Purchased this cooler backpack as a replacement to my previous one after several years of usage.
Must say first impression on arrival were very good, sturdy, good quality and surprisingly spacious inside compared to my old one.
Wasn’t let down either on our trips out using this, especially as the ground blanket attaches nicely to the bag as well and the side pouch can hold larger bottles. Good internal capacity, easy to clean, kept everything cool using just three cooler packs and comfortable wearing on walk.

This was cheaper than many others so I was a bit dubious but it worked really well. Kept food and drinks cool and loads of rooms for plates and cutlery.
I use this bag for work and fishing also been taking out on paddle board recently as it keeps everything dry as well as keeping my drinks cold.

I’ve been desperate for a cool bag back-pack that isn’t boring black & grey, or covered in sickly stripes. For the price, i’m really impressed with this bag. The material has a smooth finish so its easy to wipe. Ample space to pack a generous picnic for 2 (i’m sure it could stretch to 4 if you just want basic drinks and snacks). For me, i’m confident i can fit in two rounds of sandwiches, 2 litre drinks bottle, obligatory hummus & potato salad pot, choc biscuits and veg snacks.
I like all the side pockets and bottle opener will definitely come in handy. Good space for plates and forks. Fits on the back nicely, no obvious discomfort – i much prefer this to the duffle bags that weigh down on one shoulder.
And i love the colour. My boyfriend refuses to carry our current neon pink and blue shoulder bag. But this one he’s very cool about. Good value for the price. Glad i got it.

My magic bag. This rucksack is a great purchase. Good quality and very tough. It held ice and even water without leaking. It’s comfortable to carry and features lots of useful pockets. If you need to keep anything chilled I would recommend this rucksack. Good capacity too. I used it to keep meds chilled for a 20 hour flight and it was very effective.
Used to carry McD’s home, 2 happy meals plus 3 burgers and extra fries, lots of room and kept the food warm during a 10 min walk in about 5 deg C. Very happy.
I use this bag to carry my food and cooking gear whenever I go fishing. It’s very spacious and sits comfortably on my back even when fully loaded.
I really like this backpack. It works really well to keep stuff cool. I overloaded it with ice packs and even the next day it was still ice cold.
It has a front pocket for plates and cutlery plus a pocket on top and side pouch for bottles. There are loops on the side for attaching other equipment.
On the straps is a bottle opener (cap lifter) and a small pocket for keys, change etc.
There are plenty of handles, two on the sides and one on the back so it’s easy to handle when it’s not on your back.
The main interior seems to be watertight and it can also be mostly pulled out so it’s easy to wash and dry.
As a backpack it’s reasonably comfortable and even has the all important chest strap.
I have to say, I’m very impress. It’s been well thought through and I find it difficult to think how it could be improved.
The backpack is good looking but there’s only one large compartment for storage of food and icepack therefore I don’t think you can really use it for daily purposes (laptop, books, etc.). There’s another small compartment in front with straps for plates and discs, also specific small pouches for knifes and forks – very picnic specific.
I have used this for one occasion for about 12 hours. At the start I had 6 frozen icepacks stored. The backpack was transported in a car on passenger seat (12 degrees outside and 17 inside) for a few hours, then kept at room temperature (25 degrees) and finally driven back home. The backpack was only opened once during the whole process for less than a minute to load up. When I got home, all icepacks had already melted but the water was still cool and there was no sweat around the icepacks.
I’d say if you only need to arrive at your destination with some cool drink, this is fine. However if you want to transport frozen food for 10+ hours and arrive with the food still frozen, you’ll need a portable fridge instead.
This is a really well constructed cooler backpack. It is made from good quality synthetic materials that provide good insulation and cushioning. The backpack feels really robust and well padded.
There is a main cooling compartment which is good capacity, as well as an outer zippable pocket offering plenty of room for utensils.
The stitching is good, the materials are decent (including faux leather in parts) and the straps are comfortable, including a fastening strap across the chest for added stability. There is also a bottle opener on the one of the straps!
It is a really well made cooler backpack, far better quality than I was expecting and one that should last a good while.

This bag is a great quality. The compartments are well-thought and come in very handy when organising things for a picnic. We have used it a few times and we are very pleased. You can add a couple of freezer blocks to help keep drinks/food cold, but even without, it does the job. It is very spacious and fits ample things. Overall, a good buy.
We’ve had a picnic backpack for a number of years, but the lining is coming apart. The fact that this bag comes empty is an advantage for us, as the components of our existing bag are fine – and also fit neatly into this one.
When the bag arrived, it looked quite small, but opened out to a surprisingly large capacity. The inner and outer clean easily with a damp cloth, and it is easy to carry. It also looks pretty smart!
At 35 at time of writing, it is a little pricey, but if it lasts as long as its predecessor, I’ll be happy!

A really good size bag which is full insulated. It had 2 padded straps which are adjustable, which helps it sit comfortably on your shoulders/back. This is a really nice well made cool bag. It is great quality and also look amazing and is unisex. I have had a number of cool bags in the past but most of them I must say are pretty ugly. This is anything but.
The bag is large and has a number of pockets, the main pocket is big enough for a few sandwiches and drinks plus a few other snacks. The front pocket is actually for plates and cutlery. There are also a couple more pockets including a side net for a water bottle.
The bag works really well keeping food and drinks chilled for a long time. Being a back pack it is also super easy to carry around especially with kids. Great for the price and i’m sure we will be getting a lot of use from it.

I took this with my family for an outing, filled it up with ice to chill two medium sized bottles of coke and filled the other compartments with sandwiches and fruit. After a half and hour walk in mildly hot conditions, to my pleasant surprise nothing had leaked the ice had held up well and everything was nicely cooled when they were unpacked. This bag is easy on your shoulders and is a lovely addition for any trip!

This is a very well made ,sturdy cool bag. Lots of space inside and a good layer of thickness to keep things cool. I used this in my garden to see how long it would keep things cool and insulated and it did last the whole day. I feel confident it would be a real asset on a day trip and i would recommend.

This is fantastic we are always going for days out and having to lug back to the car to get our food from the cooler box.

This backpack cooler is stylish looking, and the fabric used seems very sturdy. The insulation is great and does not leak from the bottom of the pack.
Get this for a beach trip and was very pleased with the product. The bag can hold more items than I had anticipated.
Of course the more you put in the bag, the heavier it is.
It was nice to not have to pull a cooler on the sand, and we had no issues with leaking. In fact, you no need to worry about how to open beer bottle. Beer opener on the bag strap.

This is super spacious with lots of room for more than two adults and kids.

The size is perfect for my family for one day out. Bag has its weight which is on the good thing. It’s well made, sturdy and functional. Inside is enough room for sandwiches, fruits, drink, anything we fancy for the day out.
Zips and outer fabric is fully waterproof. Shoulder straps are nicely padded and feel comfortable when wearing. Inner material is thicker, strong and easily will provide efficient protection for food stored inside the bag. It guarantees keep the temperature lower than on the outside, unless we keep opening the bag and let the heat enter inside..
Bag has specially desired place for cutlery and plates which is always handy. We have disposable paper plates and cups which are lightweight so it wont add the weight to the bag..

This backpack is really useful if you want to go for a picnic but don’t relish the prospect of carrying a heavy bag with the handles digging into your fingers, it’s much easier when you can put it on your back and carry it that way.
You can fit a surprising amount into the main insulated area and there’s a large pocket for cutlery and plates along with straps to hold a blanket. In fact everything you need for a lovely day out can be fitted into the bag.
It’s also useful fo when I defrost my freezer, I can pack stuff into here as well as my other cool box and know I’ve got plenty of time to clean my freezer without worrying about wasted food.
There are lots of little features like a bottle opener, a chest strap for added comfort and side handles so the load can be carried by 2 people if you’re not using it as a backpack.

First of all, I was impressed with the economical packaging on the backpack. On opening, I was impressed immediately. I opted not to take any photos as the backpack I received is well represented by the pictures on the product page and I didn’t feel my photos would add anything. The backpack has a well-made and sturdy feel which bodes well for using it out and about. The cooling part does a good job with the addition of an ice pack or two. The extra sections for cutlery, plates, bottles or whatever are very handy. A great rucksack for taking a picnic out on a hot day.
Fantastic quality, definitely good value for money. The outer layer is thick and strong and comeplety waterproof and wipe clean. The capacity is perfect for a family picnic and there is a storage space for everything so you can be organised. The front straps also allow to carry a picnic blanket so no need for a separate bag or strap. It’s comfortable to wear although it can obviously be heavy depending on what you pack into it. Its really well made and seems very durable. I would recommend it.
I’m really impressed with this cooler backpack. It has some amazing features on top of already being a 2 in 1 backpack and cooler bag. It can carry a large amount of stuff however careful packing is necessary in order to make the most of all the space. The bag is lightweight however once full it can be quite heavy. That being said it is still far easier to carry around than a regular cool bag, blanket, tableware etc. Personal preference I would have prefered there to be 2 external drinks holders, 1 on each side opposed to the elastic straps but plenty of room inside. I knocked off a star as some of the stiching is a little shoddy and some of the zips are quite stiff. Otherwise highly recommend.

At 30l this bag can hold 42 cans of 330ml soft drinks, so it is big! You will need about 4 freeze ice blocks to keep everything cool.
The bag has so many features you get one front zippable pocket to hold plates and cutlery, it has slots for everything, including seasonings! There is a side mesh for a bottle, top small insulated zippable pocket, 2 fully adjustable straps with cross chest strap and bottle opener, 3 carry handles and a large internal zippable pocket to fit the chilled stuff and ice chill blocks.
I really like this ruck sack, as it is a game changer. If I was to have one moan, it would be the zips on the main compartment, as you feel it is going to catch the lining. But I am sure these will work loser and the lining will pull down when full.
Overall this ruck sack is comfortable, practical and quite stylish too in dark grey and black PU leather.

Great picnic backpack which leaves your hands free to carry more stuff or to hold hands or a dog lead. It’s great quality with lots of handy features and to just put it into perspective of how much it will carry, I’ve put 2 school lunch box bags in there and there was room to spare down one side and on top. I also got three litre bottles in there standing up. One on the side. Possibility a 4th on top. So it’s not super huge but definitely big enough. Holds a banquet for two. Basic supplies for four. You may need two for a family of 5 plus. Really comfortable to wear and easy to clean. Awesome price at 29.74 at the time of this review. I hope I’ve helped
The following is a review of the Upeelife brand 30L Cooler Bag Backpack. It arrived in a cardboard box and if the box size was anything to go by, this was going to be a let down of sorts I thought.. How wrong can you – or rather I – be? Once out and ‘de-compressed’ into it’s real shape, it’s certainly one stylish and cavernous bag as its well designed which is very obvious once you start to look around it. It’s quoted as being waterproof and judging by the construction, I would say it certainly is plus the material itself has a very strong and hard wearing feel to it but by saying that it has a soft touch to it – we have come a long way from plastic lined canvas of years ago now! It seems to swallow so much stuff inside as it’s like a ‘Dr. Who’ Tardis in some respects plus the exterior fitting for a large bottle, wine or otherwise, is a nice touch. The real test was it does keep items inside quite cool – as the recent heat wave here proved while reviewing it on an afternoon walking across the fields! – as the bag has good insulation. On the outside there are assorted nylon webbing-type loops, a mesh pocket and a small but useful beer bottle opener (!) but the real nice touch, or design, is the twin zipped compartment on the front that you can keep cutlery and plates in on elastic retaining straps. The zips are very sturdy and feel like they will give good service as they open and close as required. A nice, natty little zipped compartment on the top of it is also very useful of odds and ends. Wearing it is no different to wearing a normal rucksack plus the straps are nicely padded so don’t cut in to your shoulders with the clip/buckle fittings feel robust plus tucked away in one of the straps is a zipped compartment: handy for keys, coins or notes?.. This is a very nice and well designed thought out rucksack make no mistake as for those odd days out, holiday walks or picnics or attending an outdoor event this might well fit your requirements

I picked up this Upeelife 30L cooler backpack to replace a smaller one we’ve been using for a few years, which had started to split and I have to say I’m far more impressed than I thought I would be.
The bag itself is a very nice size, being neither too large nor too small and as you can see from my photo’s has no problem swallowing a 2L bottle, with plenty of room to spare for food.
The material has a very nice strong feel to it and despite having some kind of plastic coating, it still feels quite soft. There are plenty of webbing loops on the sides so that you can attach extra items, a mesh pocket on the right hand side which is useful for quick access to a drink (handy when you’ve got kids) and a large pocket on the front which has hook and loop straps inside so that you can store plates and cutlery. There is also a small zippered compartment on the top of the lid.
The rear of the bag has 2 reasonably padded shoulder straps, which make the bag far easier to carry than the holdall style coolers and one of the straps also has a handy bottle opener fitted to it.

I’m really pleased with the Upeelife 30L cooler bag.
It’s a great size for a family of 3 or 4 and feels very well made. The zips on these products can often feel very cheap, but that’s not the case here as the zips all feel nice and smooth and are the waterproof type (have covers over to help prevent water getting in).
I really like that the top of the bag opens up completely, so you end up with an opening as wide and deep as the bag, making it easy to put things in and out.
Upeelife even supply the bag with a handy little storage bag to keep it clean and dust free.
All in all, I’ve got no complaints and we’re looking forward to some nice days out over the summer.
The bag is a multifunctional cooler bag and has a capacity of 30L, the measurements are 33cm in length, 20cm in width and 46cm in height, inside it has a leakproof and insulated lining which will help keep food and drinks warm or cold throughout the day and it holds a generous amount of both. It has 2 adjustable straps which allows for attaching picnic blankets ( i love this feature), the front flap can be unzipped to reveal velcro straps and holders which will hold plates, knives, forks and spoons securely in place.
The are also areas on the sides to place bottles of wine or other drinks of your choice. One of the straps has a fixed bottle opener whilst the other strap has a small zip pocket. On the very top is another handy pocket for holding mobile phones or wallets and small purses.
I have not yet had a chance to try it out in rainy weather as the weather as of late has been hot and sunny but it does state that it has a waterproof material lining and i did notice the stitching was tight and the zippers were sturdy and worked smoothly. The bag straps feel comfortable on the shoulders and don’t dig in even when its loaded with food and drinks.
The bag is easy to clean, a wipe over with a damp cloth will do the job. I am happy to give this backpack 5 stars, it is well deserved.
Thought this would be useful to keep food and drink cool on a hot day. It’s a good sized backpack that’s nice and roomy on the inside with small zipper compartments and hanging loops on the outside, all handy for extra bits and pieces. The inside of the bag has a silver insulated lining which manages to keep everything cooler than if you were just using a regular bag…
The caveat is you really MUST use ice packs or freeze boards/bars to maximise the cooling potential of the bag otherwise it becomes a heat incubator when the temperature soars; I like the reusable freezer blocks that you stick in the freezer and then just pop into your bag in strategic positions around your food and drink containers; adds a bit of extra weight but does keep things a fair bit cooler – and for longer. I like the Thermos 800g freeze board (they have it on Amazon) as it fits nicely at the back of the backpack – or a couple of the 400g ones work well too.
Brilliant for long car journeys and days out, this is a good quality bag with a durable feel and works as expected. If I was getting a cool bag again, I might opt for a boxy holdall style cool bag over the backpack style as the more structured shape makes it a bit easier to fill and quickly find the contents The backpack has its merits though and is arguably much more comfortable to carry if you’re on a walk as opposed to just loading and unloading from the car. Good though, effective and worth the investment for what it delivers.
Fits loads of essentials in it for a beach day. Also fit my new picnic blanket in the straps, lovely. Plus, my man looks great carting all my crap to beach with it on for me. Easy to clean, looks good and useful. The bags fine too. Would recommend.

I have been using with travel for work away, it has alot of space inside and holds a strong shape at all times. In the wet weather it has kept all my work clothing dry and food fresh and warm.
It’s easy to clean and waterproof material is stylish. It has lots of useful compartment for storage of anything you need to store.
It’s strong handles make the weight inside easy to carry on my back and shoulders.
It’s best backpack I’ve had. I would highly recommend for work or travel as a rucksack and as food storage picnic backpack.

Appears to be good quality, and as other reviews say looks more like a good/trendy rucksack than a cool bag.Camnot speak for how effective as an actual cool bag, as not used yet.
We used this product while we were away on holiday. It was an excellent size for a family to carry round lunches and drinks and snacks for the day. Everything stayed cool all day which was great as it was warm weather. Having the cool bag in a rucksack form was brilliant as it was easy to transport everything round and having different compartments was great as the rucksack was very spacious.
Received the upee life back pack on Tuesday. It’s absolutely amazing, kept our food warm for over two hours, and kept our cool stuff cool for literally hours. There is so much space in it, we managed to fit our picnics in it and also little girls coat and hat and sitll had room in. It’s very stylish and lovely to carry, very comfortable. This will now be my go to bag
Fantastic cooler family backpack
This is perfect for family days out. We are a family of four and finding a cooler bag that suits our needs, has been hard to find.
However, this backpack is fantastic. Perfect size, not too small or too big. We were able to fit everything in it for a family of four with some extra space.
Being a backpack makes it really handy with young children who often want to be picked up and allows you to continue to have use of both hands/arms, which other cooler bags don’t.
It has handy separate compartments to put cutlery and plates, water bottle and for us the zip compartment at the top was so handy to store baby wipes, which with little ones you are always needing quick easy access to. Although, others might find it useful to store keys/mobile/wallet.
The inner lining is great quality and easily wipeable. It is very lightweight, super comfy and looks so stylish too with the black camo effect. Fantastic quality and reasonably priced, you just can’t go wrong with it.
This will definitely be our go to backpack when taking the kids out for the day. A very happy customer & would highly recommend to others.

Exactly what I was looking for! It’s the perfect size to fit all your bits and bobs for a picnic and keep them safe and it’s fab for keeping things cool and warm. It’s also not too feminine so my husband was happy to use it too all round 10/10
