At their current price of 17.99, this is reasonable value as you can buy a single foiled pouch for around 1.99. The argument as to whether these foot pads actually achieve anything is ongoing and so I won’t be discussing their efficacy. The pads stick to the underside of the foot very well, I didn’t wear socks with them as recommended and both pads were still firmly adhered to my feet in the morning. Once I peeled them off, there was a sticky residue left on parts of my foot. I could not smell any lavender at all, only charcoal. Since using these she says it hasn’t been as bad. They seem to work best in conjunction with other solutions, like creams. Lavender is said to help with sleep, lower blood pressure, relieve stress and Rheumatic discomfort. You get application instructions and Ingredients on the box and sachets, even with pictures to help show you how to put on and use these foot pads, which I find always helpful. Once opened, the box contains 10 foiled sachet packets which contains two foot pads which really have a strong smell of Lavender. It was really easy to apply these patches to my feet as I just took of the plastic backing and placed a patch to the arch of my feet. They stuck well until I started to walk around and then they started to peel off. I put a pair of socks on, and they stayed in place. When I took the pads off, the pad part was black and had a bad odour to it and they were stiff. Make sure that you wash your feet afterwards due to the smell. The skin where the pad was is definitely softer and smoother, so it is making my skin more hydrated. I like these and I can feel the difference with the skin of my feet after only a couple of uses. Easy to use. Once you open the small package you get 2 lavender patches. They peel like a band aid, the centre has all the lavender composition and ther borders contain the glue to stick to the skin. You just need to place the centre of the product in the middle of your feet and stick in place. Is not super comfortable you feel something there that move a bit. You will definitely need to place some socks on top of it since they might come off a bit, specially if you move a lot like me. (My friend also used them and it didn’t move at all for her). In the morning when removing you can see that internal middle section of the product with darker and oily section from the toxins. I can’t wear socks with my restless legs but I think that would solve that problem. They smell a little of lavender but not too powerful and after a while they become a bit hard but I didn’t find them too uncomfortable and I slept quite well. They do leave a sticky residue the next morning when they are removed but a quick wipe with a warm cloth brings it off. They smell nice (assuming you like lavender of course!) , apply like a big plaster and feel like you’re doing some form of pampering for your feet. They seem to last awhile applied and don’t cause irritation or interfere while on. Leave very mild residue (very much like a plaster) and aren’t massively noticeable – all of which I count as pluses! Pampering for your fee Anonymous says: 25/02/2022 at Having used a similar product once before I was prepared for the strong vinegar smell that accompanies this sort of product. While I couldn’t necessarily discern a lavender smell, the vinegar smell seemed to be less overpowering than expected, possibly as a result of the lavender. You get 10 foil packs, each containing two sticky pads, one for each foot. They already have a black hue, due to the ingredients which include bamboo vinegar. They stick well but you are advised to wear a pair of socks on top and then leave them to work overnight to draw out impurities. In the morning the pads have presumably drawn those impurities through the sole of the foot and into the pad which is now black and feels saturated with moisture. Wash feet well to remove the smell of vinegar. As for whether they work, I’m prepared to believe they have a benefit. Vinegar has long been used as an aid to detox after all. I feel detoxed but who knows how much of this is down to the placebo effect? In terms of packaging, a basic schoolboy typo on the side of the box hilariously reads “food pads” rather than foot pads!
