- We have found that this dongle-styled adapter DOESN’T work with MagSafe charger because of the restriction imposed on the charging pad. Meanwhile, we also found that if we change the built-in 56KΩ pull-up resistor of the adapter to 10KΩ pull-up resistor, it works well with MagSafe charging pad! However, we refuse to do so since in order to provide a safe charging, a 56KΩ pull-up resistor MUST be used!!
- To solve this problem, we have designed another cable-styled adapter and integrated a premium chip into it to make it work with MagSafe charger. Please visit our Amazon Store to get more product information.

Cost-effective alternative to buying new cables
I needed to connect a relatively recent iPhone to a legacy Apple Mac and a Naim Mu-so Qb. Both of which only have USB-A ports. Since I was transferring data it made sense to buy three adapters I could leave installed and ready for future use rather than spend more on one USB to USB-C cable I would need to keep moving around.
They work perfectly. Just a shame they don’t work on old USB chargers.
This saves wasting good usb plugs.
Excellent idea. I was so annoyed that I couldn’t use my existing plugs for my new iPhone but with these, I still can. Plus you get 3 of them. I well recommend them.
Handy device
New car has only USB-C sockets so got a few USB-C to USB-C but was unable to use with a number of other devices as just USB. Adaptor are tiny a hardly noticed when in use. They mean now if I do require any new cables I can just get the new type
Perfect for the job
With half of my gear needing USB C and the rest USB 2 these items do just the job. They appear to be well made. Not a lot else I can say.

Adapter enabled charging of table
Bought this adapter so I could use an existing charger with a new tablet. Cable that came with the tablet had USB-C connector at both ends and charger had a USB-A female connector so needed a USB-C female to USB-A male converter. Converter did the job and was able to charge the tablet.
Happy with this purchase.
Reliable USB A-C Adaptors
This is my second lot of these! Although not used (yet) for data, these are solid and reliable for converting a male USB C to a (big) USB A. Handy if you have power outlets with just an A, or power banks with both A & C. At a time when charging leads, etc are more coming with a C (in my case iPhone MagSafe cables).
Simple and extremely useful
Wanted to travel with one type of lead (USB C to USB C) but still make use of older plugs, cards and hotels that have USB A sockets.
These adaptors work, take up minimal space and are pretty cheap – I’m very happy with them.

More and more items are coming with C ports both ends. These allow the conversion of traditional USB sockets into C sockets. All that could be asked for, simple, effective.
They Work
Fullfilled all you would want from a small communications component. It works well, solidly made and was cheap.
I only needed one, so a ‘pack of three’ was a bit over the top, but at least I have two spares, or can hand them out to others.
I use this to connect my Samsung phone to my PC – a far easier way to trabnsfer files than trying to use the rather ‘hit and miss’ Bluetooth method.

Works For Charging
Works to charge through HP laptop and via varying types of usb c to usb c cable in to old style usb slots. Did not seem to want to connect to TV (which is explained) or CarPlay (Ford) for me.
Make more connections
When you only have a USB C cable and all that’s available is a USB 2 or 3 port for charging or connecting then these little connectors do the trick. I bring them everywhere and use them all the time when here is no USB C publicly available …… nearly all the time. Great value and price. Recommend !
Work as expected
I needed extra usbc slots but decided to try these.
The usbc end ( male) of whatever cable you have slots neatly and securely into this device, which has an old usb end( male, large usb type, not sure what it is called) and now I can plug my usbc cable into the spare usb old/ big slots that I have and don’t need, and it works well.
Just be sure the old usb slot you are plugging into is purpose compatible, for example the old usb slots I have are for data only and not for charging, and this device doesn’t magically change the wiring inside your laptop, but it does let you use those old usb slots if you only have USBC cables.
Needed to link new iPhone to car play which works through USB cable – USBA that is. Apple do not supply a USB c to USB A(male) cable so used these adapters instead. No problem, cheaper than finding new cables and do the job.

Bought these adapters to use with pc so I can use the ctype to ctype cable. Most products come with c type to c type cables these days so these adapters really come in usefull . Good value pck 3
Bought this to convert an old USB a battery pack to USB c for my other half, as they needed to travel and I wanted to make sure they had some way to charge their iPhone in an emergency.
I didn’t expect there to be 3 of them in a packet hit this is probably due to me not reading properly. But at this price that is fantastic value.
The finish on them is not the best and they don’t feel very planted in the device, but they work exactly as advertised.
At this price point I really can’t complain.
Functionally does the job
These dongles are discreet and functionally work okay, though they aren’t the quickest adapters out there. What they lack in speed however is made up in size, they are incredibly small and make the quick adaption between Type C Female and A Male nice and simple. There’s not much to say, they’re sleek, functionally useful and I’d recommend them.
Great device
Used this device to charge my iPhone 14pro using my MagSafe charger plugged into power bank, this way Whilst travelling I don’t have to keep popping off the bottom of my waterproof case which in time I find always snap off. These little beauties work great for this.
