I like these bulbs as they connect easily with my echo dot & phone ,once you’ve downloaded the bulbs app and followed the instructions, if I’ve a gripe it’s that sometimes they can lose connection to echo and or phone and I have to pair them or reset the bulbs but I think that’s mainly down to my crap wifi connection than anything else, very good and fun to use, would recommend them.
The Alexa is not as good as the google assistant but the colour is fab matches any mood

This light is perfect for communicating to my family when I can or cannot be interrupted while working from home. The Sengled app works great and you can set up “scenes” for your different colors. For me, I have a scene called “come in quietly” which turns my bulbs blue. The “do not disturb” scene turns the bulbs blue, and “come on in” is green. Easy to set up and since it works via Wi-Fi you don’t have to worry about a remote and direct line of sight to control.
Tip: don’t throw away the box until you’re sure you’ve installed it! The packaging has important instructions on it.
Some reviewers mentioned these are brighter than Hue bulbs, but i found them to be about the same. No noticeable difference to me. However, I am pleased with them and have purchased a couple more.
I’ve been using this lights for a year. I’ve spent quite a lot making my whole house Sengled. Now I’m finding out that when their server goes down, so do my lights. That’s insane; your lights shouldn’ty be dependent on some company’s server being up. Pass on these lights.
These are great. And cheap. Think I paid 36 for 4, gave one away as a present.
I use them CONTINOUSLY. Not for fancy lighting. Mostly I just crank warm white during the day. It’s at night when they, ahem, shine. Ya see, red light allows you to read a phone or a tablet without eyestrain but doesn’t really interfere with sleep if you fall asleep while reading/watching the tablet. Nice.
That’s why burglars use red light flashlights. Get it now?
I have like 5 different red levels set up, plus I have the timer app put them to absolute minimum red at 2am. I also use the gradual wake up (to whiter light) settings in the morning pre alarm clock.
i.e. these do all the good variable light stuff for pretty much dirt cheap. The only setback is they’re a bit of a pain to install on the wifi. You’ll have to do it for your mom probably, and they might be a bit of a grind if you are the tech guy (at least if you are like me.)
Impressive. It took me less than 10 mins to get a bulb working and fully integrated into an existing Alexa routine. Perfectly working now and, based on an initial play with it, just as good as the Phillips Hue bulbs but less complexity and so much cheaper.

They integrate very easily with Alexa.
I am especially pleased with dimming and colour capabilities.
Sometimes, I just use blue instead of dimming; it adds a mystical mood to the room.
I use a bulb in the bedroom, so I can tuck myself into bed and simply say, Alexa, Night Light Off.”
This use of the bulb with Alexa really adds a safety element when turning off lights for the night.
This bulb offers a lot of convenience to a home. I highly recommend it.
These bulbs are awesome! Reliable and fun when used with the Sengled app. Rocking the colors scenes for Halloween outside!

screw in and set up. it’s that easy. no connection issues. colors are nice. using with alexa on a program. the only issues i get are alexa itself. i use the same bulb without color outside and works well too. i will stick to sengled until i have a reason not to.
Staight forward app, easy install and does what it’s supposed to.
I have a few from Sengled = they all work. Not a hassle like the tplink/kasa stuff!
Alexa does not recognize the special effects setting eg. Christmas, Halloween, etc. She does change it to any color or dim setting.
This bulb is too cool for school. The color possibilities are incredible.
Easy to set up with Alexa, multiple colors to chose from, and the normal bulb colors are bright enough so you can see. Sometimes if the power goes out randomly it can be a chore to fix but it’s never the bulb it’s the Hub that comes with it.
So far I have 4 Sengled products at home. They all integrate seamlessly with my Google home and they work really well with my routine setups. The sengled multicol led works really well. I love all the different colors and created special themes for movie or game night etc. You can also set up holiday themes through the Sengled app, or by using your Google Home or Alexa app capabilities.
You get a good range (from warm to cool) of white light, but I found that my white-only Sengeled LEDs are more bright at 100% vs the multi-color Sengled LED.
Overall though a really nice product.
These are so much better than the older model. I hated the sengled hub with unbridled passion. That damn thing ruined so many days. These ones don’t need a hub. It’s amazing.

This was so easy to setup. Had no problems connecting to my wifi and pairing with Alexa. I Loooooove it!! The colors are nice too.
Great smart light. SUPER BRIGHT! All the colors are vivid and accurate, makes a buzzing sound when in use but it doesn’t bother me anymore. App is very intuitive and easy to use. Once you turn on the bulb it takes a minute or two to sync with your phone.
My father always loves any interesting lights, funny flash lights, lanterns, etc. I’ve bought the plain white version and connected it to the Hubitate Elevation hub as a slowly dimming up waking light in my bedroom. My dad used this colored one with the phone app, no hub, and thought it was really fun and cool.

FINALLYYYYYYYY a smart light bulb that connects to my Xfinity wifi network. It was so fast and easy to connect. Soon as I can plugged in and went to the app it started connecting right away and it connect to my echo dot 3 with no issues. I’m so happy to finally find one that works this was the 4th light bulb I tried. I will be purchasing a lot more for my whole house
I’m having pretty good luck with Sengled smart products cooperating with Alexa. The instructions work well, even if not perfectly, and once installed, the bulbs work exactly as expected.
bought this for a gift. Its very good with either elexa or Google assistant. As long as u have the voice command enabled on ur device, it works best.
Love! This bulb was so easy to connect! I had purchased & returned another brand because it would not connect to the app, but this was so easy! I especially enjoy that not only does it have different colors, but that it has different white light! I absolutely will buy again!
Bought these Sengled light bulbs to use with Alexa for creating an ambient evening atmosphere at home and really happy the way it turned out. Easy to install and control both through Alexa and my phone, no additional hubs required. And the choice of colors is great.
I was worried since a lot of reviewers seemed to have issues installing. For me it was super easy. Screw it in, install Sengled app, create account, login, pair, allow Alexa permissions. Very straight forward and it took about 5 minutes. The light works well with voice commands and the colors are nice.
I love these lights and they work very well, however of the four bulbs I ordered, some of them have different firmware systems. So the colors are different even though the software has them on the same spectrum. Also one of the firmware’s works much better with the assistant, sometimes the others don’t respond or obey my command
I purchased these for our master bedroom and they are great. They were extremely easy to install and work seamlessly with Alexa. The app is easy to use and has many useful features. The colors are vibrant. I would highly recommend this lightbulb to accent any room.

This light bulb was more of a pain to install than the regular Bluetooth ones that I have in other rooms but and this is a big but, it has worked flawlessly since installed. The reason it’s more of a pain to install is it works on WiFi so you have to download their app before you can integrate with Alexa. That being said I have never had a problem with it working whereas the Bluetooth ones from same company pairs easily with Alexa without downloading Sengled App but only works part time. I love this bulb as I just say Alexa, blue light and presto light is blue. It will also do different shades of colors if you say light blue or dark red or dark blue. I thought that was very cool as it’s easy to match led lights I already have around my house. In summary this is a great bulb and worth the money if it lasts as long as the box says.

I love how easy this product is to install! I downloaded the app on my smart phone, selected the bulb under my phone’s wifi options, and easy as that I was able to link it to my wifi and my Alexa app. The entire process took just a minute or two!
The color options are also wonderful! You can ask Alexa for a specific color or chose your own perfect shade from the app itself. Daylight is my favorite setting, it’s a bright white color that doesn’t feel too warm or too cool. It’s very natural and not too intense. I love this product and would buy again.

These lights are fantastic. I did receive these for free but I was wanting them anyways! They’re plenty bright, and the price is great. The app is a 3rd party app that multiple brands use but it’s Google home integration is easy and really useful. You can make schedules, setup scenes, have it change colors to music or just run through them all. Really enjoy them
I have tried many smart bulbs, plugs, cameras, light switches, etc. I have over 50 smart devices throughout my home and this is my new favorite bulb.
It’s is easy to setup through the sengled app and was easy to connect to to my Samsung smartthings hub. Once I made the connection between Samsung Smartthings and Sengled, app, Amazon alexa recognized it immediately and I was able to start controlling all light features via voice prompts. You can change colors via voice as well as brightness settings.
The bulb itself gives off great red, blue, greens and white hues and everything in between.
I wanted something that didn’t require Hub, and these seemed like the perfect option. They are working well with the app, and I can control it with alexa also. If you want to link the light with the alexa then it’s an excellent purchase option.
We loveee our smart bulbs! There’s a wide variation of colors to choose from with different levels of brightness. Works great with Alexa and easy to set up as well. Just make sure the bulbs have good access to WiFi – in the beginning sometimes 1 or 2 bulbs would disconnect from the WiFi (the bulbs furthest away from the router) meaning we were unable to control it anymore. The issue eventually corrected itself though and we haven’t had this happen in months.
I bought this as a replacement for the 60W ceiling light in the bedroom. Downloaded the app and setup took about 2 minutes. After that, integration with Alexa was also quick and easy. The brightness of this light works just fine for my bedroom as it is quite small. The white color temperatures provide plenty of light, and I frequently only leave the light at 60% brightness. The available color variations are huge, but it lacks the ability (or none I have seen) to save certain selections, or make certain colors a default, so this is the only negative comment I have. But a great product, great price. I will be buying more of the same for other rooms in the house.

I like that I can get warm and daylight white. I wish the colors were more true…the yellow looks more like light green , pink more like purple but it has some cool effects like halloween and christmas in the app. Alexa can change the brightness from 1 to 100% she even changes the color by voice. I am using this light in my kids room and they have mastered it enough to use it as a night light. I haven’t had a powered outage to test if I have to reset the lights like my other wifi light builbs. The bulbs that require the hub don’t have to be reset.
Love this light and can turn it on/off within being in the same room! Have it in the living room and turn it on before I get in the house. The features are great from bright to dims and all the color combinations are great!! Not extra device to buy connects right to my wifi.
This light bulb is fully customizable from color, to dimness, to scheduled times to work. I am using this bulb for my outside light right now. I have it scheduled to turn on and off at specific times so I no longer need to worry about flipping the switch. The app that goes along with the bulb has preset features based on Halloween and Christmas and look forward to using them at those times.
I’ve been obsessed with technology and smart home technology ever since it came out, and have been looking for affordable prices. My parents had purchased some bulbs from Sengled a few years ago and since then have been looking for prices to drop. Now that bulbs are more affordable I picked these up along with some yellow lights to program for my routines and have been nothing but satisfied. They pair seamlessly with Google Home, and expect similar for Amazon Alexa for those that use it. Highly recommend for anyone who wants smart home technology available in their home!
This is a good bulb to add to existing Sengled setups or on its own. It will integrate with Google home and I’m assuming Alexa also. It has acceptable brightness and the colors are quite good. There is little delay when changing colors and when turning on. This will not integrate with Hubitat since it is WiFi only and does not have a Zigbee chip.
I really enjoy my Sengled color changing bulbs!!! Easy to install. As you can see controlled by Both Alexa and Google Assistant with ease!! Sets the mood with just enough lighting. You can adjust how much light you need rather you need it to be bright or dimme
One of my favorite smart home purchases . This light bulb is wifi enabled and pairs easily to Alexa and Google. Endless choices for color and brightness. Easy to set up alexa routines. Also has frequent software updates. Who woulda thought. Highly recommend
I purchased one bulb and really liked it especially the ‘Effects’, so I ordered a second one. To my disappointment the second one doesn’t have the ‘Effects’ in the Sengled app. That was the main reason I purchased the second bulb. Otherwise the bulb works well so far. I like the option to change the color to a more natural color instead of being stuck with a yellow hue all over the house like most bulbs off the shelf have.
I have a number of singled lights throughout my house and was offered a new Sengled Smart Color Changing Light WiFi Bulb. We decided to put this in my son’s room and he’s able to control it via the app on his Ipod as well as through Alexa. I was concerned that without hooking it up to the hub it would have issues, but it syncs with all our routines and works flawlessly with Alexa. In addition, it was simple to set up. Highly recommend and will most likely pick up some others for the holidays as you’re able to create a holiday scene with the bulb and app.
