with it is also a nice touch. Worth noting if you want to get full brightness you need to plug in the usb power cable. But it does work just usb c-c to the computer. Just wont be 100% brightness due to power limitations.

Great portable monitor. I travel a lot as part of my work and needed a monitor I could analyze markets on while on the road. This has been perfect for that. It’s small enough to easily carry along in my travel bag but big enough for all my needs for actual viewing. Also comes with a nice case and a pocket outside to carry all the necessary cables that come along with it. Would recommend 5/5.
This is a great portable monitor. The screen colours are really vibrant and even better than my laptop screen. The set up is quick and easy.
I love the box and packaging it comes in which is similar to apple products and the fact it comes with a padded case and cables is a plus.
The only criticism is the scroll button is not easy to use due to it being so small.

I absolutely love this thing. When covid hit I became a permanent work from home employee. And that’s great and all but im in the process of moving so more often then not I have to be on the road. With my job it is essential that I have at least two screens due to the many applications I have to use during my work day. So it was close to impossible to travel with my laptop and my heavy HP monitor. With this, there is no stress or worries! I’m able to pack it up in the provided case and it’s so slim and portable. It’s about the same size as my iPad. The picture is clear and bright. I haven’t had one issue and now working on the go has been an absolute breeze!
I received my new portable monitor and I was really surprised by the weight and quality. The package looks really professional in a white simple design box and everything is included inside ready to go. You do not need to install any drivers to start and this monitor is all plug and play. The screen is big enough for me to do work but I’m not sure if is my lighting in the room or not, I found the monitor has reflections of the light which caused me a little burry in certain angles. They do offer a free gift if you register with them. I had turned the monitor over 24 hrs and the screen looks great; no flicking and nothing is wrong. I like the extension stand behind where some products had a flat extension in front. The soft travel protector case is also included unless you want something personalized. Like I said, this upgraded version is a great product.
Its great! It has good quality and even came with a screen protector! It was super easy to set up and understand. I love it! I was also able to get a 3 year warranty and a promo code for it after the purchase. This is a wonderful bonus. This has been great and very much worth the price. Will be buying from the brand again!
**UPDATE: If you need to use this in portrait mode, you’ll need the right stand. Measure carefully where you need to plug in your cables. I ended up ordering one from VIJIM (here on Amazon). The Seller was going to send me a stand as my free gift but gave me a credit instead for the same value (Turns out they couldn’t ship their stand to Canada — only to USA). Excellent customer service!!!
This 15.6″ *portable* monitor is great if you don’t have a separate office or desk and need to use your couch, dining table, counter or any small space for work. I didn’t know such a thing existed so I’ve always gone without — until now

I was looking for a compact monitor that I can safely and easily store as sometimes I have to move accomodations or send my belongings to a storage unit over the summer and storing a regular monitor or a small tv would be too much of a hassle. However, I still wanted to play my ps4, so I decided to give this little (if you can call it that 🙂 ) device a try.
I was initially hesitant about any input lag/latency to be present, but to my surprise, it runs great and I don’t experience any delays when playing games
Additionally, the monitor itself is quite thin and with the included sleeve case and a screen protector, storing it is not a problem at all.
It certainly satisfied all of my needs, so if you’re in a similar situation to me – be assured, this is a great choice 🙂
P.S. On the screenshot you can see it’s simultaneously plugged into my console and a laptop. It’s got a mini hdmi input and 2 usb c inputs, so you can use both usb c and hdmi inputs at the same time and switch between them on the monitor itself, so there’s no need for the wire hassle every time you want to switch between two input sources, which was something I also was fearing
This screen is exactly as expected. Sharp images, lightweight, nice protection pouch and at a very good price. Fast & easy to set up and sturdy. Perfect while working anywhere. I like that fact that there is 2 USB-C port. Work perfectly with my MacBook Pro.
I hadn’t been able to get the product to actually work but after a lot of work in trying to pair the monitor it is working well now and I am very pleased with the quality of the picture. I would suggest adding extra instructions to help pair the product as that was not easy and required more than the usual process.
I searched for a portable montior because I didn’t want to get a large traditional option for the space I’m working with, while also looking for a high definition screen that can be taken on the road with me for use with my gaming devices. A slim design with low weight and a good sized screen became essential. Finding this monitor checked all of the boxes. All of the wiring was included in the package, and the specs were right on point. It’s clean and really beautiful, while maintaining both an office look and maximum versatility for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend if you are looking to meet similar needs, or if having a portable monitor is useful to you in addition to more traditional options.
All in all, I’m very pleased with this purchase. Just a couple issues:
1) Although not the seller’s fault, the unit spent over 2 weeks in transit due to Amazon issues (staffing/weather/Covid).
2) I’m amazed that the screen (which has no batteries of it’s own) can work off just a USB connection to my attached Galaxy S21… But: (My opinion) this is really just for novelty/emergencies since it runs dim when on such low power, and the phone’s battery drains in no time! Plugging it in while using it solves both those problems.
3) The button/switch for the device menu is pretty flimsy. I find this forgivable because it is almost never used, but there is definitely room for improvement in future versions.

El monitor es sper cmodo de usar, fcil de conectar y muy prctico para llevar a todos lados. Estoy satisfecho con como se ve en 1080p y la resolucin. Es sper recomendable para poder llevar tu oficina a cualquier lado
I use this as a second monitor for work. Can be easily moved around and takes a single USB C cable which reduces clutter. Quality is not quite as good as my main monitor, but very good for the price. You can also stand the thing on its end to get a useful portrait mode when required.
Have not tried using a travel second monitor, but I see it being used when I stay overnight somewhere.

Product arrived in a damaged box but packaged so well absolutely zero issues. Connecting was easy and all accessories needed to do so were provided; including really nice carrying case that also fits in my computer bag. I used this Travel Monitor — 2021 Upgraded 15.6 Inch 1080P as my extended screen to replace my non working Macbook Pro 15 2015 screen (I’m not alone about this Macbook Pro screen problem and the screen repair is equivalent to buy a new laptop)……and the connection work fine. Just a plug and Play with connecter provided (USB type C) and fit very well to my existing non working Macbookpro with a good quality of display. I had heard of travel monitors from major companies, but when started to research, numerous reviewers suggested this one. It proved to be one of the best purchases I’ve made. In fact, so good, I bought a second one after trying out the first. The quality is excellent and it is super light. After purchase, I reached out to their customer service with a question and got an immediate response. I’m not a power user, as I use with MS Office & video conferencing, but after using I’m wondering why I still use standard monitors in my house, as these are perfect and easy to pack for travel.
– Narrow bezel
– The kick stand is a great-to-have. It is built sturdily and comes with built-in rubber under pads to avoid slippage.
– Both the screen protectors are of good quality. You have to be very careful when applying or bubbles will remain due to specks of dust. One way to avoid this is to apply the protectors in a room free of dust particles – like a bathroom soon after showering. I know this has helped me in the past and with this screen too.
– Cables that come out of the box are probably all you will ever need. In my case, I ordered a HDMI-mini to HDMI female convertor to connect my Raspberry Pi Zero. Apple users will need a lightning to digital AV adapter if an iPhone needs to be connected.
– The padded carrying case is of very good quality. It has a big pocket to carry all your cables as well.
– The display is matte finished so there is almost no reflection or glare.
Some things I wish were better:
– Color profile is good but not great
– Sound output is average
Overall it is an affordable, high quality portable monitor. Highly recommended!
I have been looking into getting a travel monitor for a little while because I am used to having two and work trips don’t make it easy to have a second monitor. I put this item on my wish list a while back and eventually found myself wanting it over and over. It is an amazing product. I got it just before a work trip and got the chance to test it out at my hotel for both work and on the Switch. The power comes from the laptop or a direct plug in (USB C) and the monitor has a great picture so it is perfect for the Switch. The inserts give you some help and guidance to make sure the monitor is set up right and it makes it super simple and easy. If I need another travel monitor, this is the one I am choosing in a heartbeat! It is definitely worth the price and I look forward to using it anywhere I can!
The screen is very flat so it is highly portable. It even comes with a nice padded carrying bag. The quality of the screen is great, and it has no delays or troubles keeping up. I do keep mine plugged into the wall because the outlet can provide more reliable power than my computer. The USB-C and HDMI ports both work for display; I keep coords plugged into both ports and have them plugged into separate devices and just unplug the one that I am not using from the device. The monitor also comes with all the cables you need, though I did have to purchase an extendor because I needed mine to reach further. Screen also has an adjustable kickstand so it can stay up on its own and the angle can be adjusted. Monitor does come with a really nice guide on different ways to power and use the monitor so you don’t have to worry about not understanding setup. The instructions are super easy to follow. There is a power button in the monitor so make sure you press that if the screen is blank. There are also volume controls and the audio quality isn’t bad by any means either. Overall I would highly reccommend.
This is an excellent monitor that has exceeded my expectations. It was delivered in its original box without an Amazon box. Inside, the monitor comes with a padded zipper case, several different cables, outlet plug, and 2 screen protectors. Honestly, I’m not a fan of the screen protector. It was difficult to remove the bubbles so I’ll go without it, but I’m not too worried about that. The monitor also has a built in stand which is where the cable plugs into. It also has menu options and an internal speaker. Finally, there is no branding on the monitor which I am very happy about. I’d much rather tell someone about the product in person instead of them noticing a logo and doing research on their own. A+++++++++ product!
This monitor is everything I wanted in a travel screen and more! The ergonomics are very impressive, with a built-in, adjustable kickstand that houses the various connectors. The connectors and adapters are great… there is virtually no video signal that you can’t feed into this monitor. If you have a computer that is capable of sending power and video over USB-C, then you will only need one cable to connect the screen. The picture itself is awesome… crisp, clear, and full HD resolution, and can handle any application or function. And as a nice bonus, the screen has built in speakers. I’ve had other travel monitors, but nothing comes close to this for quality, performance, and ease of use. Thank you, Cocopar for an absolutely amazing product!

* brightness could be better. Obviously, this is an industry-wide limitation as it’s only being powered by the provided cord but still. I’d like to see that if you have it plugged into a wall socket that you can get more brightness that way
I already have two Cocopar 13.3″ portable monitors that I use with my Dell XPS 13 laptop. They have worked out so great that I purchased a 15.6″ Cocopar portable monitor for my Dell XPS 15 laptop. Cocopar portable monitors are quick and easy to set up as they provide everything you need out of the box. And just as you would hope to expect, they are very portable. Cocopar even includes a soft case sleeve to house the monitor when not in use. I’m not a gamer and use the monitor for traditional work type activities, but I do think the color and brightness is great. You can’t go wrong with Cocopar!
I cant say enough about the amazing customer service i received when i purchased this monitor. First i had an issue that i needed a different cord to use with my surface pro. No problem – came in the mail free in 2 days. Then i had trouble getting the portable monitor work with a certain application I use. They took a day, researched the problem (which had more to do with the application than the monitor) and sent me a video that they made to demostrate how to make it work! Above and beyond in every way.
The monitor itself is lightweight, comes with a nice carry case with an external pocket for cords, and a screen protector.
I definitely made the right choice with this purchase!
Very solid product. Completely functional and looks great with both the USB-C cable alone, as well as the combination of a USB-A to C cable + HDMI (all three cables included along with a sleeve, 2 screen protectors and wall plug). I was at first wondering whether the USB-A to C cable needed the wall plug to function, but I can confirm that the cable can be plugged into your computer’s USB port instead without any issues.
Previous reviews/questions had concerns about the screen turning off above 40-50% brightness, and I can confirm that this is not the case with my product. I can turn the brightness to 100% without any additional power from an electrical outlet, suggesting that they fixed the issue (photo attached for proof).
Customer service has also been fantastic so far. I had a question about the product and they satisfactorily answered within 24 hours. At the time of this review they also offer to send 1 of 4 accessories for free once the monitor is received (card included in attached photo). I went with the monitor stand and as of this review I am waiting to receive it – will update if I have issues receiving it or with the accessory itself.
I can’t comment on the longevity of the device but I can update this review if I run into any issues within months of receiving the product. If I don’t update this review I am likely still happy with the product. 🙂
Overall, would certainly buy from them again! Once portable monitor technology advances enough to support 1440p+ resolutions with 120hz+ refresh rates, Cocopar would essentially be the first company I’d look towards for purchasing such a thing.
I wanted a 2nd monitor fory laptop that allowed me to be mobile instead of locked down to my desk in my office. What’s the purpose of a laptop if you can’t be mobile right? Aesthetics wise, this is a clean unbranded monitor. Just what I wanted. Who wants a generic name stamped across the front. Functionality wise, it’s great, brightness has adjustments to tune to your needs, picture quality was just as sharp as my laptop monitor at 1080p (1920×1080) resolution, and lastly plugged in via provided cables. I used only the usb-c to usb-c, it provided power and video to the monitor. I even tried my android phone directly to it with one usb-c to usb-c cable to my phone and the monitor powered up and mirrored my phone. This monitor came with a protective case and the cables I needed for it to work directly from the box.

I did some major combing through amazon pages to find a perfect portable monitor to compliment my laptop. There were many good monitors but 3 things made me decide on this monitor – Thin bezel, kick stand, and no branding anywhere on the monitor.
I opted for a built-in kick stand instead of a folio cover. I could not, for the life of me, find one with both kick-stand and a folio cover for the $200 budget I set. Why can’t anyone make one with both??
I’ve used this monitor for few days now and I don’t know how I managed without one so far!
It’s nice to be able to just use one usb c cable to connect the monitor so I don’t have to worry about finding an outlet to power the monitor.
I wouldn’t use this monitor as a primary monitor for photo or video editing software due to its subpar color accuracy but I find it really practical when using Divinci Resolve with a dual screen mode on.
All in all, it’s a great monitor and I will hold on to it until I find an affordable wireless touch screen portable monitor.
**Note 1: My video review states it has a in/out combo audio jack. I’ve tested it on my laptop and wasn’t able to get the mic working through that audio jack so I’m not 100% sure if it is a combo jack or not.**
**Note 2: Cocopar customer service is, by far, one of the best I’ve experienced on Amazon. They are extremely prompt and will go above and beyond to resolve any product related issues. I had an issue with the short usb cable and it took less than a week for them to resolve it! Adding 1 extra star just for their awesome support!
**Note 3: If your monitor turns off or flickers when you increase the brightness, contact the Cocopar support and they will send you a firmware update which fixes this issue. I’ve tested it with a new firmware and my monitor stays on even on 100% brightness connected to my laptop with only a usb c cable for power/display.
I have been using this monitor for day or two now and I’m loving it. Windows does recognize that this monitor is HDR supported, the colors looks great, it’s great for multitasking, and for gaming. I haven’t tried it using my switch yet, but I plan to when I’m on the go or when I get back on campus next year. The setting for the color gamut, although, is a good option for people to change to their preference. I think it’s best to just leave it as NATIVE and enable HDR on both the monitor and on Windows since the colors looks washed out a bit, but it’s up to your choice on how you want it. In conclusion, this is a great portable monitor and I can’t wait to use it on the go for school work, personal projects, and gaming.
I started using portable monitors since 2014 for work — starting with AOC, then ASUS, and now Cocopar. But I like Cocopar the best so far because I can connect using an HDMI or a USB C cable, plus it’s very light and comes with its own stand!
Big pluses for me are:
1) Connect to either HDMI or USB C – comes with two USB C cables + HDMI cable.
2) Audio jack and mini-speaker.
3) Very light and comes with a carrying bag.
4) Kickstand is built in.
5) Good high quality monitor – does not feel cheap.
6) Connect to my smartphone if I wanted to.
Some things to consider before buying:
1) The Included cables may be short for you. I have longer ones which I prefer.
2) Depending on your laptop, you may need two cables–one for power, one for video–instead of one cable. My work laptop only needed one cable for power and video. But my personal laptop requires two cables.
Other than these, I think this a great monitor! I’m definitely recommending Cocopar to my colleagues at work!
I purchased a larger (17.3″) portable monitor from Cocopar and thought it was an exceptional value. It works great and is light but its 17.3″ and barely fits in my work bag. I decided to get a smaller mobile monitor that I can use for work and as a daily “carry”. It has a great design and the picture is wonderful and you can see in the pictures. I think it has a better picture than my laptop. For testing purposes only, I ran a game or two on it and it looked great! Easy to see and kill the bad guys. Of course, this is for my business and I already had two compliments from clients asking about it. It’s light, well-designed and look good. Icing on the cake are the accessories. It came with two screen protectors, three different types of cables to hook it to various devices and a very nice case. The case looks good and has a soft interior. You can see it in the video. The downside to this mobile monitor is all the included accessories means you don’t get to buy more stuff to take care of the mobile electronic monitor you have now purchased! Seriously, no need to buy anything else! They even offer to provide a lightning cable if you contact them. I will make the request and update this review if it is successful. Impressive value and quality monitor!
