Habe dieses Teil fr meinen Sohn gekauft. Von Anfang an toll. Man muss die Teile selbst heraustrennen und nach Anleitung zusammenstecken. Werden uns nun noch mehr Varianten bestellen.

Superate le mie aspettative credevo fosse un oggettino pi piccolo invece davvero carino ,facilissimo da montare ,per qualche ora smetti di pensare al caldo di qusta interminabile estate
preso come regalo, ha richiesto solo qualche ora per venire montato, ma stato davvero gradito. Il risultato finale davvero bellissimo. Unica cosa gli ingranaggi per selezionare giorno, mese ed anno sono un p dirette, ma nulla di grave.

I think this is a great idea. A puzzle that’s a bit different to others I’ve come across, and once it’s completed you get a working clock to hang on the wall as a reminder of your achievement.
The wood is all nicely cut, presumably by a laser cutter so it’s all very precise. The pieces pop out nicely when you’re ready to use them and just need a tiny bit of sanding with the included sandpaper to smooth the edges slightly.
The instructions are quite densely packed so you really need to pay attention as you follow along, but it all seems to be accurate (so far, I haven’t completed it yet).
The actual clock mechanism is just a standard quartz unit, which makes sense as it will keep accurate time. So what you’re really building is a fancy case that looks like a traditional clock but hides a modern plastic mechanism. However it still does a good job of simulating the “real thing” so I think it’s fair enough.
If I’m honest I’m not that keen on the look of the final clock. It’s a bit too fiddly for me. I ordered it mainly for the fun and challenge of building it.
I think it would make a good gift for someone who’s into puzzles and building things.

“Traditional” is a word that keeps coming to mind while assembling this clock. Even though the design itself is a curious mashup of traditional and modern, the wooden building kit feels like an old-fashioned approach to toy-making.
The kit itself is a little bit ‘busy’ with instructions that are relatively small and pack a lot to a page. It’s definitely a mistake to pop out all the pieces first, it does make them much harder to find! After a while you do end up getting into a bit of a Zen-like state and the initial “oh this is more complex than I expected” does transform into a more relaxing experience. The clock mechanism itself is pre-built, so what you’re building is the cosmetic shell of it, so there’s not much of an educational aspect to it if you’re building with kids.
The resulting clock gets fairly heavy, even though the wood used is generally thin and light, and aesthetically it will be a bit divisive. Like the instructions, I find it a little bit busy, I maybe prefer my clocks to be a bit more minimalist. But if you like the idea of an ornate-looking clock hanging in your hallway, then this has the potential to be a good talking point (or “very Instagrammable” as some might say), as you can be a little bit proud of having built it, and it’s definitely eye-catching.
For a little over fifty quid, the value is not bad either, when considering both the materials included and the entertainment time spent in putting it together.
If you like the challenge of assembling a fairly complex Lego set and want to try something a bit different, this is worth a go- the experience is similar in some ways, but with a different tactile experience and entirely different set of pieces and rules, it definitely makes an interesting change.

Everything you need to create this wooden clock. The very detailed instructions explain every step. Each piece is marked with a letter and number that correspond to the diagrams, it also comes with a clock mechanism but you will need a battery. Each of the pieces are held together on a board but easily clicked out when you need to use them. Only click them out when you need them as it makes them easier to find.. I have started to make the clock but I have very limited free time at want to enjoy the construction so I limit how much I build each session. There is a small emery board and a square of sandpaper if the pieces need rubbing smooth.
A beautifully made construction kit 59.99 at the time of this review is very pricey but so enjoyable to make. Ideal as a present.
I really enjoyed assembling this, took my time in sanding each piece and fitting firmly. Waxing is important but that sense of achievement when one winds the spring and sets the pendulum swinging is great. It looks far more complicated than it really is to assemble. Instructions are nearly all pictorial, pieces are easy to identify and I like the addition of creating the necessary tools for correct measurement in the same way as creating the parts of the model.
Not very useful as a clock as the dials are interesting, large dial is minutes, small dial hours but reading clock time takes getting used to so not as useful as the well-known clock face or asking Siri but fun.
The same maker does several similar models with clock movements so I would say go with those if you need a clock, this is an excellent example of a talking point model that is fun to build and watch.
The reason for the headline is that I started by only winding the spring a few times. This meant the mechanism worked for about 15 minutes before stopping, I spent ages trying to work out what was wrong, where the cogs were sticking etc. before winding a few extra times and getting the mechanism to go for about 6 hours before rewinding – that’s all I need as it also has quite a loud tick!

Die Qualitt ist super, das Holz nicht zu dnn. Der Zusammenbau trotz englischer Anleitung war sehr gut beschrieben!! Zum Verschenken und wie in meinem Fall zum selbst behalten einfach toll!!
Das Geschenk kam sehr gut an. Der Zusammenbau war auch ohne Probleme. Leider kann man das neue Datum nicht gut einstellen, da sich die Jahreszahl dabei immer wieder verstellt.

It’s a great model to get your “teeth into”. You only have to be careful of how you fit the small components because they break easily. I had to come up with a novel idea to replace the broken pieces (square pegs into a round hole is not the easiest thing to do. No wonder they broke).
I highly recommend that you take a good look at the instructions before you start, to ensure that you understand everything.
I still have some distance to travel with this model, but I’m getting there.
Daughter (12) had this for christmas and she is really pleased with it. She has a few other ROKR products and all are really well made and good to look at.
Build time about 2 hours and I wasn’t allowed to help so relatively easy to build. Most of the pieces are quite large so it does come together quite quickly.
There is a natural 2 tone finish to the clock with a natural stain on one section and the other has a red tinge. The colours look really good together and she feels that it doesn’t need any further decoration or colour.
Mechanism is nearly silent but it is just a tiny bit too noisy to have above the bed (where she wanted it.) it doesn’t tick but there is a very quiet mechanical sound. Day time this cannot be heard but at night it does become evident.
