Unboxing the razer wolverine controller is an enjoyable experience. The controller is a snug fit inside some good quality foam and the cable is packaged underneath. The whole thing feels quality before you even plug it in which helps make up for the price.
The controller itself has a nice solid feel in your hands. I moved straight from a first gen Microsoft elite controller and this is definitely an improvement. A satisfying click to the buttons adds to the feel of quality.
My only negative, and it’s a small one, is that I occasionally accidentally press one of the lower extra buttons. This is due to how I hold the controller and may not affect everyone.
Performance is good and the Razer app allows easy configuration of buttons and lighting options. The light itself is bright and a nice added feature for late night gaming.
The trigger buttons have adjustable travel which is great for different games. Long travel for driving, hair trigger for shooting!
All in all I’d definitely recommend the Razer Wolverine controller. A marked step up from a standard controller and genuine rival for the Elite.
The controller is not wireless which suits me but may not be for everyone.
Remember that wired controllers can cause a buzzing audible to other players through your mic. It’s best to couple this with a wireless headset for the best experience all round. Unless you don’t have any friends. Then you’re fine.

La prise en mains est super agrable et bizarrement le mme constat pour moi qui est de grande mains (taille 12) et ma femme petit main (taille 8 )
elle est vraiment tres confortable, les boutons M1 et M2 sont bien plus facile accder que l’ancienne version, l’ergonomie est vraiment fun la manette ce cale super bien entre les mains
manette super ractive on sens la diffrence, les triggers enclench sont bien plus court que sur une lite
la prise en main du logiciel et comme nous habitue razer est super simple
la touche share est inclus ainsi que le bouton pour ajuster le volume du tchat casque etc
je trouve les boutons otpion xbox mal situ, trop haut
mon grand regret sur cette manette c’est de ne pas pouvoir programmer 2 actions diffrente sur une mme touche
l’heure ou une grande partie des joueurs joue strike pack et ou clavier souris et donc maccro, il aurait t bon de pouvoir faire la mme, surtout pur 120 euro!

Great overall controller. Had for about 5 months now. Played on for everyday usually for around 3-7 hours during lockdown. I love the larger diameter of the thumb sticks, the 4 buttons on the right are great and feel very mechanical. The triggers feel very nice and reactive. The back paddles also feel great. The razer synapse app allows you to remap any buttons to whichever button or paddle you like. Only thing I would say is it is quite different to a normal Xbox one controller and the grip on the back has worn down quite a lot so it feels slightly slippy now. Other than that would 100% recommend.

Controller ist sehr wertig und passt auch gut in etwas grere Hnde. Die Tasten auf der Rckseite sind ebenso perfekt angebracht, sodass die Finger immer gut `draufliegen’.

I really like this controller. It feels good in general, the paddles don’t get in the way, and the sticks and face buttons feel great, and the extra bumpers are surprisingly useful.
But, the dpad is a little sunken. It’s more for item selection then use as a dpad. It’s fine, but not great. The normal bumpers feel pretty cheap. The triggers get a bit loose after a while but nothing terrible.
But the build quality is an issue. My left bumper broke completely after about 10 months. In my replacement, the A button started missing inputs after about 11 months. Fortunately Amazon issued a free next day replacement both times along with a free return shipping label for the old ones.
I think it’s a good controller, but for the price (I paid 77) I’d expect much better build quality. Just don’t go direct to Razer for returns, contact Amazon instead, as Razer will mess you around for weeks.

Man I can’t count the amount of Xbox controllers I have been through. Stick drift, messed up buttons and triggers that sound like door hinges that desperately need oil. I was looking for something more durable and hardy… this controller is what you are looking for if your in the same boat. The cable is long and this is tough as nails, the rgb is a bit overkill for me but that’s just my opinion and I’m sure for some people it’s a must have. 5 stars hands down.

Best xbox one controller you can buy. The build quality is excellent. The extra buttons are positioned well, i personally use the buttons on the front as l1 and r1 they are much easier to reach. Wired is very important because as soon as the battery of wireless controller’s loses charge there is more delay. Also wireless Bluetooth signals can get interference from WiFi signals and button presses can be lost.

Wurde gleich erkannt, Treiber funktioniert.
Bei mir knarzt nichts und er ist hochwertig verarbeitet.
Das einzige was ich bisschen komisch finde ist das man zwar 4 Tasten mehr hat aber da keine Kombinationen drauf legen kann z.B. LB + RB frs blocken oder so. Man kann nur einzelnen Funktionen drauf legen z.B. ein zweites B oder sowas.
Ich wrde den Controller aber wieder kaufen.
Dieser Controller ist mit der Beste, den ich ausprobiert hab. Rutschfeste Griffe, ergonomisch super, Tasten funktionieren perfekt.
Zwei kleine Minuspunkte gibt’s dennoch: Die Tasten ,,klackern” beim Bettigen etwas lauter als bei Standardcontrollern, fllt aber beim Zocken kaum auf.
Und die Gummigriffe fr die Handflchen auen lsen sich teilweise. Kann man aber ganz leicht wieder dran machen.
Bon, j’en avais marre de voir mes manettes xbox mourir l’une aprs l’autre aprs X temps d’utilisation, j’ai bien du en puiser une dizaine (oui, je suis un gros joueur) donc selon mon calcul mettre un gros billet supplmentaire va tre rentable la longue. L’ayant reu il y a une semaine au moment d’crire ces lignes je ne peux rien en dire de dfinitif, je reviendrai donc faire un point l dessus dans quelques mois.
Sur ce sujet je peux juste en dire que la manette a l’air solide, le poid est agrable (a peut -tre un biais de ma part mais d’exprience c’est un gage de qualit) et le cable a l’air purement et simplement increvable.
Si vous tes comme moi habitu aux manettes xbox a va vous faire un choc: la sensation des touches et des gachettes est TRES diffrente de ce qu’on connait surtout les gachette RT/LT: le ressort est beaucoup, beaucoup plus timide. a doit tre une question d’habitude mais c’est aussi une source de crainte: est-ce que a ne va pas s’abimer plus rapidement ? Et bah j’en sais rien.
Pour l’instant je suis dans l’ensemble satisfait.
Ein nices Gamepad, mit dem man bei vielen Spielen, ein einiges Profil fr ein Steuerungsschema erstellen kann. Was wirklich praktisch ist und einen viel bessere reaktionsmglichkeiten gibt. Trotzdem bitte das nchste Mal in einem Karton mitsenden.

Dopo 2 anni di utilizzo ho notato che il limitatore di escursione del grilletto destro ha ceduto quasi completamente, e ora il grilletto arriva comunque quasi a fine corsa.
Un ottimo pad di ottimo livello. Bisogna solo prenderci un po’ la mano perch ha una forma leggermente diversa rispetto a quelli tradizionali. Rispetto ad altri pad “avanzati”che ho utilizzato mi sembra molto pi solido, i tasti addizionali sono molto pi comodi da usare e vengono sfruttati tutti. Ottimi anche i dettagli, da non dare per scontati i grip in gomma e i trigger stop, che sono inclusi, quando altre marche te li fanno pagare e non poco. gi un mese che lo utilizzo e ne sono molto contento. Molto carina la personalizzazione delle luci del frontalino tramite applicazione sull’xbox. Consigliato.
Amazing controller only problem with it is that a, b y and x buttons are all clicky and aren’t the best for gaming but other than that a fantastic controlle
Christmas present. So far so good. Enjoying the re-map able aspect, good grip and feel to the controller. Doesn’t feel too plasticy, as I have been told. Quite pleased with it.
Firstly excellent delivery turnaround as usual with prime. Only slight issue is the box was as per first picture, no additional packaging at all (if a gift etc. may of been an issue).
The controller is ideal for FPS as all buttons work exactly as they should with a mouse like click. Top button lock outs are ideal. Rear paddles are in a slightly un-natural place, but have adjusted to this in time. RGB options good as expect from razor.
Overall very good & better than the elite controller imo. Only drawback is not wireless & the price is on high side as good & durable as the controller feels.
Si, el producto es algo mas caro que la media, pero… es que lo vale, es realmente impresionante, un gran mando, por ahora me ha convencido, se nota bien hecho, duradero, buenos materiales y la respuesta de los stick es simplemente… perfecta, no son ni blanduchos ni rigidos, tacto muy agradable, ligero y muy cmodo. Me esperaba un mando bueno, pero ha superado mis expectativas, es realmente bueno. Muy contento con la compra, vale cada euro que cuesta.
Very sensitive controller feels quite robust. Used as a pc game pad. Better then original xbox by far.
Die Tasten sind nicht frei belegbar! Man kann nur Tasten des Gamepads (X,Y,A…..) ein zweites mal belegen. Die Produktbeschreibung ist zumindest irrefhrend!
Allerdings ist die Hardware wirklich gut. Knpfe und Sticks reagieren sehr przise.
Wer damit klar kommt nur Gamepad Buttons auf dem Gamepad zu verwenden sollte hier richtig sein!
After owning two razer wild cats and moving on to this new wolverine edition. What a pleasant surprise, right off the bat the controller had a good feel the rubber grips on the back are great and the extra paddles on the back are also well positioned. The razer app on the Xbox is super easy to use, lots of customisable options. The 10ft braided cable is plenty of length for couch gamers like my self. Overall really happy with the upgrade.

I had to down load an app to configure it a little bit, but that was easy to do with the instructions provided. i have been using this controller for a few months now and have had no problem with it at all!

Une manette comme on les aimes. Ractive, prcise. Rien redire. La manette est programmable des touches aux couleurs chroma. La sensibilit des gchettes et joystick est aussi rglable. Pour 4 mois d’utilisation elle n’a toujours pas bouge. Je recommande.
Lacks a bit accuracy on axis on analogue joysticks if used in racing games. Huge plus for programmable paddles and buttons as well for quick trigger mode switch which is quite useful whenever you need instant response. Writing review after use of it for almost 6 months despite the letters and all painted stuff is already gone worn off from buttons durability is excellent plus. Used in space SIM flight and in racing games there is almost no downsides besides a bit high price while I got it and no axis sensitivity allowed by Forza but that is not necessarily fault of gamepad.
This Razer controller is by far the best controller you can buy for the Xbox One.
Its the perfect weight and size and all the extra buttons are great and easy to use if you wanna go more try-hard.
If you are debating weather this is worth the higher price then consider the fact that you can’t even buy two home branded controllers for the same price and this controller is built to last ten times longer (and it probably will).
The only downside i can think of with this controller is that it is not compatible with the Xbox chat pad (a keyboard that fits onto the bottom of Xbox controllers) because it doesnt have that strange slot at the bottom. The upside that i realised howether is that i now have a controller with a really good D-pad that actually works so typing out messages the old fashioned Xbox way is easy enough.

I purchased the tournament addition. I previously owned the elite controller. I prefer the razer. The buttons on the back are well placed and yet allow you to grip the controller without them being in the way. I was worried that the usb cord would be easy to damage if you drop the controller, but it’s really well designed so that the end of the usb enters into the controller slightly to protect it. The buttons felt a little weird at first because they aren’t as clicky as a normal controller, but easy to get used to. The hair triggers are nice.
Overall a really great controller and perfect for fps games.

Definitely an upgrade to your usual controller, my hands are too big to keep from unwillingly pressing the back paddles so i just disabled them.

hat mechanische Tasten , ich bin voll zufrieden damit der Preis ist meiner Meinung nach aber etwas zu hoch.

Had to give this a 4 star mainly due to everything working but for a weird reason the microphone quality is very poor I tried numerous headsets and all of them fairly pic have any microphone volume with this controller but when I use a normal controller the microphone quality is much better.
Comfortable, better than the xbox elite controller in my opinion due to the positioning of the extra button. Also lots of customizations and being able to save presets for multiple games is awesome and reliable and smooth. Only thing was the menu/power button for the controller sticks slightly when held down to reset console etc. This was after about 2 months of use and no spills or drops.

Der Razer Wolverine Tournament Gaming Controller tut was er soll, liegt sehr gut in der Hand und spricht sehr przise an. Mit Abstand der beste Controller den ich je in der Hand hielt. Dank den belegbaren Tasten bleiben meine Daumen auf den Joysticks was Zeit spart und eine menge Spa macht. Alles was ich mir zu diesem Controller noch wnschen wrde wre eine integrierte Headset-Steuerung oder einfach nur einen Knopf um das Mikrofon stumm zu schalten. Trotzdem volle Punktzahl von jemandem der sich sonst nicht mal die Zeit nimmt eine Bewertung zu schreiben.
Been a fan of the razer look for a while (love the rgb) and I’ve used the peripherals in the past on my PC and still do. If you want something for style and functionality I’d recommend it.
The controller is great once you’ve adjusted to it, although I find the paddles underneath can get in the way. The main let down is the cable. You could spend 10 minutes carefully bending and untangling it only for it all to be undone in 10 seconds.

Love the product only issue was the a and x started to wear off. I spoke to Amazon who were happy to refund me . They couldn’t replace it as they had none in stock so I decided to keep it.. it’s just so nice to use

This for me is the best xbox controller I have been working on yes it has a cord connection but that doesn’t bother me could not get on the extra buttons underneath as I kept catching did like the feel of the Ellie but this is just the same had no problems with this one
First one failed as the right lock button would stay on continually, second one working ok swapped over promptly by Amazo
Does everything, can be configured via the software, feels really nice to hold.
The only small downside is that the A, B, X, Y button feel a bit ‘spongy’ compared to the original Xbox 360 and One controllers.
Bought for my 11 year old son for Christmas. I thought the price was horrendous for a controller (typical mom reaction) but it does look good, so much so, that my 20 year old nephew bought one immediately after trying my sons on Christmas Day!
The tournament edition controller is a good solid piece of tech.
It’s surprisingly light which takes some getting used to. Thumb sticks are not easily replaced and the D Pad is built in to the controller and personally I don’t like that at all.
If the elite controller was more durable and easily fixed I’d go back.
Couldn’t make my mind up between this and the x box elite controller but in the end plumped for this one I know it’s on a cable but it’s good enough to be worth it.

Ce qui m’a pouss remplacer ma manette sont effectivement les 4 boutons supplmentaires. Ils sont bien placs et ceux de dessous sont facilement accessibles (enfin pour moi) mme si j’ai eu un peu de mal trouver le meilleur moyen pour les utiliser (spoiler alert: avec les auriculaires le plus vers l’arrire de la manette). Ils sont configurs par dfaut en X, Y pour ceux de l’avant prs des gchettes et en A, B pour les palettes l’arrire mais peuvent tre remapps. Et c’est un peu mon premier reproche. Il y a malgr tout un certain nombre de manettes “premium” avec des caractristiques et des prix similaires ceux de la Wolverine. Ayant dj un clavier de la marque je pensais pouvoir me dispenser de l’installation d’un nouveau logiciel pour pouvoir configurer la manette et qu’elle serait intgre Razer Synapse 3 me permettant, par exemple, de changer la configuration de la manette en fonction du jeu en cours. Et bien non c’est rat car il faut installer “Razer Synapse For Xbox” partir du Windows Store pour pouvoir faire la configuration. Et on est trs en dessous de ce que le vrai Razer Sympase propose.
The controller has now had many of its main buttons malfunction and stop working, this is very alarming and bad for my experience with razor, I will need to buy a new controller now!
Awesome controller. Very different feeling than standard XB controllers. Great for shooters / Racing. Not Great for Fighting games such as SF/KI as D-pad is not unidirectional.

Pad molto comodo, i tasti aggiuntivi sono posizionati in modo giusto e comodi da premere, sono sensibili al punto giusto. Le uniche pecche che ho trovato sono i tasti (A B X Y) che li trovo un tantino duri da premere e le frecce direzionali un po’ scomode.

in terms of value for money this cant be beaten, the elite controller breaks all the time and scuff controllers are overpriced and preform the same functions, the razers only downfall (which personally doesn’t bother me) is that its a wired controller, but in terms over usability its very simple and a very durable piece of kit. 100% reccomend

The extra buttons are amazing and all really easy to use in great positions.
Being able to program a button to slow down your analog stick is amazing feature that evry controller shoud have.
On windows to program the controller you get the app from the windows store. If you follow instructions in box it will link you to razer website and software which isn’t compatible. So razer if you read this stop giving people the wrong download link.
Only thing I don’t like is it’s a little bigger than the wildcat. Would prefer if they had kept it wildcat size as it’s much easier to wrap hands around. Now it’s pretty much xbox one controller size.
Salvo porque personalmente prefera que los 4 botones de las 4 letras se iluminasen cada uno en su color como en el Sabertooth, es un mando estupendo. Fcil de coger, perfecto de manejar y con buena precisin, y para los shooters se agradece que se pueda cambiar la distancia de recorrido de los gatillos traseros.

This is a semi-pro gamer controller for XBOX that also works on the PC (I use mine with Steam). Unfortunately some of the functionality is lost on the PC, but most things work great still.
The grip is comfortable even on long plays, and the extra buttons are easy to reach but not in a position where you’ll keep hitting them by accident. The pro-mode toggles allow the triggers to be activated with half the travel time, giving you a split second faster response time. It’s also nice that this can be toggled separately for left and right triggers, giving you options as you see fit.
Disappointed that there is no wireless option, for this price I would have expected it. Built in wireless would give you freedom of moment, while optional cable connection would give you lower latency when you need it.
Is it worth the cost? If you are a pro XBOX gamer, then possibly yes. If you are a PC gamer or non-pro, there are other options which will fit your needs better for half the price!
I bought this controller as an upgrade from the original Xbox One Wireless Controller. The controller worked directly out of the box as soon as it was plugged in via USB. To map the buttons you do need to download the Razer Synapse app to your Xbox but that’s not an issue, a very quick download and no setup required, just launch the app, it will detect the type of controller that is plugged in and here you can change and remap all of the buttons, the vibration and the lighting effects. In comparison to the original XB1 controller I found that this had a much more premium feel and was much more comfortable to hold for prolonged periods of gaming. A more ergonomic designs means you are more in control of the thumbsticks which is great for extra accuracy on first person shooters. The A,B,X,Y buttons require slightly more pressure than the original controller but give a satisfying tactile click when pressed and feel premium. The adjustable triggers are brilliant if you want to increase your reaction times as the triggers travel can be shortened. I have mapped the extra top buttons on mine to LB and RB and find they are in a much more comfortable position and you can press them whilst keeping the tips of your fingers still on the LT RT trigger buttons.
A fantastic controller and a worthwhile upgrade. I prefer that this is wireless as you don’t need to worry about charging and you have decreased latency over wireless.
The easy-break cable has come in use a few times to save my console, I have a dog that likes to wander across the front of the TV!
Would definitely recommend adding this to your gaming experience. Great controller. Razer proving they are the kings of gaming peripherals, again!
Es ist tadellos verarbeitet zeigt keinerlei schwchen. Das Kabel ist im Gegensatz zum Xeox lnger. Dieses RGB bling bling ist ganz nett, ist man ja von Razer gewohnt.
Also wer mehr Spass und Frust freier spielen mchte sollte mehr investieren. Ich bin jedenfalls froh es gemacht zu haben, wenn auch im 2. Anlauf.
So mal schauen wie haltbar es ist.
I play on the Xbox one loads and the 360 but the games I play are such that precision head shots played on line as part of a team/multiplayer or where lag isn’t a problem making me throw my gaming remote across the room doesn’t make me wish for the most expensive remote on the planet….it doesn’t even encourage me to look for an alternative. My son though he’s always felt that expos have short changed the gamer where the remote is concerned.
My son is a gamer. He plays games with such precision and speed that the unwired remote which comes with the Xbox One is just “too slow”. I don’t understand, and I don’t if I’m honest……Jewel Quest or mini Golf or Diablo don’t need that. His remote lags. He loses games sometimes he feels he shouldn’t and moans about this. When this arrived on my Vine list it was a no brainier.
He is over the moon to be honest. This remote has made his gaming experience so much better, the precision amazing and the speed lag when going for that head shot is just not there compared to what he has been using.
It’s wired so be aware of this but to be honest it phases him not a jot, It’s confortable to use and it also plays on his laptop not just his Xbox one. It’s beautifully made and balanced, quality through and through.
Games where he has laboured with his battery enabled remote have been a doddle, massive multiplayer battles have been made easier by the fact that this is his remote to use. He wouldn’t in his words be without it.
If you a seasoned gamer looking for comfort precision and speed this is one to look at. If like me your a plodder who enjoys gaming not so much online multi player please please don’t waste your money.

There is nothing to complain about apparently worth every penny and some. Highly recommended.
OK, I love this controller. Its adaptable to the console and to the pc allowing you to have an item that will allow you to up your game level on both systems. its solid, well made and whilst it is a pricey item, were you to look at getting an ordinary controller for one, you’d be paying the same price when you bought the second.
add to this extra presets so that you can fine tune your style such as a shorter pull on the triggers for example or being able to programme the buttons to how you like all round makes this a great item. The only draw back is that its on a wire but at the end of the day its long enough to accomodate gamers and you’ll never have that damn battery problem that hits at so many of the wrong times.
Undoubtedly a nice hefty controller, but I’m having a difficult time reconciling the price for the Tournament edition, when you don’t get as many of the physical customisation options that you do with the not THAT much more expensive Ultimate edition.
I used this with PC, and something which either wasn’t in the instructions, or which wasn’t immediately obvious, is that you unlock a lot more customisation options once you download the Razer Synapse software from the Windows Store.
The Razer software lets you rebind the four extra buttons, so that for instance you could bind M3 (left hand paddle), which is normally the “A” button, to be the “focus” button. So you press M3 and focus mode is engaged which roughly halves sensitivity – handy if you’re aiming for headshot or whatever. You can set up different profiles for different games even.
Thank goodness you can also use the Razer Synapse software to turn off (or change) the lighting effects.
There are physical switches to limit the draw on the triggers and these can be set individually. Useful if the trigger is being used as an actual “trigger” for a weapon, less useful if it’s being used as a throttle control.
I soon found myself becoming very comfortable with it, but it’ll be a while before the extra buttons are second nature. As I said, I do question the price. If you’re a bad gamer this isn’t really going to help and may even complicate matters, but if you’re involved in competitive play it may well give you an edge.
Let’s be honest, the dealbreaker for this expensive but excellent controller will, for many people, be that it isn’t a wireless controller; it connects via a USB cable. The big fly in the ointment for Razer is that for EXACTLY the same price you can buy the equally good Microsoft Elite Wireless controller. Which as the name suggests, is (drumroll) wireless.
Don’t get me wrong, I really like this controller… but I’d like it even more if it was wireless.
This is a quality controller (though for 100+ it ought to be!). It works brilliantly and is essentially a souped up version of the X-Box One controller will extra buttons secreted all over it. You can plug and play with an X-Box though, as has been mentioned elsewhere, a wireless option would be nice and wired feels so old school now.
The controller has a good weight to it and rubberised grips to reduce any chance of slippage. The buttons all give a reassuring click when pressed and the travel on the sticks is spot on. There are even slider switches which will alter the travel on the triggers allowing for more hair-trigger action should you wish.
The little light show that runs around the top is very attractive and adds a bit of character.
Set up on a PC is easy, just attach it to the USB (lead supplied) and it’ll install the drivers and then you can install configuration software via the supplied web address.
This is a soundly constructed and very well designed controller that only loses a star for being, in my opinion. somewhat ludicrously priced (although the more hardcore gamers may well disagree).
This is a very fancy controller very similar in look and feel to the Xbox one controller- it’s also just as expensive. I like the light on the middle which is very much this brands style. The programmable buttons are straight forward to set and the controller feels good, sturdy and weighty in the hand. It’s a shame it is a wired controller though as I think that does make the price a bit unreasonable especially when you can get the Xbox version wireless!
Woverine is a nicely made controller from Razer. You can feel the quality. It’s design is tweaked slightly. It is wired rather than wireless – so no batteries. It has a headphone socket with no external controls. There are coloured lights which look cool as they cycle through the colours. There are four extra button which are nicely positioned and programmable.
In use it feels fine. Feels just like the Xbox One controller in say Forza 7. Not sure I’d pay such money for a few buttons and some coloured lights. Still it does look cool.
This is a nicely packaged controller that would be an ideal gift for the serious gamer. It looks great and works very well.
Quality wise I have no grumbles. It looks to be of a very nice standard of construction and plays that way too. You have customisable buttons and LEDs (very cool!) and so there’s the solid ability to set things as you personally prefer. You can fiddle with the DPI no problem and that helps sharpen things in your sights. Handling is excellent and you do feel in control.
I suppose if I have to grumble then my one complaint is that this is wired. At the price, these days, it needed to be wireless. But that’s just my opinion and YMMV. The cable is a decent length and so I guess that’s some compensation.
Overall, I really enjoyed using this controller and it is a step up for sure over all those cheap and cheerful efforts available for significantly less. This is definitely at the upper end and if it’s what you want then I doubt you’ll regret the outlay.
This controller looks and feels much like a standard controller but it does include rubber grips. Two switches on the rear of the controller reduce the movement of the triggers and this could be useful in frantic, rapid-fire gaming sessions. Considering its build quality and how the buttons and triggers feel, this controller is a suitable alternative to the Elite controller. The Ultimate edition of this controller comes with a carrying case and has more features enabling precision targeting which this Tournament edition does not.
The biggest problem with this controller, and at this price should have been avoided, is the fact that this is a wired controller. This controller must be connected at all times. For those gamers who walk around their rooms with a controller in hand this is a problem. The Ultimate edition has the same problem and even with the extra features it is difficult to recommend over a high-end wireless controller.
A well featured wired controller with a decent range of customisation and my 14 year old tester especially liked the hair trigger feature … he did disappear off for 4 hours, so it did get a comprehensive test … although initial response was ‘yeah … good’ … which roughly translated to … I really like it!
It feels well made and is well laid out … my tester in knocking on 6 foot tall and found it comfortable to use … smaller hands may not. This is the Tournament Edition … the Ultimate is 30 more, and may be worth the extra few quid.
