We have bought Several of these. We have had a couple of them for over a year………..Still working great……..The cameras are great…ESPECIALLY for the money…….We did run into a problem setting one up–NO problem–Robin in their tech support was fantastic- he walked me right through it. We have bought 5-6 of these , one of which did have a faulty part. I could have returned to Amazon but it was so easy to get the part from the seller that I chose to do that. We are very pleased and will purchase more.
Camera is used for home security. My wife loves her cameras PTZ etc
This is my second PTZ, one for the front riverside and the other for the forest in the back. We were surprised at all the activity that goes on outside during the evening hours. Just last week we zoomed in on trespassers swimming nude in front of our house. You just don’t see that everyday, but with this camera, all is revealed.
Night vision NOT GOOD pretty much useless. Day time GOOD

I have only had the camera installed for a few days but am very impressed so far. The picture is clear and the zoom exceeded my expectations. It is my first PTZ camera so I have no history to compare it with, but it was a little noisier than I expected even when sitting idle the first couple days but it seems less noisy now. I only wish that I had known how good this camera was a couple years ago before I bought a costly surveillance system w/ multiple fixed cameras. 2 or 3nof these cameras could replace that whole system and cover a broader viewing area and be less expensive.
On the plus side its great outdoors. For over a year mine has been about 300ft from the ocean, in full sun, and no problems. I use it on preset positions and it moves fast.
The SUNBA camera has performed well. The clarity of the field is very good. The zoom is impressive.
As of this writing, I’m satisfied with this camera.

Absolutely awesome worked just as described but I did run into the issue of a loss of power over the 100 ft line so you either have to run power directly out to the location for the cameras transformer to be plugged in to directly or you can put in a 120VAC to 24VAC transformer to push over the line and then convert it and step it down by putting in a 24VAC to 12VAC 1.5-2Amp converter to plug in the camera for power to solve the issue this is what I did. If your not Comfortable have your electrician install a GFI outlet near your camera so that you can plug in directly

I like this camera, although unsure about the motion detection it serves my purpose admirably .
Easy to set up. All the connections were clearly labeled, so it was simple to connect. The instructions are in English, a big help for me, a newbie to PZT cameras. A big advantage for me is that the vertical tilt is -5 +90. Another camera I tried claimed to have 0 to 90 degree tilt, but it was more like +5 to +90 degrees, which left a huge blind spot in my application. So far, all I have done is to bench test. Pan, tilt, zoom, and auto focus all worked fine. Have not yet checked night vision. I am still waiting for components needed for my specific application, so it will remain on the bench until everything else is built and ready to install. Could be a month or so until the system is finished.

other then the night vision doesnt focus as clear as it does in the day light but zoom in just a little and the picture is way sharper then zoomed out all the way. very impressive camera can honestly say it’s worth every penny that I spent. wish it had a wide area of view but cant be to picky just set up a tour and you field of view is as big as you want..
Best security camera in my DVR. Now I need to figure out how to use multiple PTZ cameras with my DVR so I can buy another one.
Maybe a POE NVR would have been a better solution, but I already had a BNC setup. and so I bought a new BNC BVR with better cameras, and this camera. So I have some old cameras, some new cameras, and this “egg” – and this egg is nice.

I had a spare surveillance system lying around for quite some time to have as a spare in case my present one decided to die on me. The old DVR could only handle four cameras while the replacement can handle eight. This was my excuse to add more cameras to surveille our school’s maintenance building and its surroundings. We had added a new gas tank and found out shortly after that some gasoline was already “borrowed”.
I aimed one of our existing cameras at the tank and because of its distance, the only details that could be recognized was the color of a vehicle, but not the make or who may be the driver. I knew I needed a camera with high magnification to see the details of the fuel tank, but would also be capable of a more broader field of view to encompass the tank’s surroundings.
I saw that even my budget system had RS485 output for a PTZ camera. The reason I picked the Sunba was because of a combination of price and favorable reviews. If either the camera or the system failed, I wasn’t out too much money.
The review that had a picture of a sign from a long distance and then from the camera under full zoom was amazing.
The included instructions were clear, concise and not in the “English” I’m used to seeing on a lot of budget items that come from overseas.
I chose to use two separate cables to install this camera. I used an RG6 for the video and a shielded 18 gauge 4 conductor cable for the two pairs of wires I needed for the camera. The instructions suggested using a cat5 Ethernet cable, but I felt better using a heavier gauge wire for the distance between my camera and DVR.
Did it work the first time I turned it on? Well, of course it did! Will I be purchasing another Sunba PTZ camera in the near future?

I needed to replace a PTZ camera on an old analog video system. This one works great. I had a problem getting the RS-485 serial communication going. The tech support was very helpful in solving the problem, gave excellent advice.

This item arrived on time, exactly as described and easy to instal.
Tilt must be pushed up manually for full range viewing. After power up lense must be pushed up manually to see full up position. Will work fine till next power up unless looking down full range. Then must be pushed up manually again. I like to see some of the sky at times. Default up position is about 10 degrees down.
I want to thank Albert, I thought I had Camera, but he right away new what the issue was, he help me get the correct wiring for my camera and he kept in contact until I got working. I GIVE 100 FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT
The PTZ Camera, is very powerful in Zoom and clear its vision but you have to follow the manual procedures when installing.
Also I have had a few technical and mechanical issues. I have 8 total cameras. bound to get a hiccup once in a while. But when I email SUNBA Tech support (by email), they have always responded promptly. Helped me with setting up the camera and security software. Also took care of warranty issues.
I’m a small business owner with a small budget. These cameras and SUNBA DVR takes care of both my security and my budget. Thanks
I now have 2 of these. They are well built, well priced, pan tilt and are solid and smooth. Resolution is very good and night vision is unbelievable. I highly recommend.
For me this camera is perfect. I only use it during the daytime and it works exceptionally well for this. I did however notice that it does not pan tilt or zoom with my set up at night. (That might be a deal breaker for most people.)
I got this for a Swann 8 camera unit. It works really good. Make sure to plug the camera into Channel 1. Only channel one can operate the ptz controls. The quality of the image is really good even when zoomed in really far at night.
I reviewed and searched many products and questioned specific items and techniques. The Sunba Tech support team guided me a lot and also gave a advice of the other related products so that I installed in my LAB. Excellent!
Update: Spoke with tech support and the issue of intermittent PTZ or No PTZ was resolved. Apparently if your power source is of significant length, the voltage drop across the wire (100ft) will have adverse effects on the PTZ function. In my defense, 100ft power/signal wires that are sold as related products is standard. There should have been a caution/warning/note regarding exceeding a certain amount of distance of the power source to the camera. all in all, I am very happy with my camera.
Overall the PTZ camera is good. One issue is it got stuck in the full up position. I found a comment about loose belt so I checked it out. Found no loose belt however after putting side back on the camera is back to working great. Awesome zoom. Great focus, and pan is quick. All in all it is a great value for a PTZ camera and I have shared it with my security conscious (paranoid) friends.

Great camera. The clarity is great, l can even read yard signs five houses away at night in total darkness. I have been using it for over a month now and l have not one negative to say about it. My house is at the end of the street and l can tell what kind of car is at the other end of the street 1/4 mile away. One problem l had with installation was the transformer that it came with would not operate the camera even after following all directions. The only way l could get it to work was by using one of the other transformers on my DVR. The transformer that came with the camera works with my other cameras but not with this one.

Great camera! We needed one that can provide a slight upward look and this does the trick.
Installed on a 50′ tower at work, easy to control and the zoom is great, I can easily read people’s baseball caps at 150′.

Very nice unit. I wish the IR LED output could be adjusted though. Since I am powering it off a 60 foot cable if the LEDs are on at night I lose the pan and tilt function. I could use a local PS but it really hasn’t been a problem. I am also using the Sunba 3x unit.
Great camera, easy to setup and picture quality is wonderful. The only feature I think is missing is auto-tracking but I understand for the price that isn’t possible.
I shall re: review once I get to test the device.
Really, pleased with this device, in comparator to the other cameras I have it is has the sharpest image of all of them, with really vivid colours I’ve found the customer service to be really helpful and professional. They were more than willing to assist me with set up and troubleshooting controller issues. All round thumbs up.
