Ich habe die Box nun seit einem Jahr in meinem BMW F30 2012 mit “CIC” verbaut.
Einbau erfolgte auf ca 1,5 Stunden (Informative Anleitung, keinerlei probleme)
Wireless Carplay sowie Wireless Android Auto funktionieren ohne Probleme.
Verbindung erfolgt innerhalb von sekunden nach dem stsrt des Autos. Nach dem Einrichten startet dich dann auch spfort Carplay etc. und bei mir Spotify ohne probleme.
Siri sowie Google Assistent reagieren zuverlssig auf Fragen, Wegbeschreibungen und Spotify Befehle.
Musik auf Spotify ist ca. 0,5-1 Sekunde verzgert(Ich drcke Pause und es luft kurz nach), das strt aber berhaupt nicht.
Anrufe funktionieren eigentlich immohne probleme,
dennoch habe ich ab und zu das problem das ich diese nicht immer mit den Tasten annehmen kann, nur ber sprachbefehl.(Dtrt mich aber auch kaum)
Nach dem anruf sind in 5% der Flle die Bluetooth verbindung zum Ton getrennt,
ich muss mich dann neu mit dem Wlan und dem Bluetooth von dem Gert verbinden(geht auf 5 sekunden) dies strt mich ein wenig.
Dennoch fr diesen Preis Absolut Top!
Jede App funktioniert ohne probleme, da gennug ram vorhanden ist.
Es startet immer zuverlssig und laggt kein bisschen.
Ich wrde es wieder kaufen falls mein KFZ kein Carplay/Androidauto von Werk untersttzt.

wegen den paar bugs, die aber bei weitem nicht ausschlaggebend auf die Erfahrung des Gertes sind.
Installed this device in my 2016 F34 with H/K sound.
I went over to youtube and followed the Bimmertech guide for MMI. Its a pretty straight forward DIY and you dont need to be super handy if you take your time.
The audio cable need to be routed to the audio in port to get the youtube sound working. I dont want any aftermarket cables visible. I found it easy to remove the center console to get the place you need to get the cable to the armrest area. They dont cover this in the guides but i also routed the USB cable to the armrest. This gave me two USB ports to be able to charge two phones from this area. I simply removed the 3.5 line in port, drilled a larger hole and placed the new USB port instead. To get this done i needed to solder to get a longer USB cable.
The 3.5 plug i left plugged in underneath.
Its noticable that the sound quality is low when you play youtube(3.5 line in). But in carplay/android auto mode, for what i can tell, i cant hear any difference from the original bluetooth or USB sound quality.
Im very happy with this install and it was worth both the job and the money spent.
Comincio subito dall’installazione, che io ho eseguito in autonomia. In s non molto complessa per bisogna avere molta dimestichezza con gli strumenti per smontare la plancia. Nel mio caso, su una BMW serie 2, ho dovuto faticare non poco e ho installato il prodotto sotto il cassetto porta oggetti perch altrove non vi era spazio. Per quanto riguarda il funzionamento invece finora impeccabile. Si collega immediatamente al telefono (io utilizzo un iPhone 14) e rende subito disponibile il sistema CarPlay. Unica pecca, ma inevitabile che funzioni cos, quella che bisogna impostare quale fonte audio l’uscita Aux, io ho reso pi comodo il tutto impostando un tasto rapido per la selezione di tale ingresso audio. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, che comunque non so se addebitabile al prodotto oppure alla macchina, che per sentire bene bisogna alzare veramente tanto il volume, tanto vero che se si cambia fonte audio senza prima averlo abbassato ci si spaventa. Aggiorner la recensione se dovesse risultare necessario. Spero di essere stato utile.
Hay tambin algo que no encuentro explicacin, ya que se conecta el cable de fibra ptica para el audio pero hay que finalmente conectar el audio por jack con la consiguiente prdida de calidad (si eres muy purista).
Para ms inri, al pasar los cables tuvimos que quitar la tapa lateral que tiene el dispositivo del airbag del acompaante y desconectando el cable GRAVE ERROR 2 semanas con error de airbag cada 20 segundos, que fue solucionado por 120 en la bmw no desconectes el cable del airbag!!
En cuanto al funcionamiento bien, a veces le cuesta conectar si previamente se haba conectado otro telfono con el Apple CarPlay, pero el uso es bueno y va fluido (en eso contento, ya que actualiza un poco el coche). Adems siempre se puede volver al sistema original del coche.
En YouTube hay un tutorial de un chico chino que lo explica fantstico (mucho mejor que las instrucciones)
En cuanto a las otras funciones fuera del Apple CarPlay, no he podido probarlas (la opcin de YouTube no termino de poder configurarla) y estamos esperando a que llegue una cmara para la marcha atrs a ver qu tal.
Everything works as described, easy to install was literally plug in and play.
It has disconnected a few times while driving though, not sure why but had happened maybe 5 times in the last 2 months, only time will tell if this is a common thing
Funciona perfectamente.hay que tomrselo con calma en el desmontaje y recableado, pero el resultado es correcto y el equipo funciona perfectamente con iphone. Cuesta un poquito vincularlo bien con Carplay, pero funciona. Tambin le aad una cmara trasera de Aliexpress, que tambin funciona bien. As que no se puede pedir ms
The first unit I received did have a problem but the product support in China did there best to sort it. Emails were answered in less that 24 hours so no complaints there. Ultimately the duff unit was returned to Amazon and a new one purchased.
This one is working flawlessly and I’m very pleased with it. A couple of installation comments that may be useful.
The space under the head unit is not really big enough to accommodate the Carplay. The easiest place to put it is to the side of the glove box. There are videos on line to tell you how to do this. A bit of a fiddle to gain access and takes about an hour first time. The second time was half that.
It also gives the bonus of mounting the aerial away from any metal and to thread the spare USB into the glove box.
I would also recommend removing the last 15cm of braiding from the BMW harness to the main plug as the plugs can then drop down a bit making replacing of the head unit much easier.
Allocate one of your car radio pre-sets to to the Aux input as it is then quick and super easy to get the phone music and Waze coming from your speakers
Conclusions – After sales if needed is good. The unit works flawlessly.
The install was fairly straightforward however, due to the size of my head unit there wasn’t any space under or above it to store the unit outlined in the instructions, I ended up having to improvise and install the unit above the glovebox.
Setting up CarPlay with my iPhone wirelessly did take a little while to start but it works seamlessly once connected.
Only used this for a couple of days so lets see if I discover any issues in the future, works with the steering wheel controls

Prsence d’un cble pour le passage automatique de la camra de recul (parkvision), vite de devoir faire des branchements douteux sur le phare de recul. (trs utile)
Notice complte, mais suivre les diffrents tutos de montage de Bimmer tech (you tube) par exemple, bien mieux expliqu en dtail par rapport celles proposes par roadtop.
Totalement comptable dans la jungle des CIC/NBT, je recommande.
It took some time to get installed. First forgot to install the microphone and later i noticed my vehicle information was gone from the menu. After contacting support it seemed i needed to reroute the optical cable. The support is really fast once you know how to reach them. Excellent support with spot on troubleshooting. With the modern Carplay installed and integrated with the exisiting screen, no need for me to buy a new car now 😉
J’ai placer le botier sous la bote gant et fait passer le cble micro sous le volant remonter le long de la jointure ct conducteur. Tout fonctionne depuis 1 mois c’est parfait.
Facile installer aucun bug prix super grce a cet appareil la voiture dispose d’options trs utiles
Installation was straight forward as i had already done similar with my 1 series. I forgot to move over the fibre cable and when i contacted the seller they knew straight away what was wrong and pointed me in the right direction. Works fine with no issues so far so good!

J’ai pris ce botier pour ma bmw f36 qui a eu un soucis avec le GPS.
Installation simple. Les prises se raccorde au systme de manire simple ce sont les mmes et le GPS du botier est autonome.
On a le choix entre le systme de base et celui fournit par le botier soit Android. Au top comme sur mes photos on peut partager l’cra
Montage war nach 30 Minuten abgeschlossen und das Gert funktioniert gut. Ich musste mein Handy einmal lschen aus dem Carplay und neu koppeln, sonst hatte ich bisher keine Probleme. Bei einem 1er BMW F20 VFL kann es trotzdem zu erhhten Temperaturen des Serienradios kommen, da die Box quasi direkt unter dem Radio hngt. Habe schon mehrere Male den Lfter nachlaufen hren vom Radio, bis jetzt ist dennoch nichts passiert. Des Weiteren stand in der Anleitung, dass man das Aux-Kabel einstecken muss bei meinem Modell, das brauchte ich aber nicht zu machen, damit Musikwiedergabe funktioniert.
Alles in allem knnte es etwas gnstiger sein, aber macht seinen Job solide.

2017 BMW 4 series
The quality of all the hardware is brilliant, way better than I expected. If anything it’s better quality than the BMW cables and fittings!
The over all installation is super simple. You’re just fitting this box in between the standard head unit and screen.
It works very similar to plugging a DVD player into your tv and switching the input. I was worried about spending so much money on an aftermarket upgrade but it honestly is worth it.
It worked instantly and I have a 2013 1 series and the standard Mic worked straight out the box. I didn’t even need to plug the aux in as stated in the instructions so the Audio plays in top quality.
I’ve had a few issues with the wireless CarPlay but that’s down to my phone and not the unit I believe.
If you’re thinking about buying this, do it!

I have had bolt-on plug and play devices before that have been questionable, this one was different. It works 99% of the time, the other 1% is when I press the wrong button.
Can be a bit tricky to fit (my car had a double din fitted, not the single as shown and therefore had zero extra space), so stuck it behind steering wheel with a couple of cable ties. Don’t let this fool you tho, it was still fully working within a couple of hours. Wired it into the centre tray with a USB car plug adapter (eBay them, cheap as chips) which allows me to plug different USB adapters in, and neatens up the overall look.
Alternative was spending a couple grand on a new car, overall
I drive a 2014 F30 – 3 series [no rear camera] Works absolutely perfect, is seamless! No quirks or weird glitches, works perfect and very simple to setup just make sure you read the instructions!

Ich bin angenehm berrascht das auch die Tasten am Lenkrad nun funktionieren .
Im Gegensatz zu meinem alten Gert luft dieses hier viel zuverlssiger und verbindet sich von alleine wenn ins Auto einsteigt .
Man kann es per Kabel nutzen oder per Bluetooth.
Ich nutze berwiegend Karten und YouTube zum Musik abspielen darber , hab aber natrlich auch schon telefoniert usw .
Nach Monaten testen kann ich sagen alles top soweit .
Das einzige Manko , selten aber passiert leider ab und an mal :
man startet das Auto und er verbindet sich irgendwie nicht , manchmal lsst sich das einfach lsen und manchmal nich
Habe es bestellt, weil ich in meinem BMW nur einen Aux Anschluss hatte.
Hatte reichlich Zweifel, da es bisher nur wenige Rezessionen gab. Auch der Preis war hoch.
Aber es hat sich absolut gelohnt zu investieren.
Normalerweise schreibe ich keine Rezessionen, doch dieses Produkt hat mich vollends berzeugt.
Zugegebenermaen war es schwierig einzubauen& hat ber 3h gedauert. Aber sobald es verbaut es lsst es sich erstens einfach bedienen und zweitens ist es eine absolute Aufwertung fr ein Auto, welches nicht mal ber Bluetooth Audio verfgt hat.
Zur Info ich habe es in meinen BMW 318 aus dem Jahr 2012 verbaut.
