This game is a great purchase for anyone who is into the 1st person starfighter experience like I am. Great for any Star Wars fans, with a range of every classic fighter from the loved films. Short campaign, but great to just play over. The multiplayer is also pretty cool, and it’s great to play with friends.
Been waiting for this for 20 years since growing up on the old XWing vs TIE Fighter and XWing Alliance games. Does not disappoint at all.
No micro transactions at all, and there has been a bunch of unexpected additional free content since launch including new ships. Player concerns about bugs and balance have been fixed as well. Top effort, well worth it, even at 40
I grew up playing X-Wing on a 486 and have struggled to get that same feeling in anything more modern. Playing that old game now is hard though because of the reliance on a 2 button joystick and use of the whole keyboard.
This game gives me a similar feeling, the controls are simpler but in a good way, and it’s usable with an xbox controller although I would like to get the Thrustmaser Hotas for it.
I’m a few missions in and I enjoy it. The graphics are phenomenal (I’m on a Series S) and the feeling of space flight is excellent. I’ve not played multiplayer, I don’t think I’m really good enough for it but I’m enjoying the story mode and training missions where I can summon up whatever enemy I fancy going up against.
I bought it for about 7 through a combination of black Friday deals and Microsoft points. IT was totally worth that, and I think I would justify up to about 20 for it as I’m not interested in multiplayer.
I have heard the story mode is short, I would love to see add ons in the future.
It is an EA game and that comes with all the downfalls you would usually expect
It does not Quick Resume very well on Xbox Series S at current, but doesn’t take long to load from scratch either.
Amazing storyline, cant believe that admiral Akbar was an Ewok in a mon calamari costume the whole time….
My 12 year old loves star wars has another game like this and said it was great to play.
He enjoyed this one too.

Bought for my son he loves it. Not had a chance to have a go myself.
