Headset is amazing for gaming especially if you like razor synapse as it allows you to have the full functionality of the headset. Being able to switch between special audio and change the balance on the external mini amp allows you to control your immersion.
Awesome value for the price I paid. Sounds amazing with ps5
If its your first headset or you are upgrading from a cheaper alternative (turtle beach, other amazon brands) then this will blow you away.
The directional audio is 2nd to none – game changer for FPS.
Mic is crystal clear and the ability to retract it into the headset will help preserve it for future use.
Highly recommend.
Good Quality, decent sound, cable is well shielded and fairly long.
Definately a good buy.
For better noise cancellation you have to have your volume a bit up
But all round there grea
Bought it for my xbox series s. Headset have great sound to it, really good noise cancellation and cute looks. I couldn’t fault it if I tried
For the price can’t really complain, I think the 7.1 sound is software based. Build quality was adequate considering the price. Quite lightweight howeve
I am used to higher end headphones aimed at higher end enthusiasts but this headset is good better then any of the other gaming headsets I have owned so far just be nicer to have ANC however I didn’t expect to have that at this price point, great overall.
My partner bought me these years ago and I’ve been using them since, my sister wanted a pair herself so I got her them! We both use them for gaming and on the pc, they’re a great headse
They take a little getting used to at first, but its well worth the perseverance. They bring a whole new level to the gaming experience.
ice sound positionig ,tracing enemy in MW BO, Enlisted, or any other FPS game seems right. Music – just get some amplifier and DT-990 🙂 Fragile cables, i think they wont last long but its just a prediction, No USB connectivity – can be plugged to xbox controller – wich is bad for PC users. Overall itst really good – for the price.
Sound is ok. No more than OK.
Isolation is dreadful — ambient sounds come right through to your ears.
Mic is ok.
Cord is good as cords go, but I don’t really know why you wouldn’t go cordless — the cord gets annoying easily.
Very nice headset, comes with the same colour splitter in the box. Microphone is retractable and bendy! Both mic and the headphones themselves are great quality. Noise cancellation isn’t the best but I wasn’t looking for a noise cancelling headset anyway.
I hope it lasts!
I didn’t want to give this a 4* so I’ll give it a 4.9/5,only due to not being able to swivel the ear covers individually. Other than that, it’s great value for money.
I have had no complaints on the microphone end of things, and the sound quality is great for what you’re paying.
Everything is wonderful, until you wear these too long. The cooling gel does work but eventually becomes overwhelmed. The weight of these things isn’t bad but you will begin to feel it with enough time, and adjustments to fit your head come at the cost of a barely blood stopping grip just to keep it in place if you aren’t sat down. Lying down with these will be bad for your head if used for more than 2h, which is a shame as they are wonderful for night-time relaxation thanks to the sound quality. Considering these are mainly for gaming I rate them 5 stars, but for those others out there looking for a headset and decent multipurpose headphones just be wary of prolonged use when lying down.
prefacing this with I know nothing about headphones:
they sound great, they’re super comfy, don’t do that thing cheaper ones do where they get claggy if you wear them too long, very good length of cable, nice sounding mic according to others, ect.
genuinely can’t fault them, been a few months a couple of light drops, no dip in quality
I bought these reduced from 85 mostly for the THX Spatial. Headphones are not bad but I don’t really see much of a difference from a low budget gaming headset to be honest. Razer apps are a bit of a pain to deal with. Once everything is installed it works fine. If the price was not reduced to around 45 when I got them I would definitely not spend 90 for them….way better options on the market for the price.
Not tested with other games as I’m new to this genre, but surprisingly good with fortnite. They really do deliver surround sound performance, which you need in role play games like this.
Set up was a pain, but I got there eventually. But then I’m new to this sort of stuff. Not sure that I’m using the full range of features that come with the package, but they do what I need them to do.
I have three of these in my household now so that should give you some idea how good these are.
Bought my first pair a couple of years ago direct from Razer – these headsets are also available as an “oval” option, and with cut outs in the foam pads for glasses wearers. There are also headset stands available, but these do not feature any of Razer’s Chroma lighting features.
Sound quality is excellent, and there’s an in line mute & volume control slider – but the game/chat mix needs to be done on the console.
These can be just be plugged into any controller and they just work like an official headset. I’ve tested these on Xbox One, PS4 & PS5 with no issues. The mic boom slides in and out of the left side earcup, and is very flexible.
