Seem to be powerful enough… they manage to hold onto tools that I need to hand…

Magnets strong enough, I suppose they are as strong as iron can be? I have just got used to nermodium ones, which are soooooo much stronger.

Strong enough to hold some quiet heavy tools. Three convenient lengths for my workshop. Delivered within time stated. Cheaper price on amazon than my local hardware stores.

I am a lazy person when it comes to putting my tools away but have found these have helped – I ended up buying 3 packs!! The magnet is strong enough to hold a lump hammer up out the way so has no problems with screwdrivers and anything else metal just sticks and holds.

These have been a god send in my workshop, and have helped me to reorganise my tools and see them easily, will be having some more once I make wall space. Also useful inside cupboard doors.

I have these screwed onto a peg board and they seem pretty strong. Pipe grips, it laughed, masonary chisels, no problem, screw drivers, no need to even think about it, 3lb hammer, it dared me. I could still hear it laughing when I walked from the shed. Not sure what weight they can take ultimately. You may want longer magnetic strips, instead of the smaller ones, it depends how you want to use them.

What’s not to like, stick it on your tool box and it holds ant tools that are magnetic. Easiest way to save draw space or even use them in the draw to hold tools in place.

For 1p under 7.50, these are a good buy. The slotted holes make them easy to mount on a wall, and the magnets are seriously powerful (I’d echo the comment by another poster – don’t get your fingers between them if they’re close together). Have mounted some fairly heavy tools on them and they hold them comfortably. The other comment about the sticker labels? Be serious, they’re for a workshop, not a fashion statement.

use these in my shed for holding screwdrivers ,hex keys etc.i find these sort of tools stay in place easily .not so good for heavier tools though such as hammers,or heavy socket set ratchets.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOverall great and does the job well. My only issue was with the differing sizes…obviously I was aware of this before I bought them, but it wasn’t until I was mounting them and thinking about how to arrange them that it started to annoy me. There’s a big, a medium and a small strip which I eventually decided to arrange horizontally in a row all quite close together. In retrospect, I would rather have had two medium/large strips the same length rather than this decreasing size setup I have now. Just personal preference (/ OCD), the product is perfectly good and holds tools pretty securely. I’ve got a hammer and a big heavy torque wrench up there, no issues.

Great product. Has a good magnetic grip so it can hold heavy tools and lighter ones. Well made and a good price. Bought these about a year ago for a sceptical hubby. He liked them so much we bought more and my Dad saw them so we bought him some for his garage. Both men are happy and organised

  31. Anonymous says:

Bought to keep hand tools on the inside of lockable kitchen cupboards so I don’t have to dig out a whole tool box in front of my most ‘helpful’ of two year-olds.

The yellow ‘I am this long’ stickers are ugly as sin and cover lines of bar magnets glued to the rail. I took the stickers off and covered the bar with gaffer tape which looks a bit better.

The magnets aren’t bad but they are slightly sunken relative to the rail edge and tools only hold well when they are metal-bodied e.g. hacksaw and adjustable spanner stick solidly but VDE screwdrivers tend to fall off.

    Overall, handy for the money.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersGreat value strong magnets with multiple uses. I have Ikea stainless steel magnetic knife holders in the kitchen, I was looking for something cheaper for use elsewhere in the house. Have used them for storing tools in the under stairs cupboard, screwdrivers, etc. Light bulb moment when checking out some neodymium magnetic hooks – magnets work best with a pulling force, so work best mounted under a shelf, rather than on a wall, where an object may slide off the magnet. Have mounted these under a shelf over my sewing machine, now have all my scissors, thimble ,etc within easy reach, not cluttering up the table. Easily removed the yellow sticker using some “Sticky Stuff Remover”. Replaced it with some cheap white duct tape. You don’t realise how many steel fittings there are in a house until you go and look. Sewed a channel at the top of a bed valance for these magnets and attached it to the metal underframe of the bed. Temporary rubbish bag holder under the edge of a metal framed table. I also have a metal whiteboard. Sewed some bags with a channel at the top, easily attached to the whiteboard with these magnets, much cheaper than the expensive magnetic shelves and boxes you can buy. For items with no magnetic parts use cheap kids snap bands to snap around the item, they have an inner core of steel spring, or just cut up a cheap metal tape measure.

Have recently organised my tools in my garage and these bars have proved incredibly useful. I’ve only put the shorter two up and I’ve been using them straight away to stop me losing the odd drill bit and driver bit. Quality seems OK and the magnet is strong enough.

Bought 3 sets of these. They are brilliant. I saw on reviews some people had an issue with the labels, but I found by scraping off and using white spirit to remove the remaining adhesive they were no problem. Then used standard insulating tape in various colours to recover the magnets.Just the right width. Looks better then yellow Rolson advert.

This is a great set of tool holders for an even better price. They do their job of hanging metal tools and now my garage is much tidier. The magnets are strong and the different sizes are great for utilising a small space. Lots of reviewers have complained about the stickers on the holders, but i cannot understand that; if you don’t like them, trim them of just take them off.

he power of these magnets is awesome, holds heavy sockets and spanners firmly to wall or ceiling (without them falling) it takes effort to pull them off these magnets, available at well know DIY stores (but not at 7.50 delivered) and these are exactly the same at half the price

  51. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Have bought 2 sets of these now as they are excellent. The magnets are very strong. Does exactly what it says. The only downside is that you can’t take the yellow off, as it’s a sticker and doesn’t come off cleanly at all, so looks tatty. I’ve left it on the others and sprayed them in matt black and they look great now. I’ll definitely get more if I get more tools!

  52. AhmedHaviland says:

Really powerful magnet, bought a set of expensive screwdrivers which didn’t even have a box so this does the job holding them. Only minor criticism is the smaller bar is well too small. Not really worth the effort to wall mount i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese would be 5 stars, if it wasn’t for the terrible stickers covering the magnets. Handy hint – warm the sticker up with a hairdryer before trying to peel them off. I then covered the magnets with a long strip of gaffa tape. They now don’t look like they came from a pound shop.

Functionally, they are very handy. They’ll hold spanners, sockets, all sorts. Handy for mounting on to toolboxes with the fixing holes at each end.

Due to the strength of the magnets, you can hold tools upside & down which means you can store a deceptively large amount of tools over the range. it usefully comes with mounting equipment (screws & plugs)

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersSo i bought these for my locker in work to hold my spanners and such and make it easier to store them , well they’ve done the job i order 2 so i would put my tools horizontally.

The magnets are very very strong so don’t store them near to each when fitting as they may attract to each other and trap catch your finger which did happen to me and i got a blood blister for my lack of care

    But overall very good produc

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersInsanely powerful magnets – nothing is going to escape the clutches of these things. My only tiny gripe is the yellow sticker covering them which is flimsy and not perfectly aligned meaning it will wear down relatively quickly, but can’t be removed as the adhesive is too strong, but that has no effect on function. Just separating the three magnets when unpacking required tools – they are that powerful!

They’re magnets and ferrous metal is attracted, what more can anyone say?
I have used them as screwdriver and bit storage, they function OK but the magnets are not quite as strong as I would like hence the dropped star, however, this is a very subjective observation. They are useful additions to my workshop and I can recommend them, if I need any more I shall certainly consider re-ordering these.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHad my eye on these for organising my small tools around my soldering station for a while and glad I took the plunge. Now everything is at hand and out of the way at the same time. I only use the longest one to be honest, the others are a bit short but it’s great for what it is – a big magnet you screw on the wall!

You can’t remove the yellow sticker though without it ripping, well you probably good but it’s just a big ugly piece of steel underneath it so I left it on. No problem though.

It won’t support massive tools but I do have a crimper just about clinging to it.

Buy these. I’ve tried some of the alternative brands and they don’t have the same ‘grab’. Makes most of the commercially available tool racks completely obsolete if you’re trying to wall mount anything that’s made of magnetic steel. Stainless steel isn’t magnetic of course.

Perfect holders, loved the first on so much I bought another. The cupboard under the stairs is tidier and it’s easier to quickly find the most common tools needed round the house. Well worth a few quid if you have someplace to tidy those tools away. Strong enough to hold large pliers & other small to medium tools.

  87. Grace Walsh says:

     United Kingdom 🇬🇧

Very good tool rack. Good price too. Much better than the magnetic. Strong magnet which holds things like files and pliers very firmly. Probably also good for small – medium spanners too.

  88. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Really good for the money – robust and decent strength magnets. My only grip is that it is impossible to remove the yellow tape from them without leaving a mess. I tend not to like branding everywhere, particularly when it also information (i.e. the length of the holder) printed on it. I don’t see the benefit of this to anyone. So I’ve knocked off a start as it also cost me a couple strips of electrical tape to cover up the yellow.

  89. Anonymous says:

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood value, useful, strong magnets. As others have said, it is shame there is a tab at each end which is a little bigger than it needs to be- would be prefect if they could be linked together to make a more or less seemless track of magnets. The screws supplied do not have a big enough head to fit the slots- they almost slip through, so i used my own screws- no big deal. Also would be nicer if they had a plan plastic cover over the magnets instead of the advertising.

A very good piece of equipment. All three pieces are now installed in the garage and there is room for quite a few tools. I can now find a screwdriver without having to rummage through an untidy box full of tools. It should keep them from getting rusty so quickly.
