Having always being envious of families having beach tents I decided to purchase a pop up one.
I researched a number of them and decided on the larger (XL) version of this one which I’m glad we went for over the smaller.
The tent isn’t that large when packed up and fits in the car boot with ease (4 series BMW) and is very lightweight. I would suggest pitching at home first to understand how it pops up to save any confusion on a windy beach and don’t forget to use the guidelines as this keeps it stable in windy conditions.
Taking it down is as easy as putting it up when done right. Remeber not to force bend any of the rods as some need to be pulled apart before bending as noted on the stickers on each lower arm.
Overal we are very satified with this beach tent and are now the envy of others, we even purchaed some fancy beach chairs and a trolly to pull everything to the beach in and have often just drove to the beach for the day (1hr.30mins away) knowing we are fully kittched out.
This was great for our holiday. Good shelter as it was a little breezy. Very light weight and easy to pitch. There is a knack to putting it away and getting it back in the bag, but once mastered its easy. Great product highly recommend.
The tent has just been put up in the garden so far but it was easy to put up and fairly easy to put down again. Good size for the family. My only complaint so far is that there are no mesh pockets as per the images online which is a big shame.
I bought a lot of tents to try and on the advice of another reviewer decided to take a risk and buy from Amazon warehouse in order to secure the older version

Great for the beach ,zips up if need to leave the beach with your stuff inside easy to put up and to put away, light to carry love it it says 3/4 people its not that big with 2 chairs in it for 2 people ideal
This tent is so quick to put up and down, so nice to not be faffing with poles. I had a query and the seller went above and beyond to help me so I can highly recommend both the tent & the seller.
This was perfect for some shade, changing, (toileting) or just some privacy when out and about.
We zipped it up and locked it to do donkey rides and ice creams. We even pushed the pram into it. Which kept our belongings secure to be left. There is no way someone is picking it up and walking off with it as its large.
It takes seconds to put up. This is a huge plus for those of us with young children. We put a blanket inside to make it more comfortable.
When it’s windy you have to work out which windows to open slightly to stop it taking off. This is trial and error. weighed down the bags on the side with sand. (the pegs that came with it didn’t really work to well in sand) but did on grass.
We’ve used this in the garden for shade, taken it to local parks. It packs down relatively small and we usually prop it onto the pram when transporting it. Husband tells me it’s good to carry and not too heavy over long distances when he did carry it.
It packs into its own bad which is convenient and has enough room to get it in without distressing the bag. Agree with other reviews on this. Also instructions sown into the bag so you can’t lose them is a huge plus. (although once you know how you don’t need them)
Glad we went with the larger tent. (fam of 5, kids 5, 4, 2. plenty of room to grow into it. We can all fit in it which is great.
I would buy again for sure. At 89.99 is great quality with room to grow into it and I Hope it lasts a few years.
I had other tents. All of them were those easy assembly ones. But they are usually hard to disassemble, or at least annoying.
Not this one. It is easy and intuitive to set it up and store it, even on windy beaches.
I found it fantastic.
– The size is great, it fits the whole family there.
– It has several windows that can be closed if needed.
– You can close the entire tent for extra privacy.
– Super sturdy even on the high wind.
– The transport bag is not big, considering the size of the assembled tent, although it takes a considerable space in a small car.
Easy to put up and take down if you follow instructions. Perfect size for family of 3/4.
Used this on a windy beach in France for two weeks.
Very sturdy once guy ropes pegged down and sand bag attachments filled up.
I added 2 guys ropes to the front as well.
A doddle to put up and down.
It is a bit more expensive but will last a long time so will save you cash in the long run.
So easy to put up and take down, really is as easy as the video. Great quality, perfect for British beach, keeps you out of the wind and away from the ice cream snatching seagulls
Saw someone with one of these on the beach and thought it was some kind of sorcery it almost puts it’s self up so had to have one no more struggling in the lightest of breezes with poles poking everywhere and the wife helpfully telling you that that pole doesn’t actually go in that hole it’s the other and packs away just as smoothly what’s not to like .
