“Setting” → “Display” → click the “mirror display” box to switch to Extend mode → then you can drag a window of website/movie to the rightest side of your desktop screen until it disappears on your desktop screen and shows up on the external monitor screen.

I’d had loads of problems with my MacBook Pro and external monitors, something to do with a different chip. But this one not only works perfectly I have achieved the impossible and have two external monitors; one of them is portrait!! The orientation of the external monitors had to be changed through the monitor software and not the settings app on the MacBook.

Really good docking station that works well with a split screen. Four stars.
The device is a little difficult to set up, you need to open the internal storage device and install the drivers.
Once everything is installed, the device works brilliantly. I have 2 screens, speakers and a microphone all going through it with no delay.
Runs TWO HDMI monitors from one USB 3.0 socket on my nine-year-old MacBook Air.
Don’t ask me how. It just does.

This frees up the Thunderbolt 2 socket which, I hope, I may be able to use for a high-speed external drive.
I still can’t believe this works. It’s even self-powered via the USB. No power supply needed.
Downsides. Box is metal and it does get worryingly hot, but it’s ok so far after one week of use . (I might but it on a metal plate to help the cooling.)
The key to its success could be its built-in driver software. It asks ‘do you want to update?’ which I said ‘NO’ to, just in case the new software was TOO new for my MacBook. It seemed to be the right decision.
Once the driver was installed it all worked perfectly. Amazing.
My laptop has a USB C and USB 3.0, but the USB C was for charging only. Little did I know and I tried another adapter that did not work. Bought this one for the USB 3.0 not sure whether it would work as it has mixed reviews. I downloaded the drivers as specified in the description and instantly after plugging in the HDMI cables to the hub, it worked instantly. No problems. Only had it 5 minutes, so lets see how long it lasts. But instantly I am very very impressed and happy! Thank you 🙂
Does what it says on the tin. I am using it with a Dell laptop, one ASUS monitor (HDMI 2560×1440) and one Dell monitor (HDMI 1920×1080). Screen mirroring does not require any driver installation, I use it for Extended screen which does require a driver to be installed (Windows 10); a base version of the driver comes with the docking station (it appears as a USB drive when connected) and it has automatically updated the driver a few times since, all without issue.
Not only was the product great but to my surprise I was also contacted by the team to make sure it was working okay for me. With these items not to be a bit of a pain to set up I was very great full for that and will for sure be buying again.
The docking station is light weight and a small form factor so can easily fit into your backpack if you need it on the move or sit nicely on your desktop ready to just plug and go, personally I have it attached using some command Velcro pads. One on the dock and one on my desk. This is a great way to prevent it moving about without damaging your desk and still allows portability when required.
The range of outputs is nice allowing for multiple additional devices to be used while your laptop is docked. The dock feels well made and it should last a long time.
I have tested so many of this dock and I can confirmed that this is also nice and it basically perfect as expected.
I can use three screens at a go without any interruption which is brilliant.

I’ve been using this for 3 months now and swap between my work laptop (HP) and our home laptops (ASUS & Dell).
It’s been working very well – the unit does get warm as others have described, but not scalding hot. If you’re in the habit of leaving your laptop on overnight it may be worth disconnecting the device to give it a break but otherwise I’ve not suffered from any of the performance issues a few others have described. All of the USB ports are functional etc and I’ve not had it chewing through my CPU (my work laptop is put through a lot so I would have noticed if this was causing a problem).
Overall, if you get a working unit it seems to do the job very well for a reasonable price, would recommend.

I had trouble finding a docking station that can use two screens on an old 2017 MacBook AIr. This product works a treat.
A good quality docking station , ports are well placed and its well designed with good build quality on the casing , there’s a bit of weight to it and the performance is good.
I have no complaints apart from the current price of 69.99, it seems expensive to me as I’ve tried similar docking stations lately that cost a lot less but still performed as good.
It’s very easy to set up and can be used straight away , it’s a nice looking docking station, ergonomically sound, ports are good quality, but seems a tad expensive to me.

I have many different devices to connect to my iMac and my other windows laptop while working, so this adapter is a perfect addition to my desk and my extra screen.
This adapter is really pricey, but it is pretty good especially when you are dealing with many computers and screens while working.
This adapter has two 4K HDMI ports and 3 USB 2.0 ports. I noticed that I am unable to charge my iPad (my iPhone was fine though)through those USB ports and I am not sure if it’s the adapter or the fact they are 2.0 rather than 3.0. It’s a bit disappointing as honestly for this price I would expect at least one of the USB ports to be 3.0. Another issue I had is that the USB input didn’t go in completely in, but it still worked, though I found it a bit too loose.
I have to say I didn’t install any drivers to use it but it worked well for me at this stage – maybe as I used it only for a short while and haven’t had to connect my additional screen, but soon I will have to use it so hopefully it will all go well.
Overall I am happy with this adapter, though I am not 100% sure if it’s worth it at this stage.
I’ve got this for my home PC. The main reason being the 3 extra USB ports for the many various devices and computer add ons now available out there. The end for the PC or laptop can be either USB A or USB C as there is a removal bit to change the male end.
You get 3 USB ports for whatever you like, phone chargers, keyboard, LED etc. You also get 2 hdmi ports, allowing you to use up to 3 screens. 1 can support 4k at 30fps and the other 1080i and 60fps. Although you do need to install the software in order to use solit/multiple screens.
This does seem to have quite a hefty price tag attached to it for what is a relatively basic bit of tech these days. And it does get really hot quite quickly. It hasn’t caused me any issues yet, although I’m not screen sharing. Small and stylish.

Ordered specifically to work with a new Mac pro this docking station is everything it should be. This is actually an essential piece of kit for many laptops and computers as more and more extras are plugged in. It needs a driver, but the Mac recognised it immediately and found the necessary software online.
The quality of this one is really good. It has a good, solid feel to it. It fits neatly into the Mac, and all the other bits slot neatly into the docking station.
I particularly like the different ends on this which gives it so much versatility. It’s small enough and light enough to be slipped into a bag or laptop case if necessary.

Love this. I have just set up a second editing suite and this has come in handy so much. Yes, you have to install some software but for a 6 port unit pushing 4k @30hz (wish it was at least 60) its worth it. Made like a nice shiny brick it is strong and stylish, It has some weight to it Fast speed data transfers. Didn’t see any lag with my external Razer BlackWidow V3Pro. This docking station becomes quite useful if you work from home. basically, the main thing why I got this was to connect two monitors to my Laptop. It’s way more efficient than just using the laptop monitor.
Of course, you can connect, more things to it as it has a variety of connections: 2 x HDMI ( Which one is for 4k and another one 1080P for work it does not make much difference but for gaming, it’s quite important ), 3 X USB to which I connect my keyboard and mouse . The connection of this dock can be chosen between USB and USB-C depending on your laptop.
The other great thing is the size of it, it is quite small so will not take much space.
Overall is rather a good dock, maybe could have some USB-C connections as well in it, and some extra stuff but for most users, it will be more than enough. And of course, before buying always check will it work with your laptop as sometimes they are not compatible.

Love this little hub. Let’s me plug in both my monitors into my laptop using the usb c port. A couple of usb Ports are also on the side of this but I’ve no need for these. Small and compact so doesn’t get in the way, easy to hide behind my laptop. Happy with this hub.
This is so far working well for me, build quality is decent and dual HDMI is working just fine, bear in mind though it will only do 30hz in 4k or 60hz in 1080 so not much good for my gaming on the big screen, works well as a fast docking station though and even comes with a handy USB A to USB C adaptor, no overheating or glitches to mention on my copy so gets 4 stars from me.

A nice well made docking stations. Perfect for extending the capabilities of laptop. I have on my desk and everything plugs into this little device now and this one device plugs into my laptop. Such a great idea and so much neater on my desk. Would totally recommend. Great product.

I’ve tried this docking station with my laptop and it worked fine. I was previously using a USB-C to HDMI adaptor and this was a great upgrade, adding in the additional USB ports.
The Amazon listing cautions that you will need to install drivers – this was easy to do, but worth checking into before buying if you’re using a corporate laptop provided by your employer – you may not have the Windows admin access needed to use this product to its full potential.
I have tried to use different docking stations for multiple extended displays with my Huawei laptop and I have always been unable to, Mirror screen Would Be OK but only on 1 other screen, This little device is a game Changer, once I received an email from The seller explaining how To download and Install the viewer app I had 3 displays all on extend mode, The Laptop display and 2 pc screens all Working seemlesly. Tried so many USB to HDMI cables that just don’t work , this plugs into my lap to usb and 2 screens via HDMI which enables me to use 3 screens at home.
