Terms and Conditions about Preciva Hot Air Soldering Station:
1. Before turn on the power, the air pressure gun handle must be placed on the handle holder.
2. Please keep the air-vents unblocked! No blockages.
3. After finished the work, you must place the heating handle on the handle holder. And let the machine automatically cool down until the display “—” (stop sending) before turning off the power switch of the gun.
4. When using a smaller nozzle other than the standard nozzle of the machine, to avoid damage to the gun, the air volume must be adjusted to maximum and use it in a short period of time under lower temperature.
5. According to the requirements of the work, choose a suitable nozzle. Different nozzles may have a slight temperature difference. The distance between the outlet and the object is at least 2 mm.
6. When first time use it, please pay attention to check the soldering iron tip’s temperature change . When the temperature rises to just deepen the tin wire, apply a layer of tin on the soldering iron tip and adjust to the required temperature.
7. The temperature of the soldering iron tip is not recommended to set very high. Excessive temperature will weaken the function of the soldering iron. When the interval is not in use, please lower the temperature.
8. The soldering tips should be cleaned regularly with a cleaning sponge. After used, the soldering tips should be wiped clean and plated with a new layer of tin to prevent oxidation of it.
Attention to the use of air gun
1. Four types of nozzles (φ5mm φ8mm φ10mm 13*13mm) are presented in the kit, we do not recommend using nozzles below φ5mm
2. The maximum wind speed of the air gun is 120L/min. When the temperature is set higher than 380℃, the wind speed should be higher than 50L/min, otherwise the heat accumulation will cause the handle of the air gun to melt due to high temperature.
Notice
1. When installing the nozzle, do not too force it! do not use pliers to pull the edge of the nozzle! Do not force the bolt to tighten!
2. Firstly let the heating tube and nozzle cooling down before installing the nozzle.
3.To avoid burns to your body, do not touch the heating tube or spray the face directly with air pressure gun. At the beginning of the startup, white smoke may be emitted. This is a normal phenomenon that it will disappear later.

I have held off from changing from a straight forward soldering iron to a station, wish I had changed earlier. This is a good piece of kit, easy to adjust and well built. The hot air gun is very useful, shrink sleeves, removal of components etc. I use a wedge ended tip on the soldering iron and it performs very well, maintaining its heat. Very Good
Managed to try this out for the first time, great little piece of kit with plenty of bits and heads for the devices. I was surprised on how well everything just fit together. The manual was almost unnecessary, due to how everything just fit in. I enjoyed trying out the reflow station, and it is FAST and easy to use. I am not an expert by a long shot, but as an amateur, I found it easy to use, simple to assemble, and fast to clean and maintain. Everything I needed was included, except some flux. Recommended.
Used a few times now and have to say for the price im impressed. Half the price of one i was looking at and does the job well. Well put together and sturdy. No complaints here

Used on 2 separate occasions and was great. On the third time the heat shroud melted which I didn’t notice until some of the molten plastic fell on my hand hence the Hospital visit. Still can’t fathom out how it melted while cooling down in the cradle. Won’t get another.
Really pleased with the performance and value of this soldering station. A great choice for a temp controlled unit that is perfect for hobbyists and small workshops. Extra tips included and a reel of non lead solder to get you going ..
Even though its smaller then I thought, I am extremely impressed with how well this soldering station preforms on a range of tasks.

This seems to be a rebadged version of the Yihua, they look identical. This means there are a wide option of soldering tips and irons can are compatible with this station cheaply. A old pair of yihua soldering tweezers I had connected and worked perfectly. If you are replacing the iron be sure that the 6 pin connector is female on the iron side.
The same applies to the hot air gun which although not detachable can accommodate a variety of 20mm nozzles adapted for SMD soldering and other uses.
The station has a very low profile, even with the solder iron and reel holder attached. If you don’t you’ve the option of using it for other things.
Downsides:
1. I would have liked a detachable power cable with something like a C6 socket. Not a problem if you have it plugged in all the time, but inconvenient if you want to put it away when not in use.
2. No storage on the unit for the nozzles. I was able to 3d print mount a holder for the side of it, but it would have been nice to have.
3. The nozzles for the hot air gun require a phillips head for securing. This is a common feature with this size and you typically only get the bayonet type on larger hot air guns.
But that is just me nitpicking, this is a great soldering station that has handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far.
Came as described and works as expected. Two months in and no issues or concerns, the heat gun is used by myself to heat shrink Batteries all the time and is ideal for that purpose and the soldering iron works well. Overall happy with the purchase and definitely recommend it as a budget option two in one device.
I haven’t used this a great deal yet, but the performance seems to be good. I like the temperature control and the way the iron and the hot air gun “go to sleep” when not used, but soon come back to temperature when needed.
All in all very pleased with my purchase.
My lad is using this for console repairs and controller repairs. Hot air unit is brilliant for releasing parts soldered onto boards and the iron is good for soldering. Heats up quick and does the job well.
Bought for rework on mobile phone. practiced first with heat gun on a piece of redundant pcb – excellent results. Looking forward to testing reliability and robustness…

With the hot air gun, I’m finally able to repair game controller analog sticks, as the traces are too weak and lift if wick is used!! (heat all nine contacts simultaneously and pull). The the soldering iron itself works just fine and the provided tips are of decent quality, they have lasted longer than one’s I have purchased elsewhere as replacements/spares. The stands for holding both the soldering iron and heat gun are good and sturdy and the whole unit is nicely put together.
I would certainly recommend for anyone who wants to improve their soldering skills, especially if they are planning on working on smaller components and more sensitive equipment (where a lifted pad would be major trouble!). You just cannot beat the benefits of having more control over your soldering iron and this soldering station certainly provides that! =)
This device is perfect for all my soldering needs. The compact device allows me to have it sit perfectly on my desk. All round great device for both SMD and SMT needs. Also comes with some lovely 0.8 mm solde

First time I’ve used an air gun and I can see why it’s got such good reviews. Done plenty of soldering in my time to average standards of competency but the air gun takes it to a new level. Really looking forward to dealing with those electrical repairs I’ve been putting off for ages.
The only downside is that the air gun isn’t detachable like the iron. I use an iron more than the air gun so would have preferred it out of the way until needed.
Apart from that minor issue I love it.
This works really well. The solder station is a good fine point soldering iron, does what you would expect. The hot air rework tool is a revelation. Allows removal of SMD components without damage and with ease. I was skeptical of this station because of the low price, but I am very pleased with it.
Perfect.. just what I needed A** on time and works like a dream.

I’ve been meaning to get into microsoldering for a while now and thought I’d start off with this. Took time getting used to but finished changing my first tristar chip today on an iPhone using this! A bunch of accessories which are handy. Overall a really good piece of kit especially for beginners.
This soldering station has blown me away and I wish I had bought one earlier. The hot air gun is like magic and can fix your problem without soldering. You choose a nozzle and clamp in on, you set your temperature and heat the solder on the board. The direct heat can slightly liquify and join broken connections. Fantastic.
The soldering iron has a nice insulated grip, you can change the tips easily depending upon your work and you can precisely control the temperature.
I love the fact this has an earthing wire, so you can prevent damaging your circuit board from static build up.
It’s unfortunate but sadly nowadays the things we buy just don’t last and generally always the day after the warranty has run out.
Don’t be afraid to try and open the item and see if you can fix it.
Quite often it’s only a loose connecting component due to mass-production, so a quick scan and blast of hot air can fix it.
Overall, this unit is not very big so easily fits at the back of my work station. I’m really enjoying fixing all my broken items. I just need to learn more about electrical components now.
