The reason I bought this dash cam is because it comes with an external camera with an option to get a long cable that can be used for vans. It fit on existing mirror which doesn’t stand out.
The camera is a good quality once you get to know how to use it and the screen makes it even better. Picture quality looks very good and I have not tested the nigh vision but I’m confident of this product so much that I have purchased another one today for my other van. I will be buying more of this in the coming months as I’m getting more vehicles.

I bought this for my car as it was coming to a time where a dash cam was required. Upon reading the reviews I’ve decided to go for this one.
The overall quality is rather amazing. The dashcam pretty much does what you want.
Very sleek in design and a quality capture for the pixel warriors.
The only thing I would totally recommend is to read instructions carefully before attempting anything as it could be a bit tricky but once installed correctly reversing almost becomes fun.

Very easy to use and utilise. Both front and rear recordings are quality and does what it says.
Its best to hardwire as it feels a part of the vehicle without have loose wires.
The rear camera will be best if mounted on top of the registration plate as this will be more accurate in using the rear parking mode.
I am satisfied with this product and highly recommend it to those who ever needs a mirror/dash cam style.
I’ve used a 32gb SD card but recommend higher storage as each video takes a lot of space due to high quality.
The only gripe I have, is the connectors that plug into the top of mirror (power, GPS, rear camera) all have a different connector, one has a straight up connector, the other two have a 90′ so it’s very hard to nearly wrap the cables together 🙁
I have had several windscreen mounted dashcams in the past, but have always struggled with viewing footage on a small 2 inch screen. This mirror cam is so much better as I can view all the footage on the 12 inch screen. It fits securely over your existing rear view mirror, so there is no chance of it falling off, a problem I used to have with the suction mounted cameras, especially during hot weather.
I recently changed my car and was struggling with blind spots when reversing due to the fact that the rear window is very small and positioned very high on the car (looks sporty but useless for reversing) So the rear camera on this unit is a great bonus, see uploaded photo of reversing lines on the mirror.
I have had my car keyed in the past, so was keen to see how the motion detection would work when in parking mode. On reviewing the footage next morning I was chuffed to see that it does pick up on motion detection, see the uploaded footage of the dog walker.
I installed the camera myself, using the easy and well written instructions. The only part I struggled with was locating the ‘live’ wire on the reversing light of my car, but an electrical screwdriver soon located it. Another thing to remember is to use a really good quality SD card or the camera may reject it.
All in all I can honestly say this is a well made camera, feels robust and is working perfectly.
The build quality is fantastic, a very sturdy unit that feels premium. In terms of footage, it’s 2.5K on the front cam which is crisp and clear, even at night with only street lights you can still clearly see number plates of vehicles in front/behind you. A bit trickier on completely unlit country roads until close enough for the headlights to reach but the video quality is some of the best I’ve personally had. Rear cam is much smaller in size but still a punchy device with clear footage; I found it’s best to hardwire the set up as it saves having dangly/loose cables hanging over seats or getting in the way. It also means the cameras can still record even when parked/engine is completely shut off which is a godsend for car parks or if hit whilst parked at night.
In terms of the additional features like reverse assist, I haven’t utilised this as much as my vehicle has this in built but it appears to run in a similar way with guidance lines etc, other than what the camera can see, if there aren’t any sensors outside the vehicle I’d definitely only use it as an aid and still keep my eyes peeled as it could be easy for a camera to miss something/not recognise a hazard but the interface looks very good.
As a more premium dashcam set up I love it, the footage is great quality, the design is intuitive and the rear cam is an invaluable addition. If you don’t have a car with reverse cameras/assist I could definitely see this being the camera of choice as it doubles up on uses. I’d definitely recommend!
