Hat die ersten Tage Datum und Uhrzeit verloren, klappt aber jetzt sonst ist das Gert jede nacht bei mir im Einsatz mit vielen Entdeckungen. Praktisch die Filme werden platzsparend als MP4 Datei gespeichert.
After reading all the reviews, I bought these cameras to replace an older model that had quit working. The price was right. I ordered the cameras on a Saturday and they arrive the next day. The set-up controls are relatively standard. I was disappointed there were no tripod adaptors included. I use the cameras in the video format (15 seconds) and so far, they are taking excellent, high resolution videos. Nighttime the B&W pictures are just as good as another high res. camera I use. I found that using them on high sensitivity resulted in many false hits. Now I use M or L. I do find that the trigger is a bit slow. All my videos start with the target in the middle of the frame, never entering. They have been exposed to rain and have found no problems. Battery life is good. I only had to replace them once after hundreds of videos. Based on my experience so far, (one month) and hoping for long term reliability, I would recommend these cameras.
This is my second trail camera. First one from a different manufacturer was horible quality. So I returned it and bought this one after seeing some pictures and videos from this model camera. I couldn’t believe the quality compared to other closely priced trail camera. This is the winner!

bought these they have given us great pics day and night. the night pics are dark but you can still make out animals in the distance without issues also shows their eyes glowing without any issues, got a couple big bucks on cam with these and a LOT of does everywhere
This is a great camera and is very clear. It is of great value at a very reasonable cost. My only issue is that my sd reader is not compatible for my iPhone 5
Pretty easy to setup and use. Price is right.
Pretty good camera thus far but with way to cheap plastic clasp. Camera was knocked to ground first day by a literally nosy elk. I’ve had numerous animals stick there noses on camera’s or rub them while walking by. I’m sure this is not uncommon to many hunters experience. Need metal clasp , ideally with a little spring.
I have only had these two cameras for a couple of weeks, but I am extremely pleased so far. The question is will they last for any length of time

In bright daylight the movie shows shadows as very dark areas. It seems to detect patches of shade moving over the viewed area as motion. wind blowing bushes branches in day can also trigger it.
Video file management seems easy.
Battery life is holding up for nightly use for the several weeks since I bought it.
It comes with two straps and has plastic slots for tree mounting. Tripod socket is on back half of case. Opening case to access screen, card, and controls requires looking from side or front. Bottom of camera doesn’t allow much surface for contact with top surface of tripod so keeping it aligned on the tripod is a bit tricky. I put a large washer with a large center hole under the camera to make for solid contact with the tripod top.
Tabs for locking the camera are rather rudimentary and are not deeply embedded in the plastic case as on some other game cameras I’ve had some experience with. You can program a lock code that would interfere with a thief using the camera, but the camera would be long gone before the thief figured that out. It needs to be very well hidden or locked in a strongly mounted metal case for security against daylight theft. Even so, in the words of a wildlife observer professional that I know, eventually every camera in an accessible location will be stolen.
On the positive side, at night the light from the camera won’t attract the attention of humans– the IR illumination is completely invisible to me. Other animals don’t take notice either, judging from their behavior in the videos i’ve recorded.
It picks up raccoons and rats at 40 foot distance. I’m happy with the sensitivity.

Bestellt, kam und in Betrieb genommen. Die Menufhrung ist sehr einfach und berichtlich. Also alles eingestellt, und raus gehngt. Diese kamer macht sehr gute Aufnahmen und kleine Videos. Leider macht sie manchmal pause, aber da kann man echt drber hinwegsehen. Leider gehren acht AA Batterien hinein. Und leider ist das Netzkabel fr den Netzbetrieb nicht dabei. Aber allem in allem eine sehr gute Kamera um zu beobachten, was so des NAchts im GArten oder im Wald so umherschleicht. Unbedingte Kaufempfehlung

No hemos tenido problemas con la humedad ni el agua lo soporta a la perfeccin, estanco 100%.
La hemos sujetado con unas bridas en la zona que queramos grabar para que se mantenga bien y pueda grabar imgenes ntidas.
Al ser tipo camuflaje los animales no lo notan como un elemento extrao se camufla de maravilla.
De da y de noche con sus infrarrojos hacen unas fotos que son sper chulas que son difciles de captar de otra forma.
Aconsejo comprar una tarjeta de memoria con bastante capacidad, para no tener problemas de almacenamiento
A destacar la calidad de las imgenes tanto de da como de noche y la capacidad de camuflaje en la naturaleza tanto que los propios animales se encuentran en su entorno pudiendo capturar imgenes muy chulas y alucinantes.
Fr den Preis ist die Kamera vollkommen in Ordnung! Super einfach in der Handhabung und lsst sich prima berall anbringen. Die Nachtsicht geht natrlich nicht sehr weit, aber die Objekte ca 2 m davor werden gut eingefangen! Und vor allem leuchtet kein Infrarotlicht! Ich bin begeistert!
I love this unit. It is solid. The instructions are wonderfully detailed and easy to follow. The unit is so simple to set up that I almost struggled with the ease of using it. It was inexpensive but it seems very well built. You can increase the resolution or use a video mode. You can set a timer so it only takes pictures when you want. You can change the frequency of the pictures, so you don’t get photos of the same animal or and or. All of these features are ease to program (trust me when I say, I’m technology challenged for the most part) Love this Critter Cam!!
This is a really excellent trail camera, especially for the price. The no glow infrared lights are not visible at night. I bought this specifically for home security, to catch some teenagers messing around my house at night. Mission accomplished thanks to this camera! The camera and video quality is excellent as well. Would buy this again if needed.
I bought this camera to place in my back yard because I have so many wild critters that roam through. I have seen 7 deer at one time in my yard and I’ve seen raccoons as well. I would like to see them without scaring them away. I truly love animals and I’m afraid they will not be around long with all the land clearing and building going on near me, nGreat product!!
Very interesting to see who “visits” our burnt out home, then large hole where foundation was, then during the 2 year “agonizing” process of our rebuild, we were able to deter some of the thefts, by trying to identify who was “visiting”.
The picture clarity is fantastic, night vision, is as to be expected, shadows, headlights. Definitely would recommend these trail cams for what we were using them for.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it! He likes all the setting options so her can get the best pics.
I use this for monitoring my deer feeder and it works great. Easy to set and picture quality is better than I expected. It is well worth the money.
Still PRACTISCING with the camera. However, I am very pleased with the product. I found it easy to set up and operate and I am very pleased with the results so far. At present I am using them to record wildlife visitors in my garden but look forward to using as a security camera for the home.
Living in the country this camera is really useful as we have Badgers, Foxes and sometimes small dear in our gardens at night time.Battery seems to last longer than the other one I used to have.
The instructions were well written and easy to follow. All the parameters were quickly set via the menu. The images and video were great. I used it as a security camera. Within the first 24 hours it documented unwanted activity that another business owner and I were able to deal with.

This easy to assemble video is great for capturing pictures of what might be living in your back woods. It works well and the images are well defined.
Here are few comments: The cameras are great camouflage, but the straps are black and stick out like a sore thumb on any tree – maybe not a problem for animals but a pretty good indicator for people that may like a free trail camera.
The straps are also short – go around small pines and medium aspens but nothing bigger than power pole size
The buckles on the straps are also pretty weak, you have to be careful when you tighten them or they break and you’ll end up having to tie the strap
These cameras are slightly better functionally than the non-upgraded version as they have cover that encloses the batteries. The non-upgraded ones didn’t have a cover and the batteries occasionally fell out when handling the camera.
As you can tell, most of this is about the strap which would be seemingly easy to fix from the manufacturer. Most other trail cams I’ve used have a strap the same colour as the camera, or at least some kind of natural colour (e.g., green). There’s not many jet black straight lines out there to blend the strap in with. Also, a bit gruntier buckle and a longer strap would make a huge difference.
The camera itself though, works well, straight forward functionality, and takes nice pictures – so still a great buy for a great price.
The BlazeVideo digital trail camera is very good for wildlife observing. All of our family members like it . We use it as a sports camera and for camping. It’s really easy to use and I especially like its light weight. It’s really a good idea for birthday and Christmas gift. I highly recommend this product.

I had a problem with my initial camera which did not become apparent until after Amazon’s standard return period had expired. After providing details to BlazeVideo they were happy to exchange the broken camera for a new one!! I just received my replacement camera and it is even better than the original one I got as they appear to have improved it in a few ways, notably in the build quality.

I Now have results and already have a shot of a mystery intruder , so the camera is doing exactly what I required it to do.
I am very pleased with it and seems to be excellent value .
I have now ordered a second one and possibly with get a third so I can cover all angles .
I Would recommend it to anyone wanting to use it for security & wildlife recordings.

Well built solid unit……does exactly as claimed……good clarity of videos and pictures.
It constantly amazes me that as the tech specifications go up the price comes down and in some cases a quite spectacular reduction.
Go back a few years and you would have to put a zero at the end of this price to get a camera with just half the features.
Anyway the big answer is ‘Is it any good at this price?’
The simple and reassuring answer is Yes.
Please read on for a little more of my own observations.
In my opinion, this camera is the best choice for you simply because it outperforms all the others I’ve tried and most on the market.
I have been lucky to receive and test a few.
A friend of mine on a lonely farm was having trouble with Hare Coursers.
Now believe me you don’t argue with a set of thugs in a car with dogs on your own.
The camera allowed him to photograph the culprits without their knowledge in the dark in the middle of nowhere.
Now the advantage of this camera is that it does not ‘glow’ and give the game away.
The build of this camera is outstanding.
Whereas other cameras are flimsy when you open the slots this is so much better.
The unit is powered by 4 AA batteries but the beauty of this system is that it holds a second set that allows the camera to switch to the new set.
This means you can leave your camera in situate
for so much longer without having to faff around resetting the thing up again.
Camera life can easily last over a month and with a decent set of fresh batteries it can last up to 2 months. This will depend on traffic
(how many visitors you get) and weather conditions. Cold weather slows most batteries. The more traffic you get the more pics and vids taken the higher the drain on the batteries.
On that note, I should add that the camera is really weatherproof which is what you’d expect for a wildlife camera.
Always use a top quality set of batteries never cheapo ones that will leak and ruin the connections.
You will need a memory card and if it is a micro an adaptor card.
I think when you use the camera you will be amazed at what creatures go through your garden at night.
Of course, it is in Mono or the old black and white for night work but you really are entering Chris Packham Territory here if not David Attenborough’s.
The camera has good features to detect animals.
I have not used mine for cold-blooded ones- we don’t get many up our way and traffic wardens are shot on sight!
Also, I’ve not used the time delay function to take a series of pics of say a plant growing, or a tree budding and the like. But with a bit of planning, I imagine you could make some interesting set of pics of birds nesting boxes and the like.
BUT during the day the camera does film in colour and take colour pics in daylight.
And wonderful they are too.
The placement of the camera lens ensures anything passing is immediately captured.
I’ve used mine to film the visitors to the bird feeders and got some amazing pics.
The camera has a locking ring at the base for tripods but you can easing strap it to a tree and the like with the webbing provided.
This may be really useful if you discover a hedgehog because hedgehogs are having a really hard time at the moment.
With the spread of badgers, the poor hedgehogs are ending up on the badgers dining menu.
All in all?
A really superior wildlife camera that is sure to provide hours of fun and interest.
Note I have not included nor cut and pasted all the specs you can read them yourself and they express them much better than I can.

Die Bildqualitt, egal ob Foto oder Video gefllt mir. Ich lade mal je eine unbearbeitete Beispieldatei hoch, damit jeder selbst einen Eindruck bekommt.
Auch die Empfindlichkeit des Bewegungsdetektors, wie die Ausleuchtung von Nachtaufnamen sind annhernd eben so gut, wie die einer mehr als doppelt so teuren Konkurrentin.
Das Gehuse wirkt schwer und wertig, selbst nach mehrtgigem durchgehendem Schlagregen gab es keinerlei Probleme.
Die Bedienung ist herrlich simpel, das Display reicht aus, um die Kamera wunschgem zu positionieren.
Der enge Blickwinkel von ca 50 bringt den Vorteil, dass das jeweilige Objekt schn gro abgebildet wird.
Ideal z.B. fr schne, nahe Fotos von Tieren. Nistksten, Vogelhuschen oder wenn man seine Katzen berwachen mchte: wer pinkelt da immer an die Gardine? Bzw wer grbt diese lstigen Lcher im Gartenbeet, uvm.
(Wer allerdings eine komplette Hausfront sichern mchte, greift besser zu Kameras mit grerem Blickwinkel. Dann rckt das Objekt zwar optisch viel weiter weg, kann aber eventuell komplett aufgenommen werden.)
Die einzigen Nachteile, die ich an dieser Kamera bemngeln kann ist, dass das Stativgewinde nicht fr deutsche Standartgewinde passt, man muss sie also entweder mit dem mitgelieferten Befestigungsgurt fixieren, oder versucht einen M6 Adapter zu finden.
Der zweite (kleinere) Nachteil ist die fehlende Tonspur. Videos werden zwar in HD, jedoch ohne Ton aufgenommen.
Da das Mikrofon mancher teuren Wildkamera aber von derart unbefriedigender Qualitt ist, kann man auch deren Tonspur oft nicht nutzen, also scheint mir dieser Mangel verzeihlich, ich wollte ihn aber natrlich erwhnt haben.
Bei Rckfragen an den Verkufer – egal ob wegen des Stativgewindes oder der Gre des externen Stromeingangs – erhielt ich jedesmal innerhalb krzester Zeit freundliche und kompetente Antwort auf Deutsch. Also ist offenbar auch der Kundendienst wirklich empfehlenswert.

The photos are clear; the video is clear. With a larger card we were able to leave it out almost a full week and had many photos and video clips to go through. We were able to identify the neighborhood dog so we could ask our neighbors to keep the dog from pooping in our front yard. We have the photo and video evidence necessary if the problem persists. It did not.
I can’t wait to use it on my humming bird feeder in the spring.

Damit die Tiere durch die Kamera nicht verscheucht werden, war uns eine unsichtbare Infrarotbeleuchtung wichtig. Die Infrarotbeleuchtung dieser Kamera ist tatschlich unsichtbar. Die Wellenlnge der sichtbaren IR Beleuchtungen liegt bei 850 nm, diese hier liegt bei 960 nm und ist deshalb tatschlich unsichtbar. Die Bildqualitt der Aufnahmen ist bei Tageslicht in Ordnung und auch bei Nacht erstaunlich gut. Die Programmierung der Kamera ist sehr einfach, weil das mehrsprachige Men neben englisch auch auf deutsch bersetzt vorliegt.
~~~Automatische Auslsung durch Wrmebewegung~~~
Im normalen Fotomodus wird die Fotographie nur gemacht, wenn der eingebaute Infrarot-Bewegungsmelder eine nderung der Umgebungswrme detektiert. Die Wrme einer vorbeischleichenden Katze lst so ein Foto aus. Vorteilhaft ist, da die Mindestzeit zwischen zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Fotos im Men eingestellt werden kann. Damit kann verhindert werden, da innerhalb kurzer Zeit sehr viele Bilder automatisch aufgenommen werden, was die Speicherkarte unntig schnell fllen wrde. Die Kamera hat ein gutes Weitwinkelobjektiv und nimmt dadurch schon auf kurze Distanz relativ viel auf.
Wichtig: Die Sonne sollte im Rcken der Kamera sein, weil bei Gegenlicht jeder Fotoapparat massive Probleme bekommt.
Die Ansprechempfindlichkeit des Bewegungssensors kann in drei Stufen verndert werden. Damit kann verhindert werden, da schon sich bewegende ste ein Foto auslsen.
~~~Zeitgesteuerte Auslsung~~~
Richtig hilfreich ist der Modus der automatischen Fotographie nach einer fest eingestellten Zeit. Im Men muss dazu Time Laps eingeschaltet werden. Dann kann man die Zeit zwischen zwei aufeinander folgenden Bildern beliebig einstellen, z. B. auf 30 sec. Damit kann auch dokumentiert werden, wie sich Kaltblter, z. B. Schnecken, bewegen. Kaltblter lsen die automatische Fotographie nicht aus, weil der Infrarot-Bewegungsmelder auf diese Tiere naturgem nicht reagiert. Im Time Laps Mode kann natrlich auch z. B. der Baufortschritt auf einer Baustelle gut dokumentiert werden. Die erzeugten Bilder lassen sich am PC als Video anzeigen, wenn z. B. IrfanView die Fotos als Slideshow mit nur 0,05sec Verzgerung nacheinander abspielt.
Die Kamera hat ein Batteriefach fr 8 AA Mignonbatterien. Sie luft aber bereits mit 4 Batterien, die fr sich in der oberen oder unteren Hlfte des Batteriefaches eingesetzt werden mssen. Die Betriebszeit halbiert sich dadurch natrlich von 6 Monate auf 3 Monate. Empfehlenswert sind gerade jetzt im Winter Batterien, die auch bei Frost funktionieren. Problemlos bis -30C arbeiten Lithium Batterien, z.B. diese
