I’ve always wanted to try battle ropes but never dared do it in the gym incase I did it wrong and people laughed at me (I had visions of whacking myself in the face). So I was delighted to be able to try these.
I don’t know about dying of embarrassment, but I nearly died from the workout. I thought my arms were going to fall off, and that I was transforming into a T-Rex! These are very well made, and the fact that they come with the anchor loop is fantastic! It feels secure and has taken a battering from both me and my other half, and there isn’t a mark on them. Very impressed.

The first time I used the rope it took me a while to get in the rhythm of how to use it and get my coordination sorted out. That’s the first thing that struck me about this, that it is really good at improving your hand eye coordination and overall movement.
It’s a killer of a workout to use this for 10 minutes and has dramatically improved my cardiovascular fitness as well as being a great body workout, as with the right positioning of my body, I can work out most of the muscles in my body. There’s an anchor point included so you have some resistance to it, enabling you to vary your workout and use varying muscles. I find the standard swings are enough for me, given the rope’s 12kg weight. But it’s a great option to have. The fixings are also included so it’s a great bonus addition for me that I wasn’t expecting.

Even though I’m not a beginner, after a good, hard session with battle ropes, my arms and chest muscles always feel as though they’ve had a workout. For cardio too – I always feel tired, always feel as though I’ve worked hard, albeit in short bursts. No issue working up a sweat. Also, aches are always a sign of having worked hard !!
My only negative about this battle rope is that I had hoped it would be supplied with a bag, making it easier to move, easier to store. Currently, and for storage purposes I am using the box it arrived in, which is fine because I store it in the shed, but a bag with handle would have been preferable.

The ropes arrive well packaged in a strong cardboard box, and they are heavy so be careful moving them. The ropes are great quality, the exterior of the rope is covered in a high-quality material that would protect the ropes from damage from sweat or water which is great. They also come with a wall anchor if you wanted to permanently attach these, however I have just used these on their own so I can use them in different rooms around the house or take them out.
The ropes are comfortable to use and offer a great variety of exercises to mix up your training. I am really impressed with these and think they are great value compared to what is available across the market and the quality is fantastic!

Wow. This is heavy duty and its not even the heavier one. We love it we have a gym and it is a little longer then we would have wanted but its ok as we just go horizontal instead of vertical in the room and problem solved. The grip is by far the best i have held. The weight even though heavy is not impossible to get the flow going. Make sure you have a padded floor this even though covered will cause some damage if not properly used. The quality of this rope is great. I’m a cricketer and do part-time coaching for my local club and as part of it have used other ropes before but this rope has been the best in terms of material and quality. It is durable and looking at the quality I’m sure it will last a long time. It has been great for workouts for my arms and I will definitely continue to use it.
Also being a coach I use this with my students for strength. The wall fitting allows us to use it indoors when the weather isn’t ideal, this is very helpful in the current cold and wet weather

The handles are made from an excellent grippy material which will ensure you get the perfect form each and every time. No need to worry about the ropes slipping away. I got the 12m size and I must say that the ropes are pretty heavy so unless you really need the long length, I would possibly opt for the 9m. This is unless you are super fit and strong then maybe the 15m size will catch your eye ;).
I have been using these ropes as part of my workouts for over a week now and I must say it has made such a difference. Not only does it help with toning muscles, but as a warm-up gets you all warm and in the mindset to conquer the rest of your workout. This rope is good quality and heavy duty. It certainly gives you a good workout (dragging the heavy box indoors even gave me a workout!). This rope is extremely durable but it is also comfortable to grip because it is smooth but not slippery so you don’t slide around but you also don’t end up with sore palms.

This is going to last for a long time. You can get a really good workout with this and although I will not be attaching it to the wall, there are attachments included if you want to. Cannot find a single negative to be honest. A cracking good rope for the price.

It’s really helping my endurance during cardio. It’s a brilliant stage during high intensity training. It’s ideal for body conditioning too.
