Stopped working after 6 months. Said I need battery replacement but the battery is constantly recharged by solar so I don’t understand why the battery has is dead or has failed.
I liked the customer support team that’s built into the app. I like that you can share access via bar code. I like the solor/wifi, so no cables or power source required
Due to issues with a neighbor, and the unknown potential of what he may do, I was forced to install a security system to monitor the side of the house that faces his property.
I initially bought one camera to test with, and within a week bought two more.
The setup is easy and fast. Simply download the app and it walks you through the process. The picture quality is much higher than I would expect with what I consider a budget camera. The solar panels, once properly positioned facing the most direct sun, do keep them fully charged.
The app is simple to use.
The only two things that I wish could be improved upon are these:
first, be able to log into your account to view the cameras via a computer instead of solely the app. Currently, there is no way to view the cameras or the stored footage except the app. You can download then export the saved files, but you are constrained to work exclusively thru the app. I would like to be able to log into my computer to access them as well.
Secondly, while it does give you 4 didn’t sensitivity settings for the motion activation, and based upon which setting you use determines battery life, which makes sense. However, I’m finding one detects too much and the other not enough. I wish they would add a few more adjustment settings to be able to better fine tune how far away something is to activate it.
Currently, one camera is facing siren the drive towards the road, which is almost 100 feet away. On the highest setting, passing cars activate it. However, if I go down one notch, me walking 30 feet away won’t even activate it. So unfortunately I have to leave all the cameras on the highest sensitivity in order to ensure the areas I need to be able to monitor are covered. This does affect battery life, but fortunately the solar panels do an amazing job!
The only other potential downside is you do have to have an active WiFi internet connection. These cameras connect via WiFi to update to the app, so no internet connection, they don’t work.
All said, if you are wanting a cheap way to monitor an area, these are a way to go and I would recommend.
This little gem works better than expected and easy to set up. Price was good too.

Not a bad little camera. Easy to set up although the image is a bit grainy. Works great along side our fixed cameras as we only have this one at the front door. The solar panel seems to charge well. The app was easy to download and it paired easily to the camera. Overall, I’m pretty impressed.
The night vision of the camera is really good, and I love that it can be solar powered too, as it means I can move it around the garden really easily. The motion detection works very well too.
So far, having it in the garden over the past few weeks I have found that we have: multiple hedgehogs, multiple different cats, squirrels and lots of visiting birds.
It was a bit of a faff to set up, but it was definitely worth the effort. It’s really nice to see what visits an urban garden.
Being a solar powered camera this makes it very versatile and you can almost mount this camera anywhere providing you do get sun light on the the solar panel which is very high quality and is weather proofed for maximum energy intake from the sun!
The camera itself is a nice size and can easily go unnoticed if it was placed somewhere high up if that’s what you want, can easily fit Into a front porch and records in high definition 1080p! Also equipped with night vision which is also really good quality.
This camera has many uses! From being an indoor baby/pet monitor or to use outside your front or back garden as a surveillance CCTV which it can easily do as it has everything a normall CCTV has and more! including motion sensor detection, ip65, night vision, 2 way audio SD/ and cloud storage.
The app is self is very intuitive and easy to use and set up, set up and get notification sent straigh to your phone! Speak to someone at your door through the two way real time audio.
Only downfall is the Sd card can take up to 32gb max storage and you only get 1 month free cloud storage.

Seems live a very nice camera. Very clear and quick motion detection.
The images are automatically stored in the Cloud for 7 days, you can additional time by paying for a subscription. I did not test the subscription feature. The wide angle lens works as I expected. The two way talk worked without a significant lag.
I would like an option of buying a longer cable to hook up to the solar panel, as that is needed for
my app. The camera will need to be manually recharged after about two weeks unless I can find a longer cable to get more sun. I also find switching the wireless network to be cumbersome, perhaps it was me, but add a feature or section to the user guide to enable changing between networks.
Fast alerts to my cell phone. Great pictures and sound quality. Best for the low price. Very pleased with the camera.
There are a lot of good features with this and having the solar panel as well as a mains rechargeable battery hopefully means it will never run out of battery whilst in use.
The picture quality of this isn’t the best but it is more than adequate for home use. Overall a useful and straightforward security camera.

Video quality is awesome and the app so easy to install and too use
The solar panel is hopefully going to make the battery last longer but does mean its more difficult to place the camera for some. It was ok for me as where i positioned it there is sunlight most of the day. Happy with the video quality for the price and overall i think its value for money.
The camera feels weighty and solid. It’s got all the features that are expected these days: HD video/stills, a Mic and night Infra Red lights for evening images and video, a MicroSD card slot for saving photos and video to (there are cloud options but I never use the cloud for this purpose), a built-in speaker and there’s even a PIR. One of the huge advantages for me is the addition of a solar panel so that the camera can be positioned almost anywhere and the solar panel will keep the built in battery charged. The camera seems to have good quality weather sealing all around – not sure how waterproof the speaker grille is but I am assuming that it is. The main connectivity area is a recess at the rear of the camera and you get two silcone plug seals (one with cut-out for USB power cable and one without the cut-out) that really do fit snug and tight.
The solar panel is a valuable addition and it can be placed anywhere within its cable length reach so that you can angle it towards the best natural light source. I will mention that I have been testing the camera for a few days now with it sitting in a spare bedroom that only has a small single skylight. It’s not a particularly bright room and I have had the solar panel pointing upwards. After a couple of days I am well impressed that the camera’s battery is still 100% charged. That bodes very well for continued use when I have installed it permanently elsewhere. I really was expecting to see the battery a little drained by now. Outdoors the solar panel would be able to gather loads more light than in the current bedroom location.
To use the camera you need to install the “Ubox” app (I use Android so got it from Google Play Store). The reviews for the app are rather poor but I must confess that I had no issues with it whatsoever… even though I was expecting some based on others’ reviews. I have set up a lot of wireless cameras and I found this one rather easy to get set up. Basically, after installing the app you need to register an account which just requires an email and password, and the location (I just put ‘England’ and it was happy with that). Once you have logged into your new account you have to allow access to your location, photos etc. which is a pain but all these type of systems require this these days. Eventually you get to a screen where you can “Add a Device”. By now the camera is talking to you and making beeps and there’s a blue flashing LED on the front which means it’s ready to start the pairing process. Again this was a simple procedure (make sure your Wifi & Bluetooth are on, and I always do this type of thing whilst standing close to my broadband router… it sometimes seems to help). At some point a QR code will appear on your phone or tablet and you need to hold the security camera about 4 inches from the QR code, pointing the lens at the QR Code and the camera then gets it’s configuration settings. After a short while you will be informed that the camera is paired up, and you can give it a name if you like (such as “Front Door Cam 1”). That’s it. I literally went through the process in one go and it took about ten minutes – that’s a lot better than some other cameras I have set up over the years!
I tested the video and stills recording and viewing. I thought that the image quality was pretty good, certainly good enough for the function the camera is designed for. There was some pixelation but it was very similar to other devices I own. No real issues there. The sound seemed to work quite well too. If you don’t select HD recording then you get a 640×360 video/photo. To be honest I tend to use that to save my bandwidth but if you have good broadband/Wifi then the 1080p HD is what you’d normally use.
All the usual notification warnings are available and it seems sensitive (you can adjust the sensitivity in the camera app). Everytime I have logged on to the camera over the last few days it’s been online and working fine.
I will mention, and you can see in my photos, that I got a slightly different pair of ‘stands’ with my package. I received the black metal one as seen in the Amazon web photos, but I only had one of them… the other stand is a foldable plastic one which is fine but I can’t see any sign of it on the Amazon product page. You can see it in my photos though.
I do believe that this is a really good deal for the 65-ish it sells for. The solar panel adds value but also a lot more ‘ease-of-use’ because you don’t have to feed a power line to the camera (which is often a real pain to achieve). I have to give the system a 5 Star rating because it’s great value and, so far, a good solid performing product.
Concentrating firstly on the camera as I did I am happy to see an actual ‘ON/OFF’ switch, although, I was very concerned about the weatherproof claim of IP65, the various apertures seem vulnerable to moisture ingress, but there is a close fitting, soft PTFE? type plug attached to the solar panel lead which mitigated that fear, although the loudspeaker looks as if water can easily enter via its holes – but nothing so far, I will need to edit should water get in here.
Setting up is a non-event taking very little effort or time. As is usual, a fee is required for storage, but despite my efforts, no details are available as to the cost – it does give a list of prices but no indication to timescale is published so the fees might be daily, weekly, monthly or even annually? Although, I suspect they are monthly. An SD card slot negates the need for cloud storage, a C10 or higher card is required, and it will use a Micro card with up to 32 GB storage which should be adequate for most requirements. The batteries can be removed for replacement or recharge but they do require a specific charger. They can also be charged in the camera which would need to be dismounted and located near a power source.
The loudspeaker speech is distorted, probably because its overdriven to get the volume to a loud enough level to be heard, the camera needs to be mounted high enough to be vandal proof, yet low enough for the microphone to pick up a voice and to be heard for two way conversation. The sound quality is not good. The video quality is okay, though I have seen better, but that camera was far more expensive.
For the 65 price tag, despite the audio quality, and because of the easy set up and solar charging panel, I think its a good buy and I have gone with four stars.

I originally was having a little bit of issue and I really was able to test the companies support. Again I cannot speak highly enough about them! Immediately I had support due to the time difference they work in the evening our time so usually it’s one day turnaround on replies but it’s instant every single time. The company went above and beyond to try to provide a solution to my problem. They succeeded beyond my expectation!
This wireless outdoor security camera is equipped with a powerful 5200 mAh rechargeable battery and external solar panel so you don’t have to frequently charge this when it runs out of battery power. It has an accurate and smart PIR or Passive Infrared motion detection feature meaning once heat energy or motion is detected by the sensor, the app will receive the notification from the surveillance camera for you to check and verify. One of the good things about this is that you can adjust its sensitivity according to your preference so false alarms could be avoided.
Moreover, the camera has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and has a wide-angle lens of 155 with a visible range of 33 feet to easily capture abnormal activities. Once it gets dark, it will automatically switch to night vision so that there is still a clear vision even at night. This also has a two-way audio feature and multi-user sharing since it has a built-in microphone and speaker that allows you to communicate with guests wherever you are.
You don’t have to use complicated tools to install the security camera since it is wire-free making it very easy to use and assemble. Charge the security camera first for 10 hours before installation and then after installing it to your desired area, you need to connect it to a mobile application for you to monitor everything that the camera records. Just make sure that the Wi-Fi is 2.4G and connect your phone to it in advance.
Upon first glance, I am really impressed by its appearance because it looks modern and simple. It is a pretty good size which is not that big nor that small. Talking about its image and video resolution, it is very clear and detailed.
Overall, this is excellent and for its price of 64.99, this is honestly a bargain! The features are great and it works well. Highly recommend.

Overall, the setup took about 1 hr to wall mount the camera and setup the wifi connectivity via the mobile app. It works well but being a 3rd party app, I’m sure how long this software will be supported for.
This wireless security camera works really well. When I’ve looked at these types of camera before they’ve either been too expensive or you’ve had to pay for a subscription service but this one is good value at no subscription required. You do need to download an app and register an account which is quite straightforward. The camera itself is really easy to setup and sync with your phone. The motion sensor works really well and will send your phone notifications to let you know that it has been set off so you can check in on what set it off. We saved our pictures/videos to an SD card but you can save it to cloud storage if you prefer. Using the APP it is really easy to check in on your home through the camera too. The picture quality is really good and clear too. We will definitely continue to use this camera.
Installation is quiet easy. Turn on the camera and download “Ubox”app on your phone. Just flow the app step and voice notification from Camera. Before mounting the camera, ensure the camera is facing the right way by watching from app. The whole thing can be up and running with the mobile app in less than 15 minutes.
It is set up in a fixed position.
It sends notifications off the app when there’s movement. On sensitive It will notify me when my plants 30-40 feet away move in the breeze. I’ve changed it to medium sensitivity and it will go off when a person, animal or vehicle go thru.
It let’s me record the last few seconds on demand otherwise I can go back in the history and it keeps about a week or so of past recordings; I think it saves by space and not time.
I can hear audio from the camera location on my phone and can talk thru the camera. It does get choppy if my cell or wifi signal is weak.
Night vision is good.
Things I would change – allow zooming in on the live and recorded video.
I like theses cameras so much that I ordered a second one. In the future this is my first choice.
Ordered this after we started having homeless people sleeping on out porch at night. I love that it gives me a notification so that I can check my camera. It was very easy to set up and works great in the day and at night. Picture quality is great! I am extremely happy with my selection!
Unfortunately, this camera didn’t work with my router. As is detailed in the description and in the instructions, this surveillance camera only works with a 2.4 ghz router. Now, most routers can be modified from 5 ghz to 2.4 ghz – there are tips in the instructions. However, it turns out my router is the kind that cannot be manually changed; as my service provider explains it, the router automatically adjusts to whatever is needed. I don’t know what that means for me, only that it seems to be permanently set at 5 ghz . Which is such a shame because I think this security camera could have worked really well. I currently have a similar set up, with a solar rechargeable security camera by my backyard. I really love it and so I thought I could get another one to set up at a different area. Too bad I am unable to use this product.
This camera is clear during the day as well as the night. If you don’t use the solar panel the battery will last over two weeks until needing to be recharged. I particular like that it has an intercom option so that I can speak and hear whomever is at the door.
We have a Ring System inside our home, and wanted to also see the outside of our property; but didn’t want to pay $500.00 for the two outside Ring cameras. I decided to try this camera, so I bought two of them. The pics are Clear day and night. I can compare it to my Ring inside Security System.

I was skeptical, but this really is a great camera for a great price!
I have a video camera/doorbell at my front door and it works great, and I also have a trail camera mounted on my fence at the back because I have a treeline owned by the Army Corps of Engineers that is the home of a great many critters. Coyotes, armadillos, raccoons, opossums, and believe it or not, pigs. So…my back door area is not fenced and I wanted to watch what might come up close to my back door. This camera and solar panel were perfect as this area is very sunny all the time (no trees near the door and it faces southwest). It was an easy add – I attached it to the 4×4 porch upright and the solar panel about 6 inches above the camera. It synced up easy with the app and now I can check what is coming near my back door. I have seen a deer – just one – a coyote that slunk by (I also have a motion detection light at the base of my porch stairs that spooks most critters) and a few raccoons as there is a dumpster not too far from my house but the raccoons have to pass by somewhere to get to it so a few of them scamper rather boldly by on their way to the dumpster. The videos are crisp and clear both day and night and have given me the information I needed about what comes near my back door – that’s peace of mind and for this price and what I get, this camera/solar panel is so worth it!
I installed this camera at the far corner of my house. The signal is weak there, so I did not expect to see anything until I had the chance to install a Wi-Fi extender. So, it surprised me to see that yes, I was getting alerts; and yes, video was being uploaded to the cloud. I could not only see the saved video, I could see live video. The nicest thing is the free 3-day cloud storage (most cameras require a subscription). We can pay more for longer storage, but I think 3 days is plenty.
Video quality is decent (could be better) and the lag is not too great. The battery recharges completely with direct sun every day. I am happy.

UPDATE 6/5/21: I got my repeater installed today and the camera works great now. I think the only thing I would like changed is the extra long cable, although I think that could be useful if I needed to locate the camera away from the solar panel. As is, I have to leave the cable coiled up.
The camera uploads almost immediately and it is a clear picture.
