Easy to assemble, does exactly what is needed. Once folded doesn’t really take up that much room.

I never write reviews, but I cannot believe how sturdy the bike was for the price. It is so quiet.
It’s an ideal bike for first time

I purchased this following knee replacement surgery and after reading all the reviews decided on this particular one and l’m so pleased l did. It arrived on time was very well packed and was extremely easy to assemble, took me about 20mins, is very easy to manoeuvre when putting away, and very quiet. l usually use it whilst watching the television. It does exactly as described and so far l have had no problems. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve had it for quite some time now, 1.5 years, and it hasn’t broken yet. Every part is still fine. It was easy to assemble. Not complicated to use at all. I admit I haven’t been on it daily as I wanted to, I go on it more sporadically, sometimes daily, sometimes I don’t touch it for a month, but it still works. Not broken at all. I use it with the peleton app – not ideal because the peleton bike is more advanced with speed and cadence settings, but it’s still OK because it’s better than peddling on this bike with just music on is not motivating enough. It’s definitely the ideal starter bike if you’re thinking of starting spinning but you’re not sure you are going to stick with it for long. Even if you think you’re going to stick with it, I recommend you buy this bike first, because trust me, if you don’t end up using it much for whatever reason, it will just be like this big white elephant in the room that you used to hang clothes or bags on! If you do end up using this a lot and then it breaks, then I think it would be worth buying a more expensive bike, but not before that happens. I am 5 ft 3 and very low bmi and this bike has been just the right size and fit for me if you’re around my size wondering whether it might fit you – shorter people can have problems with fitting on certain exercise bikes.

Easy assembly and use just as described. Being only 5 foot tall was concerned if appropriate size to use but flexible seating for all heights and perfect for me.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is a very good product at an excellent price. I assembled it in ten minutes or so and it runs silently, as stated in the product description. The monitor is easy to read and the position of the handlebars relative to the saddle is just right for me. HOWEVER, the reason I have not given it five stars is that the seat is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on. It is too hard and too wide for comfort, and in not time at all I was experiencing pain in the perineum area. So, I was faced with either returning it or buying a seat cover. In the end I decided to buy a cover and found that this one was the best for the job: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01H78AXOK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (This is not an affiliate link.) I have continued to use the bike and, so far, have not had any more problems.

Sturdy to use. Working so far without any problem. By design, some parts of chord that connect the digital panel to the pedals hangs out. My son just tore it out with little effort and I had to solder it back by myself. I would say it’s fine if you don’t have young ones around where you use it.

This is a really good bike for the price that i paid (105). The set-up took about 45 minutes and had its irritations, including putting on the pedals and not having one of the screws (this was sent to me by the supplier upon request). You can get a really good workout from one of the 9 levels; the main flaw is that with level 1 being the easiest and 9 the hardest, cycling the same distance on a different level bizarrely burns up the same level of calories. Clearly this is not right and should have been corrected. Although the scroll though the programmes is automatic it would have been nice to see the distance, speed, calories burned all at the same time.. Nevetheless, it has helped me to meet the goals that i bought it for, namely to lose weight as i use if for about 30 mins 5 days a week. A lot less hassle than going to a gym and can be easily set up and locked away once used. There are occasional irritating noises on occasion but one expects minor glitches at this price.

  21. Maria says:

Overall I’m very happy with this. However, it does make a clicking noise as if something is getting caught as the pedal goes round. It’s not the end of the world, but does get mildly irritating after a while!
The bike works very well though! And it is great value

Great bike. Easy to store and use. There’s a tray on the screen to place your phone, so if want to listen to music or podcast whilst working out this makes it easy. The max setting seems easy at first but soon becomes harder the longer you use it. The seat is adjustable and one of bottom bars has wheels to help you with moving the bike into a storage area.

  23. Michael Epstein says:

It’s relatively easy to assemble, it’s easy to fold and move around however there are some aspects of the usage that feel cheap. The main screens LCD seems buggy and shows ghosts of things that shouldnt be on the screen and pressing a button messes up the LCD. Also, after using this for about a week I’m starting to get a knocking noise when cycling but it’s intermittent and don’t know what starts it or stops it. There is also a weird basket that goes in the middle, but you can’t use it for a water bottle or anything, so dont know what it’s for.

However the cycling experience is OK, it’s quite a stable bike when I’m in it , which is what I was concerned about before buying and there is a holder infront of the screen which can be used for a phone so I can watch something while cycling.

It isn’t silent – drive chain clunks at times.

That said, can’t complain for the price; reasonable display, sturdy enough and easy to assemble.

The exercise bike arrived in the timescale prediction ted by Songmics. It was easy to assemble except that the “handlebars” did not fit the downtime as the computer housing was slightly off centre. Nancy at Songmics dealt with this for me. I sent photo’s showing the problem and she ordered a replacement part which arrived apparently from Germany within a few days. The replacement part fitted perfectly.
The quality of the bike is good, and although the plans for its construction were basic they were easy to understand and all bolts and washers were in place ready. A spanner and allan key were provided for the build and I didn’t need anything else to build it.
I seem to have been unfortunate with the handlebars not fitting, but the problem was dealt with promptly, efficiently and simply, which only delayed use of the machine by a couple of days.

Perfect for my 5ft 1inch frame to use for exercise to mobilise an arthritic hip. Useful pedals straps for feet. Good seat adaption for different heights. I find the saddle comfortable

I use the bicycle twice a day for about an hour, it is very stable ,the seat is comfortable enough, it can be moved about after folding easily due to the anterior wheels. Yes remember when assembling it that the wheels must be positioned anteriorly .Instructions are very clear and it takes less than an hour to put together even for somebody of a certain age. The price is excellent and if you are serious about actually using it it is a great deal.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI write this review after six months of use. The construction of this exercise bike is excellent. The steel frame is accurate and welding and other assembly are very neat and well thought-out. It has been made easy to assemble, with even some of the bolts already in the right holes. It was well protected in its box for delivery, which had received a battering, but the parts were not damaged. There is a clear booklet showing how to put it together, including the left-hand thread on the left pedal (tighten anti-clockwise), which is absolutely standard for bikes, and with a good small open-ended spanner and hex bar to help assemble it all. There is a clear warning label at the one point on the frame where an injury might happen – where it stops folding out.
The resistance levels go from 1 to 8 and these do represent levels of effort needed to turn the pedals at the same speed. The range of resistance levels on this machine are fine for an out of condition pensioner, but may not satisfy an athlete. Similarly, the six positions for the saddle height only cater for average heights of people, but should be ok up to about 1.8 metres.
The screen turns on at the first turn of the pedals (two AAA batteries inserted into the box behind the screen) and remains on for about 4 minutes after all use has stopped. It is a nice clear screen with big numbers, and some little symbols around the display, which are not buttons, only pictures.
On the mode setting “SCAN” the display rotates between modes for a few seconds each: time, speed, distance, calories, odometer, and pulse, then returns to scan/time. If you press the mode button at any time the screen will then stay on that mode, until it turns off or you select a different mode. The distance, odometer and calories add up with the previous use of the bike, unless you press MODE for about three seconds (while switched on) when the readings return to zero, except for odometer, which always adds to the previous total. There is no reading for rpm.
So it looks nice, with lots of numbers changing to keep you interested. I cannot fault the time measurement, which counts up in seconds and minutes (and pauses if you take a few seconds rest). The speed and distance are always going to be a function of someone’s imagination, but I did expect the “calories” to reflect the effort made. I haven’t checked the reading for pulse, which I can measure in other ways if I want accuracy. When I noticed that the calories ‘measurement’ increased at exactly the same rate per pedal turn whether I was using resistance 1 or 8 I realised I had been hoaxed into believing it, and keeping a record of my supposed achievements. The reading seems to be linked to the turn of the pedals, but unrelated to the resistance level set. So speed, distance, calories and odometer do not reflect the resistance selected, only the turn of the pedals.
I now have a well-built very quiet exercise bike with a time counter. I suspect that most exercise bikes of this price level have similar ‘readouts’, but I will check with Songmics if the screen is just for entertaining people who like looking at numbers changing (they helpfully said it was for “data reference”).
As to the purpose of the machine, it seems well made otherwise. The bike also has a clip-on holder for a mobile phone, but if this isn’t needed it will instead take a few Mars bars for a mid-exercise snack. As advertised, there are brackets to support a tablet, but this would cover the numbers read-out (perhaps a good thing).
Yes, if you put the resistance setting high and pedal fast it takes quite an effort, so I must be burning calories (for real), if not necessarily getting fit. It runs almost silently, and the sellers were very quick to reply to my questions. I like the bike and the exercise, but I am disappointed by the child’s toy ‘measurements’ on the screen.

I am so happy with my decision to purchase this item and was little perplexed of how to assemble on arrival ( I am a 72 year old lady) but following the instructions I completed the assembly in around 45mi minutes .
As I’ve only had it 24 hrs I can only say after one exercise I am very happy with the performance of my 1st trial .

The bike was VERY easy to assemble. It is nice and compact when folded, and turns smoothly and quietly. The seat is adjustable, and is more comfortable than expected. It appears to work very well, although we just put it together after Christmas. I would recommend. There was a small issue which I raised with the supplier, and which they dealt with efficiently and quickly, so very good customer service. If I needed another exercise bike I would purchase from them.

Great & affordable bike. I was looking for a stationery bike so I can carry on with my cardio over winter months. This bike is suitable for my needs. I like to cycle whilst watching tv. It feels much more productive than just sitting on a couch. It is very quiet which I’m also very pleased about. Considering the price I am very happy with my purchase. So far I have no issues & I pretty much use it every day.

You can get a good heart rate going with this bike but didnt feel any pressure on knee joints. There is a rest lip on monitor for a tablet or ipad if you want to watch You Tube or podcasts while using. Good value for money

The handlebars to frame bolts have a very fine thread and bolt into thin metal. The handlebars easily work loose and can rock up and down slightly. The booklet says, if so tighten them. If you do you can easily strip the threads. I did this on one. The metal is not thick enough to accommodate a bolt that needs to be quite tight to stop movement of the handlebars. I solved the problem by drilling and using a couple of pop rivets. Bang goes the warranty but good solid feel to the handlebars.

This Exercise Bike is beautifully designed and made. The display is large and clear. Its functions are controlled with a single button. This can be used to a select single feature to display constantly or to display each of the things it measures (from Time to Pulse Rate) successively. The frame is rigid and strong but not too heavy to fold and stow. The Resistance mechanism (controls pedaling stiffness) works very well and the pedals themselves look as if they will be resistant to wear. Unlike some bikes on the market, the design is free from excessive decoration and redundant parts. This is a high quality device which I am happy to recommend.
