Triton TTS1400 1400W Plunge Track Saw 230V
Triton TTS1400 – 1400W Plunge Track Saw 230V
Manufacturer’s Description
Stay on track with the Triton TTS1400 Plunge Track Saw, specifically designed to deliver straight cuts and clean lines. Easy to handle and effortless to manoeuvre, the Triton TTS1400 is a high-performance tool that delivers premium results.
Eliminating the worry of the blade veering off course, it stays strong and steady, delivering a professional and polished finish. The flat design of the blade housing means the saw will work right up to the edge of the workpiece, making it ideal for trimming doors and cutting hardwood flooring. The star feature is the ‘plunge’ mechanism, which allows access to the material at any point without having to position the saw on the edge, allowing you to work in confined areas and on smaller pieces of material such as MDF, plywood and solid timber.
It is also ideal for working with material that requires a specific type of cut and shape, such as when fitting kitchens and bathrooms.
The powerful 1400W motor with variable speed, soft start, overload protection and constant speed electronics makes this a premium quality tool. Blade changing is safe and easy with the power switch locking out during the blade-changing process. Mode selector allows quick change between free plunge, scribe, and blade change modes.
– Precision plunge saw for straight and bevel cutting
– Advanced anti-kickback safety feature prevents the saw from jolting when performing plunge cuts
– Non-slip rubber over-moulded grip offering increased support, safety and control
– Powerful dust extractor with 360° rotational outlet protects eyes and lungs and provides clear vision around the workpiece and cutting process

Just what is needed at a good price. Used to clamp Triton circular saw rail in place, worked well.
Genau das was ich gesucht habe, macht was sie soll und das auch ziemlich genau!
Fr meine Zwecke genau das richtige
Made of heavy nylon and saw fitted perfectly in bag easy velcro to close ,quality and goodprice
For some reason nobody will ship the DeWalt clamps to Ireland for less than 80, I couldn’t justify spending so much for clamps that I won’t even use that much, this was the perfect choice, cheap and fits the DeWalt rail perfectly, used them today for the first time and they hold the track exactly on the line giving me cuts as good if not better than a table saw
I purchased this track-square but then tried to cancel as was unsure if it would fit my Makita saw track. Cancellation request wasn’t picked up by courier making the delivery and the t-square was delivered. I am glad it was – fits perfectly on the Makita track (and expect it should also fit on Festool and other ‘similar’ tracks).
Fit is solid and adds hugely to convenience – would have however liked it to be longer so as to allow a longer setup against the edge of the work-piece and hence a more true square when placed. Recommended!
This doesn’t fit the Makita rail well enough, resulting in it being off square: the groove sits out of the track’s channel by a few mm, with two small guidelines making this gap worse. I can’t comment on it being fit for Triton rails, but those reviewers who have used it on their Makita rails should perhaps check that they’re square.
Otherwise it’s a solid feel and looks well made.
hey work great and they are cheaper than the others I was going to buy
I love my track saw! Easy to use and set up, powerful enough for everything I’ve thrown at it and you can buy cheap track too. Can’t fault it.

Most rail squares are 100+. This one is the price they should be. Its not pretty but does the job perfectly. It was bang on square when i lined it with a cut of my accurate table saw. Fits perfectly on festool and makita rails. Peter hutchin joinery
Bargain price and great performance. Very clean cut – very happy.
I just replaced my old one blade on my Triton plunge saw. The new blade gives a clean factory finish cut.
I keep my old Triton blade for rough cutting and keep the new one for high quality finish.
Really pleased with the saw work’s very well probably would benefit from a higher quality blade… but spent a whole day cutting MDF no problems using it with a makita plunge saw guide

Brilliant saw! I wish I had one a lot sooner, i use this mainly for trimming doors down for fitting and it does an excellent job!
I have hardly even picked up my electric plane since buying this and it saves my so much time.
Time is money!

I ordered this item for my husband and he was pleased that it was as expected. He had bought a new circular saw and wanted this as a supplementary blade to give a finer cut. It was a really good price and it cuts perfectly.
Delivery was supposed to require a signature, but one was not requested. Maybe because I looked over 18, but annoying to stay in for an item that would fit through the letterbox.
Otherwise, the blade is OK.
Quite surprised these clamps are so large, expected them to be smaller. Very sturdy, was surprised there was no branding on them. Came with extra fittings which was not mentioned in the product listing, nice little extra
I’ve been using my track saw for years and not really needed clamps that often. I found myself needing to clamp
I bought this very CHEAP set of clamp after reviewing another user’s feedback.
To my surprise it actually DOES fit my Aldi Workzone track saw (actually its a Scheppach PL55 rebranded as Workzone track saw).
Its a tad bit loose on the T-track but its not a deal breaker as once you apply the clamps its securely holds it down.
What a bargain!!!
I bought this for an upcoming job. It looks like a good piece of kit and half the price of a blade with less teeth from the machine manufacturers.
I bought these because the dimensions indicated that they would fit DeWalt track – and they do! Half the price of DeWalt; not as good construction, welded rather than forged, but for track clamping they are more than enough. As a bonus they fit 1/2″ T track too; I can use them for clamping work pieces to my bench. I would recommend.
The clamps are well made and sturdy. The top jaw is 11mm wide and 5mm thick mounted on a 5.5mm wide neck, and fits my Aldi PL-55 saw track perfectly (Aldi’s track saw appears to be identical to the Scheppach PL-55). The box also contained two extension lower jaw protectors which can be fitted in place of the orange protectors in the illustration to give 35mm extra knuckle room when used beneath a workpiece; these are not mentioned in the description or illustration, but are a useful ‘extra’.
Use with my makita plunge saw. Not as grippy as the makita rails. But the short rails are handy for cross cutting
Bought them as clamps to my festool track, fits perfectly much cheaper than festool clamps. Fits into the Systainer. Maybe a bit bulky
Having recently broken the bank and bought a Festool track saw I was looking for a cheap way of making consistently accurate and repeatably square cross-cuts. I came across this on Amazon for 25 and thought I’d give it a go. As others have said, there’s no manual and it didn’t cut square out of the box but it is very simple to adjust for square and attach to my festool guide rail. Once set up, I did a 5 cut test on a 600 mm square piece of MDF. Basically cut each side of the square, each time referencing off the previous cut edge, just a thin trim cut. The fifth cut is back to what was side 1; this time taking about a 10 mm cut. I measured the two ends of my cut-off piece with digital calipers and got a 0.5 mm difference. As the test multiplies the error four fold (one time for each cut) this gives an error of 0.125 mm over 600 mm, certainly good enough for my woodworking. There are other guide rail squares on the market for 8 x this price but they certainly won’t be 8 x more accurate.
Highly recommended.
Just a very quick review to share my experience with track compatibility – hopefully it will spare someone some pain! There are lots of statements, conjecture and guesses both here and all over the Internet about what is compatible with what. This Triton saw is NOT compatible with Festool track. I UNDERSTAND that the Festool saw is compatible with the Trition track, but the reverse is not the case.
Basically, my Triton track (1500mm) was faulty on delivery and it was returned – could not replace it since it was out of stock; so, ordered the Festool track (1400mm about the same price). The saw will not fit on it!

very handy square for my festool track saw, saves time squaring up at both ends of sheet materials.the only advise i would give is lubricate the threaded parts inside and the threaded bolt as the 1st on i had cross threaded so i used some PTFE silicone spray or you could use some grease,
amazon were brilliant at replacing the 1st damaged screw, very fast replacement, well done amazon!!!!!!!

It’s fine for cuts using a short rail. Across the full width of a sheet of ply it’s not accurate enough. It does help you align your track to your second pencil mark, which does help speed things along.
If I break or lose this item,I’d buy it again.
This fits my festool track. There are no instructions, but I figured it slides up the track and the orange nut locks it. I lined it up on a few precut (factory) shelves and the squareness was dead on. A cheaper alternative to the pricey American one, worth a punt at this price
beautiful tool, so easy to put on and lock on to rail, easy to slide and square is just about, shame festool does not make such a great simple attachme
Good build quality. Crazy expensive for a pair of grips, but they fit the Triton rail profile. Most of the time I am cutting longer or shorter rips, so the profile grips are no more effective than any other clamp. However, when you can clamp to the end of the rail they work perfectly. Mine arrived in all-black rather than two-tone.
Used this disk to cut some glass fibre plastic roofing and it does the job very well. The finish was nice and smooth. Did not try it with anything harder so I cannot judge its longevity. For the price, it’s an excellent product. For the same number of teeth, my other alternative was 30 or more!
Good saw with cheap accessories when done right nigh on identical to the makita bar a few plastic bits, use ebay where the blades can be as little as 8 quid. I kitted out with three rail kits the angle guides and cross matched with makita stuff to finish off. you can use makita and festool rails with the former having the anti tilt slot. I found the 700mm rails at silly prices so have six which are now in three lengths for different tasks.
on mdf the saw purrs like a kitten but can be noisy on 40mm mfc worktops. the anti kickback which replaces a riving knife is sometimes a nuisance but acceptible, the depth stop could be more accurate for faster cutting but its livable with.
for the 140 I paid for mine I cannot fault i

amazing dust collection but you must empty before machine clogs up which can mean after every cut . i have used this while cutting indoors and it collects possibly up to 99% of the waste
