Product is as described. Very easy to use. Comes with bag to keep it organized. Very efficie
Really very pleased with this 16A charging cable
My OH could charge at a charging station and that would get him from the station, home and then back to work but never enough charge to get him all the way home again, without stopping at the station again
Now he is able to change that route and fully charge at home and make it to work and then home again.
The cables are bright and easily seen. They are tough and well designed with good fittings and easy to use.
These have cut time off his journey now and they are well worth the cost.

I got this as a spare cable- in case the one I’ve got breaks or is lost.
It works exactly the same as the cable that came with the car.
So no problem at all.
The car I’ve used it with is a Hyundai Kona.
So no problems at all- good charger that neatly goes into its case after use.
I have a fully electric Hyundai Kona. I bought it new and it came with one charging cable.
For the uninitiated, electric cars can be charged in three main ways: using a Rapid charger (taking usually about 45-60 minutes to 80% charge);using a Fast charger (6-8 hours or so to fully charge); or plugging it in to your domestic supply (a lot longer than either of the other 2 methods!). Rapid chargers are the chargers you usually see at service stations and other places and they are almost invariably tethered ie. you don’t need to use your own cable. However, Fast chargers (often at supermarkets and other places) are usually untethered, meaning you have to use your own cable to plug into them.
I had a fast charging point fitted in my porch when I first ‘dipped my toe’ into the electric car market 5 years ago with a Nissan Leaf. My charger is untethered (it requires a cable to be plugged in) and my charging cable is pretty permanently plugged in to my charger. I run it outside via a cat flap on the side of my porch. It can be removed, wound up and put in my car for trips, but that is definitely a bit if a faff. Having an extra cable that can be kept in the boot permanently (in a smart little carry bag) is definitely a bonus. This one looks to be of decent quality and is reasonably priced compared to other ones. I’m very happy!
The charge cable does what it is meant to. Its well built and feels sturdy, I suspect it’ll last quite a few years. It’s also very visible, so massively reduces potential trip hazard in comparison to the usual ones. This is particularly handy with a shared driveway to the charging point!
Similar price to other cables. Comes with a handy bag to stow it in your car and is compatible with the charge points at supermarkets (UK) and my Ford plug in hybrid.
I’ve not had the chance to try this cable out properly yet as our plug-in car that we ordered back in October 2021 has been ‘delayed’ in production due to various global events. When it does arrive this cable should be a useful accessory to take with us in the car for those rare occasions where you might find yourself wanting to top-up and have a type-2 female charge point rather than the more usual cable already tethered-up to the wall-box. I have had a home wall-box installed already and opted for a tethered variety so this cable is not for me to use when at home (unless we ever change-out the wall-box for an un-tethered variety in the future). We have a couple of friends who have home chargers and I’m sure at least one of them has an untethered box so if we visit them we can use our own cable.
I opted for the 7.2kW 32A Single phase cable as this is the middle ground option and is the most that a domestic wall-box charger is likely to have, and is also the most common in-car charger AC charging speed, as you don’t find many that have the more potent 11kW or 22kW onboard charging capability.
The quality of the cable seems perfectly decent and the storage bag is well made and fit-for-purpose without being excessive.
For a price of c. 125 (at time of review) for the 7.2kW version that feels about where I would have expected.
This is a review for Type 2 Charging Cable 7.2kW 32A Single-phase 5M Model 3 EV Charging Cable with Free Carry Bag EV Charger Type 2 Black
This is a really decent electric car charger. It works exactly as it should and charges my electric car in no time. It is good value for money and very easy to use.
This is a good spare cable and is well made. The charging time is almost the same as the original one that I got. I like that it comes with a little bag as well.
Good length and its sturdy. I would recommend .
This comes with little carry bag so easy to store in car.I gifted this to my sister as she has electric car and she says works well and seems as good and fast charging as cable that came with car.Good to have spare cable and doesn’t take too much room in boo
This came in its own carry bag.
The bag had velcro onthe back and I can attach it to the side of the boot to keep it out of the way.
It fits my Mini plug-in hybrid with it’s type 2 socket.
Although I’m not an expert, it works just fine for me and the quality seems comparable to a more expensive charge lead.
My sister tried this out, very easy to use and gives a relatively quick charge but not as good as her original charger but as it’s pretty compact then she said it would be great for a spare to take to work etc
Exactly what i needed.
Spare cable to leave at work so i can make use of our newly installed charging port.
Plug and play simple as that,
Fast charging and well made bit of kit similar standard as what came with my car.
A++++
Easy to use. Effective and does exactly what it is meant to do. Great to have as a spare charging cable for my car and will always use this and keep it as a spare.
