USB C charging, foldable, noise cancelling, tough
Bought these for flights, excellent. Obviously can still hear around me, but blocks irritating travel noise. There are different levels of noise cancelling which can be useful, and you can adjust by a quick tap on right hand side, no guessing at buttons you can’t see. Very durable and tough, my pair have had a lot thrown at them and still going.

    It's okay I guess
Solid budget headphones. It’s light but not flimsy, easy to set up and use. I can wear them for hours without any kind of discomfort which is a huge plus in my book.
On to the negative. Not sure what I was expecting for under 50 but noise cancelling is a joke compared to my other headphones (Sony WH-1000XM5).

    Nice
I had a set of Bose headphones that slowly got worse, so I bought a decent, but cheep set, and they were fine but not great. Then I saw these and as I have Anker Soundcore speakers around my house I know they are a good make, and they certainly lived up to expectations they are comfortable, well-made they sound great, the noise-cancelling is spot on and the transparency option means all the boxes are ticked.

    Affordable and worth ow
The Bluetooth headphone is a fantastic option for those seeking premium features without breaking the bank. With solid sound quality, effective ANC, long battery life, and a comfortable design, they provide excellent value and versatility. While the call quality could be improved in noisy environments, this is a minor drawback compared to the overall performance and affordability of these headphones.

    Fantastic noise cancelling
I love these headphones. They have a very good range, allowing you to move from room to room without losing connection. The noice canceling makes for perfect listening. I liked them so much that I bought another pair for my husband. When our son tried them, he wanted a pair too. So I bought a pair for him during Amazon Prime week at a very good price.

    Really good sound
These felt light to wear, blocks out the majority of background sounds like my noisy neighbours TV. It does jump from different modes when you take the headphones off but easilly fixed by pressing a button. I found them uncomfortable to sleep with but for using when working from home or around the house or as airport they are perfect and work just as well as the more expensive brand. Good battery life too.

Great sound quality and super comfortable to wear ...
Lovely pair of headphones. Super soft to wear and very light. The sound was also very good quality, which I would expect from Anker. I bought them specifically for noise cancellation purposes and this is where it failed me (it didn’t drown out my next door neighbour’s barking dog – although had muffled it somewhat – and it does muffle general noise). I’ve come to realise that there are no headphones out there that will cancel our noise altogether (I’ve tried my brother-in-law’s Bose noise cancelling headphones and they don’t block out noise entirely), so it is finding the right balance. However, if you are looking for noise cancellation headphones on a budget, these are the ones to get. You won’t be disappointed.

    Great purchase
This is my first pair of over head earphones as I’ve had AirPods for years. These are very comfortable, the sound quality is great, very easy to use. I have found after wearing them while out walking the dog that they get quite sweaty around the ears, would like to try them for running but haven’t yet. I purposely picked a pair that were not too expensive incase I wasn’t happy with them and needed to get another pair of AirPods for exercise but so far so good.

    Amazing headphones!
This is my first purchase from Anker. The sound quality and bass are good, the battery life is excellent, and it looks fantastic—definitely a better choice. Fit is good. However, it can sometimes be less audible when talking on the phone in public transport or crowded places. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

    Wonderful for the price
Got mine for 50, wonderful engine silencing on my tractor. Only downside is that ANC only works on Bluetooth, not wired,so i cannot plug into my player and have ANC. Contacted support and they confirmed that is by design. ( not n publicity material) . So reluctsntly I returned it.

    Other than that fully reccomend.it..

I have a neighbour that likes to play piano for 4-5 hours a day. I have another neighbour with kids who like to run, jump and shout for 4-5 hours a day. I DON’T HEAR THEM ANYMORE. I can work from home, I can relax without feeling like I’m loosing my sanity. These headphones literally saved me. I love them.

    good product .
but the instructions is the worst I ever come across.
very tiny pictures on instructions ,very tiny write up.
needs magnifying glass to read the instructions and to see
the photos. hence 4 stars ,
    other than that is ok

    Great sound and battery life
These over ear headphones are very good. The sound quality is superb and the battery life is amazing. Probably used them for about 30 hours already and the battery is still showing 50%
Longest I’ve had on them on constantly is about 6 1/2 hours and they were still comfortable, and I have quite big ears
The app is great for changing the equalizer settings. ANC is brilliant but there’s also a transparency mode for when you need to be able to hear your surroundings.
Comes with a sturdy hard case for traveling and a headphone jack cable for when you want to connect to a non Bluetooth device.
    Would thoroughly recommend them.

    Great headphones, bad microphone
I bought these on a recommendation for the strength of the noise cancelling, and for the price it is great. They are lightweight, fold down and come with a hard shell case for travelling. A secondary use for me was to be able to use them for calls if I’m out walking the dog or running errands and unfortunately that’s where they fall down. The microphone quality is really bad, it barely picks up your voice and picks up a lot of ambient noise.

If you’re looking for headphones purely to block out external noise, absolutely recommend, if you’re looking for anything more, save your money on these and put it to something a bit more pricey!

They work well, the plastic parts might break if misused
I must say they worked better than the 3x more expensive headphones from a renowned brand I got after these.
The only downside is the quality of the plastic used: within 2 years a few bits were breaking and coming off. I was still using them, fixed with cello-tape (not very fancy…). One day I forgot them on a bus, so I decided to buy a pair from a renowned, more expensive brand thinking it would be an upgrade but, no, I was happier with the noise-cancelling power of these ones. Very good also for listening to music in peace. I have not used them for phone calls once so I can say anything about it.

    Good Headphones
Bought as a gift for a family member. Works well on a plane for noise cancelling and playing music. Only issue is the buttons. – Too easy to accidentally press, changing the noise cancelling mode or changing settings. Also, although we read the instructions on how to turn on, connect, and turn off, it was trial and error when switching off and knowing for sure they were off.
Overall, good budget headphones that fit larger ears and have good noise cancelling.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersVery good sound once you get it righ
These soundcore q30 headphones are really good value for money, build quality is good, but would like to of seen some alloy at the joints for better robustness, the ear cups are very comfortable compared to one audio headphones, the carry case is OK, but I would rather of seen a moulded shape where the headphone fint into place in the case itself, but not the case with these, you just have a strip of foam to separate them.
Now to the sound, the sound ain’t good straight out of the box, the sound only comes to life when you set your own custom equilizer settings yourself, I found a sweet spot on mine, and I have uploaded screen shot of the settings of mine for you to try, and see what you think,
Have the “first setting” on +3 then the “3rd setting” on +0 then all the rest on full to the top as you will see in the screen shots I uploaded.
Exelent purchase, would recommend on this price tag to anyone.

    Very impressed with these
My previous pair of Bluetooth headphones developed a fault with the micro usb charger port and it wasn’t worth finding out if they could be repaired.
I Googled around for Bluetooth headphone reviews and these got better reviews than some bigger brands like Sony.
I also had a chat to a friend of mine who is to headphones like Imelda Markos was for shoes and really rated them as well.
These were quick to set up and wow a massive sound upgrade compared to my previous pair.
The bass and treble response is much better and the noise cancelling is excellent.
The battery also lasts a long time before requiring a charge.
I use these with an AV receiver and my hobby is making electronic music and again a massive improvement on bass and treble.
If this is the general quality of Anker they will certainly be on my list for the future.

    Brilliant headphones !!
Simply put, these Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones are brilliant !!
If I had paid over 150 for them I would still be delighted. To get them for just under 50 and with free prime delivery also, just makes these cans one of THE best deals I’ve ever had. I am very fussy about how I listen to my music, and believe me when I say this: You simply do not need anything else once you own these beauties. I’ve listened to a lot of the big brand names like Sony, Sennheiser and the like. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to say they are bad, but none of them are worth paying 4 to 6 times the money when these Soundcore Q30’s can be had for such a steal. What makes them so good you may ask ? Well first off, they very well made. They feel both luxurious and comfortable to wear. They have 3 listening modes: Normal, Transparency and of course Noise Cancelling – which works very well in my opinion. Most importantly of all though, for myself at least … They sound amazing !!
I have paired (very easily ) them with both my Oppo phone and tablet and am now in a state of aural bliss
All I have left to say is this: do yourself a huge favour and buy them – you won’t regret it and your ears will thank you !!

I've never heard noise cancelling like this
Oh my god are these awesome. I’ve had a pair of JBL710s for over 5 years now loved them to pieces. But they finally gave up the ghost. RIP, so I was looking for a nice pair of head phones with good reviews and alot of them. Which eventually led me here. And when I said I’ve never had noise canceling like this I mean it I thought the JBLs where great. I literally thought I went deaf when I put them on. I do suffer abit from chlostrophobia (dunno if that’s spelled right) so if you have it really severely NC mode might not be for. But You’re in luck because there are three modes (Noise Cancellation, Transparent, (which allows of hearing people in the room talking to you) and then also normal which is more of a standard Noise Cancellation so it muffles noise but still allows so outside noise. And a massive bonus was probably the case. I wasn’t specifically in need of a case but I was thinking of it. And when these arrive they came with a really nice case with a very smooth zip action, these are probably the best you can by in this price range and you would have to pay tons more before you would see any viable improvement in audio quality. So to end off. If you are looking for a nice feeling sleek pair of BT headphones. Just stop looking you have found them

Amazing battery life and design - worth i
I love these headphones; I got them in replacement of some JBL headphones of the same price; I have found they have:
    – significantly longer battery life
    – a lot more comfortable – don’t ache after long wear – the headband and ears are very cushioned, the ear pads are deep so your ears don’t touch the flat inside bit
    – just as good sound quality and noise cancellation, but a more ‘whole’ feeling
    – a transparency mode, which can sound weird and loud if you’re not playing music but is very useful when wanting to listen to music but not miss if someone starts talking to you.
    – look more sleek, in my opinion
    – have a sturdy box to keep them in, which I honestly LOVE because my others ended getting all damaged since I carry them around in my bag.
    Would wholeheartedly recommend.

    Good produc
I’ve now had these headphones for over a year and figured I should write a review. I like them a lot and find them super useful for studying. The noise cancelling is pretty good, but I have no comparison point as these are the only noise cancelling headphones I’ve ever used. As a slightly cheaper noise cancelling option, I think they do the job. The battery life is really good, no complaints there.
My biggest issue with them is that as a glasses wearer I do find them rather uncomfortable to wear, especially for more than about an hour, so definitely take that into consideration if you are thinking about buying these. Another minor issue is that I feel they look bulky on my head, which makes me not want to wear them in public.

2nd pair due to issue turning on.
Ordered a set for daughter Christmas but after 4 month they failed and could turn on. I managed to find out that you hold power button and volume up to reset them. Which turned them on and they said 100% power.
Turned them off but wouldn’t turn on again.

Not ideal but quick chat with amazon I had them returned and a new pair ordered as they are well rated and the voice and sound quality for the price are excellent and my bose quite comfort had a very similar issue so I don’t believe it quality issue that affect all of the products they supply and was unfortunate that our pair failed.

    Small heads beware!
I do like these headphones, they are comfortable, they have lovely sound, and are just about as good as the Soundcode Q20 and the Soundcore Life Q20 headphones that I have had before.
The noise cancelling does not seem as good, and they also do not have a bass boost as the Q20 ones has previously, which if you are a fan of bass is a downside. The biggest problem for me and the reason for only 4 stars is the fact that I am not able to really move around in these headphones much, I have a small head and they are quite large. if I tip my head forwards or backwards I can feel them slipping off! If I wear my hair up and put on a headband thingy I can get them to stay but being a glasses wearer also this can be a little uncomfortable. I think that if I knew any of this information before I would definitely choose the Q20’s again! even though they also are a little on the large side, they definitely didn’t slip as much as these ones do. I bought these to replace the Q20 headphones that my daughter seems to have taken ownership of!

    AMAZING HEADPHONES!!!
AMAZING Headphones, these are my first high-grade headphones and the noise cancelling is amazing, works well on blocking out cars and talking, however it struggles a little with specific noises like bus-engines and can sometimes come through. The quality is INCREDIBLE and the transparency feature allows me to keep listening to music while also holding clear conversations with friends and co-workers without needing to take off/put back on my headphones. Got these on black-Friday and the value for what I bought it for lives up, and I’d happily buy these again if I ever needed to! The plastic on the headphone buds hasn’t worn away yet and still hold up, battery life is amazing and only requires charging once every week/5 days for a few hours and works for a WHILE! Entirely recommend these and have recommended them to friends too!

    Good Value. Good Quality
Bought to replace my ageing wired headphones as I find myself watching more-and-more content on my tablet as my wife usually has first dibs on the TV. At least if we’re in the same room, we kind of keep each other company.

First impressions are good. Headphones are light and comfortable. I have big ears and the pads fit over (just) and not on top. Noise cancelling is good — my wife has to shout to attract my attention. Bass and lower frequency definition is quite impressive. It’s not fair for me to comment on the higher frequency definition as the +/- 6dB custom equaliser adjustment is not really enough to counter my severe high frequency hearing loss (I could do with +/- 25dB – see attached). However if I’m feeling really fussy, the in-app equalisation of the music and video players on my tablet and phone added to the headphone equalisation settings shown does seem to give me as reasonable a full frequency range definition as I can tell.

I’ve read reviews saying the ear pads start to disintegrate after 12 months or so. I chose these as replacement pads seem to be readily available online.

    All-in-all worth the money.

One of the best I've tried
I was a bit hessitant to buy them as I dont know the make well. Boy I was mistaken!!!
I have a few headphones at home, philips, JBL,….. This are one of the most comfortable headphones I have ever tried. They snuggle up around your head perfectly, you could have them for hours and not notice the headphones, lightweight and feel very solid.
Great speakers also, theyre not Bose quality but at the level of JBL (without the price tag), a great feature is the equalizer on the app, so you can tune it at your taste. The noise cancelling is pretty decent too, I use an old fashion gym where they’res a lot of people doing dead lifts and dropping the weights making an awful noise, well, with this on plus the music you cant hardly hear it.
Extreme value for your money, I will update this after 6 months of use and will tell you about durability….. So far, 10 out of 10.

Great set of headphones, although you might struggle with calls.
I’ve had the Q30s for a little over 3 months now and wanted to write a quick review on my findings.

I bought these headphones as I wanted wireless and noise cancelling functionality, without breaking the bank. I only really use them for work, so rather spending 200+, I settled for these.

Overall they are fantastic for the price. In terms of build quality, they are a bit plasticky, but what do you expect when they are under 100? If you treat them well, then they are more than good enough. They don’t creaky or show any signs of breaking, so I am more than happy in that respect.

The ear cushions are also great. I have a pair of Audio Technicas, and in comparison, the Q30s have less padding, but it’s by no means a negative. I have never had any issues with them.

Sound wise, I am no expert. However, I personally think they are great for the price. The bass is decent, and I’ve got no complaints. In terms of noise cancelling, they are fantastic for the price. I’ve tried Sony headphones in the past, and the Sony’s are definitely better, but then again, they are nearly 3 times the price. Personally, I have no issues, and they are able to mitigate background noise when I am in the office.

Battery wise, they excel. I’ve only charged them twice in the time I’ve had them, so I’ve got no issues.

There is only one issue that I have, and that is in regards to making calls. There is a lot of background noise in my office, and I’m always getting comments about it. The microphone struggles to isolate your voice, and therefore everyone can hear the background noise. It’s disappointing, but as I mainly work from home, I can live with it. Do bear in mind that I work in a rather noisy office, so this may be less of an issue for you.

Overall they are fantastic for the price.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersAmazing headphones
I’ve had these headphones for nearly a month now and the difference they have made is incredible. I have ADHD, I get overwhelmed/overstimulated by noise quite easily so I use earbuds to block out noise. I wanted some new headphones as my old ones are uncomfortable and don’t reduce noise all that well. I read the reviews on these and decided to give them a go and I’m so glad I did.

I recently went away and forgot my earbuds but I had these headphones, the noise cancelling on them reduces noise so well even before I start playing music. It made such a huge difference. They work even better when you play music, you go in to your own little world and forget people around you. I had to travel on the train and I find this very stressful because of all the noise, but these headphones blocked out 95% of the noise and made the journey so much more bearable for me. I also love being able to flick through to transparency mode just by touching the side of the headphones. It is sensitive and can be activated accidentally but I don’t mind this as it’s so easy to put them back on to noise cancelling mode.

I really like the app and that you can customise it to however you like. I think that’s a great feature as everyone enjoys listening differently. The battery life is really good too. They last me quite a long time before they need to be charged and they’re quick to charge too.

The sound quality for me is so good, so clear but I’m not really in to bass tones etc so others may disagree but this is just how they are for me. I’ve also tried them out on calls too and I’ve been fed back that I sound clear, and I can hear others clearly too.

The wireless range is excellent too. I live in a 3 story house and I’m on the top floor, I was able to get to my kitchen, closing all doors along the way and got all the way to the back of the kitchen before the wireless started dropping out. Which I found very impressive.

I would say, the only con for me personally is they are big but that’s not down to any fault on the headphones. I have a small head so adult headphones have always been big for me and kids headphones are too small unfortunately. Even with them being big, they are still comfortable and I can wear them for hours and I have done.

For the price I paid for them (49) as I got them when they were on offer, they exceeded my expectations. I bought them under the assumption that I’d have to send them back as I’ve had to do with so many others before for various reasons. But I have been pleasantly surprised by them and I’m so happy they proved me wrong. These headphones honestly have changed my life. I’d go as far to say they block out more noise even without playing anything better than my earbuds do and my earbuds reduce noise levels up to 28dbls so they’re also good. I’d be more than happy to pay full retail price for them, they’re that good and I’ve raved about them to my family and friends.

If you’re looking for a great pair of headphones with great sound quality, long battery life, great noise cancelling and are comfortable to wear then give these a go. I think you’ll be surprised like I was and if they’re not for you, then they can always be returned.

    Not too shoddy
Okay, first off, the good stuff.

Comfy fit – I have had over ear headphones before that were either tight as a vice, too small for my ears, or with hard material on the cups that cut into my ears. These are nothing like those. They fit around my head with only the first extension notch used. They are soft as silk, both on your ears and the top of your head, and they’re light enough to wear for hours.

Battery life – I’m used to buds, so I think seven hours on ANC is top of the range. These things well surpass that, since the batteries are much bigger.

Sound quality – I’m not an audiophile so I can’t go into detail about soundstages or AptX or whatever. But I know when a pair of headphones sound awful or mediocre, and these are neither of those. I like the sound when using them for music. It’s as good as my trusty Sennheiser 206s. I’m happy.

Latency – I’m not a gamer but if the lag on a console with these is as bad as the half second I often get from these when watching movies, you might want to avoid. I’m usually using a laptop hooked up via HDMI to a second screen though, so maybe that’s a factor. Either way, sometimes an English language film will be like watching a dubbed Bruce Lee from the 70s, which is quite annoying.

Case – Lovely hard case, sturdy but light. The headphones fold over slightly to fit it.

Value for money – These were only 60 Euros, which is obviously more than my 206s, but the 206s have a three metre cord instead of Bluetooth, so you can’t go to the loo without taking them off first. Denied!

Noise cancelling – They certainly cancel noise, but surprisingly not as well as my Soundcore P3i buds. They have more modes on the app than the P3i though, so maybe I need to experiment a little more. They quiet the noise of a busy street and they soften the yapping of my Jack Russell, but occasionally I hear stuff leak through. For the price though, they’re very good. I’d recommend getting the P3is as well though, they’re often on sale.

Overall – Yeah, another good product from Anker. It’s a brand I’m starting to trust. I strayed to Edifier last time and I regretted it. (Don’t buy those TWS1 Pro 2 things – they’ll cut your ears and the battery life is like 4 hours)

Before buying these headphones, I did extensive research to ensure that I bought the best head phones for my budget. I wouldn’t say that I’m picky when it comes to headphones, I just wanted a pair of headphones that were comfortable and had good sound quality. And these were an absolutely amazing choice! I were deciding between these and the trending ‘Sony’ headphones, and after a lot of YouTube videos, I concluded that though the Sony pair may be slightly better, the soundcore q30s were definitely a better choice when it comes to the price. Let’s be honest, they basically do the same thing but the Sony pair cost 200 more!! I think my favourite part of these headphones is the app that comes with it: it allows you to change the sound depending one what genre of music you are listening to and it just sounds so much better! It also comes with sleepy sounds (hard to explain but very relaxing). I truly do love these headphones, they are so comfortable and I have worn them for hours at a time without hurting my ears! A long lasting battery wasn’t one of my main concerns when purchasing (as I have an apple phone that dies every 5 minutes i’m pretty accustomed to it), but oh my goodness it is brilliant! I genuinely don’t think that they have ever ran out of charge while using, it just makes the experience x10 better when you’re not concerned about battery percentage. And if you’re concerned about these headphones connecting to an apple phone, I wouldn’t worry. They connect with such ease and I’ve never had a problem. Just use Bluetooth and you should be fine. Obviously they wont connect as seamlessly as Apple products, but this is not surprise to me and their connectivity is great. The noise cancelling feature is also terrifyingly amazing! Once again, when first buying I wasn’t very concerned about how good the ANC was, but now that I have used it, it is so so good! I would not class these headphones as ‘budget headphones’, as they are absolutely amazing quality and offer amazing features. If you’re like me and not overly bothered about fancy features that more expensive headphones may offer, I would seriously recommend these. Have a great day!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersAbsurdly good for the price - an easy choice for anyone who doesn't want to spend £200
I had a pair of Sennheiser ANC headphones for a few years which I was happy enough with until I had a call with a friend who was using her new headphones for the call – and I couldn’t believe the call quality. I asked her about her phones and she started raving about how amazing they were. When I looked them up I couldn’t believe how cheap they were.

I bought a pair and they were an upgrade from my 200+ Sennheisers (admittedly these were years older) in every way. The comfort, sound quality, battery life, ANC and so on are all excellent – it seems from other reviews not quite the equal of the current 200+ top of the range, but that’s to be expected. I use them on train commutes, on planes, to filter out noisy kids when I need to work and to listen in bed when I can’t sleep and don’t want to disturb my partner, and they just work.

I particularly appreciate that they both can be used with and come with a 3.5mm cable – I don’t use this often but it is helpful to hook up to the preamp on my guitar when I want to practice quietly. It’s surprising how many occasions have come up where being able to use 3.5mm has been very handy.

If you want some decent ANC phones and don’t want to break the bank, buy them – whether it’s for yourself or as a gift. It’s a super easy recommendation, 5 star product, if only every product range had such an amazing low cost hero.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGreat value for money
These are a massive improvement over low-end headphones. They are my first pair that have ANC and bluetooth and both are absolute godsends. I love not having to deal with a wire and I was very impressed by how effective ANC is (I was sceptical about how effective the technology would be beforehand). Even the passive sound isolation (the amount of sound that passes through when the headphones are turned off) is much better than with my cheaper pair. It’s not completely perfect, but better than I was expecting.

The sound quality is fine, but I don’t consider it notably superior to my old pair or anything. I used to think that the sound quality would be worse over a bluetooth connection, but it’s totally fine. It’s nice how there’s an EQ feature in the app though that allows you to change the volumes of the frequencies of what you’re listening to. Playing about with that like you’re a DJ when listening to a song can be fun.

As for the build quality, I’ve found them very comfortable. However, after nine months the fabric around the foam started to tear away. They were still comfortable though, and the earcups are actually replaceable which I didn’t find out until recently. After buying replacement earcups for about 10 from Amazon, they’re like new again. The attached pictures are what they looked like after thirteen months of daily use, followed by what they looked like after replacing the earcups.

Overall, they’re great for the price and a massive improvement over cheap low-end headphones. For me, it was great to find how much I enjoy bluetooth and ANC. I don’t see any reason to get a different pair of headphones after getting these, except maybe for slightly better ANC.

I’m amazed at how much Bluetooth headphones have improved since my last pair. I did a lot of research before buying and believe these are the absolute sweet-spot for price and performance. A little bass-heavy for me out of the box, this can be tuned to your liking using the app and sound amazing once you get them how you like them. Connection seems to be rock-solid and noise cancellation is genuinely impressive, if not quite the best money can buy. There are three presets for noise cancelling based on the environment but passive noise isolation is pretty good so I rarely need it when also playing music as I hear very little of the extremal activity, and if I need to connect with my surroundings it’s as simple as touching the right-hand can and external sounds are relayed to the ear in a surprisingly clear and natural way. The semi-hard case is a nice bonus and should protect from all but the most serious accidents. All in all I’m extremely impressed at what you get for the price and the battery life is just insane. I’m a fan.

    M2 Mac and iPhone perspective
In my humble opinion these are really great headphones. To summarise the key reasons I like them are as follows:
    Noise Cancelling works well
    Good connectivity
    Good sound
    Confortable

    Noise Cancelling-
There are three modes, normal, transparent and noise cancelling. Transparent seems to be as if you were wearing open back headphones, normal gives some dampening of external sound and noise cancellation(NC) significantly reduces external noise. My experience is that the NC removes a lot of the lower frequency or booming out of external noise. This has been very effective against my noisy neighbour and has been a game changer when it comes to conference calls (more on this below)

    Good connectivity–
It works across all my devices (iMac, iphone, Macbook Pro) at least those that I use frequently. The iMac I use for work but I like to listen to music from my iPhone while working. I found I can pair the soundcore headphones with both and it seems to work sensibly, i.e. no frustration of the wrong device connecting and having to unpair and repair. I also tried them as the sound output in Studio One DAW and they worked with no issues there, although it is important to note that for recording they are no good due to the latency which seems to be inherent in all bluetooth headphones. However for listening back to previously recorded tracks it works fine. I like to do this while working and when there is an incoming call on the iMac the music from the macbook is replaced by the incoming Teams call audio, which is exactly what I would want. On closing the call the music resumes (although it doesn’t pause the DAW. The play/pause button on the earphone will not control the DAW transport controls, but would instead open Apple music app).

    Good sound–
This is obviously subjective, but I haven’t altered the EQ (available in the soundcore app) from the default, and it gives a good rounded balance across all frequencies (IMO). I probably wouldn’t use these for mixing but for everyday listening I find the sound quality is impressive.

    Comfort–
These are one of the most comfortable pair of over-ear headphones I’ve tried (and I’ve owned a few). They don’t squeeze my ears (again this is subjective) and I don’t find myself adjusting the position of the headband to avoid soreness which I have had to do with some previous sets. I have worn these for many hours at a time during work so far and they are comfy.

    Summary–

I’m very impressed with these especially at the price. For me this was a bit of a price hike from what I would usually pay for ‘non professional’ headphones but they are worth what I paid for and more.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBudget Friendly Noise Cancelling Headphones
The Soundcore Life Q30 is Anker’s offering in the mid-tier headphone market. Catering to budget-conscious consumers, these headphones pack a decent array of features, many of which can be typically found in pricier competitors.

    Pros:

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): The Q30 offers multi-mode active noise cancellation, which is quite effective given its price range. While it may not entirely compete with high-end headphones, it definitely reduces ambient noise to a noticeable degree and allows me to have a comfortable night sleep

Battery Life: An impressive battery life ensures you won’t be reaching for the charger too often. The headphones can last up to 40 hours with ANC on and even longer with ANC off.

Sound Quality: For its price point, the Q30 delivers decent sound. Mids and highs are clear, and while bass might be a tad emphasized, it’s not overpowering.

Comfort: The ear cups are plush and designed for longer listening sessions.

App Customization: The Soundcore app allows you to customize the EQ and switch between ANC modes, adding an extra layer of personalization.

    Cons:

Build Quality: While it’s decent for the price, don’t expect premium materials all around. There are more plastic components, which, though durable, may not feel as premium.

ANC: Although the ANC is decent, it might not be on par with high-end models in the market, there is also a touch based transparency mode which seems to trigger very easily so not the best solution for side sleepers or people who move around in sleep(Like myself).

Sound Profile: While the sound is generally good, audiophiles might find it not flat or neutral enough for their tastes. The bass can mostly overshadows the mids and highs.

If I was on a budget I would not be satisfied with these, but as I’m not on budget these were a good price but not everything was up to my standard.
1 sound was good and the app made a lot of difference to how I like it
2 the buttons are well placed and easy to use once remembered where each was
3 the noise cancelling I could still hear the tv while watching a film on my iPad.
4 the noise cancelling button offered three choices, normal hearing, enhanced sound both from the outside mics and total noise cancelling.
5 the blue tooth pairing is better than most and latency was word perfect
So am I pleased well I normally use my Bose with NC and they totally cut out the noise, but the cost difference is a lot. So if you budget is small these are one of the better headphones, would I buy again if they’re all I could afford then the answer is yes and that would be 5 stars

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Users4.0 out of 5 stars Really good inexpensive headphones
So, I have had these for two years. I bought them in June 2021, and they’ve held up really well for the price.

Before I get into it I would like to say at the time of purchase I had done my research both on here and on YouTube. I can’t remember exactly the specifics types that were used to compare. But these were the best to buy without completely breaking the bank. I’m not a techy person nor am I knowledgeable on music terms.

    Pros:
When I first bought this the sound of the base was astronomically better than my skullcandy earphones.

I love the customisation of sound type and noise cancellation: the ability to switch between indoor, outdoor and transport, transparency or normal.

The battery life is about 12 hours but in short bursts the battery life can last up to 3-6 days in use and not used 5-10 days.

The charger used is USBC making so that it can be charged with longer leads not just the one that came with it.

The fact that you can connect to two devices at the same time is insane, I used this with my phone and iPad and it works perfectly just make sure to pause on the other device.

Due to it being active noise cancelling you don’t need the music too high either, you become oblivious to the outside world.

I can wear these for hours and never feel a dull ache or pain, ear ache is no more.

    Cons:

Over the last two years I have noticed a decline in sound quality, the base feels shallow and the sound comes out almost muffled. The clarity of the music and the quality might not be the same as it was before but the experience isn’t hindered by it.

I’ve also noticed the left ear cushion has lifted and the cover is coming off, again this is not an issue for me.

Overall, the headphones are amazing still. I’ve taken a star off just because the sound quality has dropped over time and that the cushion is coming off. Everything I have stated is my personal opinion I do recommend still doing extensive research both on here and elsewhere. These might not be the best to buy in 2023 or 2024 anymore but for someone who just wants an inexpensive product that can rival brands like Sony, Bose, Skullcandy, and JBL then by all means by this.

Maybe in the next sale I’ll get the Q45.

For the price (get it when discounted) you can’t go wrong. I only want these for travel (ie planes!) but so glad I got them. Only slight loss of star is that I have them on the smallest (I have a normal sized head ) and would like more option to tighten as I’m not sure how they would fair if you decide to use them for exercise

For the price, great headphones and very good sound. I do like Bass on my headphones and earphones, and these matched what I was after.
What I do like about them as well is that you can still use the aux connection if you are wanting to use them with an older device, obviously, just lose the noise cancelling function. So all round, very good and would recommend.

I had this impression that all good noise cancelling headphones had to cost a lot more than these, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good these headphones are, so much so that I bought another two pairs for the family!

The noise cancelling was very effective when flying and got rid of all the outside noise and allowed me to focus on the music and not the noisy fellow passengers and their children!

    Definitely recommend these

4.0 out of 5 stars Reasonable specs for price
These headphones were bought for around 60 and for that price they are fine. Playing around with the graphic equaliser can give a nice although not brilliant sound. The main disappointment is the noise cancellation or lack of. Even using the dedicated app outside interfere is noticeable and annoying. I bought these as a stop gap after the battery life on my more expensive ear buds has become drastically reduced. Positives are that the sound quality is reasonably good and they’re extremely easy to plug and play with iPhone, iPad & tv. The only negative is that I would prefer better noice cancellation although it might be adequate for others and also you have to be realistic about expectations at this price point.
I was generally impressed with the product for the price paid.

The most positive quality of these headphones would be how comfortable they are. The padding on the speakers themselves and at the top of the headphones make it so you can wear them for hours without a headache. When it comes to consumer electronics I normally shy away from lesser known brands, but I took a punt a while ago on a portable Anker speaker so when I decided I need a new set of headphones, these caught my eye. As my head is on the larger side, I was pleased to see reviews that indicated that this would not be an issue for me, and so far they are comfortable to wear on their own, or over a baseball cap & both with and without wearing glasses. As far as the sound quality goes, I’m mainly listening to hard rock & metal mp3s and streams on the go, so quality is as good as it needs to be and meets my needs. For the price, these were a great buy and once again I’m impressed by Anker.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME HEADPHONES!!! You don't have to spend big to get quality!
I’m going to compare these Soundcore Anker Q30 with my new obsolete Bose Q25 headphones.

Let’s start by saying you don’t need to spend on a wicked pair of headphones. These Anker Q30 have exceeded my expectations by far and compared to the Bose, blow them out the water.

For 53 these Anker Q30 are ridiculously good for the price range. Remember, you’re paying for the name on the expensive stuff.

The sound quality is better than the Bose, especially with the app, which you can change the frequencies.

The Active Nosie cancellation is brilliant. The Bose also has great NC. There’s no sacrifice in quality just because these headphones are cheaper.

The fit, in my opinion is better, as there’s less pressure on the ear area, the cups fit much better over the ear. The cushioning on the head band is far superior than the Bose.

The actual build quality for 53 is noticeable better too. They feel well built and robust.

Anker Q30 is a fantastic choice if you want top quality without the silly price!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Headphones- just buy them, stop messing about.
I’ve been looking for some good over ear Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones for a while. Obviously I wanted Bose but not prepared to pay 250 for them.

In all my research, these headphones kept coming up as the top rated under 100. For 53, they are a right bargain, absolutely top class. The EQ needs adjusting on the app as default is bass heavy (which is really easy) but once done, feck me, they are belting. The noise cancelling is brilliant, much better than I thought it would be and the sound quality is immense.

These are as good if not better than my music studio pro level Sennheisers which cost a fortune. Made up with them. Bought them primarily to wear on a plane and I’m 100% certain with the noise cancelling I won’t hear anything else but music or video. If they are on offer, just buy them. You, like me, will think they are a steal!

I’m unfortunately a frequent user of buses. In my particular city pot holes are the theme which can make it sound as if your traveling over a WW1 battlefield. Bus users themselves add to the experience by watching as many videos as they can with no headphones on with the loudest volume possible; making phone calls in the loudest voices possible.

Then one day I purchase Soundcore noise cancelling headphones. Activating the sound cancelling was like a revelation – the same level of awakening I get when listening to the 2001 A Space Odyssey theme – trully a new world. You will never get a complete silence but it was night and day. The quality of sound is excellent – the battery life impressive when a full charge is complete – added bonus, at work, the presence of such intimidating headphones means that no attempt is made at small talk in the staff room.

    Worth every penny.

I love these headphones, can’t recommend them enough.
They are super comfy for extended listening, the sound isolation is more than adequate and the sound quality I find excellent. There is also a great app with the headphones to shape the EQ (this makes a huge difference to the sound as you can tailor the sound profile to different musical genres).
When I bought these I was considering some Bose or Sony’s (about 4 times the price) but I have been really happy with these. I’ve not owned the higher price Bose or Sony ones but when I tried them in a store I didn’t notice much difference to the Soundcore Q30.
I’d buy them again in a heartbeat.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding low cost blutooth noise cancelling headphones
Been using these for a couple of weeks after seeing them recommended in the comments of another set of more expensive headphones I was considering. I was looking for something with half decent sound quality and a closed back. Noise cancelling was an added bonus.

Other reviews here don’t seem very complementary of the noise cancelling, but I have to say compared to my other more expensive pair I keep at work these are stellar. When you have ANC turned on they’ve been effective at cancelling out everything from heavy rainstorms, the washing machine across the room and my wife coming home from work and talking to me. without me seeing. The transparent and normal modes are not vastly different from one another, but there’s a bit more sense of what’s going on around you with transparency on than with a normal closed cup set – particularly at the high end.

Sound quality is fine. They’re not studio quality, but for the price you wouldn’t expect them to be. They produce a decent clean open sound. Out of the box they have a pleasant sound balance – plenty enough bass, mids and highs. The high end of the mids could be a bit more lively, but they’re fine. For the price I’d say they were outstanding.

I’m not a huge fan of the buttons on the cups – particularly the transparency control which is essentially a touch control on the middle of the left cup -but they’re liveable.

Overall, very pleased. If you want a decent set of flexible headphones for the office or watching TV or something give them a go.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our Users4.0 out of 5 stars Souncore Q30
Out of the box it is advisable to install the Android app/ iOS app, (this review is on Android using Poco F3, MIUI 14.0.9/ Android 13).

For 1st use set up a custom EQ with EVERYTHING set to 0-DB, (The reason is the default setting is boosting too much low end bass… Hence sound reviews advising too bassy).

Once you’ve done this you can now hear the true sound of the headphones, which is a very high standard (the test is via Bluetooth v5.2).

In regards to sound on any speakers, a bad original source i.e. 128kb MP3. will sound bad regardless you can just hear more clearly how bad the audio file is on higher quality speaker/ headphones. (It’s the equivalent of having a 4KTV, playing a 480p video file then complaining about the picture)!

    Now that’s out the way…

Bluetooth connection: Stable & no connection issues. (For those have an issue… It’s YOUR phone or connected devices, troubleshoot b4 blaming the headphones, learn how Android OS works it’s a computer in yr hand so it does need to be maintained & used properly to get the most out of it as with any product)

Sound Performance: All supported codecs work very well, tested with uncompressed wave files, VLC internet streaming & Mixcloud app).

Soundcore App: Overall it’s a nicely designed interface, simple to use.
There are minor issues with the EQ sliders when adjusting the steps to incriminate up/ down when trying to find tune by +1 DB/ -1 DB. It will just need some tweaking by the app development team to make it a better response when a slider has focus.
A simple fix would be to add a button to adjust the EQ levels up/ down when the slider a user wants to change has focus (i.e. has been tapped).

More EQ bands should be added for more fine tuning which could be activated under an ‘Advanced’ setting.

Controls: No issues with hardware physical buttons.

    NFC Pairing: No issues.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price!
I would like to start off by saying that these headphones came with their own hard case to carry them around in which was a big bonus as I would like to take them to university with me and I needed something reliably solid to carry them in. The build quality and the sound quality of the headphones is amazing (definitely beyond my expectations). They have an app where you can custom EQ the headphones to your liking (for example I personally like slightly boost to the bass) and surprisingly these headphones have a really good sounding bass! They frequently get discounted which is why I would definitely recommend you to wait a decent perhaps 20%-30% off discount before buying them as although they would definitely be worth their full price you can pretty much wait a bit and get them for an unfairly good price! (that’s what I did). I have no complains about the battery life yet however I have not used them long enough for that so I wont comment on that aspect.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars These are AMAZING
First of all, these headphones are FANTASTIC!! During the prime day sale I was so indecisive between getting the Sony or Bose headphones, but when I took another look at the cheaper ones I saw these had really great reviews!
I’m not an audiophile or enthusiast by any means, I just want something that plays music and can connect to my laptop/Xbox to play my games with in the evening. And this does that and more! My AirPods were dying after two years and an accidental drowning in my washing machine, so I wanted something different that wouldn’t cost me as much.

There are many different versions of the soundcore headphones to choose from, e.g. Q20s, 30, 35, 45. But I watched a few reviews and I went with these, and I am so glad I did! Audio is crisp, clear and Bluetooth connectivity is so simple, it immediately connected to my phone. Plus, they are insanely comfortable. I was worried because I’ve had previous experiences where headphones give me headaches by pressing on my glasses, but so far I’ve worn these for hours and no issues!!

The noise cancelling is OK. It’s not the sorta level you’re gonna get with the more expensive brands, but it works! Microphone is also Ok. Nothing mind blowing, but again you’re paying a great price for something worth it. Have only had these a couple hours so can’t comment on much else, but when I go on holiday next year I am looking forward to seeing how they measure up on the plane

Golden Review Award: 56 From Our UsersAlmost Perfect But 5* Anyway
I’ve been trying to find the best headset for quite some time. Out of 9 headsets I’ve bought recently that’s 9 returns and that included the Soundcore q20. Now after purchasing this headset I am very happy.

Note my experience will differ from yours, hopefully it won’t and you will be extremely satisfied.

Also these are that good my household of four now have one each. All of which who love them, if they made them for the dog I would have gotten him some just for the anc alone, he must be sick of hearing fetch.

    Cons
There is only one con for me, they removed the option of using ANC when wired, this Soundcore have removed from product description after realising you simply can’t mislead customers, but review sites still show this which they haven’t contacted reviewers to remove and it is littered all over their forums with backlash. Anker haven’t responded and haven’t reversed their decision. Which is ridiculous imo and bad customer service. Makes them untrustworthy imo.

    Pro’s

Accessories: These come with a hard carry case which also includes a usb type c charging cable and a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can still use your headset wired if your battery runs out, iOS users who have a lightning port can buy a adapter that converts your lightning port to use a 3.5mm jack.

Comfort: The soundcore q20s where excellent for comfort and these are no exception they just took it that bit further and after a few hours of listening you get the odd oh I need to move these slightly but that’s it, the rest of the time it’s extremely comfortable.

ANC: It works and delivers an exceptional experience, everything I wanted ANC deliver wirelessly works, transparency mode also gives you the advantage of hearing the world around you and speak to others whilst having a conversation with someone else around you. The full on ANC mode is exceptional it blocked for me literally everything around me.

Sound Quality: Another reason to keep these it just delivers massive audio quality where it is imo for a headset I only paid 55.99 for packs a punch and is crystal clear. People keep saying they aren’t Bose headsets or Sonys. I’ve never owned either but I have listened to them in stores and they are exceptional quality, but being crucially honest the price difference and quality out of these does scream Buy the Q30s why wouldn’t you!

App: that excellent sound quality just goes one step further, the amount of presets you can change in the app is extremely welcome, but you can also change to a custom equaliser and you can edit away to your hearts content and find the perfects mids, bass etc to what you want.

NFC: Easy pairing for Android users with NFC. I’m a iOS user primarily so this I never tried, but it’s a handy feature to have, simply use nfc to tap on the headset and you should be able to pair the device rather quickly.

Ports and buttons: USB type C charging, which when your battery is getting low you can get a substantial amount of life back into these from so little time. USB Type C port is always welcome moving forward as we try to move away from Micro usb.

The buttons are the device has been criticised by some reviewers online as not being ideal, but I would contest this and say I prefer the click of a button opposed to gestures and the placements are perfectly fine. There is also a hidden sort of gesture button hidden on the right ear cuff so you can cycle through noise cancelling modes, but at the same time this can be a downside if your stretching a knock the gesture/hidden button it can be annoying.

I paid 55.99 which is a really good steal, they do go and retail now for around the 79.99 and even then it’s around the right price and is worth the money. Hence the reason for 5* Without the price point and knowing the distrust on the forums I would have to give 4*

Do think Anker need to respond to removing features from the headset that were their at launch and not use the whole “it improves sound quality” and review sites still advertise these features so damage control isn’t their either. Simply giving customers options to use which firmware they would prefer with wired and or wireless only and then being able to judge the sound quality accordingly should be a fairer outcome.

    Very good
Wasn’t sure what to expect, but went for this mid price pair on a recommendation rather than 250 Sony product. Easy to set up, great sound quality from my cheap phone and remarkable sound cancelling. Only pair I’ve tried, but delighted.

    Pretty good
Good sound quality. Just don’t expect the noise cancelling to give silence. I can still hear conversations just slightly muffled

    Best headphones I've ever had
Bought these to replace Sony headphones that stopped working. Sound quality is fantastic, as is the noise cancellation. I use these daily at work to cancel out office noise and for Teams meetings. Then I use them at home for watching films. Also very impressed by the battery life and it feels like it takes a long time to go from High to Medium.

Excellent sounds quality and noise cancellatio
I don’t often write reviews but wanted to for these headphones as they are so good! I’m a musician and very noise sensitive. These headphones are so calming and work so well that even in central London, I feel more relaxed. The only danger is maybe getting run over due to being so in my own world. Fantastic to cancel out the car noise from outside my house and also for a relaxing journey on public transport. Highly recommend.

    Amazing produc
Nouce Cancellation is alright for the price point, but the sound quality is phenomenal and at this price point it leaves nothing to complain about it.

    Wow
I absolutely love these and for 60 odd you cant go wrong.
In the past I have had: Bose, B&O, B&W all broke almost to the day once the warranty had expired, if these done the same so what, I can afford 60 not the100’s I spent on the others.

Frequently disconnect in the middle of a call
Having it for a month now. The good thing about it is the noise Cancelation is working well. The not good is the life battery is not good as many other headphones that I have, somehow may be it roughly reach to 40h as the ads, even not in use condition. And the annoying thing about it is it keeps disconnecting one in a while, we have to manually reconnect again and it works again. So no suitable for important meetings.

These make those tough gym sessions hit different. The noise cancellation helps you zone into what ever your doing if that’s blasting Lewis Capaldi for a heavy set or listening to some mellow tunes whilst bashing out some work. These are just built different, had them a week now and have dropped them hard a few times in the gym and they haven’t broke or got any damage. Battery life is almost so good it’s a flaw.

    Definitely worth the price!
    Sound quality is great
Battery life amazing with quick charge
    Price = Worth it
Noise cancellation is good considering the price.
Have tried beats studio 3 before, Definitely better than beats in every aspect.

    Great headphones
I’ve never had decent headphones before so getting these was really exciting for me. Nowadays, cheap, unhealthy headphones cost 20, 30 pounds; decent ones are 70 to 150 like these, and really good ones are 200 plus like Beats or Bose. These headphones are super comfy, have good sound quality, and have reasonable noise cancelling capacity (though not perfect). I highly recommend them to anyone looking for good headphones that are not extreme in price and do the main job.
