I hate fans that just recycle warm air, but couldn’t afford a top end cooling fan.
This was affordable & quiet, and cools the air perfectly! Best fan I’ve ever bough

This has been on every night since I bought it. A pregnant woman’s dream haha but aside from that really impressed with this. The added feature of having a remote also is genius

Really good fan that has a good night option so you can sleep with it still on. It’s big and quite clunky but is super effective and cooling and that’s the most important thing!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe need a new tower fan that was mobile so we could change rooms. And one that wasn’t too noisy. Most of the time we have this on level one and it is enough just to cool us. The time emoji goes up to 8 hours in one hour increments. And one of the big selling points was the 90 oscillation of this fan. Although advertised as next day delivery, we got ours two days after ordering. A nice subtle design blends in to any room. One small issue with the remote control is that the front of a fan needs to be facing you before the remote seems to work. Other than that we are very pleased.

I like the remote control options. The fan is generally quiet for its size.
Obviously on the highest speed you will hear some noise.
The assembly was easy, it looks smart and works well.

Not a review guy, but this week has been hot and those 20 quid circle fans do nothing. Are you dying in a heatwave? This is the fan for you. Reasonably quiet, and a solid steady stream of cold ai

Absolutely love this fan. So easy to assemble. Instructions easy to follow. It’s not as quiet as I would have liked on setting two but I can live with that. Would definitely recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought this tower fan as an upgrade to an existing one to prepare for one or more intense heatwaves in London this summer – during the two heatwaves last year my old fan made it possible to sleep in my bedroom, if only just.

We bought this for the heatwaves in 2022 and it worked great. I didn’t think it was too noisy and the background noise helped us sleep better, to be honest. Well worth the money, no complaints.

Bought this fan and another brand for comparison to replace old fans. This one is great! Quiet, easy to operate, cools me at night. What more do you need?

Lovely design, very lightweight, quiet and packs a punch with airflow. Got us through the sweltering summer, I only wish I’d bought it sooner. I spent far too long deciding which fan to buy and I should have taken the plunge much sooner, this was absolutely perfect! Successfully cooled the entire room no matter which room it was in, be it the large living room or bedroom – even over the top of our rather tall bed to my husband’s side. It’s a really nice touch to have the night and ECO modes. I love it, and will more than likely buy another next summer so I don’t have to transfer one from one room to another. It’s also decent price too compared to the hundreds of others I looked at that had far worse reviews, weren’t as pleasing on the eye and we’re much more basic. If you’re not sure which one to get, buy this one!

I got this at the height of the heatwaves in the summer just gone and was really impressed with its performance. Considering the cost, I found it to be powerful and cooled a medium sized room very efficiently.

    Highly recommended.

Small footprint – not as tall as some others out there and quieter than I thought it would be. Happy with the purchase.

Nice tower fan to have in the bedroom with a couple of modes, helped me a lot in these past days. The controller has a bad connection to the fan, but apart from that all good

I love everything about this tower fan, all the different settings so you can tailor it how you
prefer, love the remote control. A bit on the noisy side but only at the very high setting. I wish I had this fan during the extreme heatwave back in July, but I’m confident this fan will not let me down when needed in the future.

This is a fan that actually blows cool air! This was amazing during the uk heatwave we had this year with temperatures of around 40degrees c and working from home. It is pretty quiet on the lowest setting meaning I could sleep with it on night mode. I would buy agai

This fan is fantastic. Initially I had issue with a creeking sound at high speed but over time it went away… Infact I had raised request for return but the fan actually started working better and I kept it 🙂 Go for it!

With the UK heatwave, I bought this and fell in love.
Some reviews criticised the noise, which is nonsense. This is quieter than a small fan.
It has multiple settings, and looks modern. I used it when it was too hot to sleep, and with the timer which automatically switches off after the set time, it is worth every penny!

Great product all round; powerful, quiet and smooth. Only thing that gets it from 5.0 rating to 4.95 is the remote control which does not seem to have a long range but other than that, nothing I’ll take away from this fan.

Love this model. Elegant, powerful or calmer as needed. It’s quiet and has it’s own remote control and timer function, both very useful. Highly recommended.

    What’s to say?

It’s a upright fan, blows cool air and doesn’t make a racket doing it unlike other slim up right fans. The fan does have an eco mode built in as it automatically goes down to very low after a long period of time. The remote is extremely handy, shame it’s a standard IR remote so you have to aim it at the top of the fan and only works when it’s directly line of sight of the remote.

The one exception to most upright rotating fans is this has a couple degrees on the oscilation compared to other osciliating fans. Now, I haven’t measured if it’s exactly 90 degrees as the marketing material claims but it does cover the entire living room when placed in the corner and during the summer heatwaves it was much needed for the family. Bought three during prime day sales prior to the heatwaves so… although my family was kept cool during the summer. My bank account definitely wasn’t!

Anyway, one of them apparently has developed a racket when it rotates – this one has been placed ontop of carpet (that may be the culprit – need to do more investigating). The other two – working so far without issues albeit now very sparingly as autumn approaches with it a massive spike in electricity bills….

Have had to increase the water flow temp up 5 degrees on the boiler from 45 to 50 (reduced down from 75 during the summer – otherwise I’d have turned into dehydrated chalk outline given my room is literally next to the boiler and hotwater tank. Depending how the weather goes, I’ll probably turn it down to 40 degrees until end of Oct. We had to have the water flow temp at 75 degrees because of over Gran as the water was never hot enough, who has now sadly passed and I completely forgot about boiler flow temp until end of August when I was on the cusp of turning into chalk.

Joking aside, the main reason I mention this – by turning down the water flow temp on boilers folks will save a fair abit on their gas / electricity bill.

Best fan I have ever had. I especially like the timing settings on it. Because I use it for my puppies in hot weather and with the current energy crisis it means I can set it to run for a certain length of time and it also has an eco mode if the low mode isn’t quite powerful enough and you don’t want to leave it on higher settings. I am always blowing hot and cold so the remote control has been a god send – the pups literally follow me everywhere and this prevents me from disturbing them from a nap (they will wake at sligh movement) and me from losing the only time I get some peace and quiet Happy Days

It’s really easy to use and quite sturdy and has a place at the back of the tower to put your hand to pick it up and move it, the lead is just under 6 feet long,so you can place it anywear! also on the tower it lights up so u know what mode you are useing, it also has an Eco mode so it’s more engergy efficient, and 2 of the modes are quite quiet, I LOVE THIS TOWER, I bought my daughter a more expensive tower fan that was a different brand first BUT it turned out to be more floppy and just not aswell constucted. I would recommend this tower fan especially if you have a pet or in a sitting room or the bedroom.

It certainly does what it should and an absolute blessing in the extreme heat. It is nice and quiet. Only criticism is that it never feels firmly secure on base as inclined to a very slight tilt. I bought this on Prime Day at a discounted price but not sure I would have bought at full price.

  37. John Hislop says:

     United Kingdom

With the recent heatwaves in the UK, I was in desperate need for a good quality not-so-expensive fan. I had to keep in mind the rising electricity prices during my selection process and this was the best option (the eco mode works as a charm).
We have been using the fan for 12-16hrs periods (we have a super hot flat) and everything has been perfect until now. We barely use the remote control and timer functions but given the quality of the fan I don’t expect to find any issues anytime soon.
    Great purchase!

I use the fan in my bedroom during the heatwave in mid August22. I’m quite sensitive to the noise that it creates. This fan however is a good purchase in my book. I will use it again. I thought it may be good to dry washing in the autumn & winter. I’ll try to work out if it’s cheaper to use the tumble dryer. The remote control is very useful. The timer is a great feature. Saves you getting out of bed if the timer isn’t in.

So, I have the 30″ already and needed a 40″ for another room.
In all I absolutely LOVE my fans but they’re a bit wobbly at the base so it kind of makes you afraid to move it once you’ve put it in place.
The noise is soothing if anything.
My remote doesn’t work well, you have to point it to the top of the fan so it’s pretty pointless if you’re sitting down.
You would think all tower fans worked the same but they do not!! The probreeze actually pushes out cold air and it’s an absolute refreshing feeling when you’re sitting in horrid UK heatwaves!
    Would definitely recommend

Picked this up during the Prime day sales, but have bought another one today at its regular price to help combat the heatwave.

Best fan I’ve ever owned. Is whisper quiet, has so many different settings (including a “natural” effect which mimics different strengths of wind) and a remote control that actually works.

Will be buying a few more of these if they go back on sale again to kit out the rest of the house.

Like many, i wanted a fan for this hot weather – i wasnt sure about a tower and and i did some reasearch, and punted on this 40″ Probreeze. i’m very pleased – a good amount of fan and reaches easily from the end of a bed and in a front room. Air is slightly cooling more so than other fans that just move the warm air about – its not air conditioning, obviously, but however it brings in the air then moves it out has a fractional cooling effect perhaps the narrower channels of a tower fan help with this principle. overall v happy with this fan and would recomend.

I like the lovely cool breeze this fan creates with extra strength when needed. I like the different available controls. I like the way I can stand it in the corner of my room and it looks unobtrusive. I don’t like the high pitched noise that you can hear when the fan is not running but is still plugged in, it is barely perceptible but is still annoying, however it just means I have to make the effort to get up and switch it off at the socket when not in use. I didn’t like the initial plastic smell it created but this seems to be wearing off now.
