No issues so far, perfect cheap alternative for game controllers
I bought it as a Christmas gift, however it’s now a month later and I was just told that it won’t now pair up with the person’s switch.

I gifted this controller to a friend and they like it a lot! But just a warning, even though it’s wireless and has Bluetooth, it doesn’t with other devices like an apple ipad.

Bought 2 of these controllers. Both worked fine at first but after only a few days one of them stopped working. No lights come on when it’s plugged in and nothing works. After reading a few reviews this looks like a common issue.

This controller is really good, the buttons are responsive and the sticks dont have stick shift yet. The construction is a bit plasticky but i breeze over that as it is so easy to pair and use. the battery lasts a long time and as it is USB-C it is easy and quick to charge.

This comes in attractive packaging that does a decent job of keeping the contents undamaged.
I have been using this with Windows 8.1 and 10, as well as the Switch.
Lets go through the usual Pros and Cons:
Pro:
Cheap compared to official controllers
Nice design and styling
Decent build quality

Different layout than official pad
Feels ‘cheaper’ to the touch, both the surface texture and the feedback from the controls
Less sensitive that original manufacturer controllers
Not as ergonomic
Not as consistent/accurate
Firstly the D-Pad doesn’t have the solid feel you need for digital control. This general loose/spongy feel was more also present on the sticks. It is not impossible to play well with this, but you will make more mistakes and die more often.
I would still obviously recommend the original pads over these, but if money is tight or your kids are just going to wreck them anyway, then this is an excellent option at under 25. Also good to have as a backup pad in case you want some 2-player fun. (though I have yet to try this).
Connection was simple enough, and on the PC it is an Xinput device. MAME worked fine, as did XBox controller games (although vibration didn’t work for some reason).
For the price this is a decent bit of kit that I can recommend.
Looks and feels good quality. Control response/motion/feedback good.
Robust controller, very easy to connect and set up. Power lasts well on stand by and whilst in use.
Powers down when inactive and lights are appealing, create a nice ‘gaming atmosphere’ and make it easier to see what you are doing in low light conditions.
My daughter likes this and is happy with the layout of the controls, the comfortable grip and gaming performance.

Ho perso un po’ di tempo per la configurazione ma in compenso funziona benissimo considerato che si tratta di un prodotto di concorrenza. Le istruzioni dovrebbero essere pi chiare

J’en ai pris 4 mais vais certainement en prendre plus en rserve.
No vienen instrucciones en castellano y las que vienen en ingls son poco claras por lo que la conexin es algo complicada.
Para realizarla, es necesario activar el bluetooth de la consola y conectar mediante cable el mando. Una vez hecho esto, el mando se conecta de modo inalmbrico, pero la primera vez se necesita el cable.
Es lo que esperabamos. Aunque las imstrucciomes no vienen en espaol, buscamos un tutorial y se sincroniza muy facil. Contentos con la compra

They are great to use; we play rocket league a lot. The grip and feel of the pad are nice. The only annoying thing is the initial setup. But once you are done, you are good to go. I have had them for a couple of weeks, so let’s see how long they last.
Registers to the Switch very simply by plugging it in with a USB-C, no messing around with detecting bluetooth. Once paired, you can unplug it and play as normal. The controller is well built. A minor niggle is that the home button, + and – buttons are not in the same place as the original Nintendo pro controller, but I guess they had to change it to avoid copyright infringements claims. All in all a great value controller.
This is what we used to call a force feedback controller but now they are called dual vibration!
My son in law tells me that it was easy to set up and now he has a controller that is easier for him to use then the little switch controllers that it came with.
He loves the dual vibration and turbo features that help to make the games he plays more immersive.
It only take a couple of hours to recharge and lasts all day before need ing to be plugged back in.
He says that it is very precise and he was genuinely surprised when I told him the price, he thought it would have been more expensive than it actually is! Result, recommended item!
For an unofficial Nintendo controller, this works pretty well and saves a lot of money if you are after just any controller that will work. I feel it’s not built as well as the official controller and does not feel as comfortable in my hands, but I can get use to it, and having an extra controller about is always good.
The controller in general feels good. A lot of unofficial controllers tend to be a lot bulkier than the official version but this feels pretty good. The grips looked fairly rough in the picture but are actually pretty good and not noticeable whilst playing. The buttons let it down a little bit as they feel a bit clunky and not as smooth as an official controller.
Connectivity was straightforward and easy. I used the cable. I have not had it disconnect as a few people have had issues with. Battery life is also good and lasts plenty of time. I do, however, put it to charge after a session so it never runs down completely.
Overall, it’s a good controller. I had not used an unofficial controller for a long time but they seem to have improved massively with time from what I remembered and this fixed a lot of issues I once had with unofficial controllers.

I connected this easily to my Google TV dongle, after holding down the home button until the lights flash then adding it as a controller.
It connected straight away and then just worked to control the menus and games.
The controller has a nice feel in the hands and all the buttons have a good solid feel to them and I don’t even think about it when playing games which is I guess a really good thing.
It auto turns off after a while and turns on again when you start pressing buttons.
The buttons letters are a different order than it shows on the game instructions but it didn’t take much getting used to as you look at the screen not the buttons.
I like the feel of it and I use it all the time now.
I didn’t get on with the tiny switch controllers so didn’t really play it that much, so when I saw this “retro style” controller I knew I’d get on better. After initial setup (following the switch instructions to add a new controller) It’s easy to pair with the switch, when you play it, just press the home button to switch it on then the switch finds the controller and away you go. The controller is nice and sturdy and the buttons are all responsive and familiar. I much prefer to play this way.
Previously had one of these before I got a switch, for PC use. The vibration didn’t work and the control wasn’t as good as using an official Xbox controller, so I couldn’t highly recommend it for PC use.
Using it now on the switch it’s a far superior experience, and one that is pretty good considering the low price point next to an official Nintendo switch Pro controller.
So, what’s the negatives?
– The buttons are a little spongey and loud. This is fine for the games I’m playing (Zelda’s, professor Layton, dungeon of the endless to name a few), but I wouldn’t want to personally play more intense games like shooters, just for my own sanity at the button presses being a touch noisy. But, this is a very minor and personal choice.
– Can’t figure out how to change the vibration levels
– Major negative however is that I haven’t been able to get both controllers to work together. I was using them interchangeably with no issues, but when I came to use both, the older controller has stopped being able to connect, even if no other controllers are connected. Unsure what the issue is. I haven’t knocked a star of for this fault, as the controller for this listing is still working. But I do now need another controller for multiplayer.
Positives
– Home button turns on the console
– Feels good in the hand. Grip texture is light and doesn’t irritate my skin
– Motion control axis works (tested in skyward sword and professor Layton mystery journey)

My five year old little boy needed a controller to use on his switch that didn’t cost the earth but worked the same as official ones. This controller fits the bill perfectly. It is a perfect size for his little hands but also works fine with adult hands too
The controller itself has a different texture on the handle parts which provides a good grip especially when being super eager with games such as mario kart. The battery lasts a good while with no charge needed after an hour or so. It charges quite quickly too.
You connect quite easily, you use the cable at first then it connects wirelessly after that. The buttons all work great with no lagging at all.
Well I was pleasantly surprised with this pad.
First off the bat it works and pairs up with my New Switch OLED with ease and performs just great.
I used an OTG cable and plugged it into the bottom of my Switch OLED and plugged the pad into that via USB and it paired straight away.
The buttons, D-Pad, trigger buttons and sticks all work in flow with no lag what so ever and just the whole feel of the pad feels like it has been well made and to last.
The battery seems to last a good few hours but this has not been intensively tested but for me cannot fault battery life as yet.
I’m not sure what the turbo button is for maybe Street fighter games ect but I don’t play much of these so I have been unable to see what it does.
I have tested games from Burnout Paradise to Darksiders 3 to castlevania collection to Contra collection and had no issues at all.
The only negative I can give is the lack of NFC support for Amibo’s. They could of stuck an NFC chip under one of the analogue sticks and I would of easily give this a 5* but due to the lack of NFC/Amibo support then it has to be a good solid 4* from me.
Overall very pleased with this pad and it will get some serious usage and can highly recommend
I’ve used quite a few controllers for the Switch, my favourite has always been the Pro Controller, but I found that long playing session would leave my hands sore due to the wide hand grips, this 3rd party alternative is an awesome replacement…
Size-wise, this isn’t as bulky as the Pro Controller, and not quite as slender as a PS4 controller (I’ve put a photo up so you can compare this with the standard controller, Pro Controller, and a PS4 controller). The grips are textured and this makes a big difference, much bigger than I was expecting. The controller sits firmly in the hand and I never felt the need to grip it hard when playing, this meant that over a long session I hand no cramps or aches in my hands.
The battery lasts the stated time (I got 6 hours of Mario kart out of this), however I didn’t use the Turbo functions (I’ve had need to use this on any other controller to be honest). This plugged in via USB to the Switch and synced right away – other third party controllers I’ve used had required firmware updates and I’ve had to download files to my PC to then update the controller, but there was none of that here.
I like a bit of heft with my controllers, this isn’t as heavy as the Pro or the PS4 controller, but it does have a nice amount of weight to it.
In a nutshell: I’d recommend this over the pro controller, I find it comfier to hold and it works just as well as far as I can tell. An excellent controller for the Nintendo Switch.
I already had a controller for the switch but this looked interesting. It is really easy to set up, just as described. It feels very smooth and easy to use, good weight and quality, much like the PS4 Dual Shock in feel. It took not much more than a minute to set up.
The shape and size are both good for the hands, better, in my opinion than the official ones.
This controller is wonderfully reactive, just as you want in fast games. It is excellent value for a quality product. I have no complaints at all.

First third party controller I ever bought and I am positivly impressed.
Works as advertised, with all buttons correctly mapped, plus it has got a dual shock motor in it which works very well. Battery life is great too! 30 cheaper than an official pro controller it is literally a bargain.

1st add on controller we’ve bought for the switch. Easy set up using the supplied guide. Works as advertised, with all buttons mapped correctly. Product feels well made and suggests will withstand some mishandling. Rumble works well. Can’t comment on battery life is as advertised. But it didn’t require charging at all during a good afternoon of kids usage. As the produxt is very keenly price, we will most likely purchase a couple more in a few weeks once longevity of this one is confirmed.

So this is my second stand alone controller for the switch and even though not the most expensive- it is my favorite. I’m guessing cause it feels and looks a bit like another very well known controller that maybe I’m more used to.
It was very easy to pair, it feels responsive and it feels very comfortable in the hands – it has an almost rubberised coating around the handle.
Can’t find any faults in this at all. However I can only speak for using it with a switch, as I don’t play on PC. Would recommend otherwise.
Now it has to be said that I have purchased and own a fair few other non official controllers in my time so I can directly compare to many other non licensed manufacturers as well as a produce a comparison against the official products too. What I am happy to tell you is that this particular unit is really rather good. Here is a breakdown of the pro’s and con’s of this unit against a more expensive officially licensed unit.
The unit is not too chunky but has a slightly different shape when compared to the standard joy cons or pro wireless controllers that are manufactured and supplied for the Switch console. Indeed it has a slightly different design and feel to other non branded competitors available to purchase separately in the market today. It’s not uncomfortable to hold and use although it takes a little getting used to when you have spent a long time holding a more slimline controller. My youngest children actually found it easy to hold with their smaller hands and preferred this one over the original joy cons. My older kids had no troubles adapting either and like my youngest, seem to prefer this one over licensed pads too. For me though it’s pretty comparable to an Xbox or PS4 controller so I also found it easy to adapt to although I personally couldn’t notice any real discernable difference in use.
Out of the box setting up is an absolute breeze. I attached the accompanying USB cable directly to the switch to charge it and as soon as I turned my console on and pressed the on button on the controller it recognised it instantly without me having to do anything. I was up and playing games in less than 60 seconds. How easy and simple is that?
The buttons are all mapped the same as a standard controller too so no need to mess about assigning each or configuring layouts. The rumble feedback is good and actively replicates my official joy cons. Charge wise this unit lasts about the same time as standard controller and re-charge times are approximately the same too. Being USB you can either plug directly into your console or charge elsewhere. A small row of lights highlight the position number if multiple players are using other control pads. I have included a photo of both this controller and the official Nintendo joy cons side by side so you can directly compare. This particular model is a little slimmer than the official pro wireless offering from Nintendo too and has a slightly better feel to it in my humble opinion.
There is no lag between button presses and thumb pad movement and everything works exactly as expected. On the whole I am very happy. It’s incredibly cheap when compared to the official pro wireless control pad and performs exactly the same but for a lot cheaper price. I would happily purchase this for both myself and younger children purely as it’s a great investment over an expensive wireless pro controller or JoyCon pairing and an easy way to save some money over these licensed versions. A great option and superb value for money. A big thumbs up from me!
This is a regular handheld controller which is the usual type used with the likes of the Playstation only its made for the switch. It makes a real difference when using it in certain games, for instance we like to use it for the games such as Mario Kart as its nice and tactile to hold and gives you more movement rather than the tiny controllers that come with the switch, they are fine for other games however. We would recommend this without hesitation.

So, this actually feels fairly well made which is surprising for the price point; the buttons all have a solid feel, nothing is loose and nothing feels mushy.
The sticks are a bit light but feel fine to use and seem to track fairly well. Vibration is fine and at least they’re not loose rattling around in there.
However, I just don’t know where any credit for it’s design and build should be apportioned because it looks like there are a tonne of these just being sold under different ‘brands’.
I’ll also be honest I’m not 100% sure what the deal is with this “turbo” function, and each of the different listings for this type of controller touch on it briefly but only ever in a directly-translated marketing kind of way.
I think you could do worse, it’s an attractive option if you’re on a budget and it should perform well.
Bought it for my son for the computer game. It works really well, and the controller feels very comfortable to hold. The latency also seems very good.
