The knives are exactly what I was hoping they would be. Nice weight and balanced. I would recommend them.
these knives. The description said that they were dishwasher safe but the all rusted within the second wash. THESE ITEMS ARE NOT DISHWASHER SAFE! The rust was easily removed with a little lemon juice, time and elbow grease. Even after this the knives are still super sharp. they cut through thick bacon like it wasn’t there. I highly recommend this product which I bought at the reduced price of 86, but please don’t put them in the dishwasher.

These Knives are super sharp, bought these as a present for my dads 50th, he loves cooking but never had a reason to justify spending a decent amount of money on a set of knives, (basically didn’t know what he was missing)

First thing first, you may think that 80 is a lot, but i’m all about value, and this set is amazing value! I have seen the sharpening steel alone advertised at 30! So at full price this set is probably worth 250-300!

Amazing! the larger knives would be worth up to 30 each alone!
The only thing you could say the set is missing is a Santuko and shears, but you can live without those for 80!
The knives are all excellently made and lovely to handle.
They are British made and on top of that all have a 30 year warranty!!
In summary, If you are looking for new knives for yourself or as a gift at less than 100 you really cannot fault this set!
Got as present for sons 40th birthday but could not resist testing one for sharpness. Wow, sliced through a piece of paper like a razor blade !. Well Worth the price. Recommend to anyone who wants a set of chef quality blades.

Excellent knife set and extremely sharp, the best I have owned.
The knives again are good quality and were very sharp out of the box, the handles fit nicely around the metal base of the blade with no noticeable edges showing.

I bought these knives as a Christmas present for my daughter and her fiance because they do quite a lot of cooking and were having trouble finding knives that didn’t go blunt after a short period of time. These knives are good quality and well made. My daughter and future son-in-law are very pleased with them and said they are really sharp. I know it’s early days yet, but my daughter said they are much sharper than any of the new knives they’ve bought in the past.

These are brilliant knives and the block is also very stylish. I would recommend these to anyone. No other knives come close to this standard.
I have always wanted “A decent set” of kitchen knives and when I saw these on offer and having read the reviews I decided to go for them. They arrived on time & very well packaged. The first thing I noticed was how well balanced they are in the hand, the storage block is also well made with a perfect angle for getting the knives in/out so sits well back on the counter under a cupboard and getting whichever knife i want is easy unlike my last block. The knives are all razor sharp and the steel feels like it will hold a good edge for some time, they are also very well made and finished. The bread knife cuts the freshest of bread with absolute ease and the meat knife trimmed up some stewing steak like it was made of jelly yesterday. I have seen some reviews moan about rust spots, all I can say on that is “I thought everyone knew you don’t put chefs knives in a dishwasher” Because they are of such decent quality steel they don’t “Hang on” to dirt anyway so a quick wipe and dry/polish only takes seconds anyway…..I am not a trained chef but I do love cooking and these make all the prep so much easier – I love them. Thanks Mum (I used her Xmas present cash to buy them). I suspect I will never have to buy another set and they will be handed down to my Son.

Excellent service – arrived in two days. I ordered these knives as I wanted a quality product that would last. The quality is excellent and you can tell straight away that the steel used is much better than a lot of the other knives on the market. They look and feel like they will last and they cut easily through meat, veg and bread. I have had the knives approximately three weeks and they are very good, sharp and comfortable in your hand (well balanced).
They can be washed in the dishwasher, but the manufacturer does advise not to use a dishwasher (I have followed their advise).
I have used youtube for advise on keeping these knives sharp, which is helpful.
Overall these knives are fantastic value for money, at this moment I have no complaints.
On the box the knives are packaged in, it states that they are guaranteed for 30 years.
I am now storing these knives on a Stellar premium magnetic knife rack (45cm), the magnet is strong enough to hold all the knives and you do not need to use too much force to pull the knives off.
I would recommend these knives to anyone that are looking to replace their old ones.

Sabatier knives are very expensive so this little set designed and suitable for the domestic kitchen represents good value.

I needed a new set of knives and had already known of Richardson Sheffield which were my current set albeit a smaller set. I had no hesitation in purchasing the new set based on its quality, name and price. It has a professional look about it too so doesn’t look out of place either. The product arrived on time, was very well packaged and not a mark or blemish in sight. I used them straight away and have not been disappointed. I also purchased the associating knife sharpener too so Im hoping these will stay in great condition for a long time to come. I did wonder if these were factory seconds given the reduced price but they are not so well worth the purchase.
Very pleased with my purchase these good quality knives are the best I have seen in the preston and southport area. after hunting all the usual shops in both areas there is nothing to match the quality we tried all the major department stores , all copies and half opened boxes. arrived promptly well packaged will always wash the knives by hand and individually,as this is the only way to treat a knife.

Good quality product, sharp knives made well. Block could be better, knives could fit better into the slots and also there is a slight rock when the block sits on the work top.
Bought these for a new home. Wanted good cooking knives but didn’t want to spend too much. These knives are incredible and I am yet to find something these can’t cut through with ease. They feel solid and look great.

I had been on the hunt for a good set of knives,and after seeing this set here, I decided to give them a try, I have to say that these knives exceeded my expectations.They are just the right weight and the sharpness is incredible.you have to be careful not to cut yourself,There’s a knife for every function, even a boning knife, which is usually lacking in most other sets. I highly recommend this set to all that love to cook.
A little lighter than I used to but they seem like very good knives. Time will tell if they hold their edge but currently they are very good
Initially they felt a little strange, as I was used to the weight and hold of my 10 year old Sabatier set. I have to say that I still would have preferred them to have a little more weight to them, but now that I have got used to them, I learnt to love them. They are sharp and great for all kitchen duties. Would have been 5 stars if they had a little more weight.

I saw what I thought was a bargain knife block in a local store but thought I would look online first. Found this block and couldn’t believe what it provided. It has lived up expectations and more. Have yet to use the boning knife but all the others are sharp as razors and perform their functions really well. I haven’t put them in the dishwasher as they are so easy to wipe clean.
