I purchased the 8 channel Sansco CCTV system. I installed cameras around the house viewing the front, back and side of the property. The cameras are simple to install and adjust, the cables supplied are very long and I managed to cover the property without need for extensions.
The only minor difficulty that I had was that the connectors on the cables (BNC and phono plugs) require quite a large diameter hole if you are feeding them through walls.
The base unit supplied is well built and the software is easy to use – apart from changing the passwords you can basically keep all of the default settings.
The mobile software is excellent as well.
I had a problem with one of the cameras – I contacted customer support on a Saturday afternoon and by the next day (Sunday) I had a response with a resolution from Sansco.

I ordered this to add to the 4 camera system I already had ( also sansco). Despite the low price I have been really impressed with the ease of set up and the quality of what is a very inexpensive system. Once installed and the excellent app installed on my phone I could make final and precise adjustments to the coverage using the phone, which is so much easier than getting someone else to relay what the picture is looking like. The picture quality is excellent and advantages of cctv are far more than just security, as I live quite remotely it’s been interesting to see what wildlife visits and even to watch my old plastic greenhouse leave home in the recent gales. Overall an excellent and affordable system, I have recommended it to several neighbours and feel confident to do so.
Absolutely fantastic value for money. I really can’t believe this kit was only 200. Everything was well packaged, all the bits of kit feel to be of good quality, especially the cameras which have a nice bit of weight to them but are still adequately supported by the brackets. The interface on the DVR is superb and easy to use, very quick and responsive. The picture quality is clear and sharp when connected to my monitor either by HDMI or VGA cable. The playback frame rate is excellent and the compression retains most of the crispness of the image. The internet connection was incredibly easy to set up, as soon as it was plugged into my router the setup wizard on the DVR found the connection, and gave me a QR code to scan on my phone. Within minutes I was monitoring the cameras remotely. Can’t reccomend this product enough, superb!

As i made the purchase in a rush i didn’t read the full description to realise that the DVR didn’t have a hard disk so no playback was available out of the box. However, this was easily solved by purchasing a CCTV hard drive off Amazon. All you have to do is open up the DVR and you will find two loose wires inside that connect directly to the hard drive. It’s very straightforward and self explanatory. When you start the DVR up again it automatically formats the hard drive and the recording starts to take place and you can now playback.
Setting up the app on your phone is very straight forward using the guide on the screen. It has QR codes to link you to the IOS/Android app and also a QR code to enter the serial number of the DVR.
I did have a problem with one of my cameras being blurry and contacted Amazon to resolve this. Amazon could not resolve the issue as it was a problem with part of the package and not the whole item so i was told to contact the manufacture. I was a bit disappointed at first but nevertheless I e-mailed the manufacture over all the information and within 45 mins they responded via both e-mail and WhatsApp with a solution (which was a replacement camera sent out to me for the following day). I did not expect this sort of customer service level and am over the moon with the service that i have recieved.
Technology has moved on since we bought this but this really good and happy with it.
The image quality is great.
Great value for money with 8 camera and very clear pictures and excellent remote access. I found the instructions ok however there is some great videos on YouTube which are perfect for set up. Remember this this does not come with a hard drive but still a great system with a spot on picture

I have fitted lots of CCTV over the past few years And I have to say I am well impressed by my 8 Channel systems from Sansco.
Fitting is very easy and requires no wiring experience. This whole 8 Channel system was fitted in a single day.
Setting up the remote viewing was a breeze; simple as scanning 2 QR codes. One for the app and another to register the devices serial number. From the app you can live view and also review, playback and save your stored recordings.
The physical quality of the cameras is great. They allow for very fine adjustments in positioning.
I am well impressed with the picture quality in the day and find the night vision well above average when compared to similar systems.
My setup required installation in the loft, this was achieved using the LAN port with a powerline adapter.
I will not question going back to Sansco for my repeat business and will happily recommend this system to my fellow Amazon shoppers.

A brilliant camera system for the cost. There are many systems on the market and especially on Amazon that claim to be an HD picture quality but this is one that I can say actually does live up to the expectation. We bought this camera to cover our work area and found it extremely easy to configure and setup which was just a matter of plug and play. I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent system.
Great piece of kit. This is the second system purchased as someone saw ours. Took a few hours to install the cameras but once done less than 15mins to start recording.
