We have a large dog and this gate is perfect. The height is great to prevent him from jumping over and it is sturdy and stable. We are very pleased with the purchase.
It’s gotta good weight not too flimsy that the dog can nudge it, but with big dogs it would be easier. Need to have other things to prevent the barricade from moving if the dogs like to push through escape. Comes with 2 stands. Looks decent, better looking than metal grills.
Unfortunately, it came with some cracks hopefully doesn’t affect too much/get worse.
Bought this to keep cat in one room during temporary stay. I read all the reviews and am happy I did because it is great. Sturdy, great hinges, easily slides open and shut.
Love the principle of this barrier!! It’s attractive (as far as barriers go) & super easy to use. I wish I had bought it even taller, as my dogs “could” jump it if they were being naughty. Even though I measured, I wish I had gone up a size in height.

This gate is working beautifully to contain my puppy while I potty train her. And I will further use it to keep her from venturing down or up the stains. Very study and beautiful to look at. I have a small Chihuahua.
I use this when i go out to stop my dog from getting into the bedrooms. It looks nice when out or folded back which is good as its permanently visible

One of the pups likes it when we use this to make him a little 3-sided “private” man-cave to eat his breakfast alone; it’s like a cat who climbs halfway into a paper bag on the floor, with its tail sticking out, but convinced that if he can’t see us, we can’t see him 😉
When we’re not using it, it folds up neatly and looks good enough that we leave it folded in the hallway for the next time.
We find the wooden pet gate very good just the right length and height. The package also came with a note from Universe Home Inc assuring us that if we had any problems with the product to please contact them.
I really like the gate. It keeps my dog out of the kitchen so I don’t trip over him. Definitely does the job. It’s a good build. Smooth finish. Low enough for me to step over but tall enough to keep my dog safe on the other side. Flexible build can place it how I need. Gate swings both ways. Easy to fold up n not heavy. Easy to carry n store away when not needed.
After purchasing other pet gates, I finally found the perfect one. Not only is it sturdy, it easily shapes and folds without being bulky. Best of all, the base anchor feet aren’t necessary if you have small dogs!
You don’t have to assemble it, it’s very flexible, and it’s surprisingly heavy. I’m sure if I had big dogs, or dogs in general, they wouldn’t be able to get passed it.
Also no, neither cat has jumped the fence. Getting the 20×36″ is a good height—they just sit and stare at each other. It’s prevented many cat fights until they adjust to one another.
This is a well-made beautiful product that I am happy to have in my home. It contains my two little dogs in the kitchen & looks good while it is doing it. I find it easy to move & easy to open the ‘door’ end to get in & out of my kitche
We had an old fixed gate that we had to take out. Thought we wouldn’t need another one. Then house disaster happened with drywall, flooring, electrical people all over the place. Tried building gate with styrofoam blocks that our elderly cat Tramp broke through like the Hulk. Got this gate and he sleeps through everything. Stores well and wish I thought of it soone
Brilliant gate! I use it in the hall to stop my 2 pups from going upstairs and getting to the front door. It’s very well made, sturdy and a good height. Worth every penny. Delivery was really quick.
This gate is just what we needed to keep our 15 and 19 pound miniature schnauzers out of the “squirrel watching” tower! It matches my kitchen table extremely well, is very sturdy, the “feet” are perfectly engineered to keep the gate stable, perfect height for my dogs, and it’s very easy to open and close. After all, doggies must be allowed SOME squirrel barking time!
I loved the finish as well as the overall quality. This is a very sturdy and easy to maneuver gate. I am using it in our stairwell and it’s perfect. This is very versatile and I will be using it in other areas to keep our little dog out of carpeted areas while we’re out of the house.
It’s such and self supporting. I had worried Molly could knock it over in her eagerness to get to the sofa but it holds firm.
Ok, it’s not invisible but it’s not ugly, and most importantly it stops Molly jumping up when she isn’t allowed to due to arthritis etc.
I’m actually going to buy a second to go round the bed leaving space for a ramp so she can be fully independent.

I bought 3 of these gates to keep my 11 week old kitten away from electrical wires and to help to barricade him from entering certain rooms for now. So far each gate has worked great and even with him jumping on it, it hasn’t fallen over which is a must.
This works perfect for what we needed. Easy to move out of the way and the feet make it very stable.

Amazing and love it! I ordered two for our space – fat cat and pocket dog are well contained if needed.
Like everyone here I bought this as a pet owner, however we are using it to keep our child from our parrot’s cage, which is placed in a corner. We used tie-wraps to attach each end to railing posts and it works like a charm. This fence is absolutely perfect in height, length, fabrication, you name it. You can’t go wrong with this purchase.
More heavy duty than I was expecting. The height is perfect for my large Goldendoodle.
We haven’t got banisters on our stairs so cannot use a stair gate. We have adopted a rescue ex breeding dog, medium size, which is approx 5 years old, very long legs, about 24′ tall but can stretch a lot! This gate has been better than I imagined. We can angle it in different ways to block the stairs off and front door. As we are house training her we needed to not give her free access to the garden, so we were able to block off the back garden french door but have the door open in the heatwave. We bought three panels and this is enough to manoeuvre across various things. It’s sturdier than I thought it would be.
