Night vision and motion detection and picture quality are perfect. Good quality and easy to set up. Good for africa weather.

Update: Had this now for about 10 months and while on the whole it’s been ok, every time we are away from home it stops recording. In this respect it’s unreliable.
Bought this system when our American made one packed up so had to replace the cameras, wiring and DVR. The quick start guide is really helpful and I found it easy to set up. The picture quality is better than we had before and night vision is very good as per previous reviews. Only one camera has poor night vision but the infra red is bouncing off a brick wall, however playback is very clear. The app was easy to download and set up and pretty similar to the dog minding camera we have indoors. So far really pleased but it’s a big job so not all cameras are on as yet.

This is a good entry level product and good value for money. Need some effort to install properly but ok for a DIY’er with reasonable competence. Picture quality is very good during daylight but evening fluctuates depending on what artificial light you have in the area. You’ll need to clean off cobwebs from the lenses to maximise night time picture quality also! – The back office can be tricky to get to grips with but I recommend contacting the supplier for any questions. They respond very quickly and have gone over and above for me with supplying a replacement power adaptor, even after the one-year guarantee expired.

Bought the 8 dome camera unit having seen it working on a neighbouring site.
It arrived within 5 days and worked straight from the package, I managed to mess up the password and emailed for assistance, within the hour, Xia from Sansco phoned back and fixed the password issue.
This is a great system for our large retail site and support is excellent. Will be buying a four camera unit for our home.

The product is really easy to install and the set up is just as easy. Perfect for anyone who is not technically minded. The picture quality is first class and I love that you can view the cameras remotely using an app on your phone.
It was all plug and play, easy set up on phone 5 mins.
Packaging is proper and nice. The DVR is well protected with really good bubble wrap and each camera comes in a separate carton box with protection. All the power supplies and the mouse comes in a separate box. Really nice.
The cameras are 1080p quality and can be adjusted to 720p as required. Day vision is very clear, and night vision also works fairly well, you may fit some floodlights supplementing the IR LEDs on the camera to improve the performance, but as said, their night vision do fairely well. Their app (both Android and iOS) also works fine. I haven’t tested out their motion detection so I cant comment on that.
Features I like:

* You can play back multiple recordings at once
* You can view them on your mobile devices, PC and laptop, anywhere as long as you have internet access
* Image quality is very good, both day and night vision, although you can’t zoom in too much because it will become a little bit blurry

* Cameras aren’t ugly, metal bodies, very sturdy and heavy wires
Features I don’t like:
– Still haven’t tried the motion detection but looking back on some reviews, others do mention it is way too sensitive, I need it to continuously record so I leave it on 24/7 recording so motion detection not really a big issue for me
– remote playback on mobile phone sometimes take too long to load
I will probably update back once I discover more things I don’t like but for now everything is quite good, I did have a little problem getting the system up and running but with the help of Sansco we got the problem fixed and everything is fine. I’m 100% satisfied with this product. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a super reliable security camera system.
The equipment looked alright and I strongly hope that it will perform well when installed. My only reservation is the sellers’ nonchalant attitude to my three unreplied messages. It doesn’t show good seller/customer relationship.
Excellent product and absolute value for money. Delivery was quick. Had a minor issue with a camera in night vision and Sansco customer services very promptly responded and agreed to replace the camera. Links very well to a mobile app XMEye which also works very well. Would highly recommend.
The 2TB disc allows recording for about two weeks with 8 cameras. To save space on cameras installed in “quiet places,” I activated the “motion detector” mode. This saves disk space, cameras record only when an object hits a frame.
Cable laying technology can be understood with my photos. In some places I managed to hide the cable inside the wall, in other places the cable is reliably closed from external influences.
The chambers have a waterproof metal housing. It ‘s not a bad defense against vandalism. The system has several modes of warning: motion detector, camera shutdown, camera closure by any object… In these cases, the system will alert you with an audio signal or a message. (message – if you connected the system to the Internet.) To avoid data loss, you can duplicate online recording to a server that is convenient to you. In this case, no one can steal your records.
The system is easy to install and use. Not a bad quality for cameras of this category. Easily transfer data to USB storage. They work perfectly in night mode. If there are “dark places” on your territory, (a very large garden) they can be further illuminated with an IR spotlight, which will have to be purchased separately. The price of such a spotlight is about 20.
A 5 days after the system was installed, one of 8 cameras stopped transmitting the image. The seller sent a replacement very quickly and my CCTV system is perfectly fine again.

Having decided to start researching for a home cctv system, I was surprised as to how many comments and reviews there were for a company I’d never heard of.
Initially, I was drawn towards the more well known brands, but the ratings for Sansco were too hard to ignore.
I purchased four bullet and four dome cameras and a seperate 2TB hard drive (which was simple enough to install), and started planning out how to lay the cables, which was the most daunting task throughout the whole process.
It really was very simple to configure and having mobile access to get the cameras at the right angle was a bonus.
The picture quality is brilliant, good enough for the read car number plates and the night mode is crystal clear.
I just can’t praise this system enough.
If you’re looking for home security at an affordable price, this brand is one to consider.

This is my first CCTV system and it is proving to be a great buy! I have been using this now for over 6 months and it has been very reliable with almost no hardware issues. The software for iOS, android and pc all work and I can monitor the system from them over the internet, although they can be slow to refresh when internet is busy. The wired monitoring is fantastic always works and is so clear! I have had 1 hardware problem which the seller has dealt with immediately without any hassle. Whenever, I have contacted the seller they have always got back to me very quickly with helpful advice or the information I needed.
The system works through cold, rain, wind and sunshine both day and night. The HD during the day is superb and the night vision is also very clear.
Overall, this is a great system, it keeps working 24/7 and most features are easy to access. The seller is accessible and responds to messages with great customer service.

The camera is pretty straight forward to set up with all the plugs just connecting to each other. Installation can be a bit fiddly depending on location but its again really straight forward. Each camera will come with a set of screws, wall plugs and an allen key.
Overall the build quality of the camera is i would say pretty good it feels relatively well made but i wouldn’t say it feels super premium. The power and AV lead off the camera is a little on the short side so make sure you seal the connections up properly to stop water and moisture getting to it.
Once its all hooked up its pretty easy to get the camera set up, theres a quick start wizard and all the cameras just get automatically detected. Once set up you can then go in and start playing around with recording intervals, scheduled recording and motion detection areas.
The system also supports a mobile app, along with supporting email notifications. This is where things can be not so user friendly but not impossible. in comparison to a swann system the user interface is a little bit old school not impossible or difficult but it wont be as straight foward. Given how much cheaper this is in comparison to the swann system i am happy to live with this.
I also emailed the seller and they kindly sent me the PDF instructions of the product and on there it clearly goes through all of the functions. If you follow the step by step guide in all honesty its not that difficult, in addition to this the service from the seller has been very good when i have had some questions they have been very prompt in responding.
The camera during the day is fantastic and the next step up would be a 4K system which is with this system, this system can clearly make out number plates, faces in both day and night so i dont know if a 4K system is justifiable or just a nice to have.
The only other thing i would like Sansco to do on their next iteration of cameras would be to move to a POE system which means less cabling, work on the User Interface and finally improve the quality just that bit more. now these points are improvements and in my opinion not a negative reflection of the product just what i would improve if i was sansco.

Initial installation fairly easy with some thought required for wiring runs in advance. Best to check cameras work before actually setting them up fully with “Deck top Setup”.
Cloud based interface very easy to setup using XMEye software supplied.
System can be setup to interface with home computer as well which requires a little knowledge of network setting requirements but help is on hand if needed. Thanks for support from Sansco on this.
Had a problem with 1 of the Bullet cameras after 2 weeks with water penetration getting into lense area and now waiting for a replacement to be sent following a couple of emails to Sansco support team. I was not very happy to have suggestion from Amazon to deinstallation and return whole system as they do not carry any individual Camara stock !

Had this been a straightforward “self-contained” installation, it would have had 5-stars. As it was I needed to link to a PC, have access via the Internet, AND change the default settings for individual cameras and playback…and that’s when the complexity came in! The software interface is very “clunky” and slow and has its own interface. I am never a great “manual reader”, which is just as well, as the manual was virtually unreadable!
I have had to make one return visit to the shop, as it was not immediately apparent how to review footage form all 8 cameras in “playback”. When I did default it to these settings, it was so slow and “jittery” that I changed it back to only seeing 4 cameras by default. I also couldn’t get it to work on the PC, and gave up trying…that will be for another day!
Occasionally the system will reboot itself and be offline for 50 seconds. It’s not the scheduled reboot and usually happens when I’m using remote playback from the PC app, so is likely a crash. The system does sound the alarm upon reboot to say there was a problem though, so that’s good. The apps also have terrible spelling and grammar and are poorly translated. Don’t bother with their suggested phone app, use vMEyeSuper or similar.
With all the above said, the bullet style camera picture quality is sufficient to pick out a car registration at 20 meters distance during the day, and 10 meters with night vision. The dome cameras have a noticeably lower quality picture, probably from the wider angle/fisheye lens so the domed ones are definitely better suited for indoor or above door installations.
Setting up the device will require patience and some technical knowledge, especially for remote access and email notifications. Setting up the alarms and motion sensing areas is relatively straight forward, though some menus aren’t intuitive and it took me a good few weeks of occasional digging to find where the video blind/blanking section is.
You can schedule times for when the alarm sounds, so it doesn’t wake you at night, however this schedule is for ALL settings, for alarm sound, logging, emailing. Now this might be me missing a setting somewhere, but I cannot tell it to stop sounding the alarm during night hours, but still make logs and emails, it will simply turn all of it off if outside the schedule.
On the subject of motion sensing, it seems way too sensitive during the night. I will get maybe one or two false alarms during the day, but at night the flies love the night vision infrared LEDs and will buzz around and trigger the alarm every few seconds. I wish I could schedule alarm sensitivity to be a little less sensitive at night.
On the infrared LEDs, they do glow a faint dark red at night, making the cameras visible to those that would pay attention. There are arguments for and against this though, Pro: it shows it’s not fake, Con: it reveals where they are and could make them a target for vandalism or a planned route of attack.
Hard drive space: We chose the 2TB drive because we plan to have all 8 cameras record. At the moment though we only have 5 cameras and are getting just a little less than 2 weeks of video history, so I can’t recommend anything less than 2TB space for more than 4 cameras if you want sufficient backdated video storage.
Cable quality is poor and they are fragile. We managed to damage one just feeding it through a brick hole and up the cavity and it made the picture drop out.
Despite all the above flaws, the unit is good value for money for home use. I would not recommend it for commercial use due to its unreliability and low resolution. A professionally installed 4k system would be better suited for that.
After three weeks of operation I’m amazed! The system is great, the family can check in any time whilst away from home on phones and iPads, set up was a breeze. The system is set to record all the time but then highlights activity which makes it simple to review the footage. The picture quality is great even at night, so good in fact I’ve been watching wildlife in the garden. We have a signal to a tv in the kitchen at the back of the house and the bedroom so we can checkout what’s going on outside anytime.
When I did have a problem they replied instantly and sorted my issue, what more can you ask, I had a quote from my local alarm people for 900 for two cameras, this system has eight for a third of the price.
I have no doubts about this system in fact I wished I’d bought one earlier.

I purchase this camera system after spending a lot of time researching it and due to problems with neighbours. Fairly straight forward to install and configure,very happy with it and the piece of mind it created. 2 cameras failed after 11 months, the seller couldn’t help enough and the problem was sorted without issue. The product arrived in good condition, however its remote viewing app called Xmeye has been down for months, we continually get an error 100000 (systeminfo) when trying to connect. This means we have no way of remotely accessing the footage. Thousands of people have the same issue, do a quick search in Google and you will find some very annoyed people. It’s been going on for months.
# UPDATED # It seems the app updated it self which required the network the DVR was connected to be restarted. The DNS gateway then worked a planned.

Extremely easy to set up on mobile phone , only downside is the rather bulky connector at short distance from camera – need to drill a very large hole to get it through for outside installation.
Bought this package after reading the reviews on Amazon and watching lots of usage videos on YouTube. Whilst this isn’t up there with the top end models, it does a very good job.
Picture quality during the day is clear. Bit of noise in the picture during the night, but otherwise OK. Zooming in, the picture is still quite clear.
Had a couple of faulty BNC cables which I’ve contacted the seller about, who have agreed to replace FoC.
Can view footage via the CCTV console and also remotely via phone app, XMEye. Remote access setup was easy, managed to complete in a few minutes.
However, there are 2 things I’m not so sure about when viewing the footage via the CCTV console. You can view a single timeline in the console or for every single camera.
1) you can’t move the timeline in sync across all camera timelines – each one is controlled separately
2) when in single timeline mode for multiple cameras, some of the events do not show up unless viewed for camera in question
Instructions are very simple for getting the system started – not comprehensive though. I didn’t try the mini CD, managed to break it putting the CCTV back into the box after inspection.
On the whole a decent piece of kit in terms of what you’re getting.

I operate a fuel station, after we’d had a lovely gentleman drive off without paying for his fuel and realising our old CCTV system had died I looked for CCTV systems on Amazon. This one had good reviews and the pictures some customers had taken looked great.
The picture quality is spot on for what I need, I did order some additional cabling and had to use one of the spare cables I’d ordered as one of the standard ‘in the box’ cables gave a poor blurry picture.
I’ve not finished adding all the cameras yet and setting up the app was easy. Considering buying another system for my house.
Received this in good order. 6 of the cameras are now operating. Waiting to fit other 2 after building work has been completed. Great quality pictures in each area. Had a malfunction on 2 of the 8 cables but the supplier replaced these without question. Arrived 2 days later. Had a friend install them because he is in the Audio Visual business, and he told me it is an excellent system for this kind of money. Should add that anyone without technical background could just as easily install. Didn’t know at time of ordering, but the system has a very clear zoom in facility. Would recommend to anyone considering a CCTV system. And the customer service should be commended on their no nonsense attitude when they replaced the cables. Well done!

2 of my cameras had a fault with the bracket. This can happen with any device but the test of a good company is how they respond and deal with your issue. After contacting them, they have immediately arranged for 2 replacements to be sent out, no issue.

Having used the system for a month in all light conditions I have to say I am extremely happy with this CCTV system. It works seamlessly and without fault. It just sits recording quietly in the background should it ever be needed. The ability to view images remotely anywhere I can get a wifi or internet connection through my phones mobile data roaming are an added bonus. Can’t fault this product.

After our old VHS system packed up we needed something more up to date. This system took less than 15mins to set up as we used our existing cameras to start with and then added further cameras making 8 in total. Great for home or small business.
Product arrived very well packed and complete. Equipment appears good quality and complete. Set up was not difficult ..more problems with my router than the kit. Now all working, wifi and remote access. Camera images are good and very bright in the dark.
Overall very pleased with product and followup contact by supplier was unusual but appreciated.
This is the third system I have purchased so I must be more than satisfied with them.
Customer Service is excellent, they have been outstanding in getting my issues sorted.

Excellent product works well, good system for the price. Have had no problems with it as yet all running well.
The clarity of the video is amazing, and so is the night vision. I have this setup on my private residence and i’m amazed at how easy it was to setup.

The IR LED’s do glow in the dark, so from certain angles will be very obvious, but that said, part of the reason I got was deterrence. The functionality of the DVR system far exceeds that of the cameras supplied, so the system is up-gradable once you feel you need better cameras. The software supports PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) via the RS242 interface so that may well be my next step (to replace 1 bullet and 1 dome camera with PTZ cameras – leaving me with spares for the other 6 and an upgraded system). Point of note, cant see anyway of using it or controlling anything other than by wire. If you want wireless options then this is not the system for you. That said, a wired system is far more robust, given how cluttered 2.4 MHZ is any residential area (with the inherent risks of drop outs due to accidental or even deliberate interference).
All in all for the price I paid, I am very happy with my purchase.
21 May 17 – Still very happy with the system – paid for itself when we got a clear shot of someone damaging one of our cars – resultant video led to out of court settlement to replace rear screen on car – additionally as its registered local police will sometimes ask for video footage for crime detection – so if its good enough for them, its doing its job!
Having installed the drive into the DVR, setting up the rest of the system is second to none. Cabling can be annoying, depending where you want to put your cameras, but once in position and switched on,,, WOW! The quality of the pictures (including the infrared) were outstanding. The quality is fluid, the colour clear (unlike my original setup where the green turned purple!!). Your choice of camera angles: one single shot, four views, seven views with one large view or all eight views on one screen.
Out of the eight cameras, currently have five up and running (3 domes in the car ports where no one will notice them, 2 bullets on the front of the house.) Coverage is great. Working on placing the other two bullets.
However, we had one faulty dome but customer services responded promptly and replaced the defective one straight away.
Still learning on how to fully set up the DVR and control over the internet, but this will take time.
Overall, a great piece of equipment for your additional security.
Excellent! the setup was super easy and connection was very very easy to follow and was up and running in just a few mins… although i had static ip to use so i did a little modification here and there and voilah! connected via ip rather than serial id

Good product working fine; does what it says. Cracked camera replaced quickly. Nice looking cameras, discreet but not to discreet!
Very happy with this product, very good value. Excellent customer service, after fitting we found one camera was faulty, emailed the seller who said they would sort it out straight away. I received a replacement camera, in the post the next day.

I bought this product to help protect my hairdressing salon. I was looking at similar products that didn’t have the capability of this product and at much higher price. Then I came across this CCTV system.
It is fantastic. Very easy to install and set up myself. Took me about an hour and I was all up and running recording. The interface is very easy to use and the capability is great. You can even view the cameras on a smart phone.
I would recommend this product to anyone. It’s well worth the price.
Also, the seller was great too. Before I bought the product I was emailing back and forth asking questions trying to make sure it could do what I wanted it to do. The replies came through within a few hours and they were happy to help.
All in all a great product and great customer service.
Particularly liked the HDMI output so installed this system to client TV so all he has to do when door bell rings is turn TV to HDMI channel . . . how cool.
When received had to remove HD drive as wanted larger drive and this unit was cheaper than most with the 500meg drive than most on sale without. So easy to replace and well tidy inside unit.
Camera’s good vision/clear and very little fisheye effect. Also tested in dark before fitting , good picture from the LED system so well impressed with camera’s
Comes complete with mouse, my favourite device for CTTV but not practical when used on a TV? so the remote . . .
The remote is a bit wooley as not all features are available . .
the instructions also a bit vague but Hey I have installed better systems and much much worse so some intelligence needed.
All in all a very good system , great value, small footprint, better than average software, easy to understand menu’s make up for shortcoming in instructions!
