Good sound, had setup for the kitchen which was sufficiently
I can’t compare it to anything else as I’ve never had a sound bar before but I like the quality of the sound. It makes you have the tv louder so maybe your neighbours won’t like it.
It was only 50 quid but right away you can tell the quality of the speakers. It doesn’t have that plastic front that a lot of cheap ones have. It has the cloth, which makes the sound much better. I hooked it up with the optical cable (which was included). On my TV you don’t need to adjust any settings, just turn on the speaker.
I am an audiophile and can be little picky when it comes to speakers and headphones. This one just blew me away for the price. It has a rich sound and you can adjust to the type of sound you want (movies, music, news). Listening to the music is the best, I think. When we put on Spotify or a radio app you can really hear the depth and quality. I am hearing things in songs I have never heard before!
Haven’t tried the bluetooth or other Aux connections. But we are also going to hook up our record player.
The only down side (and I didn’t think it was enough to take a star away) is that you can’t lower it all the way down to zero. You have to mute it because the first level is set to a medium sound. I think that’s weird, but not enough for me not to like it. But it’s just a preference thing if anyone is set against it.
But overall this is a great product.
Sound is good. It is lightweight and easy to put up. My only gripe is the lights on the front are quite bright and all of them stay lit up while in use
Easy to install. The tinny speakers on samsung smart tv now replaced by a decent sound. Very pleased.
Sound quality is very good compared to the TV sound. An excellent replacement for previous Bose one.
Works well, sounds good, my only qualm is that the maximum volume is a little on the quiet side. Was quieter with a cable connection rather than Bluetooth oddly, that might be down to the amp in my monitor though.
I purchased this for an older model TV that I was having volume control problems with.
The sound bar was easy to install and set up, gives off a good sound and looks great.
Great value for money
I didn’t like my husband doing the usual man thing and not using instructions. If you follow enclosed instructions, you will get amazing clear sound coming from soundbar.
Was going to buy a more expensive Bose model but glad I bought this. The sound quality is very good and the connections and remote control add to the quality of this inexpensive sound bar. We use this for TV, films and general audio and the sound quality is superb with good depth of bass as well as a clarity for speech and narration. Would certainly recommend this and a third of the price of other units.
I did not want a soundbar, but I could not find a replacement for my 5.1 home theatre system that finally stopped working after about 17 years…!! anyway, this soundbar came up on a lightning deal, previous reviews all sounded good, so I thought I would give it a go..!! I’ts a nice length and weight, looks really nice in front of my 65″ tv, and it gives out a really good rich sound. I dont think that the tinkling sound on turning it on is absolutely necessary, but that’s just me, overall, this is a great soundbar, and I would recommend it!!
Outperforms it’s price tag by a long way! Looks great, sounds even better. Couldn’t be easier to install, plug into the mains, connected by the supplied optical cable and that was it. Later on decided to connect iPad via Bluetooth to play music..2 button presses and done. Sounds better than some 200 sound bars I’ve heard. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a slik looking sound bar with multiple inputs. Easy to connect to Bluetooth. I love how it have built in points for wall mounting, and because it is so light you don’t need heavy weight wall points. Great for watching TV. I would suggest buying a seperate subwoofer that can easily be plugged into the back for that extra experience. Well worth the price.
It’s very easy to connect, brings to life films and tv programs a must buy, for those who want a better sound output from their tv and blue ray players.

its exactly what i thought it would be. sound quality is good when used through a optical cable. for me it would be better if it has more bass but it has alot for its small compact size.
For its price, it’s hard to beat. A good improvement on the tv speakers and easy to install/use. Remote has been a little temperamental on occasions and the sound increments are quite big and sometimes you could do with a level between increments, but for the price, I can’t really complain.

Soundbar looks good, easy to install to TV via cable (1.5m optical – provided) and via Bluetooth to mobile phone. Sound is good enough for watching TV – mostly films and documentaries. It has greatly improved the sound quality (TV build in speakers were tiny and had plasticky sound), you can hear dialogues much more clearly and a bit of bass is rumbling in the background. It is not cinema quality though and not powerful enough for party music but that’s not I wanted anyway. There are three pre-programmed settings and no manual adjustments – not a problem for me as I keep it at one setting all the time. If you want more control – look elsewhere. Overall very happy with the sound.
There are a few downsides for me: you have to have separate remote for soundbar as I couldn’t integrate it with TV remote (it looks like a common lack of this feature for most bars at this price point). I managed to get used to it after while – more an inconvenience than a critical flaw. Second downside is that there is no visual representation of the volume intensity (like a bar or number). This is all done by ear. And last one is that there are not enough steps of increasing the volume (I think it’s ten, but in reality I would use three to four), and some steps result in relatively big volume increase. Another design flaw that you need to get used to. Overall for 50 it is a decent sounding bar for ‘normal’ TV watching, nothing sophisticated but does the basic job. For this price I would buy again.
Great product and excellent value. The internal base isn’t great but I knew that when buying. I have it wall.mounted with an LG TV, and both work great together. I have the Bluetooth on all the time can easily switch between TV and Spotify on phone
Good sound. Easy to install. Quite large. Tried headphone, AV and Bluetooth connections and all work. Makes a nice sound when it turns on and off. I am very happy with it. Excuse my Vectors toys in photo.

Used this to replace a cinema surround sound through a blue Ray player. Great sound through the optical cable really impressed and a cracking price.
100% improvement on my JVC smart TV speakers & I also added my powered Sony subwoofer I’m just not keen on the power on jingle

Arrived quickly, it is sleek and the sound quality is great.
The sound bas has really increased the audibility of TV which was not possible previously even with adjustments to the TV treble and Bass & clear sound settings. It has given the TV a nice tone now.
Using the optical connector I had to reduce the TV PCM level from 0dB to -7dB as it was too loud even on lower sound bar volumes. The volume steps are noticeable at some levels of volume.
The Echo Show is also linked via Bluetooth to the Bar easily switchable with the remote and the soundbar was easily recognised to pair with it.
The soundbar is a great extension of the Echo show speaker with plenty of volume for ‘Planet Rock’ and of course notifications from Home automation and other sources are presented by lowering the music volume to announce.
The 80W tag is probably a bit misleading as it always has been in the industry, as in this model, there are 4 speakers (it says tweeter drivers DS6601P only) in the Bar , Tweeters and Mid/Bass so thats 20W each and that is usually PEAK Watts and not RMS, i did not find any reference to Peak or RMS in the docs. .
This device is for a normal TV lounge and has more than enough power, TV or Music
I am pleased with the result but a bit of adjustment between TV PCM levels and the points where the volume steps are noticed so 4 stars only for sound.

If your looking around and thinking this is too good to be true well I promise you, you won’t be dissapointed, it even works with Bluetooth aswell so I’ve even attached my Alexa to it!
Free optical wire that comes with it is dodgy but works after some wiggling. The sound is clear but bass could be better. It does improve the sound quality during movies etc.
Sound quality is excellent, very easy to set up and use. A very good buy.
I am not a sound guru or a guy who knows much about technology and audio stuff however what I do know is films sound so much better with this sound bar. Its loud and gives you the cinema effect In your living room.
The remote is effective although I probably would have preferred an app on my phone to be honest. Its easy to set up and the instructions are clear.
I like this product because it wasn’t bulky just right size doesn’t stand out to big good value for money

Excellent sound bar, although my power pack did not work on this occasion, did have a torch power pack that saved the day, not to put people off, you get this now and then ordering on line, I am sure if asked they would resend power pack or replace order if required

Good soundbar for the price. The sound quality is good but doesn’t have a equaliser and volume goes up in increments so hard to get the perfect volume unless you are using a video player app with volume control.
So far so good.
Connected up to the TV in games room. So able to get the extra boost from this sound bar either playing games on the xbox. Ps4 etc.
Watching a good film. Playing music etc.
But it’s also blutooth so it’s good to belt out the music off your phone or tablet etc
Comes with all the fitting and a remote control.
Can be fixed to the wall aswell as a added bonus…
In short – they’re good.
This soundbar, while not a branded name, offers fantastic sound-quality at an unbelievable price. It’s permanently on now, and audio from just the TV speakers sounds so dreary to my ears these days.
It’s not feature-laden, so you don’t have every connection option or a range of audio modes. For me, I just hooked it up to my TV using the included optical cable, and it works like a dream.
The sound is so much more vibrant, and I hear a much wider range of audio than I did previously. Human voices are clear, the bass has a good punch, and you can hear a minutiae of background noise which serves only to enhance the experience.
There are just three selectable sound modes Movie (more bassy), Music (better mids), and news (better voices). This is more than enough for me, though I tend to keep it on the movie setting as I think this gives the richest sound.
It has built-in BlueTooth which is a nifty feature so you can quickly pair your phone to stream music.
As an introduction to soundbars, this one has been phenomenal. While I do imagine I’ll be upgrading it in the future it’ll still be used elsewhere in the house.
Having had a Bose sound bar installed on our main TV for the last 18 months & preferring it to the standard TV speakers, I was looking for another for my gaming set up & so when given the chance to try this product I couldn’t resist.
Upon receiving the sound bar, it looks very similar to my Bose one – a slim black design that although quite large (3 feet!) it looks sleek mounted under a 50 inch TV display. Installation is simple & didn’t take long at all, plug it into the power socket then your TV and hey presto! You also have the option of connecting via Bluetooth so you can connect mobile devices – phones/tablets etc and it works very well.
Sound quality I think is very good for this price range, there is a limit on how much bass can be achieved in my opinion but I’ve found this is the case with other sound bars due to their slim design – for more depth/richness it’s better to go for a model with a subwoofer IMO. But for the average user/family this will be a vast improvement on a standard TV sound – perfect for enhancing movies/gaming and improving overall enjoyment and immersion.
For a third of the price of big brands this is an excellent buy.
