I realised after I bought it, I’d bought the wrong colour, but it’s great, definitely recommend.
The bin looks and works very well, although the bin is easily dented. So handle with care.
Great addition to the kitchen and a lot easier to empty and clean. Really like the fact it opens when your near to put rubbish in.

This is my second bin. The last one lasted a long time ( my son had 3 of a different brand in the same time) .
I think the quality is good and despite other reviews I really rate this product. You have a 2 year guarantee so what’s not to like.
Love these retro items colour teams up with our grey gloss kitchen. Also love the sensor for open close our grandson is learning to be tidy so ideal for kids. I also love the fact that you don’t need to open and close the bin.
Looks great in the kitchen. Opens and closes automatically with no problems. Putting in a new bag can be a little fiddly at times, but am very happy with this.
We haven’t found the sensor too sensitive .

Everything great. Bought another one for my parents who find it very useful when you have both hands full. Bag catches on top lip when over full.
Had a problem with the first bin. Contacted seller and they couldn’t have been more helpful. New bin now received within a day or two. Really impressed.
Initially I was worried that it was not working but I investigated the problem on the internet where it was mentioned that post delivery the motor needs to set itself. I followed the guidance and it’s working perfectly. The capacity is bigger than my previous round kitchen bin, yet it looks smaller! I like that it fits flush upto the wall!
Had this item less then 3 months, and is already broken due to a piece of flimsy plastic Snapping so lid no longer automatically opens. Very disappointed as price of the product would suggest it would be long lasting, but doesn’t !!

Bought as a gift to match other swan kitchen items, recipient was well happy, lovely baby blue colour and a nice size, sensor opening lid is a nice feature.
I love this bin, easy to put together and so handy to use and love the fact that I do not have to use a pedal to open or shut, just a small wave at the sensor and that’s it!! Chose the colour to match my other Swan kitchen items and really happy with my purchase, which arrived undamaged in good packing too. Definitely 5 stars!!
Love this. Super cute, the sensor isn’t as responsive as my last one, good as it doesn’t open every time I walk past bad because I’m impatient and takes a while when I actually want it to open. Cest la vie

Previously had another self opening waste bin however after twelve months the mechanism broke, also when removing the bags they always ripped on the metalwork. This waste bin is a more sturdy construction and the bags do not rip open.
I love this bin. I’ve had it a while now and have had no problems with it all. Unfortunately I lost the black insert that keeps the bag in place. I contacted the seller and they got in touch and sent me replacement inserts foc . I was surprised and grateful that there are still some companies out there that offer such swift after sales service thanks Swan.
This looks good but is slightly annoying as the lid closes quite quickly when using it during cooking. Overall good size and design and holds a decent amount, easy enough to empty and clean.

I love this automatic opening bin from Swan. It is a Retro colour of cream, a bit like a good clotted cream. There is nothing I don’t like about it. The only thing that is a problem is that my grandchildren keep playing with it when they visit!
Arrived on time and well packaged, colour matches my other kitchen appliances so I am very pleased.

I’m giving this decent scores, it looks ok, and I imagine it would have done the job perfectly. I had to return it as it simply wasn’t the right colour for our kitchen. It is a ‘strong’ cream colour.
Decent returns service, a little annoying that they can’t use Amazon’s own service and you have to email them directly.
Great looking bin with large capacity. Lid doesn’t always open so have to wave hand in front of it sometimes but I still love it. It’s a talking point with visitors too!
