Good starter dashcam N1 Pro Mini Dash Cam Full HD
This unit meets my needs, at some point I will upgrade to a unit which has a rear camera unit. The N1 is good for basic needs, I have mine set to create a new file every 5 minutes. The suction cup works fine, I use the 12V socket as it has a longer cord. I am using a Sandisk 128GB mini-SD card and this is only a fraction used after a long drive. As it is only front facing, the N1 is a good start but I will need a rear facing camera.

Not quite right.
Unfortunately it has been made for the left hand drive,American market. So,the lens for inside the cab is difficult to place ‘just so’ because it looks primarily at the driver instead of a proper view into the back. This said,it can be tweaked,moved more to the left of the windshield. The view out the front is not compromised. Otherwise,a great camera with all the bells and whistles!!

I am a Taxi driver and after doing a research for sometime I found this Dashcam that covers my needs. Now it has been over a year that I have been using this Dashcam with no major problem.
Being honest I did have small issue with this Dashcam but I am very surprise to see how quick my issue has been resolved by Vantrue customer service team once I got in touch with them regarding my issue. They send me the new dashcam straight away as a replacement for the old dashcam.
I am a one very very very happy customer, so far I have recommended to 4 of my other taxi colleagues. They are all happy with the dashcam performance.

Excellent front and in car camera
Received the N2Pro dash cam promptly thanks to Amazons speedy delivery service. Upon open the packaging I was very impressed with the quality of the camera and upon installing it with the Ady to fit hardwire kit for straight to work. As a driving instructor it is so important to have a good quality dash cam for when you are out teaching pupils, it’s the safety blanket of having evidence in the event of an accident and this camera also captures footage from within the cockpit of the car.
I would definitely recommend to other instructors.

The product has come in smart packing and appears well designed. The user interface was easy and simple to use so everything is how I like it. The main reason for ordering this specific dash cam was due to the dual cameras which will make it easier for vlogging in the future. I ordered a hardwire kit at the same time to make use of the parking function which can be looked up on YouTube if you want to know how to do it. Definitely recommended

An absolute necessity for today’s driving
I have only been using this camera for a short amount of time. I have found the picture quality to be exceptional with both backwards and forwards facing cameras. This camera is very easy to set up especially if you are using the hardwire kit that can be purchased as an optional extra. If you are to be using the parking mode on this camera it is well worth hardwiring the camera into the cars fuse box.

The item itself is slightly bigger than some but looks very durable as a result, I felt intimidated with installation but managed it in the end, good tip is not to rush it, and the picture quality is superb as is the night vision, I highly recommend this item .

Excellent image quality and great functionality, had to buy an OBD to USB cable to be able to get it to run 24/7.

It does everything it says it should. The picture quality is great and it is easy to use.
The only trouble is that I can see all the silly facial gestures and tics I make.

I purchased this item for secruity reasons. I have to say it beats anything i’ve had before. For such a tiny thing, it displays a huge view. You have to spend a little more than other dash cams but the outcome is so much better. 10/10 item
Quality, RunTime, and product performance and reliability
I use this DashCam as an Uber Driver and I must say its worth every penny. Bought a Samsung EVO 128GB cards and it records a whole week without running out, quality is amazing in night and day and is exactly what every driver needs. I was a bit spectical about buying such an expensive camera but I did alot of research and wow, this camera is wicked. Highly recommend.. Its packed with features. Run time is 24 hours 7 days a week, if you have a power bank, the camera will stay on 24/7

Great Dashcam
Bought this to replace one I’d been given that was a free gift from the RAC. This is as you’d expect is far better. Feels better made, load more functions and much better storage and image quality. I also bought the hard wire kit, so that there are no trailing wires, the holder can be left in place and just makes it a much neater job. Dual front and rear recording lets you record to the front but also inside the car as well as out the rear window in case of a rear end accident. Alternatively, it can be set to just record front ways. Recording front and back creates 2 files, suffixed with an A (front) or B (rear) along with date and time so you can always quickly find a particular event if necessary
A good website and an active Facebook page I think will result in good after sales service if required.
So, really happy with it so far.

I received this product yesterday and I am so please I picked this dash cam, it’s simple to use however I wish it had some WiFi so you could link it straight to your phone. The camera is good also.
Great cam no fuss
Ordered this product last week and it arrived the next day. (my only grumble is that it was being sold for 40 less the next day as part of a lightning deal!).
After a lot of research I waaa tossing up between the nextbase dual and the vantrue dual cam. The nextbase was ahead in my decision for a long time mainly because of the zoomed rear camera therefore getting more detail out of the back window and less cabin. (I am a regular daily driver not an uber/taxi)
However after reading reviews the nextbase seem to be criticised by many people and I was not prepared to fork out such a large amount of money for a flawed camera.
So I went with the safe option as the vantrue had such incredible review. I have to say I am not disappointed. Footage is clear and license plates readable. Great 170 degree viewing angle. Audio quality is sufficient if you require it. Rear camera is good enough to record tail gaters and things going on around the car generally but not enough for license plate recognition. Love how you can use up to 256Gb memory – I am currently using the recommended Samsung evo at 128GB which is plenty!
Setup is easy and use is straightforward. Supplied cable is 10ft which was plenty for me to go around the trim and hide my wires. Thinking about buying a single front vantrue cam for my commercial van now!

I bought it for my jeep so that I can have recording evidence in case of an accident. Superb picture quality and easy to install. Just can’t check about its motion detection as when the jeep is stationed and the ignition is off. It does not seem to be recording

Best dual dashcam on the market I dont think I can find anything better than this. Great quality and really good night vision this was the main reason I got this dashcam. I would highly recommend this product specifically if you are uber driver or working for a similar company.
Great little camera, shame no GPS mou
Great little camera, it is being used in my work van as I drive around 600 miles a week, needed soemthing small so where ever I’m stopped to deliver to the camera isn’t too obvious to passers by! (thieves)
Day time quality is what you’d expect for the price range, but night time is surprisingly very good quality especially considering the whole overall size
Main let down for me was that it didn’t come witb a GPS receiver but you can get them separate if you want the speed / location in the video

Solid product, no regrets with purchase
I have been very impressed with the video quality of this unit. Both cameras, front & rear, have excellent quality & keep up with motion without lagging as noticed on other manufacturers units. I would like to see a better interface on the software for this unit, but I am very impressed with the night mode features . This information could be very useful in certain situations.
Video quality to be excellent both front and rear facing as well as the Parking feature due to problems with bad drivers in the local area parking lots. I am much more comfortable knowing there is always a silent witness if something else should happen to myself or my family members while driving.
It would be great if they did include GPS kit for the price I’m paying .

Excellent Value for Money
The Vantrue N2 Pro is an excellent choice, giving excellent video and sound quality, with the option of driver facing recording at the same time as watching the road. With dash cams now you can’t prove you were not driving without due care, but you can with this model. I totally recommend the hard wire kit, clean and tidy install all for the price of an entry level competitor model. GPS Mount is optional if you require it, meaning you don’t have to spend the extra if you don’t need it. You won’t be disappointed!
Excellent dashcam, easy to install
Excellent product, smaller and more compact than I expected, very good video quality and very easy to install and set up. If you use the 12V cigarette lighter socket to power it, there is a useful little flap that allows you to use the same socket for a USB power.
My wife and I bought this dash cam after looking at the pros and cons and comparing with other dash cams.
I must say this dash cam is amazing! Easy to install, a great clear picture and clear audio, additional ‘in-car’ cam that easily shows the rear of the car and any vehicles behind. It’s a definite ‘must-have’ for anyone who does a lot of driving, specially in busy rush-hour traffic. A great product , well worth buying!

Overall great product which I recommend to those looking for a dash camera with dual lenses.
It can be daunting choosing a dash camera these days as the variety of different models makes it very difficult. Then I saw this dash cam. There was a promotion on this product (lightning deal) for around 100 so i decided to give it go. Here are pros and cons of it. Pros: tube like design( what i was looking for), dual camera (in dual camera mode both work in 1080p, however it can be changed to a single front camera mode with a resolution of 1440p), good quality video, lightweight, really well packaged (feels premium), easy to instal and use, parking mode, emergency recording mode. Cons: high price at its current state and at this price range i would expect a gps module to be included (however, there is a promo from Vantrue).
This dash cam can also be hardwired to your car (optional) however, hardwire kit needs to be purchased separately. Overall, i am really pleased with this dashcam and my purchase. I recommend this product.

The N1 Pro is an excellent dash cam which is straightforward to install and simple to use. It comes with 2 usb cables one for cigarette lighter, one without, and the cigarette lighter has an additional usb port. The dash cam is smaller than expected and is in the attached photo. Is fits behind the rear view mirror very discreetly and the cable is long enough to reach the outlet following the passenger side past the glove box.
The camera records in 1080p/30 and takes a micro sd card / (not included). The image quality is very sharp and clean and smooth. The viewing angle is wide and clear. There is an overlay with date and time and custom text. Night footage is clear too. The camera attaches to the mount and is removable, the only downside is that it takes both hands and it’s quite hard to remove, but the attachment is quite solid though and there is no risk of it shaking or falling off during use.
The firmware upgrade was a simple process too, just download the latest firmware file off the website and drag the file onto the sd card, and when it boots up it install automatically. There are many options like parking mode, loop recording, sensor activation, all of which are standard for dash cam. A gps mount is available at an additional cost.
When plugged in, it can show up as a usb mass storage device or just power on normally. This makes it possible to have other uses too such as home monitoring.
Overall, this is a great value for money device and would recommend.

Really Impressed
I’ve been looking for a dash cam for a while and I have tried a couple of cheap ones from supermarkets but the quality has not been that great. Saw this one and the positive reviews and purchased it. Simple and easy to use with small display screen to check the cameras are in the correct position. The power cable has a decent length to it so it would be possible to route it around the edge of the dashboard to keep it out of the way. I was really impressed that the top of the power cable as a spare USB socket so I can charge my phone at the same time. Playback via the device is clear but once connected to PC the quality really shows, I’ve been able to read number plates of cars going past with no problems. Can’t (and hopefully wont need to) comment on the shock sensor as I’ve not had any incident. Overall, I’ve been really impressed and will probably get another one for my other car.
Easy to Use
A very good dash cam. Easy to use. Sound recording can pick up a voice from outside the car with the window down – Useful. It gives you piece of mind knowing an independent and unbiased witness is watching. The rear facing camera is only for the cabin area of the car but clearly shows if you did look or not or were paying attention. Provides small side view via the side windows. Can recommend this product. There are cheaper ones out there but you get what you pay for. I initially had a Nextbase Duo which came with good recommendations via independent reviewers but ours lasted months, initially the cable covering broke which left no support for the internal wires, then months later the whole item packed up. We have been using Vantrue N2 Pro for months now and is absolutely fine.

Im very happy with the camera. I’ve been using one for almost 2 years now and i just bought a second one to give to a friend. The audio/video quality is great both inside and outside. The inside view has great night vision and can clearly see in the cab at night. Great camera!
