Looks great sitting next to the PS5. Quick charging. Little tricky to get used to sitting the controller in the cradle, but, just have to slow it down and carefully place in as apposed to thinking you can chuck down.

Really good product, keeps the controllers tidy on the unit. It can be a little difficult to get the controller lined up right to charge the first few times but you get used to it. Would recommend

It works as it’s supposed to but placing the controllers in the cradle to charge can be a bit fiddly. I have a dual charger for my PS4 and it is also a bit fiddly so I guess that’s just how they are.

I bought this for my partner to be able to wirelessly charge both controllers. It’s turned out to be a great purchase because one of the controllers wouldn’t charge with a cable anymore (thrown and dropped too many times!) but because this charges the controllers wirelessly via the backside of the controller touching the charger it now is usable again. It plugs into the wall and looks nice next to the PlayStation. Good price.

Not the best charger for PS5 dual controller’s , they do charge the controller, but controller’s not very stable on stand , slightly knock them then they dislodge & then you think you’ve charged them but you haven’t , wished I looked around at others before I purchased this one

No need to keep my PS5 on standby to recharge…just switch the PS5 off and stick the controller on this. It has space for a second controller too.

Great product, brought it because the official one just looks plain, no logo, i love the iconic ps logo so this is way better, looks so good next to ps5, perfect as a display and woreless charge

Although not the actual charging dock this is the officially licenced one and in my opinion the best one currently on the mark, nothing flashy just classy, you can go cheaper and have charging indicators but beware as some of the unlicensed ones overcharge the DualSense controller, the indicators on the controller work here and this is separately charged so instead of using a USB connected to the PS5 you can charge the controllers wherever you want so not limited by the console, for the price the best on the market and the PS logo and white and black colour scheme look stunning, a must buy for PS5 owners.

Nice, compact charge station. It does not take up much room at all: probably one of the smallest I’ve had for controllers. I like the rests the controllers sit against and it tucks beside the TV nicely. With it being so small and light, they’ve put a strong rubber pad on the bottom which stops it sliding about at all when putting the controllers down or picking them up.

A full charge does not take too long. I leave the controllers on whilst not playing video games so they are always fully charged, but I would have liked a switch on the station to turn it off and on as I’m not really too happy with it constantly running power through to the controller if it’s not unplugged, especially if I put them to charge overnight.

Been using it for a good amount of time now and I’ve noticed no problems with the battery life. I’ve had a few charge stations that work well for a couple of weeks then gradually get worse and worse diminishing the battery life within a few months, but this has held out well. I also see Sony back it officially so that’s generally a good sign, either way, it does come with a warranty if there are any problems.

Very impressed with this dual controller charger, does the job very well, charges take no longer than directly connected ones. Awesome

The remote fits really well on the docks and looks pretty good. It plugs into the wall not the PlayStation so it means your remote is always charged. The charger doesn’t constantly charge the remote, it stops when it’s full so doesn’t overcharge the battery and cause damage. Very happy with the quality fit the price.

I have been a Console Gamer since the Mega Drive / Snes and since controllers went wireless have always had charge DOCS as I hate it when the controller runs out of power Mid Game.

My issue with some docs in the past is the seating of the controller and how quickly you can DOCK it to charge.

This dock is quite a chunky little fellow, which makes it relatively stable and the docking process is pretty good. It does the job, and looks quite decent, so not bad at all.

Easy to use and good looking in PS5 colours. These chargers get over the problem with hooking up the charger direct to the PS5 using usb. There have been problems with some PS5 where the usb charging from the PS5 has hung the PS5

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have tried a few different charging stations for PS5 controllers. This one comes with official Playstation branding and a slimline design. It’s got its own power supply, so you don’t need to take up one of the PS5’s USB ports to use it or have it anywhere near the PS5.

There isn’t any need to plug the controllers into it either, as it doesn’t use the USB-C ports. Instead it uses induction charging – you just place the controller down and the touchscreen lights start pulsing to indicate charging. When charging is complete, the controller lights turn off. Unlike with other charging stations, there are no lights or charging indicators on the charging station itself – I think a power light at least would have been useful.

The charging station supports two controllers charging at the same time. Because it’s so slim, you do have to take care to not knock it over, but it’s well designed in that it doesn’t slide around on a flat surface, so stays put. There’s a groove cut out in the front so the power cable can run under it, which is a tidy bit of design.

Charging is quick and it’s good that there’s a cut-off to prevent overcharging. When I charge my controllers via the PS5, sometimes they don’t stop pulsing so I am never sure if charging is complete or not. No such problems when using this charging station. I like the fact that it’s Sony-approved and has Playstation branding. I do find placing the controllers down a little bit more fiddly than on other induction charging stations I have tried, but it’s still a lot easier and more convenient to use than stations that use the USB-C port.

Overall, I am very happy with this charging station. It takes up as little space as possible, looks good and works perfectly.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve been on the hunt for the perfect PS5 controller charging dock for quite some time and have eventually come round to this officially licensed charging station, and wish I had started the journey here.

First and foremost the fact that it’s an official item gives me peace of mind that if the controller was to ever break the warranty on it won’t be void due to using non licensed chargers (something I’ve sadly seen happen on a few occasions in the past during my time working in high street gaming chains).

The next thing that ticked the box for me was the overall design.
It’s sleek and compact making it easy to find space for it on my tv stand.
The cord plugs in the middle of the stand so it can be wide onwards, making it easy to remove the controller, without the wire being on view.
There are four sturdy slip proof patches on the bottom that keep the whole thing in place.
The holders for the controller are at the perfect angle to get them in and out easily.
The look of the whole thing is also great. It works well with the PS5 controllers and the console itself and the PS logo finish it all up nicely.

I found that my controllers charged quickly and the charging station works well and does the job!

I did find that there were a couple of things that could use some improvement though (sadly the absolutely perfect charging docks still seems to be missing on the market).
One thing this could use is some kind of indication on when the controllers are charging and/or are fully charged.
Another issue is the sensor on the bottom of the controller isn’t the easiest to feel when it’s fully pushed in to the dock and you have to watch for the dim light on the controller to flash to make sure it’s actually charging, something that’s easy to miss, so a bright light on the dock would be a better way to tell or having it easier to place the controller in the right place first time would help.

Other charging docks do have the lights indicating it’s charging if that’s a deal breaker for you, but I don’t think any other charging dock is as good quality as this and for the price (currently 19.99) this is actually the same price or cheaper than the other decent charging docks out there.

Overall I’m extremely pleased with this item and think it’s my favourite charging dock I’ve tried so far, it isn’t perfect but it’s near close and in my option the closest to perfect there is so I would definitely recommend it.

Official licensed charging dock that really is the best.

PowerA Twin Charging Station for 2 x DualSense Wireless Controllers

this charging station has a very unique design the station has anti-slip pads to that helps the controls sit back and not fall out. the station makes an audible click when you attach the control and a click to release function when your ready to use the control again.
the control have an indicator when its charging to let you know when its fully charged.
the station is mains powered keeping your USB free on the console for something else.

the quality of the charging station is very high and you get a fully licensed product for under 20 at the time of review

this would make a good gift to someone who loves there gaming

Not just a charger but also a display for your controller. The dock follows the same style as the console, it almost looks like it is part of the PS bundle. Each controller cradle has a rubber padding to prevent scratching the surface of the controllers. Both charging cradles can be used simultaneously or only one at the time. This wireless charger guarantees that my controller is always fully charged when I’m ready to play. My only disappointment regarding this item is the charger. It comes with an old styled bulky power supply with a dc power plug which is an outdated technology, I would expect to charge this trough a Type C or at least a mini-USB port in 2021. However this charger is only cost you 19.99 to buy (at the time of the review) and I would definitely recommend this to other PS5 owners.

Ive reviewed a few different versions lately and this is definitely one of the better ones.
So this is a mains powered unit which I do prefer and fits 2 controllers. It is a little fiddly ensuring its in the right position, but once placed it charges very well. It feels solid enough and it should last for some time to come. It stays within the current PS5 aesthetic of white and black and doesn’t have a huge footprint.
    A good product.

Your receive a dual charger for the PS5 controller

Quality is good, probably the best charger I’ve had, when the PS5 controllers feel so well made, and beautifully weighted, you want something that is well made to compliment the controllers.

It works perfectly, the chargers sit securely, its a little fiddly to get them in the slot, but I’ve found that with most of this type of charger

A good product, its not expensive and works perfectly, best I’ve tried.

This PS five docking station charger provides very fast charging to the actual controllers and this was very important very much needed I really do admire the product it looks very cool too and is very well designed and is very well made the plastic does seem a little bit cheap but that can be looked aside and everything else is fine it’s easy to take off and put on the actual controllers on the charging stations and I haven’t had any issues with it I definitely recommend it for the price if you’re looking for a bargain grab yourself one of these specially if you have a PS5 with a bunch of controllers.

For the current price of under 30 this is a smart and officially licensed product. it looks good on the PlayStation stand.

As it’s officially licensed, it displays the PS logo and looks like a futuristic pair of VR glasses. The controllers lay sit in it back to back, which I think not only looks neat, but makes a design statement. Personally I prefer it to the original charging station for PS5.

The anti-slip and weighted base ensures the stand does not slip about as we quickly draw out the controller for rapid play. The easy in/easy out does not detract away from gaming time especially in a multiplayer household.

It also comes with a two year warranty, which just gives me a bit more security knowing that the company trust their product enough to see the consumer through two years worth of regular home use.

There are generic brands and then there are official licensed products. The latter group will display the logo and it’s visible on this controller charging dock. This certifies that product has been designed for the respective PlayStation version (e.g. PS4 or PS5) and has been confirmed by the licensees to meet SIE’s (Sony’s) standards.

This license possibly explains the extra cost – the harder part is to work out whether it’s worth the extra cost. This charger is more expensive than cheaper generic alternatives.

Compact twin controller charger that doesn’t look out of place by the TV and PS5. It’s actually quite stylish and cool looking.

Charges two controllers at same time – easy to engage and release chargers.

Having just managed to get a PS5 my thoughts turn to a charger as the supplied cables are quite short.

Licensed by Sony the look of it from the product to the packaging is very much in keeping and the charger works very well.

very well made, good quality materials. however i find that the controllers do not locate onto the charging contacts as well as other chargers I have and the controllers themselves are not as securely in place.

There are alot of aftermarket docks on the market, varying degrees of quality. This is definitely at the better end of the scale, it feels decent, and it’s officially licensed product, so has some quality control and supervision by Sony.

Setup was a breeze (it uses a power adaptor rather than USB-C) I liked how easy it was to drop the controllers in and they found the correct location. I didn’t like the lack of support at the edges, it was easy for the controller to fall off sideways. It’s not a huge deal, but slightly annoying in where I have positioned my charger, it’s too easy to knock them.

All in all, a credible alternative to the official charging base, and good value, priced between the Sony official dock, and el-cheapo aftermarket products.

If you’re struggling to find the official Sony PlayStation dual charging station, this is the next best thing.

This is an officially licensed product, hence why it has the PlayStation logos on it. Personally, I think it looks smarter than the original, but prefer the original ways of docking (both facing forward), whereas this one is back to back.

It also plugs straight into the mains which I like and the unit has good grip underneath. Furthermore, you can’t overcharged your DualSense as the charger knows when to stop.

    Would highly recommend.

Attractively designed and functional duel charger which paired up fine and works brilliantly. It looks good and it appears to be well made. You can charge two controllers with this and for what you are getting, I think the pricing is pretty fair.

Really high quality and properly authorised item! Arrived in the lovely branded box with the authorised logo on which makes and tells you it’s going to be a good item. Inside the dock is sat nicely and is really to be plugged in a use. Very minimal effort to set up and work instantly once connected to power. You can change two controllers at a time and the unit has a none slip base too. Overall it’s a good item, I’m unsure on the price currently but I would say it’s worth up to 30.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWell made, but there was a smokey smell when I opened the box from the plug. Rubber feet on the base and works from a mains charge which would have been better to have an alternate USB cabled powering option especially considering the output power is 5v which is exactly the same as a USB port.

Unlike most other charging stations, this one charges from the copper ports that house the 3mm headphone port which I didn’t think would work but it does. The additional plastic post that is mostly hidden until it’s revealed with the copper connectors when pushing down on the surrounding plastic adds for some extra support to keep it a little more stable in the docking station which is a plus – in the video I’m giving quite a bit of force on the taps but doesn’t move around very much.

    1bar 10:55pm
    2bars 11:50pm
    Full: 12:20am
2-3 hours for a full charge, my Dualsense was probably a whole bar full when I tested the charging time.
