I use this as a face dryer in my grooming salon. it works much better than the Wahl handheld, it doesn’t get too hot, and the tools make it easier to direct the air flow. Very pleased and would recommend to other groomers.

Ive got a white shihtzu who is just not a ‘pretty girl’ shes a total tom boy loves mud, dirt and dust so often needs baths – also has dry skin so needs often moisturising baths and using a normal hair dryer took literally an hour and a half on good days! so saw this on amazon warehouse for around 30% off the full price so jumped at it – glad I did cause it now takes me around 10-20 minutes max to dry off my pup, when she has had a hair cut and is nice and short it can take 5 minutes to get a decent quick dry – with longer hair its no more than 20 minutes if Im being finicky about her hair. Its also less stressful because the noise is much much lower than a normal dryer but it is massively more powerful, the blast of air is very strong which the dog isnt keen on but isnt fearful just hates the face time! but is happier that the whole drying time is reduced massively and not as hot as a normal hair dryer too it varies on its own from warm to cool which is good for reducing frizz and fuzz. Ive even used it on my own head when my hair dryer gave up the goat! worked wonders need a human version of this as its weird to use on your own hair then style of the hair dryer itself.

I got this dryer to dry my large 10-months old pup (currently he is the size of a fully grown lab). He is a shepherd with a short/medium thick double coat. I found the little round nozzle to be great while using on high flow on the smart temperature setting (the other 2 nozzles were a bit useless). It took me about 30min to get him to 90-95% dry bht I did towel dry him very well when he got out of the bath (even at the salon they have never been able to fully dry him because he gets fed up with the drier). The dryer is definitely not quiet but I used a happy hoodie and that made my pup a lot more comfortable with the noise. The dryer is very easy to handle and maneuver to dry him all over and definitely much easier to use than a conventional dog dryer. I don’t think the dryer is powerful enough to blow a heavy shedding coat though. All in all, so far it has exceeded my expectations

    Great drye

better than a normal hairdryer, not as good as a blower.

is same price bracket as dog blowers (68.84 at time of review) and we have one that we compared this too

this is significantly slower however it is just as significantly quieter and easier to store so if you have a nervous dog or you dont want to create a storm of hair then this may be the better option.

This is a very well-designed, solidly built and easy to use dog dryer. It packs a surprising amount of power into the hand-held unit, which is light weight and easy to hold. It’s also a lot less noisy than a standard dog blaster dryer which would make it much more acceptable to dogs who are sound sensitive.

The dryer comes with three different nozzles — a concentrator nozzle, a styling nozzle and a wide tooth comb nozzle. Having short-haired Boxers, I find the styling nozzle best overall as it pushes the water out of the fur as you move it down the body. I also use the concentrator nozzle around the head area.

The user buttons are: Power On/Off slide button, Airflow speed button (to select between three speeds), Temperature button (to switch between cold and warm air), and Smart Button (which automatically alternates between warm and cold air after a 3 second cycle). The power cable is long enough as well.

This dryer would be best suited to small to medium breeds of dog as you’d be better off with a professional blaster for larger breeds like Golden Retrievers or Leonbergers, as they have a LOT of coat to get through. It’s currently selling for a Prime price of 68.84 (reduced from 80.99) which I think is good value. Five stars all round!

Good dryer for small to medium dogs.

    This :

: uahpet Dog Hair Dryer, Portable Handheld Pet Dryer Grooming Dog Dryer Less Noise,Dog Blow Dryer with NTC Smart Temperature Control High Velocity and 3 Different Nozzles, for Household Travel Camping

Looks to be a stylish, unusual, highly effective, and well-designed doggy hairdryer.

    But…
    Is it any good?
    Is it good value?
Will I get a lovely cup of tea , at any point during this review?
And possibly even a biscuit ?
Well… the answers to these, plus perhaps, one or two, extra, questions, we might accidentally stumble across, during the course of my meandering, and often erratic, review, we should take a closer look… …

    Packaging :
It arrives in a lovely, shiny, professional, retail ready box.
The level of packaging is not excessive, or profligate, and is just enough to keep the product safe, and out of the box in good condition.
It makes a very good first impression.

    Recycling :
Most of the packaging can be recycled, including the inner contents.

    Contents :
Out of the box, and the contents are easily catalogued:
    1 x Portable Pet Dryer
    1 x Concentrator nozzle
1 x Wide tooth comb nozzle
    1 x Styling nozzle
    1 x User manual
    Excellent.
Everything needed to get up and running, straight out of the box, with a comprehensive and complete set of accessories, and components.
I love it when companies really think about the initial wow factor when unboxing, and the convenience of a fully accessorised product.

    Build Quality :
    The build quality is excellent.
It feels chunky, well put together, and solid.
It feels, and looks pretty durable.
There are no visible flaws, no ragged edges, no mould marks, and no gaps.
No telltale rattles, or squeaks that would give away poor workmanship.
It all looks very professional indeed, with all the junctions being beautifully finished.
It’s all nicely done, and looks the business.

    Features :
The doggy drier, which they should have named as such, is light, weighing in at only 1.2 pounds, or 0.544kg, making it easy to handle, portable, and easy to operate.

WIth a powerful motor, capable of reaching 106,000 rpm, which is pretty fast, the doggy drier is quick to dry, and very effective compared to a regular hair dryer.

Also, compared to a standard hair dryer, it is much quieter too.
It will not exceed an operating noise level of 80dB, which is about as loud as a busy downtown street.
This is not quiet, but most dogs should be well used to traffic noise, and as such, should be ok with a steady noise of this level.
Use it at it’s lowest setting for nervous dogs, and dogs that are new to the dryer.

With smart temperature controls, the drier will always attempt to keep the airflow temperature at 38.9C, updating every 3 seconds to maintain a steady temperature.

The doggy drier releases a high-concentration negative ions in it’s airflow stream, which removes static electricity and makes your furry friend’s hair smoother.
That is some pretty next level technology, and some cool product design.

The doggy drier has three multi-function nozzles for different occasions and needs.
The Concentrator nozzle makes the air flow more focused.
The wide tooth comb nozzle allows the airflow to penetrate the hair deeper and untie knots easily.
Styling nozzle spread more negative ions to the hair for a smoother touch.

It has a long 1.8M/5.9ft power cord to give you plenty of room to work with.

    Set Up :
It requires little setting up, and is good to go, straight from the box.

    Performance :
In testing, we needed a volunteer.
    Volunteers please furry housemates…?
Trevor? No, put your paw down… you are a cat. I do not fancy having my face removed whilst attempting to blow dry you, as you become more and more angry at the new blowy thing.

Ella? Nope… you are a tiny wee cat. Same issues as Trevor, only with much less danger.

    Buster? Buster….?
    Trevor… is Buster hiding?
Trevor flounces over to the corner of the room where Buster had taken refuge.
    Perfect…
    Well volunteered Buster.
Now let’s get you into the bath for a lovely shower…
Buster is scooped up, as he throws Trevor the filthiest of looks, and promises to pay him back later on.
I don’t envy Trevor’s conversation with him, once he is dry.

Buster gets a lovely long soapy shower.
He is indeed furious with it.
Luckily… he loves getting dried, so forgets most of his anger while wrapped in a fluffy towel, getting molly coddled, and fussed over.
He is a big baby at heart.
Time to break out the big new blow drying machine….
    Buster looks nervous of it.
We switch it on, using the lowest power setting, until Buster is comfortable with it.
He actually enjoys getting blown on, when we first introduce it to him, gently.
He holds his head into the stream of warm air, like a dog with his head out of a car window.
This make sit really easy to get him dried.
Soon, we were able to switch the machine up a gear or two, and were soon blowing away on full power, blasting Buster with a strong current of warm air.
    He loves it.
And so do we, as it takes no time at all to get him toasty warm and dry.
He runs away, once complete, to tell Trevor all about his shower, and new blow dry machine…
Trevor sits high up on his perch, at a wise distance, looking vaguely bored with Buster’s barked story.

The doggy drier is a big success.
Easy to use, simple, and intuitive, it makes drying Buster easy, quick, simple, and painless.
We enjoyed using it, and Buster loved it.

    Down Sides :
No downsides were noted during testing.
Unless you are a large black cat called Trevor.

    Value :
Value wise, it feels like this delivers the goods.
The quality you get with this, makes it a good buy.
I would happily pay the asking price.

    Summary :
    Overall, this is excellent.
It is well designed, with some nice features, and some cool touches.
It is well put together, with a good overall build quality, and some good details.
It is pretty good value, and feels like a good buy.
I am a proud owner, and user, and I am happy to have had the privilege of reviewing it.
Buster likes it, as he gets dry quicker, and it replaces a towel dry which made him super angry.
I think I can hear the sound of a kettle boiling…
    Ooh, lovely…

    Recommendation :
I do not hesitate to recommend it highly.
The doggy drier, and the cup of tea.

    Biscuit ?

I hope you enjoyed our time together .
Thank you for reading my review .

Great dryer for my wirey haired Labrador dog. My dog doesn’t like the hoover and so took a little getting used to being dried but relaxed with this dryer after lots of reassurance and petting. Not too noisy which is great and adjustable settings for strength and heat. Definitely recommend

I have Spaniels and Pugs both have different fur to the other and this dryer is superb for them both, I have a Pug cross which has softer fur, my pure Pug this works wonders to dry nearer the roots which usually stays damp & works a treat a blowing off all the loose fur I use this every day now after a quick brush to get the loose fur up I then use this to blow it all away has saved my poor carpet being hoovered twice a day! Superb, hardly any noise, nice to hold/handle, quick drying time this is wonderful.

My dog is pretty much the primary target for this, he loves playing in the shower and is super easy to bath, but when it comes to drying, he won’t go near the dryer, go figure. I was hoping this might be quiet enough so I could coax him into enjoying it, but it’s fairly safe to say this isn’t a magic bullet and it really isn’t that quiet at all, in fact I’d say my blow dryer is quieter, though to be fair, I’m a professional hairstylist and my blow dryer is top grade stuff with built in silencers, so it does help. Anyway, let’s talk a bit more about this dryer.

It’s boxed really nicely and as a device, it looks cool and feels well made. The whole middle section of the dryer is covered in a silicon wrap which means the plastic shell won’t heat up too much in your hand and also makes holding it with slightly wet hands totally fine. The controls are all really simple and self explanatory, but if I could improve one thing here, I’d probably make it so they had some sort of LED to indicate if they were on/off etc. Instead you’re sort of left having to hold it on front of your hand to see which mode it is on, which feels a bit primitive. Basically though it’s all good and well made. The various attachments fit tightly onto the end and don’t launch off half way through a job. I found the wide tooth comb attachment to be the best for me, as it dissipates the jet of air a little more and has an overall softer feel, which is good for my scatty dog.

As far as power goes, this is reasonably well powerful, at the very least it’s as powerful as a good commercial blow dryer, probably more-so unless you have a particularly good dryer. But that brings me back to the volume. Probably this might seem quiet if you only ever used cheap blow dryers that sound like a plane taking off, but genuinely quiet it is not and nor will anything ever be that needs to be powerful enough to dry any large volume of hair, that’s just physics unfortunately. As soon as I turned it on, my dog made a beeline for the door. By the time he was dry, I had managed to coax him into sitting still about 1-2 metres away as I was just sort of gently aiming it at him on the least powerful and quietest setting, which I should say, is relatively quiet(ish). I should reiterate here that he is a massive wimp when it comes to anything like this, blow dryers, hoovers, even electric toothbrushes. He doesn’t care a jot about loud bangs, fireworks, nothing, but soft buzzy, hummy noises and he’s gone. I do think we made progress with this over the normal blow dryer and I also think that after a couple more baths I might actually get him to accept it, but as I mentioned, it’s definitely not a magic bullet and is going to take some working together with him over time.

Overall though, this is excellent. I really like the heat settings, which are gentle and will stop you ever burning your pets if you idle on an area too long. I also like the build quality and think it’s a good dryer that should last, it’s fairly portable given the shape and the rear filter is decent. If you have a pet that doesn’t mind the sound of dryers, this will be excellent. If your dog is like mine and won’t tolerate the sound of these sorts of things, well, all I can say is maybe it will work for you, maybe not, but you will almost definitely need to persevere together and use a lot of treats before you get there. If you’re willing to give it a go though, then this is as good a tool as any to start with, especially as the quietest mode does go down reasonably low and is a good starting place. My dog did seem to be better with this than the usual blow dryer I have used in the past, but only slightly. I think we’ll get there though.

Not that quiet really, but powerful and I'm making some progress with my dog.

This has 3 different heads so suits both my dogs coats. It drys quickly and is not very noisy so my dogs remain calm whilst I use it. The buttons are easy to use.

Dogs get muddy, it’s a simple fact, however that means that they need washing and with our dog at least she also has to shake herself dry even if i use a towel.

She’s going to shake anyway, but i wanted to reduce the amount of water she was flicking everywhere whilst also keeping tangles out of her fur so a dog hair dryer seemed to be the right route.

This one has a general single point like a normal hair dryer would have, however it also comes with a couple of additional ends to help make sure it gets everywhere. the best one being the one with multiple tubes, this one targets the air through the fur drying it really quickly, you can put it right at the base and it blows all the way through and in a really wide pattern.

It’s reasonably quiet when in use which for scared dogs like ours is a good thing, otherwise she would never let us near her with it. It also sets it’s own temperature to be at the correct level to ensure you’re not burning the dog as they have no way of telling you it’s too hot.

Purchased this product for use at static caravan to quickly dry dogs after walk. I am extremely pleased with this product and it dried excess water, mud and grass cuttings off the dogs very efficiently. I have two rough collies who are magnets for anything that sticks in their coats – this product made quick and short work of cleaning them up. Would recommend.

I’ve had to give this five stars because it’s made grooming day for myself and my dog so much easier. I tried a high-powered ‘professional’ dryer but my dog was terrified of it (as was I!) This new dryer is incredible. The power is just right, more powerful than a human hairdryer but not so powerful that it terrifies my dog. She’s not fond of a blow dry, but with this dryer she will sit patiently whilst she dries. It has various heat and power settings and 3 attachments, which are really helpful. It’s lightweight and easy to hold. Noise-wise, I’d say it’s no louder than my own hairdryer, it’s possibly a bit quieter depending on which setting it’s on. It’s made grooming day so much more easier and pleasurable for us both. I’m delighted with it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a powerful but compact pet dryer. It’s size is much less intimidating for my Samoyed puppy than a big dog dryer and it’s not as noisy either. The whole thing including the fittings are surprisingly sturdy and it doesn’t get too hot either. I can get my dog 70% dry in 15-20 minutes which is pretty good for a wriggly double coated doggy.

    Powerful dog drye

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI really liked how well made this dryer feels. I have a cockapoo with curly hair which is quite hard to dry, but this dryer made it very easy and very fast!

The shape is very comfortable to hold, and the different attachments are great- big one for drying the body, and then the smaller one more concentrated for areas such as legs and feet.

    Great powerful dryer!

We live in England so it’s always wet here so the dog is always getting wet and it smells so bad if we just leave him so we decided to get a drier. The products works so well we get the dog dried in under 5 mins and it doesn’t make much noise either. The various attachments also came in very handy for different parts of our dog. It is way more powerful than it looks and from experience it works better than a hair drier. We keep the device by the entrance so we dry him I sta try and reduce the chance of a wet dog smell.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIf you hate the long and arduous task of drying your dog after they get soaked in the rain or after a desperately needed bath, whether by hand for 6 hours with a towel, a dedicated dog dryer, or by juggling a hair dryer and brushes, this pet hair dryer is a great way of drying your soaked pup quickly, efficiently, and relatively quietly compared to a lot of hairdryers!

Compared to either the bulky conventional dog dryers or the inflatable drying jackets, this dryer is exceptionally compact and easy to use; using it in much the same way you would a hair dryer, this dryer can dry your pup in no time, and the temperature controls and amount of air flow mean you can get the job done in no time and safely!
