Overall I was pleased with the quality of the nuts, bolts, washers, screws and components supplied with this swing. It went together fairly easily, though I did need another person to help assemble the legs to the top rail. The instructions were reasonably clear, but you do need to study the drawings carefully to understand what they ae getting at. The numbering of the component packs and corresponding drawing was however, excellent. A picture might usually be worth a thousand words, but a few words would aid clarity at times!
The wooden components were better than I’d expected too, from what was said in some other reviews. I didn’t have any components missing either, as some had reported. The small ‘spanner’ supplied isn’t really adequate for the job, in my opinion. I found it easier to do a ‘proper job’ with a ratchet socket set and an adjustable spanner – but I did take great care not to overtighten the nuts & bolts with the greater torque this provided.
I was buying this for a grandchild and considered various options including the TP quad seat online before purchase. This was discussed with the child’s parents who liked the extra support and flexibility the quad seat offered. Sadly when I eventually placed the order for this swing a few weeks later I thought it included the quad seat. From the images, it looks almost identical. Sadly it doesn’t, it came with a cheaper fabric seat and a second seat for older children.
Unfortunately the supplier wouldn’t exchange the seat, though I acknowledged this was my mistake and offered to pay the difference. So I ‘bit the bullet’ and bought an extra quad seat. It is a much better plastic seat, with more adjustment options for a child who needs extra back support.
I’m expecting to have to reassemble this swing when my son moves at some point. So I took extra care to grease the carabinas, bolt spindles, washers and nuts to reduce the chance of rust. I also ran a bead of grey silicone around the top edge of the four plastic leg connectors. The idea was to keep rain out of the upper section, which might eventually cause the wooden leg to deteriorate if it is sat in water trapped in the socket. It didn’t appear to have any form of drainage, unlike the bottom of the plastic feet on each leg.
Very easy to assemble, just follow the steps mentioned and have all the tools. You’ll need a drill/impact driver, hammer and a torque wrench.
Took me about an hour to assemble then another to paint. Love the look of it, much better than the flimsy metal ones you get.

This awing was for my grandaughter and overall we were very satisfied with it however when we came to fix it together we found the no 8 washers would not fit the bolts and had to buy more we also found one of the legs had a surface split in it which we were really disappointed in considering the price we have fitted it together so as not to disappoint our grandaughte

The assembly requires time and patience but it is a high quality product and we are delighted with it !
Not as meant to be supplied!! This made it extremely difficult to build as it advertised that only basic hand tools were necessary to erect it. Bought for granddaughter’s birthday and we delivered it unpacked to erect for her party on her big day. It took us 4 hours as we had to borrow a drill from someone local and hope that we were drilling in the right places!!
Once we had done this we eventually liked the finished product and granddaughter and friends loved it.

The swing seems well made and reasonable sturdy. Assembly takes about 1.5 hours, but following instructions is very important, particularly reference the cross braces, which must be fitted before final fixings on metal brackets. The use of an impact driver makes fitting screws easy, but don’t forget to pre-drill holes. The coach bolts really require a socket set to install as the spanner provided will not provide enough torque. Alternatively a good quality adjustable spanner will do the job.
My parents bought this swing as a bday gift for our daughters 1st bday & to say we are over the moon is an understatement. It’s perfect!

All the parts were contained within 1 large cardboard box and no missing items. The supplier has a signed check sheet to indicate it has all been checked before being sent out. Build time on my own was about 2 hours with a couple of breaks for cups of tea! Very sturdy construction and feels really secure! Delighted with the swing as will my 1 year old be! Highly recommended!
Purchased this for our 7months old Granddaughter, very well made with good quality fittings, clear instructions and very easy to assemble, comes with everything you need so the swing can grow with the child, our little treasure absolutely loves it.

It was easy to put together and doesn’t move too much when in use. We currently have it pegged directly in the grass but plan to cement it permanently in the future
I got my husband to erect the swing and he said it was pretty straight forward though I was there to assist ‘holding’ as needed. We assembled it within 30 mins which I think is great, considering we dont tend to assemble things like this often.
In terms of use my little girl loves it, and i can see this being used a lot, and then extended as needed when she gets older.
Definitely recommend this item for anyone looking for a growing swing.

I have set it at the tall height, as the baby seat has long enough straps and it saves messing around with it when she’s old enough to use the normal swing seat (and you may end up forgetting where you’ve put all the bits to extend it any way).
It probably didn’t need to have short and extension legs, perhaps just have long legs to start with. Although maybe other people would prefer to have a choice. Was pleased either way with the swing – looks good with a wooden frame, rather than metal one.
Is a substantial well constructed swing and easy to convert.
Love the idea of the swing that grows with child but although the legs are the same length it wobbles as one leg is warped.
